The cafe Cooper and Wolf commanded this location before Millfields opened. C&W was one of my favourite cafes in Hackney (and London for that matter) and I kept returning for years & I know many of friends did too. They had a really good thing going. I am now inconsolable that it has been replaced by something so mediocre with with such poor customer service. I have been to Millfields twice - the first time out of curiosity and the second time out of convenience as it's close to where I live: First time: Saturday 8.30am so it was pretty empty and I managed to order coffee and food without any mishaps. The food (bruschetta) was OK - waiting time was a little long, customer service OK, there was a disorderly atmosphere however. I also noticed there were not a lot of options for vegan/vegetarians on their menu. Second time: Saturday 12pm. Waited ages in the queue only to be bluntly told that they are not taking more coffee orders because one of the machines is broken and the orders are backed up. I understand that they can't help a machine breaking but it's the way they handled the situation - it was chaotic and rude (for example they didn't consider offering alternatives to coffee i.e. informing us of what hot drinks are available?). There were four staff behind the till but no one took my order - they just warned me about the coffee machine. I was just waiting there trying to make eye contact with one of them but all four of them were busy being busy. Eventually someone asked if I was OK and I said I wanted to order some food at least and he told me to sit down. So I did as I was told but right as I sat down I thought other people in front of me in the queue ordered food - I'm pretty sure this isn't table service? By that point there were three more people in the queue and my partner & I were so hungry & disappointed we thought we'd take our chances somewhere more reliable on Chatsworth Road so we went to Venetia and had good food and a good experience. Overall: poor customer service, completely disorderly and confusing, long waiting times, thoroughly disappointing. Will not be returning as I can't rely on them to provide a nice experience. Bring back Cooper & Wolf!
In these difficult times, you would expect a small business to support its community... Well think again. On the first day after the second lockdown, I went to this café to spend a couple of hours working away from home which, as a freelancer based in my tiny flat, is quite an important part of my working routine which has been on hold. I ordered a coffee and a croissant (which ended up being cold and stale – it was 9am), and was hoping to spend about 2 hours in the café on my laptop which I think is not really unreasonable. Yep, I get that laptop people aren't the most appealing sort of clients for a café but I've been going to this place for years including takeaway coffees and pastries. After less than an hour, a member of staff came to tell me that 'according to the government regulations' I had to leave because people were being limited to staying in cafés for an hour. When I asked for her to explain this 'rule' a bit further, she started tangling into her own web of lies by then saying how in order to stay longer, I would have to purchase a 'substantial meal' and that there are only 3 other tables (out of which only one was taken, and there were several tables outside) and that I've basically overstayed. There are definitely nicer ways of asking people to leave by being honest and then there's coming up with these ghost 'regulations' that are simply a justification for them to throw out someone who hasn't spent as much money as they hoped. If I could only sit in with a substantial meal, they could have explained that when I said I'm going to have my coffee and croissant to sit in and not come up with this make-shift excuse after they felt my cash 'ran out.' I'm definitely never going here again and will discourage all of my friends from doing so too. There are plenty of other cafés in the Clapton area with much nicer staff who will appreciate that 'unsubstantial' £5.50 more than this place.
I've been a patron of Millfields for just over a year, so it's about time I write a review. First up, people & service is absolutely on point. There's a real passion for excellence on show here. The whole team are friendly, care about their craft, and care about their customers. You can tell they enjoy what they do, as the team all seem so freakin' happy to be there, and this is reflected in the customer experience. The coffee is consistently excellent. I've really grown to enjoy the Dark Arts beans and it doesn't matter which barista is making your coffee it always comes out exactly as I expect. Moorish and addictive in all the right ways. The food is also excellent. If you're snacking, there's always a bunch or treats to choose from, as well as some very tasty savoury options if you're running on empty. If you're looking for something more substantial then there's plenty of choice, and the menu continually evolves, so you never get bored of the flavoursome, fresh & seasonal options they dish up. I couldn't recommend Millfields more highly.

