I think I should’ve listen to the bad reviews. Worst customer service! It was my cousin’s birthday and she was visiting us from out of town and I wanted to Surprise her with a permanent bracelet. We went to Modandjo because I heard good things about this place but I think they lied. The sales associates was rude and unfriendly. She had black hair. We enter the place and nobody greeted us. She told us that we had to wait 45 minutes and we agreed to that. My mom went back and checked the waiting list and another group was asking for the permanent bracelets too. The sales associates told my mom that she now had to wait another hour because that group (that wasn’t even on the waiting list) was going to be helped first. My mom asked her why if we were first on the list and they literally just got there and she didn’t even have an answer for that. The lady who did our permanent bracelets was nice and we have no complaints about her but the other one Gosh! We are spending a lot of money to get bad treatment ??? Anyways, never coming back to this place and I will try to find another place where they treat me right!

Alright. So I’m a guy that didn’t use to wear jewelry, and yea… I do now. We’ll get to that in a second. Mod and Jo has been a top pick for an easy win with my wife for years now. It’s effortless picking a piece because the curation here is so spot on and always trending. The range of options and value has been consistent and VERY HIGH since this shop used to be online only. The fact that they’ve opened such a beautiful store is such a plus and in the middle of such a happening district in Dallas. Ok, now the reason for the review. The permanent bracelet is the most consistent thing in my life now. It literally lives on my wrist. Just like the entire collection the piece feels effortless and goes with everything. I’ve had it for a little over year and it still looks great. I’ve added a couple of necklaces (with extensions they’ve provided) as well and I’m really feeling the look. Long review, but to recap - high quality, great staff, beautiful space, delivers options for both my wife and myself.

I had a disappointing experience working at this jewelry store. Throughout my time there, I often felt like an outsider, not being shown the respect and inclusion that should be expected in a workplace. The environment was cliquish, which made it challenging to connect with some colleagues and HQ members. What bothered me the most was the lack of acknowledgment from management. They rarely greeted me, and it seemed like they didn't care about my presence or employment. On my last day, I didn't receive a proper farewell or any communication regarding my severance, which left me feeling undervalued as an employee. Overall, my time at this jewelry store was marked by a lack of respect, inclusivity, and communication from management, making it a disappointing work experience. **Update: continuing to still disregard my experience in their reply… showed proof of being ignored and immediately being removed to founder and her response (still) lacks acknowledgment of accountability**

So disappointing. I purchased a large order from Mod & Jo as a first time customer. They sent me someone else’s order and customer service refused to remedy the situation or offer any help for the inconvenience even though I had ordered some of the pieces for a special event and due to the mix up I wouldn’t have the jewelry in time. My actual order arrived late. One of the small hoop earrings in the pair I purchased arrived with the clasp broken so it doesn’t stay in my ear and I cannot wear them. Two of the ear studs I purchased for my tragus and forward helix both fell out completely within 3 weeks of getting them put in by a professional. I haven’t had that happen before with good quality jewelry. The one necklace I got I love and it looks great but it’s the only piece that hasn’t broken or fallen out. I’d look elsewhere for jewelry if you’re looking for good quality, I won’t be ordering from them again.

you guys have terrible customer service. My daughter and I were excited to buy the bracelets but the person who was at the front desk has no manners because she never greeted us, and she never gave us information about the service they offered about the bracelets, for me there was discrimination racial, told us that the clients they were serving would take 45 min. that she was going to send us a message and I arrived before 45 minutes and there was a group of 6 people and when I got in she turned to me and said, are you going to have to wait another hour and I asked her why? She replied that it was because that group of people was there and I told her no, that I had arrived earlier and that I was on the list. Please, for such a beautiful place and where people want to experience something as sentimental as a mother-daughter memory, it is not worth having that kind of person who discriminates against people.

I wish I had read the reviews first but after going through them I agree honestly with the bad reviews.They don’t greet or smile at you unless your white. I went to the front where there were two women standing talking to each I was ignored even after I waited for them to finish talking like I was a annoying fly. After clearing my throat and asking for assistance they finally acknowledged me and my grandmother. My grandmother who is deaf had questions that were ignored and the way she waved her hand towards the jewelry options and walked away was enough for me and my grandmother to get the hint and go elsewhere and I’m glad we did we received better care and they had better options to choose from.Mod +Jo employees were very rude and unprofessional and I don’t recommend them at all.

I am in love with everything in Mod + Jo! I came down to Bishop Arts to explore this super cute up & coming area of Dallas and discovered this great jewelry store! They have such an amazing selection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, so many styles I’ve never seen anywhere else! (And their prices are incredible.) I love jewelry and I can tell that these pieces are well made and of excellent quality materials. This is not fast-fashion. They also have a big selection of chains for the new permanent bracelets/anklets. It was hard to decide so I bought two! The people working in the store are so nice and helpful! It shows that they all love working there and are proud of their store. Oh, they also have candles and nail polish but I didn’t have time to look at those. Next time!

Went with my friend 1 week ago to get permanent bracelets. The workers were not very friendly, and gave no instructions following having our bracelets placed. Within the week we have had them, both of our bracelets have become loose and very dangly. When we called to ask if we could get them resized, we were told there would be an extra fee on top of the $100 we already spent to have them placed. We were told that the gold is soft, therefore the bracelets can stretch. If we were given these precautions while in store, we likely would of been more careful or known what to expect. Overall not a good experience, and very disappointed in the customer service. Not worth the money we spent.

I love all my Mod + Jo jewelry! There is a reason I have collected so many pieces from them. Not only are their pieces stylish & timeless, but it is so affordable without compromising on quality! I have shopped for many gifts here and they are always a hit! My mom especially loved the "momma" necklace I got for her for Mother's Day. I even got my brother to start shopping there for his girlfriend. It's also fun to stop by the store on Saturday's to experience their piercing events that are hosted each weekend. I have now gotten pierced 2 different times, and the customer service is outstanding! Cannot say enough good things about Mod + Jo!

My sister and I recently visited Mod and Jo and had a bad experience. The employees are incredibly rude. An employee was fixing a piece of jewelry and told another employee “you do it.” To which she responded “I don’t know how to do that, you do it.” That’s so unprofessional. My sister and I were completely ignored for 30 minutes after multiple attempts to be assisted. We weren’t asking for much, we just wanted to see a bracelet that was in a display case. This was supposed to be a fun experience but the employees made it awkward and uninviting. If you want to go here for a fun experience, don’t bother.

Couldn’t be happier with all of my jewelry from Mod & Jo! They have proven to stand the test of time and I wear my pieces on a daily basis. Pricing is affordable yet great quality (other jewelry I have bought elsewhere at this price point has discolored or have gotten lost from closures loosening over time). All of my hoop earrings are wardrobe staples but also have fun ones to switch up for special occasions. I always get compliments and recommend Mod & Jo to everyone. I wished I lived in TX to visit the store more often, I couldn’t recommend enough and will forever be a returning customer!

The wait was awful, but that wasn't my main issue. One of the sales associates looked very annoyed because I asked for help on a pair of earrings. She was a brunette and was handling the piercing event. Customer service should always be a priority if you want returning customers. It's also concerning to see several bad reviews on customer service. Had I known this prior, I would not have gone. There was no how can I help you it was more as if she didn't want to be there or be bothered . If that's the case, why work in an environment where you see customers every day?

I have worn my Kat Chain Hoops nearly every day for a year and they still look perfect. I always have such a positive experience when I shop there. Absolutely love this store! My permanent bracelet has never had any issues and still looks brand new, even after a year and a half!
