Really solid company. Great and smooth experience from the first contact with Marina, that picked up my call to the actual moving with Dan. Very professional. Modern Movers took the stress out of our move! Karina was brilliant and very quick to arrange everything. Asher, Emanuel and Imran arrived with loads of energy and a positive attitude, and worked tirelessly even though it was 31 degrees outside! They were lovely and understanding when our dog went a bit mental because of the noise and just dealt with everything brilliantly. All our stuff was moved at great speed and with great care, including our ridiculously heavy filing cabinet. No accidents, no damage to anything, all furniture perfectly reassembled in the new house. I had booked another company to move but they screwed up 2 hours before my move and thank my lucky stars I found Modern Movers on Google. The quick job allocation (within 10 mins of me calling them), value for money and the moving staff (Emadul & Lou); I could not have asked for a better screw up by the previous company. It was a breeze engaging Modern movers from start to finish. Emadul and Lou were extremely professional, efficient and sorted me out better than I could have asked for! I needed help with moving home last week and found these guys a very last minute. Not only they were accommodating, they managed to find an earlier time slot. Imran and Co arrived just on time and were super careful with moving stuff. They also had fixing equipment in the van, so I didn’t worry about furniture being damaged while moving. I also got a new carpet fitted in the new place and was pleasantly surprised when the guys took their shoes off without me asking. Overall fantastic work and I will certainly use their services again!

Extremely quick and efficient service. They handled everything with care and put everything where you wanted them to be. When I had made a booking, there were two movers, Malik and Imran who were unbelievably exceptional with their service and were nice people too. If anyone would like to make a booking, I'd suggest to ask for them two. And all this was made possible through Marina who constantly clearly communicated with me over the phone to sort everything out and kept things simple

I contacted Modern Movers at the last minute to do a removal of items in storage, as someone else had let us down. To my amazement they were able to offer us a slot the very next morning. The move went better than we could have expected and was completed within 2 hours. Both the driver (Imran) and the helper (Emmanuel) were very pleasant and professional and the van was very large and clean. I would definitely recommend and would use again!

We found them online by chance as the usual removal company we used twice before was not available. We were not quite sure about Modern Movers in the beginning but after the job was done we were overjoyed! Malik and the team were amazing. He’s very professional and so efficient! I think if we went with any other movers, it would’ve taken twice as long. He knew how to move each piece of my furniture with care out of storage and into my new home. This was my second time hiring Malik and his team and have no doubt I would use him again.

Malik was amazing, managed to squeeze every inch out of the Luton Van and was efficient and friendly. He also packed everything really neatly into storage, working quickly to unpack in less than an hour. Modern Movers charge by the hour so you don't have to list out all your worldly possessions. Would definitely use them again!

Professional and very helpful, Imran and his colleague made moving less stressful. They are organised and efficient. They had a lot of stuff to move, they dismantled and rebuilt an ottoman bed, which is time consuming. They done an excellent job, I would highly recommend.

Maleek and Jamie were fantastic! Everything was securely loaded into the van, and furniture dismantled and re-assembled with ease. When we needed a 2nd van at short notice, Maleek was able to arrange this swiftly. Great service at a fair price. Highly recommend.

Whilst I didn't book them myself, someone who was having our Piano hired them. Very friendly guys who took time and patience to move an upright piano. Ensuring not to damage our floor or the piano! Would definitely hire them when we move in the future!