Sadly, a disappointment. I and my friend popped here the other day to grab a coffee and a snack to takeaway. We ordered a white americano, granola and a sandwich and there were issues with every single item. Firstly, the coffee was filled to the top, which should be a good thing - but not when you want to carry the takeaway cup and the coffee is dripping on your hand. Very unpleasant. Secondly, the granola: a decent portion of fruits but they did not taste fresh at all, also there was really little yoghurt and I was left with half of the granola way too dry to eat on its own. The granola itself tasted really basic and definitely not homemade. Lastly, the sandwich which, as my friend said, was delicious and the sourdough was really on point, but we waited over 15 minutes just for the sandwich and finally got it only once we reminded about it. I try to be understanding and support local businesses in this trying times but that was a complete fail for me. It was my first and last visit to Millfields Coffee.
I ordered a coffee on a fairly quiet afternoon which got forgotten about but eventually turned up with some prompting from me. The flat white was nice but was essentially served in a double espresso size cup so was gone after about 2 sips. The staff then forgot to take my food order so I had to ask someone to come over and take it. I waited 30 mins for my sandwich only to be told that due to a 'technical error on the new system' the ticket was not printed so no sandwich. This would have been more forgivable in a large space packed with customers but there were about 5 people in the cafe, most of which had already been served. I was then offered a pastry on the house for my troubles by a very nice apologetic staff member which sadly turned out to be one of the driest and most tasteless I'd ever eaten; imagine a large 2 day old Cornish pasty filled with air. To sum up, friendly but pretty incompetent. I shan't be returning.
Such a disappointment! The worst thing was definitely the service. Slow, rude and quite honestly felt like they would rather us not be there. Had to ask several times for menus, to order, for the bill etc and food and drinks took ages to arrive. It wasn’t even full and seemed to have lots of staff members. The coffee was decent but the food was such a awful. Do not order the waffles!! £9.50 for two shop-bought waffles! Tasted terrible and I didn’t expect them not to be fresh for the price. There are so many fabulous brunch places in London, particularly in this area, I don’t know how they justify what they’re serving up and in the manner of which they are. The location is pretty good and the café does look lovely, but my god the food and service was woeful. Do not eat here, and expect terrible service. I’d never go back. What a shame.

Customer Service is terrible, except to wait for ages and then be told to "sit down" when you attempt to order from the bar. Eventually I ordered the Turkish Eggs with Extra sausage & apple and kale juice. The eggs were AWFUL! Rubbery, overcooked and swamped in a cold sauce. (supposedly garlic) the sausages arrived separately and were clearly reheated and if not then not presented well at all, warm (not hot). The juice was fine, but when paying nearly 4pounds you except a full glass. I refused to pay for my eggs even though the waiter looked at me like a brick wall when I sent them back. Organised mess is what this place is, serious shape up on customer service skills required and serious menu rethink! If you are in the area Bernsteins is a lovely place to eat! (just up the road) I shall NOT be returning anytime soon, this place will NOT last!
The location is great, the coffee is good. And they take this for granted because the service is really really bad. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to take my order, then I went to the till and was told that they couldn't take my order at the till and I had to 'flag' someone down. I flagged someone down. They couldn't take my order because they had one ipad to take all the orders. I waited another 5 minutes. The man behind the till shouts to one of the waiters, 'they really want to order'. I waited another 5 minutes and left with a very hungry child. If you're going to do 'restaurant' table service then you need to staff the place properly. And take an order at the till if someone wants to give you money.
I recently moved to the area and enjoy grabbing the occasional coffee from Millfields. We stopped by for breakfast today which we have been looking forward to for a while. It was yummy and beautifully presented. I was disappointed that my soya flat white was served with curdled milk, so asked for a new coffee, which I was then charged for. I thought this was pretty poor that (1) they served curdled milk in the first place (but hey that could have been an oversight), (2) I was charged extra for their mistake and (3) the waitress said “it happens all the time with soy” - just don’t heat the milk over 55 degrees and you’re good. The staff are super friendly but please no more curdled milk
I’ve been there 3 times, because it is very close to where I live but the 3 times the staff has been rude if you’re not on their known customers. The first time I ordered a coffee only and used my laptop there but the attitude I received for this was like “if she doesn’t spend a lot here, she’s not worthy of a good service”. Despite that I gave it 2 more tries but both of them were the same even when I bought food. I received this bad attitude from 2 of the women that work there. Sad because the view of the park is very nice and the food is good. The atmosphere is just not welcoming.

