Morning side suites have the worst service anyone can ever think of. Starting from their staff down to their service delivery. Okay, hubby and I decided to go on a weekend gateway and we chose morning side suites so we decided to call to know if we needed to make a reservation first but when we called, and tried to inquire about it the lady that took the call started sounding rude and even dropped the call on my husband. Hubby was furious but I begged him to call again and he did and asked why she was rude and even dropped the call she lied and then apologized. I persuaded hubby that we should still go since we loved what we saw online and off we went. We paid for 3 days for one of their rooms that costs 50k naira making a total of 150k naira and that was our biggest mistake. First, there's no room service in the mornings and literally have to call and call and call before you get one that ends up coming around 4pm with the excuse that you need to put a sign on your door if you need one which wasn't explained to us by the receptionist; The same receptionist that we've been calling. The staff will even refer to hubby and I as bros and sis which I had to lash out on one of them before he apologized. Then we made a payment for a lunch hubby and I had only for us to be told when we were checking out that we didn't. We were both surprised and identified the girl that attended to us only for her to say the POS transaction failed and I was furious because we were never informed. We called the bank and the bank requested for 7 working days to treat the case. We were asked to pay and they assured us of a refund should they get a double payment. Fast forward to a week later, the bank notified us that the payment went through and even sent an email to show them should they deny it but when we got there they kept lying that their accountant is in a meeting blah blah. They ignore our calls and drop the call once they realize it's us, so I told hubby to let the money go. Morning side suites are a fraud and I do not recommend it to anyone because our experience there was horrible and I didn't even explain everything we experienced there but for a hotel that is that expensive, I feel it should also have a high standard. Morning side suites is TRASH!!!

This place is located just off Ahmadu Bello way on Taslim Elias close and could be found at the end of the road once you get on the street. The location looks good and well managed. The parking here is enough for the customers with security personnel to direct your parking. There's a restaurant, a swimming pool, two bars (one inside and the other by the pool side) and a gym. The rooms are quite cozy and clean though my only issue is with the plumbing which needs some fixing. The corridors are lined with nice small artworks with some seats strategically placed in the case you need them. There's also a lift here or you could take the stairs. Food here is good and served a la carte and the staff are very friendly and always willing to help out. You also have people who work around the area trooping in for lunch. You can chill by the pool side or under the fancy umbrella and seats carefully placed at the corners of the entrance. The location is also good for easy access to places in VI and environs. The price point here could be considered moderate when juxtaposed with the location and what is obtainable within the vicinity.

So i have a very Good friend staying in your hotel ... And his not impressed at all .... So he says,... Those at the Reception are very nice n polite but the kitchen n some of the waiters are just obviously very rude, their customer service is wack , I have been here for four nights and the reception from some staffs is totally bellow the belt. They have no customer approach and their altitude to clients is disturbing, some like the kitchen staff tonight (21/08/23 @ 11.34pm) was very poor, her altitude n tone on the phone was something else,.... So guys before you loose customer without knowing why they dont return, i decided to make this post to bring to your notice some inconsistency in your staff. If he gives more updates will be sure to let you know.

Morning side suite is very affordable and located in a strategic place, making access to the vast commercial area of Victoria Island within reach, yet within budget. It is quite close to leasure spots like Silverbird galleria and other wonderful restaurants like Sabor and Carnival restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms also come with a complimentary breakfast, which has to be consumed at the restaurant downstairs. It has a sizable car park to accommodate guest and lodgers alike, a gym, and also a pool with poolside equipment for DJ and parties. Access to the rooms is via an elevator or staircase. It is a 2 storey building. It has the classic, superior, and business lodge. All within reasonable budget.

This was my first time to Nigeria. I had reservations at another hotel but they messed it up so I ended up going to this hotel and I am happy that I found them. The staff was nice to me and I mean sincerely, I travel a lot so when I pay a compliment to the staff it comes with a lot of experience behind it. I would rent here again because of the way the staff treated me and because it was convenient it's off the main road and a little bit quiet but yet not too far off the main road. It was easy to get Uber drivers to come and pick me up. The food in the restaurant was very nice I liked the seafood and rice meal they charge about 10 USD. Also they had a small gym not very many weights, a few dumbbells one bar and one universal and two treadmills. The swimming pool is small but at least they have one. I recommend this place to you.

