I walked in the store and spoke to the manager (June 28/2019 around 6PM). I was hoping she would consider exchanging my safety boots I bought from the truck service. It had a cut on the side and I had it for a week and wore it 3 times. I'm sure that I just missed the slit when I bought it from the truck. I am a die engineer that checks the workers in the shop 15 minutes a day. To make the story short, right away, she won't consider an exchange because she thought that I have inflicted the damage myself. Why would I waste my time going to this location and do such antics (She made me feel like it was my fault that the boots are damaged). Not the kind of customer service I was expecting from a respected company. I tried to show her the receipt - her response, "I don't even know this truck driver rep. Ross". I would never go to this Scarborough location again. Her sarcastic politeness disgust me.

Last year's review : It was a smooth experience! To the lovely lady April, I really am grateful for the time and help that you showed me---it went (as I mentioned) really smooth. I did not wait for long...when you verify in your computer to confirm if I'll be able to have my company's safety shoes and you were quick in giving me the choices, correct sizes and style etc... If there's a 6 star I'll give it to you. These simple acts of accomdation that we costumers take for granted many times matters and they deserve to be appreciated. To miss April and to your team, kudos! A year later : 07/102023 This is my 2nd time coming to this place and I did honestly expect to be treated the same if not better than my previous visit and once again...thank you Nigel. You were very helpful and assist my needs in every way you can. Excellent work for the team that trains their employees very well.

Before I went to Mister Safety Shoes, I was looking for a specific kind of work boot for welding and couldn't find a pair in my size. I needed the boots ASAP. I was running out of time to find a decent pair, and I went to many locations and yet no luck. I called Mister Safety Shoes and a friendly employee named Saad picked up the phone and right away helped me find what I needed within minutes. I went in later that night and proceeded to try on my new boots, with Saad's help I managed to get a comfy boot that was at a very reasonable price. My experience was overwhelmingly positive thanks to Saad and his excellent customer service. Very kind and professional employee! This maybe long so bare with me.in July I went to Walmart and got some safety shoes because the ones I had started to me hurt me they where a size ten I won't get into detail about that. Long story short I got a new pair from Walmart size 11 high cuts frist few days seem ok.. until my leg ulcer reopen up won't get into that. Sorry I know I'm rambling on, I started to see mister safety shoes add all over Facebook and ig, saw that they had running shoes style..so I end up checking then out and the lady was so helpful with everything I tryed them on and they dident feel heavy or tight they felt good thank aging for everything. Wen it come to ur feet pay the extra money trust me.

I was in need of safety shoes as I am starting a new job that requires them. I haven’t worn/shopped for safety shoes in about 12 years and decided to shop at Mister Safety Shoes as they have a wide variety of high/mid/low/slip-on makes. I went in with the intention of buying one shoe and came out with something completely different all thanks for the help of April. She went above and beyond for me. I am a true size 9 but didn’t realize how different safety shoes are sized. April had no issue getting multiple sizes in same style until I finally settled on a pair. I will certainly advise anyone looking for safety shoes to go see April at the Scarborough location

We had a really nice associate help us, Maggie. She was really knowledgeable and explained why certain boots would not be appropriate for the job. She had mentioned she was fairly new but you wouldn't know by how she is. She was thorough, answered all of the questions and was right about the boots that we did purchase, they are great and do exactly the job she said they would. If you are looking for work boots, I would go there. I will be asking for Maggie in the future. I had purchased there before and this was by far this best experience with an associate. She knew how they would fit too. Helped us choose the right boot faster.

Few weeks ago i went into the store with a serious foot pain because of the safety shoes i was wearing. Reached a wonderful sales rep. by the name of Saad. Explained my situation with my boots and what i do and need it for and he showed me the options. I was worried at first that he was just trying to make a sale, but after trying a few option he recommended, i felt the difference right away. He sure knows what he is talking about, because the next day at work i was able to move as i was suppose too and pain free (more importantly ). Thanks Saad, for making my job feel less like a job. Cannot say enough nice things about the store. There were only 2 staff members at the time my husband and I went and they still both managed to help all the customers and be amazing. We had Terry help us. He was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. After a bad experience at marks work warehouse, this experience was refreshing. Terry was absolutely amazing helping my husband with everything. He knew all the information about each shoe my husband was picking up. We left there with a really nice pair they he recommended. Even though I have been to this store many times before, this visit was the best experience I have had. The sales person Mr. Saad was extremely helpful. He listened to my concerns about my feet took careful measurements and asked about how long I am on my feet all day and only after I answered his questions that he was able to recommend the proper footwear for the work I do. The shoes he picked were a perfect fit because he eliminated the pain I suffered for so long. Thank you for relieving the pain I lived with. I strongly recommend Saad to anyone.

Great place as a customer since most employee are knowledgeable and patient. However, stressful environment as an employee not because it's busy (that's a good thing if it's busy since more sales) but because people put up customer service voice for customers but for co workers especially new comers, they will treat according to their mood. If they are in good mood, everything amazing. When they are in bad mood, they will be sarcastic, bossy and commanding sometimes in front of customers. Makes it less fun and more stressful.

Great customer service.. came back here after 7pm, was greeted by a really nice young girl, curly hair just past her shoulders.. (Thanks again!) I didnt get her name, but she was fantastic and Very helpful. They have a better selection for womens workboots than Marks Work warehouse. I took a steel toe, Magnum brand, (the taller ones) with a cushy insole. Tip: take a half size bigger if you want that comfy insole, otherwise, it won't fit comfortably. My suggestion.. don't waste your time anywhere else, come here first!