Kinda surprised at the general rating - is it a hit or miss situation? I definitely didn’t know what to expect before I went as I had read a few reviews and it was quite varied, but really wanted to go as it’s such a great location and looks great on pics and from the outside. I LOVED IT! Excellent service, super friendly staff, delicious and unique brunch food (had a leek & sweet potato rosti with parmesan dressing). Small comment on the « seasonal fruit » which was basically red fruits so not that seasonal? But apart from that could not recommend this place more. You get a beautiful view of Millfields Park. Rain or shine you get so much light and view it’s so nice to be seated there.
Just moved into the area, went shopping for pots and pans in the morning as was utterly exhausted and starved. Went around the corner and Millfields cafe reared its head! Staff were very friendly and service was perfect. Casual but me and my girlfriend felt really looked after. Sitting here now full to the brim. Portion sizes were perfect but we got those extra little sausages that were full of flavour. Ill be making it a regular thing now for sure! Coffee was perfect too. Got a flat white and it was neither a latte or an cappuccino . Is was in fact a Flat white! By george, we’ve stumbled on the best kept secret in the area.
I never feel welcome there. Especially when I take a seat with my laptop on their dedicated working area, I am being ignored and have to waive at least 5 times to the waiter to order. It's like the other reviews on here, you do get the feeling that they just don't want you there. The other day we were asked to settle the bill even though the place was completely empty 2h before their closing. I would have actually liked to order another coffee but the waitress was insistent to have us out. Truly irritating and stressful honestly.

I had a lovely cup of coffee here, but ultimately decided against eating (I saw a vegan breakfast advertised online, but it wasn't available when I visited). The waitress was pleasant when I ordered my coffee, but when it transpired that I wasn't going to be eating, she became quite rude. She thrust the card machine at me and walked away as I was paying, without so much as a thank you. I'm sure if I had ordered food, the service would have been better... but I don't agree that the level of service you receive should depend on how much money you spend!

Shocking service - the waitress said she would take my order at the table, then proceeded to walk past me 11 times without acknowledgement. She even stopped to collect a menu from a nearby empty table and, instead of giving it to me, walked past me to put it away. The place was very quiet and nobody was waiting for service ahead of me. I can accept shoddy service when a place is busy, but to be totally ignored in this fashion is simply unacceptable. I would advise anyone to look further up Chatsworth Rd in future- there’s plenty of places there that actually want your custom.
I've been to Millfields Coffee several times, for breakfast, brunch or just an espresso, and I've always had a good service. As well as being in a great location, close to Millfields Park and the Walthamstow Marshes, the food is made with very good ingredients. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. I especially recommend the bao buns and the waffle topped with fresh seasonal fruit

I’ve been to Millfields Café three times now. Each time I’ve been the only person of colour in the room, and the only person in the room to receive appalling service. It’s hard not to think the two are linked but after reading these reviews, I must say I’m kinda relieved. They ignore, snap at and roll their eyes at everyone. Regularly! My faith in equality is restored. And to the waitress/barista who bit my head off today, keep being you: someone who really shouldn’t be in contact with the public.
I would give it 5 stars if it would open earlier. Millfields Coffee is perfectly located by Millfields Park and the river Lea, but it’s the only one within easy close walk to the River Lea so it’s a shame it only opens at 8:30 as that’s a bit too late for those who enjoy going for a morning walk before work or want to grab a coffee after a run. There’s usually a queue of people waiting outside so the feeling is clearly shared by others. Other than that, it’s a really nice cafe with good food
Decent sized place. However the menu was not good. I had a crispy chicken which came with waffle and I added a side of fried egg and avocado. The chicken was way to overcooked, they added what tasted like cooked apple too and the whole thing was a mix of flavours, more sweet then anything. I felt like I was having dessert and main at the same time. The place is way too over priced for what you get and considering a few minutes walk up the road there a few other choices of great cafes.
Ok coffee, food and pastries. Generally a good spot but they have a new young girl as waitress who was rude with enforcing laptop free tables policy even while you are waiting for the food. I understand they dont want everyone taking up tables to work from but surely they realise there are smarter ways to handle this kind of problems in cafes.

