When I walked in the place was wasn't too busy, but definitely not slow either. Finding a table was pretty easy. The server was very nice and took my drink order almost as soon as I sat down. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet with iver easy eggs. The server asked is that all and started to walk away. She was in too much of a hurry and didn't ask for my choice on the other options the skillet comes with. I stopped her and asked for green chile and gravy. She then asked if I wanted tortilla or toast, white, wheat, sourdough, rasin bread or english muffin. I chose english muffin. She was still in a hurry & said okay as she walked away. This is the menu description; Sliced steak with choice of cream gravy or red or green chile and 2 eggs. With gravy and chile is extra. The menu also says all skillets come with hasbrowns or home fries, topped with melted cheddar/jack & served with toast or tortilla. She didn't ask if I wanted hash browns or home fries. The wait for the food wasn't long. It was served nice and hot. The flavor was okay, not bad, but not great. A little on the bland side. It had home fries. I guess the kitchen chose for me. She dropped the ticket off with the food. Which typically isn't a good sign. She charged me for the english muffin. That's fine, but she shouldn't have offered if it didn't come with the meal or at least say it's an upcharge. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. I might try it again. But not anytime soon.
I've always wanted to try this Milly's to see if it's like the one on Jefferson. We went on a Monday while running errands. At first, when you walk in, there's a lot more than I expected looking at the building from outside. Very pleasant and clean. The wait staff was busy buzzing from table to table. It was seat yourself and we picked a small four seater near the front. It took about 15 minutes before a waitress looked over and said, "Oh, I just saw you all," After that, she was very attentive. I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was very sweet. We ordered, and even as busy as it was that morning, our food came out in less than 10 minutes hot and looking good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravey and green chili because that's how I roll. My soon to be wife ordered breakfast tacos. My steak was virtually unedible because it was from the preformed frozen verity of beef like substance. The eggs hashbrowns and gravey were good. The breakfast tacos were disappointing, and even the eggs were tasteless and burnt. I'm not sure I'm in that much of a hurry to go back anytime soon. But I will.

First of all let me qualify my review. I am a truck driver that has visited just about every state within the United States. I am eaten in hundreds of restaurants everything from America cuisine too Mexican Italian Chinese Indian name it I have eaten at those restaurants . Now as far as Millie's out of all the Mexican restaurants I have eaten at Milly's is hands down the best restaurant I have been too. When you first walk in you are welcome my friendly staff and noticed how clean the restaurant is. The servers are the best you'll ever find in any restaurant . Now as for the food I ordered the huevos rancheros which also came with beans and hash browns it was the best breakfast I have ever had.. they have an extensive menu and the portions are extremely large so it's best to come hungry. The restaurant is in the industrial area so Google it to get there it will be worth the time. I give this restaurant five stars plus and highly highly recommended

Typically this place is great but it's gone downhill. I ordered Meat and Eggs when an extra egg and wheat toast today. 1) the bacon was burnt so bad it was like jerky, 2) the toast was burnt so I couldn't eat it as it wheat is unforgiving burnt and becomes very tough. I have soft gums, so i asked for replacement less burnt. They had an attitude about it, the 2nd try was smothered in 1/4 cup of butter. If someone orders wheat is because we trying to eat more healthy. First of all that's just rude maybe put the butter on the side. My son asked for Mickey pancakes, maybe it was a bad batter that day but it's effing tough he couldn't eat it either. My wife ordered egg white skillet and they added cheese, she did not want or ask for it. Basically everything was unpalatable and unhealthy and smothered in butter. Maybe some people like that but we are trying to be healthy. If you want healthy this is not the place to go.
I give this restaurant below a 0 rating. Senior citizens discrimination on this restaurant. On Saturday 8-5-23 a group of us were trying to put tables together when the waitress approached us, with an extremely bad attitude, informing us that she was our server and a second later she informed us that she will not be serving us. Really we’re all over 68 years old! Our group has been coming to this restaurant for several years for monthly meetings and have never had a problem until now. A few minutes later, a few members went to talk to the manager and the manager asked us all to leave. I hope other senior citizens read this review and decide to protest this restaurant. My group are very nice people I would never create any kind of situation. so we all left I will never return.

