Do not book a function here. The Club reneged on a booking for Saturday 20/2. Inquired re availability on Monday 18/1 and confirmed booking via phone on 19/1. Offered to pay the deposit via EFT but was told to wait until Saturday 23/1 when I was going to the Club to fill out the paperwork. Advised by phone on Friday 22/1 that the booking was cancelled due to a bowls event, and because I had not paid the deposit the bowling takes precedence and they don't have to honour the booking. Have since found out that the bowling event is on the Sunday and they just want to set up on the Saturday night. Very poor business practice by an organisation advertising its venue for hire. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Awesome place for fun with the family and friends... Every Friday night from 5.30pm till 8.30, barefoot bowls... Have a volunteer from the club giving a helping hand with technique and encouragement... Cheap eats with snags and burgers... Then relax, overlooking the ocean with a casual drink, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages... With a cheap packet of chips... Comes highly recommended.. blessings

Worst club I’ve been to as a rvba member should be able to play on any Victorian greens and they won’t let you bowl and pretty stuck up Probably a main reason why they don’t have any young members we were tossing up whether to play there next year or rye and rye is definitely more friendly

Love this place. Drinks super cheap and staff really friendly and welcoming. Playing barefoot bowls was an absolute hoot! Highly recommended for Birthdays and other special occasions.

We were there for a birthday party. The building has lovely views of the bay. Bar and finger foods managed by friendly member volunteers.

In the warmer months Friday barefoot bowls is a delight at this small, very friendly local club right on the cliff top.