I imagine that the only people they enjoy serving are the middle-classed, white parents. Incredibly disappointing that they said there was no space despite me pointing out several empty, clean tables. The manager walked past me several times and didn't take the time to ask whether I wanted a drink and claimed the wait to be asked this was 30 minutes when I decided to leave. This is not a place for a POC resident of Hackney

Really loved our walk here to get takeaway coffee and pastries! I am shocked by other reviews, as the staff were so, so friendly. They kept everything very clean, and there were clear signs to follow strict regulations. Honestly I could not have asked for a nicer coffee, cake or barista! Maybe if people were a little more patient they'd see that they're working to the very best of their abilities. Really impressed, and will definitely be back! Thanks Millfields!
The staff in Millfields are really nice, the coffee is excellent and the rotating menu is great, especially for breakfast or brunch. If you’re a sufferer of allergies, they take it seriously too. My girlfriend is coeliac and regularly eats the food here, they toast the gluten free bread under a grill on a separate tray — essential to ensure no cross contamination. A boon to the area! Highly recommended and reasonably priced. You cannot go wrong.
Wonderful food and coffee and lovely personable staff let down by fairly terrible service. Tables uncleared and not cleaned between diners which feels like an elementary Covid prevention step. Having to ask for the bill multiple times despite being very quiet with a screaming baby makes a lovely brunch feel very tedious. The food is delicious so it would be 5 stars for the food, but the overall experience could be better
Nice place were time to time i take my morning coffee there. Today wasn't that nice, no, absolutely not. The member of staff serving me was very rude in terms with her customers service thinking that even people from different part of the world doesn't understand the sarcastic way they are talking with the customers, as with the tone of voice or the manner to say the thing can be notice.People shouldn't have 2 faces.
This place is asthetics. Coffer is mediocre, cappuccino barely tasted of coffee, was more milky than a latte. Brownie was very fudgey but no coco flavour, just sweet sugar. Around closing time, they'll wait for people to buy and sit down then come to tell you we are closing in 15 minutes.

Coffee is really great and the sandwiches are packed full, brownies super tasty. Staff are lovely and the shop itself is such a lovely location, overlooking the park. They have a sort of folded pastry, feta and olive, and ham & cheese that I keep ordering and every time it’s just a bit dry and not much filling. I’ve ordered them hot and cold and still not great. They sound so good so really hoping you might update.
Came here yesterday afternoon to pick up a hot drink after a walk along the park and to support a local business. The staff were friendly and the service was quick however the hot chocolate I ordered tasted very watered down, assuming it was made with skimmed milk or even water on top of it being very distasteful. Perhaps a poor quality hot chocolate powder all of which made it overpriced in addition to the sizing.
Move to the area in October - have visited 3 times and all 3 times the staff have been flustered, didn't acknowledge us or smile when we were waiting and then disappointed to hear they couldn't serve us because they were too busy or too much washing up to do - staff always in a flap and can't cope with footfall. Can excuse it one time, but never successfully been able to order a drink on all 3 occasions.
The place was very busy when we came so it was a bit awkward to get to our table. The staff seemed a bit stressed or frustrated with helping us to seat which did not leave a good first impression. It was also very cold inside. It felt like we were seating in a draft. There's enough space to come with a buggy. On saying that, the food tasted good and my cappuccino was of excellent quality. Very smooth!
Seen this place go through several owners but the current iteration seems the best. Sensible laptop policy, really good cakes, solid sandwich game, Clapton-level coffee, really nice service, no disposable plastic to be seen, and when I was there, a pitch perfect play list.

