I had some terrific experiences, as a parent, at MVPS and will miss it now that my children have gone off to high school. But, and that's a BIG butt. I did have a problem with the way the school was run. If my kids were any younger i would have pulled them out and gone to a different school. The staffing leaves a lot to be desired, there is NO consistency in discipline or the communication with parents and for the most part the oldere staff members just taught for teachings sake. I don't believe they had any joy in being a teacher anymore and it is a good thing that MVPS are employing younger staff who still enjoy their job. And the principal dresses like a street walker rather than someone in a position of power. It is inappropriate to wear such revealing clothing.

I do think this is an amazing school and its so intriguing but I think instead of focusing on bullying so much for the older kids. I think we should focus a bit on depression, anxiety, eating disorders and self harm. Due to it not always being others who make us feel bad. But it is ourselves.

Amazing school, loved the people and teachers. Caring and supportive teachers (shout out Ms Rice). Loved every bit of it and was and still is devastated that I moved schools for Yr 6. Miss u guys every day.
