Had 4 boxes and a bag of high quality merchandise valued at approx three thousand $$ (books, cds, dvds) to donate. Went in through the front as didn't know there was a side door, and was told abruptly by a miserable old lady that the bag and one box that I was carrying should have been taken to the side door. She took them with no smile and no thankyou and when I told her that I had three more boxes and would take them around the side, it was like I was really inconveniencing her and instead of getting thanks was met with peevish annoyance like it was all too much bother. Will never drive in from east Hamilton to Dundas again to donate anything to this ungrateful store, as have a few thrift shops close by - including Salvation army.

I would give it zero stars if that was an option! I have nothing positive to say about this location, staff is inconsiderate and rude. Their delivery driver in the yellow cube truck is not only inconsiderate and rude he has also been aggressive towards elderly women. ( Shameful!!) and I have watched on numerous occasions donations that have been brought to this location are then loaded on a truck and taken to value village so if you want to make donations I suggested bringing them straight to value village as this company obviously doesn't appreciate or deserve donations that are given to them.

I love the Mission Thrift Store. The people are wonderful. The prices are reasonable and fair and there is always a wide variety to choose from. I have shopped at the Mission Thrift Stores in Dundas, Hamilton and Brantford. I Prefer 2nd Hand stores because I like the ideal of reuse & recycle and I like the wide variety.

The diversity, quality, and price of contents is excellent, the hours are the worst things I've ever seen. Might be able to say more if I could ever go there, but due to it being only open 11-4 Tuesday to Friday I can't.

This is a great spot in some ways. Unfortunately, there are no change rooms and there is a new policy where they won’t do returns.