Good coffee and nice food. Very disappointing service. Interacted with three staff members and ordered two different things and not once did I get a smile, a thank you, a hello, a bye, not sure if any of them even looked me in the eye at any point. Nothing. And I work in hospitality so I make a big effort of being. I’ve and smiley and an easy customer. Not recommended. A lovely place otherwise.
We had coffee here and the 2 coffees with normal milk were nice and the 2 we ordered with oat milk were terrible, I think it was the oat milk that was being used that tasted awful. We asked for soya instead, which was better but not what we wanted. The person serving us said it was Alpro oat milk, I know that most people are using Oatly/Rude Health/Minor Figures. Please change the oat milk :)
Awesome location, just opposite the park. Very inventive brunch menu, different from anywhere in the area. Small cocktail selection, but well executed. They do a wicked bloody Mary! Staff was attentive, without being intrusive. Great coffee too... Top flat-white from Murad, who was also helpful with dietary requirements when we ordered some cakes. Highly recommend it, great find! Thank you!
Really lovely food (particularly for brunch, their avocado and eggs on toast is divine!) and coffee I'd go out of my way to get. It's in a great location on trendy Chatsworth Rd, right next to Millfields Park. The perfect place to while away an afternoon. The only negative is that service can sometimes be a bit sloppy, tables aren't always turned over/cleaned quickly enough to meet demand.
Really in two minds about returning here, the chefs are really let down by the front of house staff. Really lovely food and coffee, but the service is abysmal (there's no other words for it). Simple things that need to be fixed like, smiling when taking an order, water brought to the table and lastly trying not to make the customer feel like they're ruining your day by asking to order.
waited 45 minutes for lunch. No explanations no apology. Cold day and no heating. Directed to water without offer to re set table. Waiter unable to explain lunch options to me. When I finally asked for refund arrogant young man told me 'I didn't know that all cafes on Chatsworth' like this (have lived on Chats rd 30 years). No grace; no apologies; no customer service. It easy to avoid.
To the untrained eye it might look like just another one of London's hipsterland hotspots but don't fool yourself, there's some serious quality going on here. Best coffee I had in London and very likely the best I had in my life. The baked avocado is the stuff of dreams. Staff is lovely, music is great, the area is amazing. What else would you want? Spectacular!
This place feels like it’s not for a POC. I’ve been numerous times and have always felt like a simple coffee order seems to be a task compared to a middle class white person who orders and gets a friendly service. I’ve stopped coming here for a coffee fix because it is very obvious as a brown person, I’m not the target customer. GENTRIFICATION AT ITS FINEST.
Lovely location and the place looks great, nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. I had a macchiato and my girlfriend had a latte, both of which were delicious. Reminded me of the coffee our favourite cafe served back home, excellent beans! We didn't order food so can't comment on that but will definitely be going back for more coffee and/or food.
Awful experience. 3 drinks ordered, 1 forgotten, 1 wrong. No apology for either just aggression and complaint about my attitude. I presume £21 quid for 2coffees, 2 cakes and a baby-chino means you have no reason to ask for the baby-chino or to point out there was milk in a long black? Maybe as a customer we should just ignore rudeness and bad service?
Really lovely local cafe across Milfield Park. Great atmosphere. With a variety of cakes, teas and my personal favourite, the freshly made coffee ☕ I recommend their tasty dishes & check out their special of the day on the menu. If you vegan or pescatarian..., simply ask for any other alternative! I find their prices to be quite reasonable.
Appalling service in the cafe and total chaos in the kitchen. Stood outside for almost an hour waiting for three sandwiches... which never came. Several inquiries and 45 minutes later a waiter said it was "impossible" to tell us when the food might be ready! Absolute joke. Decided to go back inside and get a refund. Never going to eat there again.