A friend of mine took me here. I was excited to try it. Noticed it was really packed for breakfast, brunch. A lot of people inside. Massive seating so no waiting but it's huge. Waitresses are spread thin. Have to have patience. Service was slow and food was cold granted it was rush hour and kitchen was probably overwhelmed and tossing dishes just to be taken to customers. So all in all, disappointed in my experience. The clientele is generally older population who LOVE staring at people while they eat or invade their personal space as well. Just something I noticed about the vibe their. Mmm probably won't go there for breakfast but might try it when they're not so busy. Seems like another place that turned commerical :(

The red sauce is the best! It's got some heat, bit more then a jalapeño and made this lady tear up a bit, to be honest. The waitress was polite and very busy. She made sure my coffee didn't go empty and she knew her regulars. The interior had a kinda modern retro vibe going and was clean. Locals you really have a gem here and anyone looking for a big plate of great food, this is your sign to check out Milly's. The menus are new so probably have had a price change recently like so many places.

Plenty of parking, and in decent order.
Kid-friendliness
It is family friendly and there were some kids here when I visited.
Wheelchair accessibility
Right up front where it should be. They have 2 spots marked off.
Food is always freshly prepared; green chili IS green chili and not a bowl full of every spice known to man. Service is prompt with friendly staff, and prices are not through the roof. I don't know why I never noticed Milly's before this year. It has become our regular weekly place to visit. Thank you Staff for making the place enjoyable

The service was so friendly and quick, free flowing coffee kept coming, our server made sure we constantly had water and coffee! The food was so delicious. We had juevos rancheros and Milly’s breakfast without meat, with green chile. The food came out in under 10 minutes, and they were pretty busy at 10am, so that was quite impressive. We were just passing through but will definitely return when we’re in Albuquerque next. We left so incredibly satisfied. The prices are extremely reasonable for the value too!

Sat down and waited at least 10 minutes to be greeted. Brought drinks and then left. 10 minutes later no sign of the waitress..... She brings food to the table in front of us looking right at us and then goes back to the kitchen without a word. The table next to us had the same experience.. went to the front to pay for drinks and leave and not even an apology or nada... As we are going out the door a third couple that had sat down a few minutes before we left was walking out as well and said "since the other folks still had their menus and you are leaving we aren't wasting our time." You would think after last year a restaurant would at least be thankful for people coming out and trying to support them.... Guess not..... Never coming back...
We ordered cheeseburgers. The cheeseburgers were so burned and hard. Hockey puck is how I would describe them . We told the waitress and she offered to give us another bread for the cheeseburger. We ate what we could cause she didn’t seem to want to do anything about it. We still paid full price and still left a tip. We heard the next table complaint about the Chile was too hot for them to eat nothing done about that either. We usually go to Milly’s at least once or twice a week but maybe we will go somewhere else. Manager in the kitchen needs to be aware and observe his cooks. More training is needed in the kitchen. You can keep your dried up cheeseburgers.

The lunch hour is always busy so come a little early to get a good parking space.
Came in today February 1, 2023 around noon. We were told to seat ourselves and then waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. A waitress was sent to our table and she was very pushy for our order but we hadn’t even seen a menu. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered a chef salad. Both items were delivered to our table by another employee and the one that took our order never returned back to check on us. They were busy I get it but this place is far from something to brag about. When we spoke with the manager about what happened he didn’t seem to care about our experience. We will never come back. The greatest form of advertisement is word of mouth. You’re welcome.
I didn't have time to take a picture before I inhaled my country fried steak and eggs but I'll tell you what.... it was the best I've ever had at a busy family restaurant!! (Circa 2021) UPDATE: 4/4/23 I loved the country fried steak and eggs so much last time I had to have them again just to make sure... and what would you know!! They're still amazingly delicious... except this time I got you a picture

The food is great! Service has been great every time I've been there. The only drawback is the cashier with the long nails. She is rude as hell! Acted like she had to go out of her way to get me a piece of carrot cake. Would hardly look at me. I asked if she could break a ten so I could leave the waitress a tip. Never answered me, but did give me the change when I kept holding the money out toward her. Barely said thank you. And then they have cups for cashier tips? HA!!! NO WAY will I leave a tip for someone with that attitude!!!!!

I like to eat here at least once a month. The breakfast is always delicious! I enjoy the breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, or even the simple eggs and meat meal. I've stopped in once or twice for lunch and found I like their breakfast much more, especially in portion size. I've never been disappointed by breakfast and they have even gone above and beyond for substitutions and the occasional odd request. Seat yourself and pay at the counter, you'll never feel rushed. Also don't forget the desert!

