I was in a hurry for a wisdom tooth that was giving me trouble due to being military and having to report the following weekend. I wish I had time to shop around before making my decision cuz believe it or not, theres dental places that care about you and your well being. Not all the staff was rude but majority of them got rude when I started asking questions. Which they'd give me different answers with attitude like im not supposed to ask anything or expect any effort of comfort on their end, and just hand over my money. Mind you, I wasn't being rude, not once. I was only being assertive but I was still respectful, always "yes ma'am" and "thank you ma'am". I was told I'd be fine in a matter of days but life happens and I got an excruciating pain. I couldn't move my jaw to talk or eat and my head/ears/jaw/neck ached something awful. Made an appointment and find out the day before Im supposed to report, that I have something called dry socket, its exposed bone and nerves. I got a slab of some gel stuff and was being sent on my way. Well, wait a minute, you're not gonna prescribe me anything for the pain? Or some sort of ointment atleast to help? Hell I couldnt even get a doctors note excusing me from my military work without making a fuss about it. Excuse me, I can't even open my jaw, what's the foul in writing a doctors note to return Monday? Is it gonna affect YOUR job to write down on a piece of paper? Cuz it'd affect MY job if I didn't have that piece of paper. I've never experienced a business like this. Go somewhere where the staff is polite and your treatment is outstanding. Not here.

Well to start ive all ways hated the dentist sense i was 11 years old due to me feeling the pain when top wisdom teeth were extracted. (From a diffrent denstist office)So i was so skeptical to go to monarch just cause i was worried about it happining again.... I ended up going to get my bottom wisdom teeth removed with a deep cleaning... The staff there is so nice and comforting, paper work is easy to understand. explaing guide lines,compilcation, issues that could happen.. I aboustly love the print that said "this form is not meant to scare you" its meant to give you awareness about what gunna happen or could happen... Then when I got called to the back nicest male Dentist assasiant prep me even cover me so i wouldnt get cold, put the laughing gas on. Stood there and chated with me after i told him i was super nervious he reassured me i wasn't going to feel anything and i trusted him.. Started to relax i gently gall into sleep waking up. To them sitting next to me saying "your all done." BY ALL MEANS THEY RESTORED MY FAITH IN NOT BE SCARED GOING TO THE DESTINST .. I00% recommend them... If your SCARED of the dentist dont be cause Monarch dental gots your back and you wont feel a think.... Again thank you monarch for the painless and worry free extraction.. Ill be going to yall more often.. Im now a lifetime customer. Sincerely A very satisfied customer

Everyone was really nice here but ultimately i probably won’t go back. I went for a cleaning, got my xrays, the doctor saw me for maybe 1 min didn’t really explain anything to me and told me i needed a deep cleaning and told me to go wait up front. I was really confused by this but i went to the front where i waited for about 40 mins before i got frustrated and asked the receptionist what i was waiting for. She took me to a room immediately and told me that my deep cleaning it would be $700. I asked if i could just get a standard cleaning cause that’s what my insurance would cover and she said no then handed me a pamphlet suggesting i would get heart disease if i didn’t get this $700 deep cleaning. There’s no way i could just drop $700 and i was confused why a receptionist was telling me all this instead of the doctor. I left and got an appointment at a different clinic who gave me the cleaning my insurance covers. It’s frustrating cause my insurance only covers so many office visits and i wasted one at this place and essentially felt like they were trying to scam me into a more expensive service. They were very polite while attempting to hustle me into giving them more money lol

Worst customer service available! Had not been with them in over a year for other issues and decided to try them again and same outcome. Doesn’t matter if u schedule a procedure and have a temp. fall off. When u r promised to be tended to right away and still arrive to wait over an hour the next day for something that was not done right initially and told you have to wait because other scheduled patients are being tended to…there is no logic sense on being tended to in an emergency. Waited over an hour to not get my temp tooth reinstalled due to it falling out overnight. Walking out of the office and miraculously a room becomes available which I would probably have to sit and wait another hour for some service. Unfortunately it shows they have no care for the patient!