This coffee place is located inside the pavilion of adjacent cricket pitches. The grounds are surrounded by nature reserve on one side and the views of canary wharf's banking establishment on another. The sporting facilities are excellent. The cricket outfield was quick and pitch was really well made. We enjoyed a game of Cricket here.
I love going to this cafe, great atmosphere & service--except when the older lady, who seems to be managing everyone, is there. She creates an awful atmosphere and is rude to the staff behind the bar. She has a really nervous presence that doesn't contribute to any effectiveness. You should go, whenever she's not in

1 star removed caused shashuka is no longer on the menu and that is what I came for. Every other review mentions how good it is and as someone who has had it before I can confirm it is awesome. It seems crazy to take such a big seller off your menu when u finally have gluten free bread to eat with it! Staff were lovely tho.
I go here mainly as it is my closest cafe that serves nice coffee and interesting food options. However, the service is depressing. It isn't a one-off - I've been here loads and usually have problems getting table service and being told to sit down. A simple smile would make the experience more pleasant and less stressful.
Our local Ramblers went here for the Christmas get together and the staff were accommodating. They had to fit 11 of us during midday and sorted it out fast. Our main server was Mikayah and was very patient and welcoming. Thank you !

I awaited my coffee with eagerness. When it arrived I slurped it noisily and vigorously to the chagrin of the bearded bystanders. It reached my stomach like a velvet horse galloping gracefully through a dry tunnel, moistening the walls with delicious liquid as it cantered on. A joyous start to the day.

Bright and spacious cafe with outdoor seating. Breakfast menu offers slightly different things, like Turkish eggs and black beans with avocado and toasted sweet corn. They are interesting, nice, but not really something I want to have again. Cakes look really nice, might try them next time!
A spartan everyday interior, with a minimum elaboration still manages to suggest pleasant and inviting. An impressive offbeat brunch/sandwich selection The staff friendly and engaging. The coffee perfectly adequate. There’s good, there’s better and there’s best. This is better than better.
Decent coffee. Well located. Food is ok. Reason for 2 stars? A women who works there. Perhaps the owner or boss? Seriously need to improve her manner. Not the first to note that she is a problem and is likely damaging the profitability of the business by being rude. Other staff are great.
I had a crispy chicken, however, it was overcooked. The biggest problem I have is that the food is so overpriced and the portions are so small. For the money I paid, I got one piece of chicken and a piece of waffle, I would have expected double the size. I had to go home and eat again
Great little coffee shop on the corner by the park. An original and eclectic brunch menu with a few tapas style dishes. E.g. sausages come as a dish on their own. This can make it expensive though. Good quality ingredients, table service is friendly. Good coffee. Recommended.
Lovely outdoor seating and great selection of brunch meals. We had the pancakes and sausage bun. Great iced coffee. Service is fast but the the staff were pretty stroppy. Would have been 5* without the kurtness. It will always be busy because of its prime location.

Staff are lovely, coffee and cakes are great. Only minor suggestion would be the music could go down a notch or two for those staying there for extended periods (although maybe this is intentional to stop people setting up shop to work there)
Stood at the counter, right in front of 3 staff, without any hello or basic form of recognition for almost 3 minutes. Then they couldn't figure out their iPad roll system. Coffees arrived but not the toast (yup, just simple toast). After 12
Lovely cafe, facing the park and great outdoor seating. Tie latte and decaf latte are really good. The sweet potato cake and salad is tasty. They have great brunch options and delicious pastries like the almonds, marzipan and pistachio cake
Pleasant sandwich, if pricey. First server managed to walk past me 6 times in 15 min without eye contact, though acknowledging another customer's dog with pats and smiles. Maybe I should have lain down and begged. Sandwich took another 15
Coffee was ok. £3 for a little extra broccoli is a bit excessive, the tall grey guy serving was rather rude, forgot we exsited, and really didn't seem like he wanted us there. Other lady serving was nice though. Two stars are for her.
Great pastries and lovely staff! I broke my bottle of kombucha right outside of the café, when I came back to buy a new one they just offered it to me. I will now certainly come back many times for their delicious cakes and pastries!
One star here is generous! Extortionate prices for very mediocre and small servings of food. Staff are extremely blasé, never giving attention until you get to the counter and then they ask you to sit to claim their ridiculous 12.5%
I had flat white and cake, fine and tasty, and a good seating space inside and out.Relax and friendly service.Would return.

