As the great Nelson Mandela said: "it always seems impossible until it's done." This quote embodies the disgust I faced after leaving Moda Night Club. I did not think there could be a place so foul in all the world, yet the seemingly impossible became the unfortunate reality. Upon entering the front area, myself and thirty other people were swiftly kicked out, only to wait in an outside line for thirty bone chilling minutes. The security barked harsh orders at us to 'move back' or 'line up straight' lacking respect and human decency. Eventually, I was harshly shoved inside only to be met with a pat down and a 5 DOLLAR MANDATORY coat check. The woman in charge of storing the coats was extremely slow, and because of this, a large mass of people began to fill the narrow entrance of the club, slowing entry to a crawl. Once I finally entered the dance room, I was immediately met with a musty, gut renching odour. People were crammed onto the slippery dance floor with hardly any room to move. But that wasn't the worst part. Aimed directly downwards from four separate corners were sub-woofers so massive, they literally shook the floor. This, combined with the smell and flashing lights, created a stomach torture exercise like no other. The music was so unnecessarily loud that it took any remaining hopes left in me and literally blew them to hell. In fact, it was so physically impossible to hear anyone, that people resorted to texting in order to carry out basic communication. Yet it was the content of the utter blasphemy emitting from the audio system that truly ruined the night. The incomprehensible moanings of Tekashi 6ix9ine was the soundtrack of my down bringing, each booming high-hat sending chills up my spine. The regrettable series of events became all the more regrettable when I was savagely back handed across my face by a daunting figure behind me. I could not make out who commited this act through the shrill screaming of the masses and thumping of capping kick drums, but at that point it didn't matter much. To describe the scene as a warzone would not do it justice, but rather a blurry, multicoloured nightmare. As I finally stepped into the cool night and took a breath of relief, the past phenomenon faded away into the breeze, leaving only sharp ringing in my ears and a story to tell.

NEVER CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY OR SPEND MONEY AT MODA!!!!! My friend recently celebrated her birthday at Moda and it was a complete mess from beginning to end. First off, they double booked her booth and literally put her in a section that was right beside their kitchen even though she booked a booth in the upper level. Let me remind you, it was her actual birthday that night so after giving them a hard time, they had to move her to where she wanted to be seated and promised her a complimentary champagne for messing up the booking. Even though she had a booth, they made everyone do coat check (which I have never experienced) and gave two of her friends who came a little after a hard time getting in. The bottle service girl sucked and was literally never seen again for the rest of the night after she brought out the alcohol. My friend also brought a cake that was supposed to be served at 1:00 AM. When 1:30 rolled around, she reminded them to bring the cake and champagne out together by no later than 1:50 because they cannot serve you after 2:00 AM. Of course they never brought it out by 1:50 so my friend had to physically go to the back and find a person to serve her the champagne and cake ON HER BIRTHDAY. At this point, it was approaching 2:15 AM so they didn't want to serve the cake (AFTER THEY WERE THE ONES WHO FORGOT TO SERVE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE) and said that they are no longer serving her the complimentary champagne either, even though they owed her one for messing up the booking of her booth.They tried giving her a voucher for free champagne on her next visit but she she didn't even take it because she is never going back. If you want better service and a better time, I suggest sticking to the clubs you know in downtown Toronto. Moda's service, staff, management and crowd is whack. Think twice before going to or planning any type of event at this "club".

Honestly this club isn't the worst but it's as well far from good. I'll begin this review with the cons. Con #1 The bouncers : have no standard for entrance policy. If you are on guest list they will mostly likely prioritize people that are there friends/affiliates. I had to wait in line because of this flaky line policy. The bouncers as well have no regard for your concerns or opinions regarding conflicts. They see themselves as the law and Will NOT reason with you. Con #2 FloorSpace: The booths in this club pertrude so far out of the club that you barely have space to walk. The dance floor is less of a dance floor and more of large isles between the booths. This makes for a bad experience for both booth patrons and regular patrons. Con #3 Watering down alcohol: I suspect that they water down there alcohol. I suspect this based off the fact that they pour there liquor from the same taps that release juice and pop (just really sketch and weird) and also the tequila shots that I had tasted watered down. Con #4 The Crowd: the crowd is very roudy and has almost zero respect for personal space. I understand that this is a nightclub and people are drunk but overall people are more annoying that other clubs I've been too. Pros #1 Location: If you want a decent club experience without going downtown this is the club for you. It has the normal elements of a downtown clubs. Overall this club was a decent experience but I don't think I'll ever go back. There are way to many downsides associated with this place. The bouncers have a serious power complex.