I decided to come here after a distasteful experience at another local safety footwear supplier and was helped by Saad. He was friendly, patient and was able to provide me with the features and benefits of the several different pairs I was interested in trying. Saad was an excellent help in providing me recommendations as I had never really shopped for safety footwear prior. They carry a wide selection of shoes and boots and have details about where they were made, approximately how long they will last and what to wear in any environment. Staff are helpful and kind and can handle many customers at a time without pressuring you to commit to anything. Bought the new reebok blue in color Absolutely love my shoes... 3 months after my purchase the sole got damaged and started ripping . My shoes were replaced without question . Definitely worth the extra price. Safety and comfort . I can fully admit an electric pump truck . We used for tiles, weighting 4500 to 6000 lbs . Went over my toes with its wheels . The metal made a grinding noise. I didn't even feel it. No damage to my shoes Best safety shoes ever . With the comfort

I walked in looking for Timberland PRO size 11 boots. There was one staff member and he was helping somebody decide on safety shoes. I stood, waiting for 5 mins then asked if he could grab me a size 11 to try on. He explained that he was busy helping the current customer who was there before me, I said I just need to try the boots and if they fit I'm buying and he said well you can wait sir. Waited 5 more minutes and left. He cared more about an 80$ sale than a 350$ one.

I was there looking for new safety boots. The staff are very helpful so no knock on them. Unfortunately I have a wide foot. Usually 4EE in regular shoes so when saying that boots are "wide" when really they're not is very misleading. There is not enough selection for my type of foot. Literally a handful and that's it. **Just to add to this. I went back and did pick up a new pair of boots. The wide foot selection is still lacking but I appreciate the help from the staff**

I always shop here for work boots , the staff at this location is soo helpful and very polite , as a Trans female I was treated with the most respect and comfort from the manager as well as the staff and will always continue to support this store for it has met me with work needs and inclusive interactions , I highly recommend this store for there selections to as well very great products in comparison to other safety work were places , Thank you soo much !

I had an incredible experience at this location solely due to the excellent customer service provided by Nigel. They were so friendly and very knowledgeable about what work boots would best suit me and the site I work on (currently working in concrete formwork). I cannot express how delightful they made my time there. I was in and out in 10min and Nigel has definitely made a repeat customer out of me! They need a raise and a promotion ASAP! Thanks Nigel!

Just left the store. Lots of employees working, very willing to help. Leaves you alone when you need. I went in and stated what I needed exactly and Mr. Matt was extremely helpful. He was prompt in answering any of my questions and was in and out of the storage room like lightning--he certainly knows his stuff. Second time visiting. My last visit I walked away with boots that have only just now given up....five years later. There will be a third visit.

Matt was so helpful with the whole process. Called the store to check for womens safety shoes. Then when we went in store, we were greeted and directed to which section had womens shoes. I tried on shoes and Matt made great recommendations, ended up pick the ones he gave me first. No surprise thats the best seller. Also took care of me at cash and even a follow up email. I have been buying safety shoes every other year for the past 30 years. I recently visited mister safety shoes in Scarborough last week. Terry helped me to select the perfect shoe for the work I do. His knowledge and expertise is truly incredible. He knew exactly what I needed and fine tuned the shoes to a comfort level I have never experienced before. Visited the store for my first pair of safety shoes. Debbie-Ann who attended to me was very attentive and knowledgeable about the different products in the store. I normally get my shoes from the Mister Safety Shoe truck that comes to our work. But I happened to see this place while visiting the Chapters across the way. It was a good thing I decided to go inside. They have a very good selection (more that I had seen in the truck). Plus they have some other safety related supplies like jackets and work pants. Service was prompt and courteous.

I went to this Mr. Safety Shoes to obtain a pair of work boots as I had a voucher from work. They have a very informed group of staff that are incredibly helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this location for any of your labour work needs as they have a wide selection of items ranging from boots to pants and gloves. Will return whenever I need items for my work day.

I believe this is the best store for safety shoes in GTA area. The shoes have very new model. The staff is very helpful and keen on helping. Saad measured both of my feet and found my left foot is a little longer than right foot. They are so patient to let me tried different size and let me work around to have the feeling. I will go to the store next time.

Making return or exchange policies at the cashier at the last moment is not proper Plus when you want to exchange something with a cheeper price they still keep the difference of your balance And offer you some insoles that will take care of that gap and still pay extra dollars for it I used to buy from them all the time but not anymore Big disappointment

Got help from a man named Saad who was very kind and helpful, and left with great shoes. It was very stormy when I went but he made me laugh and told me to get home safely. I arrived 10 minutes before closing (a faux pas in the retail industry, I know) but Debbie Ann was so helpful in finding what I need. She pro-actively had a different size ready for me so that I didn't have to go back and search for it. I appreciated getting in and out of there quickly with exactly what I was looking for! I went to this store yesterday with my mom, who was looking to buy new safety shoes. The staff was very nice and helpful, particularly sales rep Saad. It is a good store with fair prices. The store is sufficiently staffed and they don't follow you around or hound you, but rather politely ask you if you need help after you had time to browse around. I was assisted by a pretty lady with an Irish accent who was very helpful and found what I needed quickly.

Great place to get safety shoes and other workplace safety gear. A large selection of safety shoes, you gotta check out the Reeboks. Hard hats, safety vests, and workplace clothes. The store is small but it is bright, clean, and easy to walk around. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, Riley was great.

I went here to buy some boots. I was helped by Graham who was one of the most enthusiastic and helpful people I have ever met. He gave me great recommendations for my specific needs and helped me pick out a great pair of boots. Will definitely be coming back here to get some summer boots as well.

I come to this location regularly to pick up anti-fatigue insoles for my shoes, great if you work on your feet all day. The price is great compared to generic padded insoles you can find elsewhere. The staff is always friendly, helpful and get me out fast.