We just came home from coffee shop. We are thrilled not only making new friends and feelings like hone, but for sunset as well. Shashuka was excellent as well pumpkin cake with tea. Lovely, lovely time and people ❤ ♥ …
Service was great, always friendly and with a smile. I liked that they made some tables laptop free. I had the breakfast bao bun and it was amazing, those hash browns might be the best I've ever had. Great little find. More
Great little cafe perfectly located opposite the park. Really good coffee and the barista in the Blondies hoodie was kind of enough to explain the difference in retail beans. Super friendly experience - would recommend
Had to wait 30 minutes for our coffees. Would expect to be warned of this when we ordered and, since we weren't, to be offered the coffees on the house. Obviously needs more staff and staff trained in customer service.
It's the best coffee in the area by a mile. The staff are also friendly and attentive. Probably make 2/3 trips a week with the dog, who is always welcome. Ignore the 1 star reviews... these people simply don't get it.
Lovely coffe shop with great food. Outside seating available. Near park. Best cappucino(oat milk chosen) I have ever had. This barista is good!!! Feels like you are in your grandmother's kitchen.. Homely and casual
Rude, telling me my coffee was too weak, arrogant and condescending snide remarks when challenged. Insanely overpriced, an absolutely perfect example of what’s wrong with gentrification and snobbery. What a shame.
Ride past so often but glad a friend suggest we meet here. Had a lovely coffee before ordering the soup (spinach & broccoli) and sourdough - it was absolutely delicious! Whole menu looked great - would go back
A great place to stop for a coffee and cake, the staff are always friendly!

Lively little cosy cafe bustling with people with a great atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff even when they are mega busy. Came in for coffee and cake with family and the dog. Will definitely come again.
Light, bright and calm cafe with good coffee and good WiFi. Good place to work or meet friends, although can get a bit packed out with mums and noisy babies/kids at certain times during the week.
Great setting. Nice coffee and decent food. Try the black beans.Quite pricey for lunch and brunch as you'd expect and service can be slow when it's busy. Definitely recommend though.
I visit this cafe around twice a week and it’s great every time. The guy that serves in the mornings is always super friendly & attentive. They serve excellent tasty pastries too!
It's a shame that the staff is not wearing any mask. It's a tiny space and not everybody would feel safe. Otherwise service is nice, food is okay, hot drinks delicious.
Love this coffee stop. Always busy because it's so good, and such a great locations. Has kept us all going through lockdown, and has been super safe and covid-proof <3
Cheese toasty that you could expect on a Ryanair flight

Great location just off the green. Lovely little square just outside you can sit on. There are bike locking space all about. Coffee and atmosphere very nice.
For a change I had a pot of English tea but it was really bitter and horrible and expensive too. . You need to change your tea bags! Yuk. Good coffee though.
Nice coffee, friendly smiling staff. Lovely selection of pastry and cakes. Fair prices for the quality of meals. The music doesn't fits the ambient though.
Delicious breakfast (patty bun with bacon and egg), tasty coffee and super friendly service. Seats available outside and a lovely view of the park.
Good service, perfect atmosphere and out of this world coffee. Tasted amazing, I had to up my daily intake limit by one. Could not resist.
Very cute and bright coffee shop with a wide range of cakes and food. Had a chai latte and it was delicious. Staff are also very friendly.
Can’t say anything bad because the staff have always been friendly and sweet to me, food is great, coffee is vibes, and it’s my local so.
Coffee tastes great but consistently takes an unreasonable amount of time.