MUST VISIT!! Delicious food! Awesome customer service! Easy on the pocket. Just looking around and seeing how regulars show up and have laughs with the staff and amongst each other is great. This should be on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Guy Fieri, if you see this, this place is a mist for your show. I loved it. I will definitely go again when in Albuquerque.

The wide open, self seating lends itself to being a bit cool inside and there was a wierd smell, kind of like natural gas? The service was prompt and our food orders were pretty quick too. My husbands bacon was cold and it was served on a chipped plate. My ham, fried up a bit and tasting good, went along side some lightly seasoned and light tasting, french toast. With butter, some sprinkled sugar, and warm syrup, it was a good choice. The coffee isn't super hot, but refills are plenty. They're set to be remodeled on a day soon.
I ordered a veggie omelet with fruit. The omelet came out missing half of the ingredients. The fruit consisted of brown strawberries and sour cantaloupe. We also ordered crispy hash browns that did not come out crispy at all, even after a second attempt. Speaking to the manager about these issues he was extremely rude saying they had been open for 40 yrs and NO ONE had EVER complained before. Highly doubtful. Maybe in another 40 yrs they can get their own menu down right.

Breakfast was delicious, hash browns were great, ham was just right, and pancakes nice and fluffy! My sister had the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich/fries but unfortunately it was too salty and had to be returned for a great burger, but they forgot the fries that had been ordered as well. The server did correct that quickly though. The server was very courteous and professional and the place was spotless. We will be returning and recommend Millie's

1:30 Lunch on a Wednesday. Large open tabled floorplan, somewhat sterile with two dusty corner plants. 33 tables, only 8 occupied. Unused patio seating. Service was abrupt and forgetful. Had the adovada burrito platter.. Red sauce was shallow, beans industrial, burrito simple but satisfying. Tortillas appear thinly commercial. Cheque check was right on. Average is the best I can do here.

One of the worst meals we've had. Waitress was unfriendly, didn't check on us, was surly when husband asked for water. Link sausages were VERY cold inside, couldn't get her attention to fix this. The rest of my food was also cold, barely edible. Other waitresses around room were friendly and attentive to their guests - ours was not. Sure wish we would have gotten her name.

Stopped in for a quick bite while waiting for a tire to be replaced on my RV, 10:50 and the parking lot was filled with cars with New Mexico plates so I knew it had to be a local favorite. I had the bacon cheddar burger with fries and my wife had the beef taco plate, everything was well prepared and tasted great, very reasonably priced, would not hesitate to come back.

Lived in Albuquerque for 12 years and ordered from this spot for the first time. NEVER AGAIN! Ordered enchiladas and they came burnt to a crisp and dry as hell....no chile. Ordered chile cheese fries and got no chile. Ordered a queso burger and got no queso. Seriously!?!?!?! And the ladies at the counter are a bit rude. Seemed bothered for a big order...my bad for trying to support local. I wont do it again. There are way better places to support here that will give you what you pay for.
One of the best breakfast spots in Albuquerque. We used to go to Weck's all the time and then my wife got sick from the location on Juan Tabo. Milly's has great table service and a terrific selection of popular breakfast choices. Don't forget to add New Mexico chile sauce. We like the location on Jefferson as well. Highly recommend Milly's to all our friends and family in Albuquerque.

Waitress was polite and timely. She did not check on us often enough, though. She gave us our food, checked in to see how it tasted, and gave us the check. We could have used a drink refill. Overall, no complaints. The food was okay. The burger was dry. Although the queso on the burger was delicious, there was a thin layer, not enough.