I have definitely made the best memories and have had the best club experiences at moda. The club was recommended to me by my cousin and ever since I have been enjoying going out here every weekend. Starting from the helpful security team, Reno, rolando, juan, david are very professional and take their job seriously to make sure everyone is safe, the line also goes by pretty fast outside. The ambiance of this place is very nice and the music is amazing whether you go on a Friday which is more hip hop and trap or a Saturday when it’s mostly Latin, the music is phenomenal and always keeps the crowd hype from start to finish. The bartenders and bottle girls are very nice and the booths are always taken care of and cleaned efficiently. The crowd is very energetic which makes the club super fun I enjoy my experience everytime I go and I recommend this club to all my friends and they love it too. Overall amazing experience at moda.

The dj wouldn't stop talking. The music selection wasn't the greatest. Every time he had a good song by the time you got up to dance to it, he already changed the song which was really disappointing. You could smell ppl smoking weed inside. There was a lot of fog to the point where you couldn't see what was in front of you and you would choke because of the amount of fog. The change in the type of music (ex: salsa, bachata, etc.) was not done very smoothly, there were time my dance partner and I just stood there trying to figure out what was being played next. The dance floor was small and crowded (we kept bumping into people every time we were on the dance floor). It was my first time at this club however, I don't believe I will be returning.

I had a good night last night but that's just because of the company I had. This place is weird and I don't think I'd ever go back. We only went because my sister won the Z103.5 contest which came with a booth and bottle service for free. If you bring a jacket , you better also bring change. You are not allowed to bring your jacket in or grab it from a smoke. You have to coat check it . You also have to leave your lighter in a tin at the front and grab and drop if you go for a smoke. So don't ever bring a nice lighter Service was ok. Glad we were tucked away in the both. Some sketchy guy stole the remaining of our champagne and ran. The music was mediocre at its finest. This place needs some help and adjustments.

We went there saturday night ,security at the door was so rude and they were ver aggresive and poked my eye as he pushed my face away. we were not being aggresive and the security guard had no right to take the action that he did. i will not recommend this estbalishment to anyone. the owners need to better take care of their business, and the supervisor of security Chinese guy he just continue to ignore us and push me away he didn't try to make problem solved why!? Just Cuz be drink some alcohol and he didn't so mean we don't understand what's happening, sorry but i have to say that to you you are not right person to be supervisor .

I gave it one star because this place its not so nice after all, it's ghetto. To start. I read the bad reviews but still wanted to give it a shot. To start the night I ordered a tequila and a Corona, it cost 17, I gave the bartender 20.00 and she never gave me my change back. That's a thief. I do tip and I was going to but she just kept it. The crowd ....well not the clasiet, younger crowd 20-25 mostly drunk. We were going to reserve a bottle service but thank god we did not, would of been a waste of money. Music was ok, a mix of Latin, Rap that night. And don't dress to impress, crowd wasnt.

Do not believe All these negative reviews on here I have been going to moda every Saturday since June of 2018 and have not experienced any bad night with the staff or security at the club, comparing to other clubs I’ve been to moda has amazing prices for booths and bottle service from what you would get at any other club in Toronto, both the owners are very understanding gentlemen and will go beyond and Above for any request that you will ask them eather if you are a promoter there or a guest. Amazing venue best staff ever ! If your looking for a place to go Saturday nights this is the spot !

Best Club in Toronto staff was very friendly and very accommodating never had my table left empty or unclean. Even when it got packed the bar staff did a great job of keeping the area clear and kept the drinks coming! Security was beyond professional and the two girls at coat check along with the secuirty who is at the coat check entrance was very handsome and funny and was very professional when ever we needed help he had us covered. I would like to thank Reno and Hesham for keeping us safe as well as Ali for answering all of our questions. Can't wait to come back.

The worst place I have been to! Security takes the cake they are simply disgusting ppl. Management doesn't even care . The best part is, you don't have to do anything to get treated worst then animal. Just because they feel like it... If you are wicket and like to be treated with disrespect do come here .. it is the best place for that, that I guarantee! Reservation, don't even bother, by the time you go believing you have the bottle service reservation, since you made one, two weeks prior to the night you'll see something else coming. Again, the worst place to go!

I used to come to this club all the time in the summer on Fridays. The Security, the dj, the staff, the atmosphere was amazing. It was exciting to go, we used to go all the time, but recently when we go now, the club looks better with new lights and special effects, but the music is terrible, the Dj's play music and no one dances. The staff isn't as friendly as they once were, it feels like being in an expensive car, they put cheap gas in. Gonna try their Saturday nights, but probably will never go back on Fridays. They really ruined the party...

