Update: looking at the owners reply and scrolling through past reviews, it's very clear that the owner does not take customer concerns seriously. Any negative review is met with excuses and defensiveness, rather than trying to address the underlying problem. Reviewer beware. I would be very careful about posting with real-world identifiable information, given that the owner doesn't seem to take feedback well. I personally wouldn't want someone like this knowing who I am in real life. To the owner, as I said in my review, I followed Purolator instructions for documentation. The first time I brought the documentation, it was accepted at your store. The second time I brought the same documentation, it was denied. This is clearly an issue on your end. I followed all instructions given to me by Purolator exactly. The solution is simple: communicate with your customers better. Post your requirements on a website or something. Take down the confusing mess of signs on your door, and communicate your hours clearly. I am not the only one with this experience, as evidenced by the many people I saw who were also inconvenienced. If you acknowledged this and took steps to address the underlying problem, that would be a much better look for the business. Original: The negative reviews on package pick-up are correct. This store does arbitrarily change its rules without notice. I once arrived to pick up a package during store hours and got yelled at because they were apparently closed. There were over 5 signs outside showing that they were open and one sign saying they are closed. Apparently, me asking if they were actually closed warranted getting yelled at. I wasn't the only one confused. About 2-3 people also came and tried to get in in the 5 min that I was there. The second time I picked up a package, I was told that the documents that I brought weren't valid (even though it was a document with my address that I've used at this store before for package pick-up). They told me that I needed to bring in a very specific utility bill and I wasn't given any other option. This was not part of the instruction that I was given by purolator and I was completely blind-sided. I wasn't the only one having trouble apparently. Some other poor guy was getting frustrated because they wanted him to make another trip to print out some specific document in order to pick up his package. It's a pattern. This store is very disorganized and overreaches on their responsibility for package pick-up. I suggest you don't ship by Purolator in this area, as it gets routed to this store. If you absolutely have to pick something up from here, I suggest you call them to ask exactly what they need. And record the conversation so you have evidence for when they decide to reject your documents.
UPDATE *AUGUST 2022* I wrote the review below a while ago. This year, the store has improved quite a lot. The last visits I have had at the store have been very positive and the customer service has been very kind and helpful. Perhaps, my previous impression was the result of employees being very stressed by the pandemic. Customer service has notably improved. ----------- 0 ----------------------------------- 0 -------------------------------- 0 ---------- The staff is very rude. Every time I have gone to that store, they treat me in a belligerent way. Mistakes the staff makes; they make it clear is your fault as a customer. I have been in this store at least seven times. On one occasion, the manager was not happy that I requested to view an item at the display window that was on sale (they place the clearance stuff there, and there was no other similar item elsewhere). The manager made comments to the girl who had to take the thing from the window and made some facial gestures to me while he made those comments. I did not hear what he said, though. By the way, I did buy the item in question. Another occasion, while picking up a package, the front desk man requested to pick up my package at the store's back door. He saw me leaving the store (going to the back of the store), and he did not correct me so that I would go to the correct area. I went to the back, and a person there (I believe he was the manager in that shift - chubby, short, angry white middle-age man) told me that I had to pick up my package at the front! I explained what the person at the front told me, and he started arguing with me about that, telling me (widening his eyes and almost yelling at me) that they NEVER send people to the back of the store. That's not true. Previous to picking up that package, I picked up another one a few weeks before, and they helped me at that door, as it was the policy then. Nevertheless, the guy made me go to the front again, inside the store, to the same place where I was before at the back door! The only difference was that I walked inside the store again! My overall impression is that most of the staff are miserable working there. I am sorry for a woman who tries very hard to be nice-r to costumers and another two very young men I have seen working there. Other than that, all employees seem frustrated and angry. If you are not white and you can avoid this store, please do.