Didn't stay in the end.... Despite confirmed booking 2wks in advance, email confirmation from the hotel the day before, arrived with my wife only to be told 'You cannot have a room'. Attitude of the staff was terrible, asked for the manager, was told he was in a meeting and could not be disturbed..... In the end, and after a lot of aggro, they finally got the etim inyang branch to get us a room. The etim inyang staff are way superior and professional in their attitude to customers, but the teslim Elias staff are rude, poorly trained and clueless as to handle customers. Evidently from reviews and conversations we overheard amongst the staff, this overbooking by teslim Elias branch is common.....book this hotel at your own peril........ IMHO

Booked this hotel coz it was one of the closest to where I had an appointment on the island, on arrival, I was told no rooms were available and they tried to reach me severally via phone call to no avail. If the management can see this, here’s what I expected from you guys. An earlier text message or an email would have sufficed coz I silenced unknown callers at that period of time due to personal reasons and I wasn’t expecting any calls from the hotel. Well, the environment was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming though. They conveyed me to another hotel nearby (BWC hotel) which was a nice option and I bet my experience at Morning Side would have been a great one too. Therefore I’ll recommend but make sure you book your reservation ASAP

Some of the staff were amazing and then there were a few who were terrible. One lady in particular who I'm not going to name was just atrocious and very unattentive. She is literally the reason why I would never go back there and when I was leaving one of the male staff whom I'm also not going to name didn't even say "goodbye" or "thanks for coming". And the oneday I had breakfast there I ended up getting sick for an entire day. Also the bathtubs are very slippery and dangerous. As an American visiting on business I would never go back here but I wish the good staff people who did work there and did a great job all of the best. Unfortunately one or two bad apples can spoil the bunch.

The worst place to stay in VI. Room was a bit dank but the services made up for it. Breakfast is complimentary and though a bit limited is very very well prepared. Kudos to the chef. Spent a few days during my last trip to Lagos and this has necessitated my review. Let me say without mincing words that this is the dirtiest hotel on the island. The duvet had blood splatters in a particular section and they dressed it over with some folds and cloth. I called room service and asked for another. They didn’t have any more. The bedsheets were dirty and colored probably from the dirty water they use. All Their towels were ragged and had stains. This hotel actually needs to be closed to avoid health issues. Shameful indeed.

Well, a home away from home. Friendly Staff Cosy Environ. Hot, fresh and smoking, tasty cuisines both continental and local dishes are delightfully prepared and available. Cool and Serene environment with posh decor, fine car park with reliable parking attendants that have razor-sharp responses to your needs and totally on point. Friendly interactive and warm staff that actually welcome you back like you left home on some long trip and need all the refreshing that they have to offer you. It's a home away from home! Their chef will spoil you just ask and it's done in minutes, just give it a shot either as a group, couple or even single. Give it a Try !

Response to requests were slow. The room floor and tables were dusty. The bed post needs something to clean it so it shows the white leather clearly, looks like they only concentrate on the bottom half when cleaning. The pool needs to be scrubbed especially around the top edges it's growing black mould or something. Maybe a little more Chlorine in the pool. Oh and baking soda can be used to clean the bed post to its original colour.

Coming from Bonny Camp It is located adjacent Silverbird Gallaria off Ahmadu Bello way Victoria Island Lagos State.It's a very nice hotel that won't make a hole in your pocket and at the same time offers you great service, experience and comfort. The ambience of the interior is so calm and the staffs there are quite friendly too. The parking lots is quite spacious and can take at least 25 vehicles. It really a nice place to visit.

My room was quite Pricey. Spent 40 thousand naira For a room that was worth about 25k. Food was good but too expensive too. The laundry dept spoilt my trousers and delayed me from checking out before the checkout time because I insisted they had to fix what they spoilt. When they fixed it and I was about to check out, the receptionist threatened to bill me for staying for an extra hour. That was when I knew I would never go back there. No good memories at all. It's still a good hotel anyways but I would NEVER visit again.

Morning Side Suites is such an awesome Hotel, it's a medium sized 3 to 4 star Hotel with a lovely gym and very decent pool, their rooms are very nice and quite clean but this is not what has endeared them to me, it is the quality of the service that has endeared them to me and their delicious cuisine. Those 2 factors earned them a 5 star review for me because they are so polite and willing to do anything you ask of them, they do their best to make sure you have a fun time there. I always enjoy staying here

A great environment with very good staff esp NELSON, serves decent breakfast , slow WIFI, no noise and no loitering around, Good gym and clean pool. They got 3 star cause they didn’t call me to come get my underwear and slides I forgot at the hotelroom. The room I lodged had a leaking refrigerator but functioning. tiny 4.5 bed my feet was almost getting out of the bed in my own house na queen size mattress I get. An ok place. A hidden gem right in the hustle and bustle of Victoria Island. This is one place to go when you want some peace. It's also not too pricey and within a reasonable range. I enjoyed the level of customer service delivered. The staff were more than happy to help, with a smiling face all the time. The food in the restaurant is on point. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled fish and pepper soup. It was rather shocking that there was no fridge in the room I booked, despite being a superior suite.

I enjoy my stay at morning side suites, their prices are very affordable,the rooms are well clean and the worker are very polite and friendly, the hotel is 5min away from U.S embassy, they give free breakfast for a person and also free WiFi.