Hello to all, My best friend and I picked the Milly's on Candeleria for a change. It only took once to put Milly's at the top of our favorites list. Food is great. Gets to your table hot and so tasty. Haven't been dissapointed yet. The staff are curtious, friendly and very good at what they do. So, should you like a very well cooked meal, clean wholesome atmosphere and great service? Hit up Milly's on Candeleria, we're there weekly. Hugs to all. L. D. M.
Would have given 5 stars, except the waitress waited on someone who came in after us. She was pleasant though. The food was very good. Ordered the Adovado Omelette with a side of green chili. It was big enough to split. Lots of big chunks of pork to fill you up. Not overly spicy. It came with hash browns. We also split a French toast. Bread was light & fluffy. Breakfast for two $20. Not a bad value for a sit down meal. Would eat here again for sure.
The space is just a huge single hall with tables and additional outside dining space. The place is very local, so, you have to adjust - no one going to greet you - just seat anywhere you like. No sign or something helpful. The service is very friendly. But food is ok. I had breakfast tacos - quite good. Not excelente, but good. And Greek salad was terrible even on the scale of american salads. Overall, place is just ok. Not worth to visit.
We just moved into town and we're very excited to eat here. We came inside to the 'seat yourself' sign and sat down at an available table and proceeded to watch three other tables get their drinks and orders taken before us. I would suggest to the staff that if there's going to be a seat yourself sign they pay more attention to who has been served and who has not. We ended up just leaving and going somewhere else and no one even noticed!
I love Milly's. It is my go to place for breakfast especially if i want variety. The staff is absolutely great. They know how to treat customers. I had been going to another local breakfast place by old town called Los Compadres for about 10 years. They never once acknowledged me as a regular. I finally stopped going. The staff at Milly's acknowledges me and recognizes my extended family as well. The food is outstanding and priced fair.
This would be my first stop for breakfast if I'm traveling through Albuquerque again. Large portions of great food and the service was awesome. We arrived around 9:30 and even though they were busy we were able to find a table right away. They have good options for the kids and the regular menu has lots of options, including some unique local creations.

What was so good about this restaurant, and the food was great, was that the server left us alone because we ended up doing a business meeting and we were there after her shift finished. She never pushed us, she never bothered us, she left us alone and after all was said and done I left her $30 tip because we tied up her table. This was our first time at Milly's and it was amazing. They were very busy but we still got great service and the food came out quick. The best part was the green and red chili. It was spicy hot but not overly kill your taste buds hot. It is one of our new favorite places and will be going back for family meals again. Cannot wait too try more of their great dishes
Service and food were amazing!! We had a large party and we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was amazing as well!! She was attentive and also handled our large party with ease!! The Chile was delicious and seasoned nicely!! The fries were delicious! Kids meal was nice and their adult menu had a lot of options, hard to choose! We would definitely return!!
Never disappointed in the past 10+years. Love everything about this restaurant! If you’re new in town and want breakfast or lunch “Milly’s” is the place for you. It starts with the wonderful team workers to their delicious food. These owners know exactly how to run an extraordinary restaurant! Thanks to Annette our waitress and all the other fabulous workers!
This restaurant is so cheap they don’t even turn on the A/c in the middle of July. Went there 2 weekends in a row hoping the first time they may have had a issue with the A/C, nope they are just super cheap and want their customers to hurry up and eat and get out or don’t stay at all. It use to be a decent place to eat, not anymore.

The service was decent but the food was okay at best. Got the biscuits and gravy. My eggs were over-hard instead of over-medium, the gravy was pretty plain, and the biscuits were crumbly. At least the bacon was good and the food was cheap, but probably won't come back here.

They folks there are as sweet as could be. They truly are so nice. The food however is pretty basic and probably out of the freezer bag. Not saying it was a terrible experience, the chicken was tasty but certainly seemed to be out of the box. Would hope that since so much care was taken into the customer end, the food would be the same.
Milly's is very very good. Our first time. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and they were served the way my Dad used to make them. The red sauce is very tasty. My husband got a sausage burrito and he was very happy. We will definitely be returning!!!

Happened upon this restaurant by my misfortunes. Was a nice restaurant. Had a good atmosphere to it and made me feel at home. The omelette I ordered was good. Got em with the pancakes. One of my favorite breakfasts. They had a wide selection of things to eat on their menu. Look forward to returning to try some more comfort food!
We came to drop our kid off at UNM and have a habit of asking about local eateries when we travel. The hotel recommended Milly's for breakfast. Excellent choice. The Milly's Breakfast and Chicken Fried Steak were awesome. The service was friendly and helpful. Make sure you have time because you'll need a nap after eating there.
This food was BOMB! Seriously hit the spot. I wish I had one near my home in Houston. Service was A+ and the lady at the checkout counter was SO sweet. We had a good conversation and she was asking about our trip. Our waitress had joined in the conversation and gave us more recommendations. If you’re debating, just go here.
Business breakfast meeting. Quickly seated. Coffee was nothing special. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros. It was average. Quite a popular spot with largely older parties gathering to chit chat.

