Whose wife doesn’t want a day at the spa? So for a Christmas gift I got my wife a pricey package to Miraj. After some research on Spas in the Vancouver area, I wanted some relaxing, solitary and professional. Where my wife could just go and forget about her stress and problems, which are mostly caused by me. She was very excited to receive this package, and after some careful calculations around our busy schedules, booked an appointment around her Birthday. Booked this appointment months in advance I might add. As the date came closer, her excitement building, she was SO looking forward to a facial, relaxing massage and a lengthy hang out in the steam room. To which none of this happened. When she arrived, she was turned away, the manager had doubled booked the appointment. The disappointment in my wife’s eyes and voice,…. How could something like this happen?? They did offer her a later time, which completely doesn’t work as we had planned a meal after. I’m shocked that the manger had bumped her at all. She explained the commute from Coquitlam, the date and timing, and complete lack of professionalism. No offer of a refund even? Ironically Miraj has a cancellation policy, I am very upset about this and will be contacting the business tomorrow. UPDATE Got a full refund, plus wife got another appointment on the house. Which to be honest she still talks about. Too bad the first impression was so disappointing, and kinda of a struggle to deal with. I wasn’t contacted right away about it, I had to follow up and out Is was intended to be a plant treat/surprise. So I’ll change my review to from 1 to 3, seems fair.

To be honest, negative reviews were a little deterring at first, but I always wanted to try treatments at this place, so I went in. From the very moment I spoke with the receptionist on the phone booking an appointment, and till the very end of my visit, everything was excellent. The steam room and the full body scrub were fantastic. The treatment was performed by Sharleen (forgive me of I'm saying the name wrong), she was very friendly, and I must say a master of her field. After relaxing Hammam treatment, I was invited to a massage therapy with Irene. She was an absolute superstar, and after 60 min of full body massage and 30 minute facial, I've never felt so rejuvenated. Finally, I had fantastic time drinking tea in the Sultana lounge, it was just what I needed at the end of my spa procedures. The tea was delicious, served with a lightly sweetened biscuit, and staff was so kind to refill it with a fresh tea after I had my first cup. What can I say, I had an amazing Sunday early afternoon, and definitely will be coming back.

This place was absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They check up on you throughout your visit to make sure your needs are met. The intense steam was so refreshing. The scrub and the woman doing the scrub were amazing. My skin was so soft and hydrated. I had a 90 minute massage. The masseuse was amazing. It was one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Felt like jello. So relaxed and calm. I highly recommend this place. The lounge area after your service is clean and comfortable. The atmosphere and ambiance is warm. Best place to come and feel relaxed and to be treated like a king/queen.

Had the most wonderful experience at Miraj. Miraj is so carefully curated from the architecture to the decor. I especially loved the window grates. As for the actual experience: full body scrub, full body massage and steam room- each part of our experience was well thought out with so much attention to detail. I would like to give a shout-out to my masseuse Irenea, she was INCREDIBLE! One of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. Can’t wait to come back and share this experience with friends and family!

Lovely little place. Was smaller in square footage than I expected BUT that had no impact to the individual service rooms which were large and roomy and more than accommodating. The staff were very on the ball and provided exceptional service; not only in the ways of actual spa service but also ensuring I understood the process, was comfortable and had absolute confidence in the privacy of the process. Have been meaning to come for years, and am happy I finally got the chance.

First time here courtesy of my daughter as a thank you gift. I’ve been to spas in various places but this was a wonderful experience. From reception greeting us, our salt rub/steam then massage. This was the best experience I’ve had yet. Amazing. I have very sensitive skin but they were very attentive and I feel fantastic. I had to drive in rush hour home but I WAS SO CHILL and I am sure I’m going to have a beautiful sleep.

Great experience - I had the facial and massage package which ended up being 2.25 hours! The massage and facial were thorough but not rushed and it was a warm and welcoming space. Only complaint is that I was a bit cold being quite wet going from the hot steam room to the massage room, and through the massage. The hammam part was very unique and very refreshing, different than other spas I've been to.

Overall, this place was an okay experience. The idea of the Hammam is captured with great ambience. The spa is nice and clean. Having said that, the actual scrub was very short (5 min) and not thorough. We also had a 90 minute massage after the scrub and the masseuse was obviously new which led to an average massage, not a great one. For the price, I would only return if the service improved.

I’ve been coming here for years, the treatments make you feel like a newborn baby. The gomage scrub is so renewing, the steam room relaxing and Massage the best topper. Lovely setting be sure to be on time as the next reservation will be right behind you. Enjoy some tea and a treat in the Sultan lounge at the end of your experience. Parking is underground don’t forget to ask.

If I could give this spaa 10 starts rating, best believe I would. From the ambiance, the hammam spa and the massage services to their hospitality, it all made my experience beyond memorable. To Aniko at reception, Saba at hammam spa and Joy who is an experienced masseuse, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your greate services today. I will be back in no time.

What an experience! Absolute fell in love with the traditional morrocon atmosphere and the attention to detail. Great way to relax, get a good scrub and bond. Went for a mother daughter day definitely will never be forgotten :) The staff are extremely friendly and respectful. Make sure you visit the lounge after and try the sweetcake it has a hint of cardamom.

Such a fantastic hidden gem in the city. An oasis amongst the busy and stresses of the city. The staff were so lovely, professional and welcoming. The services in couple’s package left us with our skin glowing and soft, our bodies and minds relaxed. It was amazing. This is a top tier experience with someone or just a self care experience for you.

I went some time ago and it was a below average experience. If you've ever been to a real hamman, this is not it. It's basically a glorified stream room. The massage was way below average. For the price, I would have expected something with a bit more pressure (yes, I asked). It was clean, the people were nice enough but I'm unlikely to return.

This place is sooo lovely! They definitely captured the Hammam spa experience in the most luxurious and purest way. You should definitely try this place out! It is like no other and so unique! Robe, slippers and towels are supplied so you do not need to worry what you need to bring. Make sure you plan ahead and make an appointment!

Absolutely lovely experience! Husband and I were hoping to get the 90 min couples package but only able to get the 60 min which was still absolutely worth it!! Highly recommend! This is definitely the most fancy luxurious spa I've been to. I'd never experienced hammam before so that was a nice treat. There was a gorgeous comfy little area I got to relax in after with some tea and cookies. I would love to go back but it's a bit pricey for me and I had a gift card before.

I bought my mother a gift card here and she loved her experience. From the staff helping me during Christmas to the day my mother got her treatment, this place is awesome! Saba in the hammam and Irena with the massage. THANK YOU! We will be returning as a family when we are back in town.

Went once on my birthday and then again before my wedding, beautiful and serene space to get you away from the hustle hustle of life and just relax your body mind and spirit. The homage was very relaxing and cleansing, and I loved the eucalyptus in the sauna. Recommend!

Very friendly and attentive service, from reservation through to hammam and gommage. However I didn’t really get the point of the lounge area, and it felt very exposed to the street (passerby can just look in). The music played during the massage was very energetic!

The experience was wonderful -- we had the steam room and gommage first, then the massage. The masseuses were very experienced and I felt very refreshed after the session. Definitely recommend the sweet oil for massage!

Went for a bachelorette treat for a friend. It was delightful. The steam room was so beautiful. Everything felt well thought out and luxurious. We got massages and the body scrub and will definitley be back.

I am not happy with massage from Irwin (Ukrainian lady) , she didn't ask me for choice of oil , she didn't ask me for choice of pressure, it's like a very bad experience. However, Steam was great !
