I’ll let you in on a little secret of ours. I just had the most awesome experience today. Supporting our local shop keepers here in Ottawa means a lot to me. Parking was a breeze and being able to walk down Spark Street is always a breath of fresh air. I was truly excited this past weekend to pre-book an appointment with the store re-opening after 10 weeks of lockdown via Covid19. Then the emotion hit me when I walked in to the shop today. It was wonderful to see the boys. They made me feel special as they always do. Always offer me an espresso and ask about my family and friends. It the kind of personal customer service you just can’t find in a big box retailer. My Son Nic and I both rely on our personal “what do I wear” coach Domenic Morgante. They are the professionals in the business of men’s clothing. All they do is study their business. They have been around for 30+ years. They know what is in and what I need to wear. I always suggest that you deal with the best in any business. Domenic and his Father Franco own and operate Morgante’s menswear. They have an outstanding selection of the finest men’s wear from formal to casual. My look is for business, social and my Son’s look is a more youthful dressed up going to play NCAA hockey. It doesn’t matter, Dom gets it and can make it work without blowing the budget. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a “clothes horse” kind of guy. However in our business you have to feel good about what you are wearing and you have to look professional at all times. Formal attire is my uniform in the business of real estate and I need help on how to do it. Even with our virtual zoom meetings, you still need to play the roll and look you best. Domenic and Franco have been my go to tailor and consultants now for years. I learned a long time ago, and I have stressed to my Son that it isn’t about quantity in your closet, it is better to a few quality pieces. Shopping is not my thing. I don’t have time for it. I can quickly be in and out. They put it all together for me. Franco is an “old school” tailor. They do the tailoring right in the back of the shop. Everything is custom fit. You feel good about what you are wearing. The clothing fits perfectly to you. The quality of their brands is super. My one stop shop for mens closing.

Wanted to say thanks to Dom and Frank for their help and great service: I needed a suit for a wedding and went to a bunch of places in Ottawa. Dom made me feel very comfortable at Morgante and answered all my questions throughout the process (I ask a lot of questions). As opposed to other places I also never felt pressured to buy anything. Frank took it the extra mile with his amazing tailoring. While I liked how my suit fit at first, after the tailoring I was honestly shocked at how awesome it looked on me. I would not think twice about coming back here for a new suit or recommending this place to anyone looking for one!

Dom and Franco are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to menswear. I ordered a custom suit through the shop, and Franco made sure the entire process was seamless. From start to finish - picking out the patterns and sizing, the initial fitting, and the final fitting - I felt as if I was a VIP. I went in today looking for a nice white dress shirt to go with my suit and Domenic was very helpful and professional. The store if perfectly clean and organized. I was surprised when he pulled out about 6 different shirts to pick from! I'm thinking I'll have to go back when I have more time to look for a new suit..

A wonderful retail experience. Absolutely fabulous service, something that is a dying art in this day and age. The clothes are expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for some decent clothes, and someone to give you knowledgeable and experienced service, I would definitely recommend them.