They still think it's Jim crow laws over here. Watching everyone get service before me. I had to leave. They didn't even try to make things right. Like hold on sir! Is there a problem? So I know Im not confused. It really does have the vibe in there. There menu looked really good though glad I didn't order nothing though.
When cashing out the lady staff serving the food kept pulling her mask down eating right in front of people’s food in the window!! Didn’t care at that point because I didn’t plan on going back (bland/Dull food) also seem like they favored the “regulars” more than unfamiliar faces! Definitely got food poisoning from here!!
This is an absolutely fabulous place the food was all outstanding the services friendly and very helpful and very fast. It is definitely worth more stars if you're in the area you should try.

Pretty good food except somewhat expensive. Always an upcharge to request a change to a plate. Biggest downside is that it is extremely noisy.

It's always loud there when its busy which you can't control. Waitress was preoccupied with all her tables. Waited for our drinks longer than norm because she had multiple tables. Maybe calling in order for take out is better.

Delicious beans, so you know it's a good New Mexican restaurant. Our server was very attentive and quick. I got the Rancheros and the lady got the breakfast enchiladas. Both were on , as was the coffee. The space was ample and employees wore masks. I'll definitely stop by again when in town. …
Menu is extensive and there's something for everyone. My Southwest skillet was good but just barely warm and the diced potatoes were overdone and hard on the outside. My husband had breakfast tacos and the flavors were outstanding. Prices were a tad on the high side. Wait staff was exceptional.
Stopped by for lunch and ordered a club sandwich w/fries. It was good but..had all the deli meat and stuff stacked in the middle of the sandwich where if you took a bite you are left with the ends of the bread.

Fantastic breakfasts! I had thr Denver Omelette with green chili sauce and it was delicious. My daughter had the biscuits & gravy and she said they reminded her of my Grandma'a!! Service was great. Ice tea was fresh brewed. I would definitely come back and recommend to others.
Great combination of New Mexican and American breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla was so good with green chilies cooked with the eggs. Bacon cheese enchiladas we great. Portions are really big. Prices were very reasonable.

Good food at a great price! You must try the Molly's Special Breakfast! Two eggs, any style, potatoes mixed with chunks of link and patty sausage, bacon and ham. Red or green chili over. (I prefer red) Tortilla included. Yum! Update: Still the BEST breakfast burritos in town!
Milly's is a great place for breakfast and the service is always pleasant. Alittle crowded but enjoy it when I find myself in Albuquerque.

Milly's Breakfast
Found this spot while passing through Albuquerque and enjoyed every bite. We had the French Dip sandwich, French Toast, and this AMAZING Breakfast Burrito! The service was wonderful and quick - which was great for getting us back on the road with full, happy tummies!

Best breakfast in Albuquerque. Friendly staff, fresh food and great prices. This down to earth eatery really hits the mark. I have become a regular at Milly’s after trying dozens of breakfast spots that serve good food with fantastic menu. Great job Milly’s

Great place for breakfast. I've never had lunch there but the breakfast is legendary. I've tried about 6 different items and they are all great. The chile is spicy but not too hot. Highly recommend but it can get busy so try to go at an off peak time.
Home cooking...great tasting and large portions. Great service obviously family run. Large menu, we are lunch and looks like their breakfast is even better. Salad with chicken was very good and huge, guest had a club sandwich and again big and tasty.
The staff makes you feel like family. Food is excellent and the service is right on point especially Christina. Best breakfast burritos in town.

We were passing through Albuquerque and had been having a pretty crummy experience with the town, unfortunately. Thankfully we stumbled across this gem! The woman that took our order over the phone was very polite and the food was so good!
This place has been around a long time, and for good treason. The food is excellent, the service is always friendly and fast. If you haven't been here, you have to come try it, it's a staple here in Albuquerque. Authentic New Mexican food
I rated the food because I got the food To go. My coworkers looks love their pancakes. I hate chicken fired steak on the breakfast menu. No complaints. Not a crazy awesome review...i think you are likely to enjoy the food.

I've gotten several different plates from this restaurant and have never been disappointed! They have a great variety to choose from. The last meal I bought was a "healthy" choice breakfast with egg whites and it was very delicious!