Well... we went today to pick up a package. The package was at the Fed Ex Pickup place in the back. Turns out you need something with your address to pick up with Fed Ex even though over the phone she said I just needed to bring something with my name ( but whatever that’s not even the issue here) . I just moved so I don’t have that on anything anymore. I told the woman that and she rolled her eyes at me and said “ take it up with Fed ex” in the rudest tone and was clearly not ready to help me in any way. I was already pissed off for having such bad customer service so I then went and got my boyfriend who has our old address on his old drivers license. He came in and was pissed that this woman was super rude to me in the first place and the men who work at the store followed him out and told him not to be so “agressive” meanwhile he had said literally nothing except “we’re getting this package today” to the rude person who served me. They then came back to the back of the store while he went to get his card in the car that he thought was in his wallet and started laughing and gossiping about me and my boyfriend.. while I was right around the corner... then when my boyfriend got back the old man who works there went “ shh” to stop the immature gossip even though I heard the whole thing. A bunch of immature people work here and honestly I was about to go buy a bunch of stuff for my new place there since it’s in the area but I won’t be back. Super rude, super immature and really just embarrassing customer service. I will be telling my family and friends in the area to avoid this place. You would think that a family owned business would conduct better customer service and hire people who aren’t rude. Sorry guys. You lost a customer.
Well the most recent review was dated 2017.... so here goes! The thing that is undeniably appealing about a local Home Hardware store is it's location. Similar to a 7-Eleven, if you know exactly what you want, and for the sake of expediency, you don't mind paying a minor premium for it.... then go to your local Home Hardware. If you want to browse, and you want to compare the pros & cons of 60+ different kinds of hammers, drills, or whatever.... then you will be very disappointed with Home Hardware. Manage your expectations! The staff are hit and miss, they don't necessarily get the same level of training or expertise as the staff at Home Depot or Rona do; some of them are phenomenally knowledgeable about pluming while some of them are utterly clueless about other things. Do you homework before coming here to make that convenience purchase. The other nice thing about this particular location of Home Hardware is that it is also a FedEx Pickup/Dropoff Centre, plus it is also a Purolator Pickup/Dropoff Centre. In this aspect I've always found their service to be prompt and excellent! I find this particular location of Home Hardware in the Wellington West area, nestled between Hintonburg / Chinatown / Westboros, to be very well located. Easily walkable if you live nearby and easily accessible by OC Transpo if you are just a little bit farther away.
I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Morris Home Hardware. I was there on a Saturday at about 11:00 a.m. to ship something via FedEx. I was unable to prepare any of the documents (shipping and customs) beforehand—I simply came with the item being shipped and the information that I needed from the recipient. All the forms had to be filled out, the item had to be weighed and measured, etc. The store was packed with shoppers and I was the store’s worst nightmare—completely unprepared. As soon as I walked up to the register I was greeted by Logan, who asked me if I needed the item that I was holding shipped. I won’t go into the details of all the things that Logan explained, did, and helped me with. Suffice to say that within 15 minutes I was out the door—my package had been processed. Like I said, the store was packed with shoppers. Logan, however, made me feel like I was the most important person in the store. And I wasn’t even buying anything! I was just shipping a package. While he went to make a copy of my receipt, I had the opportunity to look around at the abundance of items that they stock, though—amazing Paderno kitchen inventory among so many other things! I’ll be back as a shopper, that’s for sure. To the owner(s) of Morris Home Hardware: Thank you. You’ve got a gem (Logan) working for you. Thank you again, Logan.
Staff was extremely rude when handling a delivery. I waited outside in the snow in line for 10 minutes and was directed to a back alley entrance. When I arrived there, I was told I needed to provide residence. I advised that I needed a moment to find proof electronically (my ID has a former address on it), and the staff aggressively insisted that I leave and return when I had the ID--which presumably would have meant repeating the process of going to the front of the store and waiting in line, which would have risked not being served before closing time 30 minutes later. I asserted that I needed a moment and the staff was extremely rude about it, shouting about needing to return to work. After under 2 minutes, I found the proof of residence. The package was given to me, but the staff member shouted loudly "Goodbye!" and slammed the garage door in a way that I felt could have risked my safety. I had been a loyal customer at this location, but I will never return here again.