I called to schedule an appointment with Monarch two weeks prior, requesting sedation. I show up on appointment time and day only to find out that I had to go next door and that I was not scheduled with the dentist that is trained in that. Hence, they had to schedule me again, this time with Dr. Gonzales @1:30 the same day; which should have been the case since I had originally called requesting a morning appointment. Now I am here and have been waiting for over an hour. I missed a full day of work to get a filling. I give them one star because they were able to offer sedation and give me a second appointment, even though they should have done it right the first time versus wasting my time.

First and foremost this office is not in the best shape. They need a lot of updating . The dental tools literally have alot calcium buildup on them . They can’t seem to control the amount of patients they have it’s a joke. I literally had to bug the manager about getting braces and still got no where. For more than two weeks . When I finally got ahold of someone they said my insurance only paid 20%. It’s 50%. What were you gonna do with the other 30%. My insurance called couldn’t get thru that was practically the last straw for me. Went to another dentist come to find out they didn’t even properly clean my teeth $384 down the drain . Just take your money else were they not worth it.

I came in for a cleaning the first time i was here, i waited 4 hours and I still didn’t receive a cleaning. They kept telling me they thought i already had my cleaning. I came back the second time for my wisdom teeth removal and i was told that i would be getting fillings along with my wisdom teeth removal. I didn’t get the fillings either but they did charge me for them. I called for a check up on my wisdom teeth and they told me to come in so they could prescribe me something to help while i was at work, i got here and they looked in my mouth for 2 secs and told me i was good to go and didn’t prescribe me anything to help. An absolute waste of my time

Unimpressed! My appointment was set for 10am took an hour and a half to be seen and that was because I asked how much longer i was going to be waiting. Otherwise who knows how long i would have waited. When i finally was taken back they took a picture of my teeth. Now when you are at a dentist office for the first time and say you have a tooth ache you expect them to take a picture right? What i did not expect was for them to use a normal regular everyday camera. How can you have a clean clear image of my teeth with a normal camera? The dentist seemed far more interested in up selling me than taking care of my tooth. I'm going to find a new place.

I waited a long time to see if they could fix my tooth. All I got was a long wait. Then I was told my portion of the fee would be, but that they would not be sure if I could get my tooth done on the same day. All I wanted was to be see and have my tooth fix first. First rating I gave was a three. First rating I gave was a three, I went back because I feel everyone should get a second chance. I think the day I went was just one of those days that just happen. Well, I got my tooth fixed and it went extremely well. Everything was running smooth and my doctor was great. So that why I feel that I going to change my rating to a five instead of a three.

Dr.Arslan was attentive to my needs for braces! Ashley was very informative, explaining step by step what was to be expected of putting on braces and having braces for my treatment term! Mr. Joe was a sweetheart cleaned my teeth thoroughly and was very funny!The staff was very helpful and quick! Carmen and Letty were helpful during the financial process.The Manager Ms. Laura came in during my cleaning to check on me.She made sure my overall experience was great! I couldn't be more greatful with the process and how everything was quickly handled. Very satisfied! Everyone was very friendly!

This place really needs some professional help the people that answer the phones at the front desk are rude there customers service skills suck they place you on hold for 30 minutes or longer just to make an appointment for cleaning I mean come on now are you having a taco break while I'm on the phone or what!! Then I was told by the dentist I needed some fillings done on my teeth on the left and right I couldn't chew or eat on the left side so I got all the fillings done and 11 hundred dollars later my teeth are still not fixed because I still can't chew or eat anything on the left side

I would not recommend, staff is very unprofessional & they keep booking me for appointments when the orthodontist isn’t even there. They always mess up on the appointment days & times. The orthodontist himself is too unprofessional. I got braces there & they never wanted to put a bracket on my last tooth (molar) because he said,” it wouldn’t make a difference if we put it on or not.” So all my teeth are almost aligned except for my last molar tooth. The reason why I didn’t have a bracket on that tooth is because it kept falling off. They are just bad business all the way around!