I’d give morning sides suites a 10/10 on majorly everything It’s affordable and for those looking to book this hotel for a honeymoon getaway it’s awesome since it’s along the major road to a bunch of other activities. They offer complimentary breakfast for one that is usually served cold but could be hot on request Overall it was amazing and I enjoyed my time there I’d definitely would want to visit again. They also have lovely staffs willing to meat your needs

Their Superior rooms are very cosy and their food is quite nice and affordable. However you need to either be sure of a room number before you pick it or ask to see the room before payment, particularly their standard rooms closer to the swimming pool. Those rooms are way below standard and are nothing compared to the rooms on the other side facing the elevator. Management should do something about those.

Morning side Suites is a small boutique hotel with a reasonable price-value. The installation is fine, swimming pool was in "maintenance", but that happens. The people were kind. Its close to the American and German Embassy and that's an advantage if you are doing something there. Parking place, quiet environment. Decoration and architecture with good taste. Good for them.

Rooms are a bit outdated. Bedspreads looked dingy and towels. It looks like they don't use Bleach or sanitize them. Room carpet is very old and nasty. I hated the spots on the sheets and blankets.

Morning side suites, VI. I like the location, as it is in an enclosed environment, zero noise, less people. Their rooms are standard, good bathroom, modern facilities e.t.c. They got nice bar at the ground floor, just after the entrance. They have a small sized meeting room accommodating about 20-30 persons.

This is a terrible place. The air condition are difficult to operate, the door had issues, unable to open with my card for sometime. The toilet also are quite old, was unable to flush properly. The elevator also stopped working. The great thing about this is the location if you have something to do in VI.

Quiet hotel. Discrete and lovely. The rooms are quite spacious and clean when compared to other hotels of similar rating. The front desk officer I met during my stay appears not to grounded on how to handle bookings on hotels.ng. We stood for more than 20mins before we got a room key. Other than that, every other thing was splendid.

It's okay if you are looking for a place to stay, perhaps if you are not able to return home that night. But the pool was not kid-friendly, as i was told, because the floor of the pool starts to slope right from the beginning. But generally, it was okay.

I felt very comfortable, I enjoyed myself and had fun, Stable water and power supply, Working AC and water heater, I had necessary toiletries and foot-mat at the bathroom to clean my foot after bathing. My food was neatly served and tasty, nice people because I gave them a rough time but they did not complain, which was very nice.

Morning side was comfortable but the rules were very off. 1. For room services extra fee of 1k. 2. You’re not allowed to use the pool past 11pm. Even those that can swim lol. Plus the pool was dirty. 3. You can’t microwave food outside theirs and they don’t serve cold water if you want. Plus their drinks menu very limited.

Located in the earth of VI. You can't get it wrong here. Topnotch staff and n8ce ambience.

There are two morning sides, Teslim Elias and Etim Inyang.. this one is at Teslim Elias. In all, It was an “okay” experience, a cool place to stay if you don’t want any disturbance. Giving it a 4 in total due to the great customer service. Service - 5 Meal - 31/2 Room - 4 Bathroom - 31/2 Internet - non existent

I think what makes this place stand out is the location. It's in a serene environment with ample parking for guests. It was a good stay with helpful staff, even when I came back to retrieve an item I forgot. Sure to be back if the opportunity presents itself.

Nahhh . This place is so cozy, when i entered here i was like wow, this is exquisite. The environment so neat, cool customer service Stayed in the classic room worth 30k and it's better than some hotels that cost 50k above. Free pool, gym and breakfast for lodgers

I just went to visit a friend and have supper with them. I had the rice meal almost like the Spanish Paella and it was absolutely scrumptious. The staff was also very helpful to get me a taxi to take me back to my place with a good driver and a good rate.

The rooms are quite expensive but it's Victoria Island..... so..... Anyway they have a cool gym and swimming pool which is accessible once you have booked a room. The cheapest room is 30k. And they offer breakfast by 6 and 10:30 am. Check out time is 12pm

Lovely environment and in a quiet location. Rooms are spacious with a beautiful and large bathroom . Value for your money is 100 percent, I highly recommend this hotel .

The location is superb! At morning side you can enjoy Lagos island to the fullest. Customer services is excellent and the Ambience and rooms are very clean and properly manage. Fitness center and pool is also on point. Will definitely visit again.

My stay at Morning Side Suites was amazing. Nice pool view for relaxation. Every meal i had was nicely prepared to taste. Timing is so accurate with regards to room service. If you love privacy, good meals etc, choose Morning Side Suites.

Really expensive, relatively little swimming pool & gym. Clean building. Not exactly recommended for long stays. Rooms are OK, jakuzi included in higher suites (equipped with hydro jets).