Save your time, shop at Home depot, Lowes or even Amazon: -Tried to buy some duct seal online, minimum purchase of 15$ to PICK UP in store ( rivals like home depot doesn't do this). -Went to store to try to buy the duct seal, was told to call the phone number. Called the phone number, was told to get the SKU product number from ONLINE. Since I was in front of the store and didn't have internet to find the SKU number, I asked if he could just search the product via his computer with name and price. Was told it would take too much time...AND to go back home, get the code, call again and then come back! 1 month ago, I was in the store and they had no problem search a product with the same computer. No problem. And we wonder why Amazon will destroy retail stores...It's not just the prices, it's also the customer service. EDIT: in reply to the store. I didn't try to order at the door. I CALLED, your employee was just to lazy to lookup the SKU code for me.
I literally just came from this store to drop off a Purolator package. As I waited in line to drop it off, there was a young male worker assisting a customer with what I came to understand was related to FedEx. Before I was assisted, an older worker, a lady, appeared from "the back" and almost immediately looked over the younger worker's shoulder. Huffing and puffing, the older worker berated the younger worker with words in the line of "...you have wasted time. This is how we have always done it...". Nobody deserves berating, worse off, in front of customers and in public (unless it is by your mother, in which case you probably deserved it because moms know best). If this review means anything to the owners of this store, it is clear that more than just the young man needs training in their daily tasks. Two stars due to this incident, which is sad because other than that, there were no issues with my visit.
May 22, 2020, 1 pm. Went in the store and I noticed the employees and very few costumers not wearing masks. Within 5 minutes it was busy with lots of people not wearing masks, not possible to social distance either. I felt unsafe and asked the owner if he plans to make his store safer for his costumers. He kicked me out and banned me from ever coming back, HAHA! Mr. Morris, Do you care or respect the health and lives of your employees and your costumers, because I certainly did not see that in your store today, (very scary stuff). Please follow the guidelines provided by the scientists and government and be a responsible business owner. Rights come with being responsible for the safety and we'll being of others. Also, banning me from your store because I felt unsafe with a panic attack coming on was unkind and hurtful.
Lazy staff, belligerent owner. Have not personally witnessed incidents of racism, but have seen enough implication to believe every review that has claimed this. This location relies entirely on its status as a pickup location. Of 5 dropoffs, one has resulted in an actual pickup. I now actively request my packages to be rerouted whenever this is given as an address. This store is so aggressively terrible that I willingly add an additional day and trip to an alternative location so as to avoid it. If you are brave or foolhardy enough to deal with this dump and have to deal with the descent into madness that is picking up a package, take the time to complain to Purolator/FedEx if you have a problem so that future generations may be free this curse.
I've been buying KN95 masks from this location since the pandemic started. Recently I came across a defective batch. Unfortunately, response from the manager and the owner was basically tough luck. Their indifference to my predicament was really disappointing. Well, looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere. EDIT- regarding response from owner: You're lack of honesty is really appalling. I never asked for my money back. I requested an exchange for a product that was defective(material & fit), even a store credit would have sufficed. I bought dozens of the same product from this store and never had an issue before.I even offered to bring the product back to the store to show them how defective it was, and they refused to see it.
The staff at this store are amazing - always a smile and ready to help. There are two guys who are the regularly who have helped me a lot - one has blonde hair (can't remember his name) and the other is Ozzy. I went in to get paint today and Ozzy took all the time I needed to help me choose the right types of paint for my project, answer my (many!) questions patiently and with detail, and then helped me carry everything to my car. Always great customer service, they've always had exactly what I need, and they always take the time to answer my questions as a new home owner taking on various projects. I absolutely love this store.
Parcel pickup from here is a nightmare. They tell you to call a number then wait at the back due to their Covid controls but make sure you flag them down at the front door as if you go to the back without physically handing someone your slip you’re doomed. I called their number twice and was told someone would meet me at the back both times.. I waited a total of half an hour, in the end I was only served because someone else had caught them at the front and when they got their package the employee was surprised to see me waiting. I had a similar experience last year, so I’m guessing this is the norm. Yikes.