I had a root canal done yesterday. I’ve got to say it was the most comfortable experience ever! I despise needles! The dental assistant & Dr. Higgins made me feel super comfortable as promised. I literally felt NO PAIN. Their customer service & patient attentiveness from the entire staff was amazing. That’s 10 stars in my book if that were a possible rating. Overall, I definitely recommend Monarch Dental for all your dental needs. Their friendly staff and Carmen in their consult department helped offer various payment options to help achieve my dental plan.

Our entire family has had dental work done at this clinic, and we will continue to go back for all our dental needs! The staff has always been very welcoming, and the ladies up front greet everyone with a smile. They work hard to keep order in the busy office, and our wait times have never been long. With each family member having different schedules, it can occasionally be hectic making and keeping appointments, but Monarch has never expressed annoyance when I have to call just days before the original appointment to reschedule. Thanks Monarch!

My first and last experience here was HORRIBLE. The orthodontist Dr. Arslan was so rude & unwelcoming. I get his consultations take up his time but my time as a customer is just as valuable too. He rushed, he was rude, he doesn’t look you in the eye while talking to you. I’ve never met an orthodontist that wasn’t nice or uncaring. I mean, come on- If you’ll be doing my braces for the next 2 years, why wouldn’t you be professionally welcoming and informative? Monarch has now lost a client, even for general dentist servicing.

Absolutely everyone at Monarch Dental located at SW Military Drive, were professional and respectful. My family’s recent experience was pleasant despite the initial fear of drilling. Dr. Higgins was respectful of our fears and the treatments were pain free. The dental assistants were meticulous and nurturing which made things easier. I really appreciated Carmen working with us to ensure the treatments were done and the payments were affordable. I highly recommend Monarch Dental @ SW Military Drive.

I made my husband an appt bc he was in a lot of pain. When I made the appt I made sure they knew he needed that tooth fixed, pulled whatever it takes to get him better. His appt was at 8:30 am. He got there at 8 am. He was there for a few hours! and when he left he was still in pain. Nothing done. And he felt like another dollar to be made rather than a patient. The dr was more worried about putting him to sleep to pull his wisdom teeth. So no I do not recommend monarch dental.

If I could put zero starts I would. Terrible service. Front desk young lady was very nice. Went because I have cavities and Dr said I didn’t have any. I work in the Dental Field and i know what cavities look like. Dr ONLY CHECKS WITH MIRROR !! Lead RDA wiped the X-ray machine with the same gloves she used to take my xrays with ( cross contamination!! ). X-ray apron was disgustingly dirty. Awful treatment coordinator. Will not go back again.

X-ray tech very nice pleasant person dentist very nice also front office people are friendly.I had to talk to a lady in the back office I think her name's Carmen but she took a long time with some clients and as I was passing by she was talking about family and things and whatever patients like to get their check up get it done and get out of there really there's no time to talk about families this is business

I have always been impressed with the staff and dentists at Monarch Dental. They are very friendly and professional. Joe, who cleans my teeth, is a good example. He is so smooth and careful. My gums used to hurt for days after a cleaning, but not with Joe. He is the reason I go back to this dentist. I expect the dentist to be outstanding, the assistants to be smiling and friendly, but I want to avoid pain!

super scared of the dentist it's one of my biggest fears but when I came to monarch dental they made me feel so comfortable relax and did wonderful work on my teeth which I thought was never possible there are great team so friendly and there with you the whole time by your by andyour side it's the most fantastic experience I've ever had so much that my fear of the dentist it's all but long gone!

First time patient and I enjoyed the great customer service! Dr. Higgins was very professional and informative. The only downfall was the excessive amount of wait time and a lot of in and out from the back to the front. I came from a dentist office that had me in and out within an hour so I wasn’t use to being there from 9am-1pm. Hopefully this can change. Other than that it was a great visit!

I had some extensive dental work done that should have been very painful. Due to the planning and medication I was given I'm going to say something very strange- at no time was my visit unpleasant! No pain at all. The staff was wonderful! It is the day after and I'm very comfortable. They give very good instructions which have aided in my painless recovery! Thank you so much!

