When it comes to moving in they're very helpful and happy to take your money. However, when it comes time to move out - you're on your own. Their website states "When the time comes to get your stuff into or out of your storage unit, think of us as your helpful friend who happens to own a big moving truck. We’ll even let you use it for free!" Couldn't be further from the truth. They charge you to use the "free" truck only when you're moving out. When I explained to Richelle that the website said the opposite she said they've "had troubles in the past." What does that mean? You have trouble allowing people to use the truck when they're moving out but they're fine when they're moving in? Seems like a scam. I think it's just this location because we spoke to someone who manages another location and he said at his location the truck is always free. Don't be fooled by their kindness when you move in.

Wow! Who knew reserving a storage unit could be such a pleasant experience? I went online over the weekend to inquire about a unit, and BJ (who was filling in at this location), reached out to me within 15 minutes of my submission. I stopped in, received a tour, signed the paperwork, and had my keys all within 30 minutes. I have actually had a storage unit for the last (3) years up the street and I’m shocked at what I could have been saving if I would have made the switch sooner. Over $130/month!!! — Don’t make the same mistake as me. Go in and talk with Morningstar, as I couldn’t be happier. Clean, FANTASTIC customer service, easy access BUT secure. I received (1) month free and the option to use their moving truck… FOR FREE!

Above all - exceptional service. Brand-new facility that opened just this month with great security features and easy 24hr access. Richelle (manager) is very approachable via email and phone, which was really helpful to me as a busy professional. Grace set up my account and storage space — she really cares about you as a person and was very diligent in every step of the process. They offer very competitive rates that are currently at a steal with their promotion for 2-months free. They also provide military and first-responder discounts, free truck for move-in, and package acceptance during business hours. Glad I went with Morningstar and highly recommend.

Just saw another person explain the same exact thing happen to me! Was told that I would be able to get a refund for partial month. When I asked the lady at the desk about it she said that I was not going to get one. I asked her how this wasn’t possible when she literally told me over the phone and in writing I’d be eligible for one. I guess calling corporate and telling them my concern for constant bait and switch wasn’t a huge concern because I’m still awaiting this promised refund. Guess I’ll take my business to Big Tex where they actually care about their customers.

I really wish I could give zero star. They tell you one thing and then they tell you something completely different. Was told I would get a partial refund for if I left before the 15th and I did. Called to check on status and said I dont get a refund because I left after the 15th. A complete lie and when I told them it was incorrect they were very rude and would give me a call back. I called this location and the number of the website 3 times with the promise of someone going to call me back to help me and a 2 months later… nothing! Terrible customer service

Great new storage location, the amenities are super clean, spacious and safe. The property manger Richelle made our signing up experience superb! She’s professional and kind, the touring of the units and signing up went as smoothly as you can imagine. We didn’t even bother to check any other locations after our encounter with Richelle and seeing the facility. Reasonable priced and I’d highly highly recommend this self storage location if you’re looking .

Manager Richelle is very helpful, encouraging, and professional. We love our new storage unit, and we are saving a lot of money. Being able to use their truck for free was extremely helpful and a huge cost savings. And the fact that the unit is climate controlled (considering where we were coming from), I am over the moon. I highly recommend this brand new storage facility!

Had a bad experience here. The manager at this location is money hungry and incompetent. Had three separate situations where effective communication should have solved the problem but the manager, Richelle Loewenstein was incapable. MorningStar storage itself is fine but stay away from this location unless you absolutely have to.

I had a pleasant, efficient, and satisfactory experience at this location. Richelle's level of customer service is hard to find nowadays. The place is new, everything is in working order, and the rates are reasonable. I have only been storing here for a few weeks, but so far so good. I will highly recommend this location.

Beautiful, brand new facility and excellent customer service! Super competitive rates even without the monthly specials for what some of the others are offering in the downtown/midtown/heights areas of Houston. I love the 24 hour access and brand new carts (no dirty and warped wheels!!) Super excited to use!

I was able to go and view the size unit I was considering before making a purchase. I definitely recommend this location for your storage needs.