I agree that they have just about everything in such a small store and that is great and they do deserve a few stars for that but it appears that some if not most staff are reluctant to help and that goes for the manager too. Every time I am there I sense lots of not positive attitudes. Funny that one of the workers openly refused to help when the cashier asked him to help me saying that he is busy so I followed him around and yes he was running away all the time hiding in between isles. Some others are just there though I have seen helpful employees there to when it is one of my lucky days.
Phoned in an order, came to pick it up a day and a half later as they said it wouldn't be ready till end of next day at the earliest. When arrived, they didn't have our order and claimed it was 'not in the system'. I asked if the item was in stock and they said because there's no order, we couldn't get the item and asked us to go home and order it again. I get that curb side pick up has it's challenges, but it was a single item order (a small extension cable), which shows they have many in stock. Pretty silly that they couldn't have just gone and grabbed one.
This is the best hardware store in Ottawa-Gatineau. I'm serious: if you need things around the house to fix a faucet or paint a room or repair a gadget, not only do they have it, but they have more staff per square foot than any retail establishment in the Western world. This is not a fancy-pants expensive store like Preston Hardware, all due respect to them, they have nice things. This is the anti-Home Depot, the anti-Rona, the anti-Canadian Tire: the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's only forty feet from the farthest corner to the cash register.
This is as close to an old time hardware store as you'll find in Ottawa. t That means it's crowded to overflowing with stuff, mostly hardware stuff. The aisles are narrow and the store is small. But the staff know where things are and go out of their way to help. There are clear distancing markings for COVID 19 too. They are not so old fashioned that they are not part of the Home Hardware computer inventory system. That means you will know in advance if what you are looking for is in the store.
Went to pick up a standard pvc pipe with a standard elbow and the owner I believe claimed he couldn’t do anything for me without an item number ... as if it’s my job to know the item numbers of products in his own store.. I even showed a picture of exactly what I was looking for and he still apparently couldn’t help me... terrible customer service will never be purchasing anything ever again and would not recommend it to anyone... clearly this person should not own a business of any sort !
I love these guys. I had about 10 cans of different colours of paint to mix over the course of a couple days and the staff was just awesome. Super helpful, really nice with my impatient and boisterous 1.5 yr old, and hooked me up with a great deal. I love having an old-school hardware store in my hood, they're small, but they've never been without what I might be looking for. I'll take it over a big-box warehouse store any day of the week. love 'em!
I stayed temporarily in the neighbourhood in an AirBNB-like situation. I had a minor repair to do but not tools to do so! The good people of Morris Home Hardware helped me greatly. At first, I bought the wrong item. I was able to return it, no questions asked and the even recommended me the right product instead. Everyone in the store from the cashier, to the experts in the aisle and even the manager were extremely nice to me.
When an item is tagged as being on sale, in my opinion that tag should be honoured, even if it has an expiry date in the very fine print. Otherwise the client just feels rather ripped off. In many retail stores, the operator will indeed honour the sale price as tagged. Not so today for Morris Home Hardware. Makes for an unhappy customer, one less inclined to return to this store rather than the plethora of other options.
Cycled from deep West end for a sale item. They only had one, my lucky day. Got the last one, would have annoyed if I didn't get one after that cycled distance. Would have thought the store would have a few more than just one when it's just a new sales item in their circular. Staff was very accommodating and did find me the one that they had in stock. Question would I shop there again, the answer would be yes.
Dropped off a FedEx package and the middle aged women with glasses and brown hair was very rude to me. I tried to tape my box and she was very rude and patronizing. At one point grabbed the tape gun from me and continued her patronizing rant simply because I was trying to tape my return paper completely? I hope management speaks to her. Everyone else regarding staff I've received help from have been kind.
