It's a nice franchise. -usually clean and well stocked. I've met the owner, JD and his wife are nice folks. They are often understaffed IMHO. Some times they run out of the really BIG gulp cups. no biggie. Nearly all of the staff are just terrific, with the exception of "joe" I thought it was joe martinez, or joe Montez. I don't know. The man is a thief and a god damned liar. He tends to pop up at several locations, so my guess is he's a corporate manager. but 7-11 corp say no. Maybe he's a total fraud. He was wearing this super old 7-11 shirt last time. PERHAPS HE DOESNT WORK THERE. What ever. he ruins it. Just drive to HEB, or fuel up at the shell 1 mile south.

It's not a bad place, but there are quite a few homeless that hang out out in front of the store which could make people feel uncomfortable. Majority of the time they're really friendly but their workers in the location don't force them to leave instead they allow them to hang out. That could cause a disruption to the business even cost a business because people do feel uncomfortable going into the location where the homeless are hanging out and asking for handouts

It's across the street from my apartment complex. The best time to go at night is probably 230 to 430. Club traffic is down and homeless haven't shown up to meet you at the door coming out asking for a smoke from the pack the saw you just get and the change they saw you just received. I'm not without empathy. But in a pandemic my bubble or pod is me and the cat. Not Someone without a mask sneezing nearby. Just saying

Probably my go-to gas station downtown, mostly because they have an air pump machine that can gauge what your tire pressure is so you don't have to bring a manual gauge. It'll start beeping if the air being put in your tires exceeds what you've designated, which makes adding air to tires more or less effortless.

Great friendly veteran owned service. Can’t believe they great and treat everyone like family. I have been going here for the past 14 years. My twins would get a donut here everyday before school. The owner would set their chocolate donuts aside just for them. My boys will be 18 years old.

Very nice polite cashier at that late of a night. Always love entering a place where it is clean and fully stocked. The cashier deserves a raise for all her hard work I'm sure it's not easy to deal with alot of the people she gets who come in at late hours of the night/morning.

I go to the 7/11 store, every other morning, because it is right by my job, I have a 7/11 card so I use it alone, I shop at 7/11 just like if it was HEB. I can buy and get anything I need and want there. Breakfast lunch snacks drinks. So I'm in and out and no time.

Pulled in to get some gas and a drink. Pretty easy to get in and out which says a lot based on the location on Lamar! Lots of space to park or get gas. Typical convenience store but clientele is a bit more eclectic based on location.

Shift change at 10 minutes past 5am and no pumps are working. Seeing a lot of morning traffic already flowing in and no one can be helped until the changeover is complete. Just terrible.

Rude staff . Refused to let me use the bathroom . The heavy dude said goto starbucks . They don't deserve my business any longer . They could have let me use the employee potty.

The employees don’t wear face masks even though they make the customers wear them. They say the restrooms are out of order but they aren’t.

Not bad but I'd rather go to a Real Gas station keep that in mind. Walmart or Sam's club affiliates, just go to a Chevron or Texaco. ✔

7-11 is my convenience store choice. Out of the five or six I normally go to an Austin this one seems to be the best.

Always clean restrooms and best prices by far on gas so close to the city. Food options are usually pretty fresh.

Best ice ever. Deals on Gatorade which is so necessary during this heat wave in Austin. Very friendly staff

It's my local gas station, they do a good job of keeping it clean and decently stocked

cash only in small letters makes this more expensive than other nearby stations.

Only real negative is it is hard to go south on Lamar due to construction .

Clean, well staffed, and easy to access. Same products, moderate prices.
