Really bad experience with Federica at Mitcham Physio. She forcibly tried to raise my bent leg immediately after I’d told her I couldn’t do it, resulting in pain in my lower back. She then insisted I have acupuncture and when asked, couldn’t explain what the long term benefits of it were. Finally, she gave me a list of exercises to do that I’ve already been doing for the past 6 months and when I raised this, quite rudely commented / joked I couldn’t have been doing them properly. Received an apology the next day from a manager, however being told the therapist was less empathetic due to illness and that moving my leg without any consent is a normal part of the treatment didn’t help - I’d avoid at all costs!

Took my son who has autism to have his legs looked at as he was getting extreme pain in his calfs when he walked,the physio was brilliant with him made him feel at ease. They discovered that he has has flat feet and showed him what exercises to do him they also showed me what insoles to get him that will help with his walking. Would definitely recommend mitcham physio they were great, really friendly was seen on time which was a bonus as my son hates waiting and gets anxious around people absolutely brilliant experience.

Rang for the earliest appointment available to treat a chronic not acute bad neck and back with a multi modality therapist at Balham Carshalton or Mitcham but they never came back with an appointment. I am sure the professionals are very good so keep an open mind but never got a chance to try one. Station court is walking distance from me. Got a same day appointment at Naturcare Cheam.

Mitcham Physio is a top-class clinic with an incredible ethos that uses the Rehab My Patient exercise prescription tool to send exercises to patients. Great job team.