I was in a financial situation and the credit that I was approved for which was less than 1k they did 4 wisdom teeth extractions and bone replacement. They even did an extra extraction as a courtesy also with bone replacement. I didnt expect them to do all this for me but I thank God they did. I'm making Monarch Dental my main Dentistry. I highly recommend going there.

South side location. Dr. G has been the best dentist I have ever gone to. His staff Rosi and Yoli are amazing sweet patient technicians. I switched dentist after the military to Monarch and I am happy I did. I’m 41. Any issues they saw prematurely they fixed. I have found a Dentist office that really cares about their patients. You are not just the next set of teeth at this office. The Staff is friendly and caring and they will find a way to ease your mind while fixing your teeth. The waiting is minimal and your appointment time is when you see the Dentist. No waiting. If you need a Dentist, this is a excellent choice.

I CALLED THE OFFICE ONE AFTERNOON REFERENCE A DAMAGED DENTURE AND WAS GIVEN AN APPOINTMENT THE VERY NEXT MORNING. THE DENTURE WAS SENT TO THE LAB FOR REPAIR AND WAS RETURNED IN LESS THAT 24 HOURS. I RETURNED TO THE OFFICE AND MY SMILE WAS RETURNED AS GOOD AS NEW. COULD ANYONE ASK FOR ANY BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS?? I THINK NOT. THANKS MONARCH! JIM B.

At first I was skeptical about doing my braces and after discussing everything with Carmen and helping figure out a plan for my income, I was convinced. Carmen went above to help me and also the front desk are very helpful and try to fit me in as soon as possible when I need to cancel. I am loving the process of my teeth. Not disappointed at all!

Everyone here was super nice Ms Carmen explained the process and and put my wife at ease.She did not know it was going to be this easy she had been needing to take care of her dentures but was not sure what it would take. I heard alot of things about this place and also I heard bad like when you have an appointment they see you an hour very true. Monarch please don't reply to cantact y'all no just fix the issue because it's true. From the dentist to the receptionist to the lady that you last speak to to get the pricing they all were amazing they take their time to explain things they don't rush you they make you feel comfortable they don't make you feel embarrassed they're real professionals and I will be going back to complete my work with them.

I was treated very well from the moment I walked in the door from the reception desk to the x-ray technician who did an awesome job to the dentist who reviewed my x-rays my cleaning and finally to the explanation of payment plans for my needed work. Poor service. The front office never follow-up or schedule u for work that needs to be completed. I had an implant and crown work done that took almost a year to complete. For any extraction they only want it done under sedation. The patient is not given a choice. Not going back there again.

Always get great service at this monarch. I broke a crown and they worked me in first thing on the next day. They treat cowards like me carefully and respectfully. One tech tended to dismiss my concerns/fear of a particular part of treatment but did not distract from overall experience.

Well I had four cavities and 12 fillings and I'm glad they were done all at the same time the only thing to me that is a drawback is not being able to go in the afternoon at least till 3:00 everything must be done before noon time which I work and I don't get out of work till 3:30

Came in with an emergency problem tooth, greeted quickly, met with Dr Higgins whom took X-rays and promptly assessed my problem. My visit was quick, x-rays taken and Dr. Evaluated me quickly. I recommend Monarch to all my family and friends. Thank you Monarch!!!!!!! Great job!!!!

It was overall a good experience except for the dr. saying I need crowns for my molars. I cannot afford it. I asked if they could fill them instead. I have not heard back. It is my impression they are trying to squeeze money out of patients.

This branch has canceled appointments for the hygienis several times. When my wife had to reschedule she asked will I have to do this again, pertaining to her work calendar, the lady told her, if she didn't like it she could go elsewhere.

Accoring to my husband its a friendly environment, however he was very disappointed with the dentist, he ignored several questions my husband's asked, he didn't seem to care much that he was in pain. I will be canceling my appointment.

I had a great experience this past Thursday at my Ortho appt. The girls in front and techs in back are always pleasant and welcoming. The Dr is normally quick so can’t say much about him. But overall great service.

Dental Hygienist Mr Joe is the only reason I go back. He is gentle on cleanings. He informs you of any issues and takes care of your teeth. Been going to him for over 15 years.