This is a very small night club that's often over packed. The average age is 19-23 with a very immature crowd that can't hold their liquor. The music mix is okay but the DJ cuts most songs far too short. Liquor pricing is average, security is good although not the most observant, and there is ample parking. Beyond the club there is virtually nothing within walking distance, especially in the winter. In a nutshell, it's a nightclub that's squeezed into a commercial-industrial unit in a suburban industrial environment.

A 2 star rating on this club is a compliment. Came here for the first time on a saturday with a group of friends, had a booth and wanted to leave within less than an hour. This place is filled with 18 year olds, old men and is half the size of a highschool gym. Asked for a rum and coke, couldn't taste any alcohol, just coke and ice. Watch how they make your drinks! With Luxy's being 10 min away, you'd have a better chance there. Biggest waste of time. Save your money. Don't make the mistake we did.

If you have bottle service expect to wait in line outside in the winter while ppl without guest list walk right in. page says free before 1130 for ladies but they still make you pay and are very rude about it. Coat check is MANDATORY even if it's a small thin jacket that's part of your outfit and it's freezing inside. We have a booth, why can't I put my jacket in our booth if I'm hot? Also saw lots of girls walking in after me with winter parkas and they didn't have to check them.

Worst club experience ever. We paid 400 + for a booth and the liquor was 100 million percent watered down, you couldn’t even smell the alcohol in it. A friend of mine got pushed into a girl dancing at the booth beside us, he grabbed her waist. Apparently it was the owners friends booth (regulars) so some of us got kicked out without contestion, and apparently it happens a lot. No smoking pit, congested coat check/lineup. It blows my mind that a Toronto club could be this bad

Went here on Saturday August 25th, 2018 with my wife. Terrible place. Drinks are way overpriced. Also we had some drinks here that felt very watered down. That’s truly pathetic for the insane prices you pay at this place. My wife is Latin and we wanted to go here to experience a great Latin vibe. She was extremely disappointed by the ambience here and said this not a true Latin club experience. All I can say is avoid this place...it ain’t worth it.

Went here for the first time on a Friday night because my friend won a VIP booth birthday package from z103.5. We were shocked that coat check was mandatory ($3), our jackets weren't even thick and bulky, they were light bombers. Then turns out you're not allowed to pour bottles directly into people's mouths, which I thought was a strange, we were having fun. Music was okay, it was mainly soca and top 40s. I would not return here again.

I went here once and after that I couldn't stop going I probably went every other weekend for a straight six months and ended up celebrating my birthday there which was so amazing. I had the time of my life and I have yet to have a better birthday than the one I celebrated their. The female dancers are great the bartenders are so fantastic, they always have killer performances and the atmosphere over all is wonderful.

Often gobto Moda with a couple of friends on Saturday nights.This nightclub is always lit and has great music. The atmosphere is very nice and has a clean, modern vibe. The only bad thing I can say about this club is that the drinks are pricey for the amount you get. The staff was friendly and professional. If you like Spanish music then this is the joint to go to on the weekend!

I did booth/bottle for my birthday & planned ahead of time. When we get there, the waitress told me it was an ADDITIONAL $60 from the original price that was discussed. I didn't like that but I went along with it & very GENEROUSLY tipped her only to have her come back & tell us we owed her $10. The music was good & stuff but the service was extremely disappointing.

This club can be really awesome one night and really lame another night generally unless it's some special occasion Friday are "Top 40" Hip hop RNB Soca Reggae and other Throwbacks. Saturdays dress code in effect Spanish Night any and all Hispanic music all night with maybe a mix of lite Hip Hop. However go here on a Saturday most live.

I love the music and atmosphere But when I came to ask for my booth The security gard was very rude and arrogant Becait was loud I was asking him about my booth and I keep saying ya He kept correcting me "yes" and rolling his eyes. When I first pulled up to the club it was sketchy and staff was immediately rude, they wouldn’t let me inside because I had a hat on…. So I went to put the hat back in the car and then they denied me to go in… even thought I had already paid… robbed and didn’t even get to enjoy the night. Wouldn’t come back

Music was the only good thing about this place.. The bottle service is not what you pay for. V.I.P. means the booths on the dance floor and line bypass still means you need to wait in line? with mandatory coat check? really after getting a booth? in addition has a very small dance floor.

Fun spot and a change from downtown. It feels like they are 15 years behind. Security is very rude and aggressive. Sound system is very poorly setup. From the corner we were at you could barely make out the song and nothing was consistant. Good one time experience but that's about it.