Great service for skate sharpening in the local neighbourhood. The staff sharpening my skates knew what he’s doing. (I tried a big sports chain at Rideau before and learned later skates weren’t sharpened properly). Its price is lower than the big sports chain, and its service is superior. The staff also kindly showed us that a pair of our skates were sharp enough and we may come back when it needs.
There was a store wide fiasco picking up my fedex package, out of 12 employees I saw, 2 didn't scowl at me, and the manager was clearly the role model for the other 10. Example: I asked for their phone number because employee didn't want to speak to fedex rep through my cell phone. The manage told the employee, whom I'm standing beside, to tell me Fedex should have their number already... AVOID
Local, small foot print store with everything the big box stores stock. I even find hard to get items and sizes when Lowes and Home Depot don't have what I need. They have plenty of staff on hand who never fail to approach the customers and offer assistance. Excellent neighborhood store with everything you need for small and medium sized projects. Why bother driving out to the big box stores?
I had been expecting a parcel and was notified it was redirected to Morris Home Hardware on Wellington Street. It wasn't there but the staff were courteous and tried to be helpful. This store is a redirected package for couriers Fed Ex and Uniuni if they can't deliver at your place. The staff multitask on everything. I highly recommend this Home Hardware Store for your renovations, etc.
Don't go here, worst store ever. I keep asking myself why did I even enter this store? Employees are condescending and disrespectful, but reading other comments over a year ago, I realize the issue is management, same employees and management, who keep siding with employees, wow talk about bad management. I wish I could leave -5 stars!
Rude reception on a Sunday afternoon. I was issued demands relating to service, demands that I wear a mask outside ( I was the only customer ), reminder that I could not go inside ( which was obvious), didn't seem interested in what I wanted though. Not my first experience with that patronizing staff so, back to Preston Hardware I go!
Purchased 4 cans of paint in 2 different colors. 2 cans were way off in color 1 being almost white ( I purchased green), the other 2 also green family were different shades. The manager said they are pretty much the same. No satisfaction, no customer service, he also told me to mix the paint together to make my color? Won't be back.
It's all good at this store until they sell you some garbage that u can't use due to poor quality of the product. Then instead of exchange even when you are willing to pay the difference you get a lesson about how you should have bought more expensive one from the beginning. Yeah right. Why do they sell garbage in the first place?
Great store, everything you could need for household repairs & maintenance plus more. Get your keys copied here. Purolator package pickup location. Knowledgeable and courteous staff that are eager to help with what you need and are passionate about home improvement. Thanks for the many years of great service, staff of Morris HH!
I like this store, as an urbanite I can't get to the box stores easily. I actually prefer not having to walk miles to find what I need, they have it all, including some quaint kitchen things and high end pots and pans. Staff has been super helpful each time, and if you call they'll tell you if they have the item. I'm a fan.
You can find just about anything here! I was here almost everyday while doing renos for a restaurant for parts for electrical, plumbing, wood working etc. So useful to have this in the neighborhood when you don't want to take time to drive to the big box stores! Friendly and helpful staff as well! Shoutout to Mike!
We love small and local. The staff is always super helpful. You always have what we need and if you don't you always offer alternatives or suggestions. During Lockdowns you provided great online shopping and curbside service. The prices are great. This is our 'go to' hardware store. Thank you for everything!
Doing everything I can to support my local business hence why I attended this store! I was so disappointed with the poor customer service and the arrogance displayed by this elderly lady who seem to have no professional skills whatsoever! Definitely never ever going back to this store. Shame!
Just moved to the neighbourhood and this hardware store has been a blessing. Our old place has thrown us for a few. Staff have been amazing at answering our questions and providing us with affordable solutions. It's actually fun to shop here. Can't wait to check out the downstairs.
Knowledgable staff. Large selection for a small space. During the pandemic, they were the only place that allowed walk up purchases, which meant you didn't have to wait days, and you could see stuff before buying. Very thankful they're here. Competitive prices.
So I came in to buy some water hose attachment and lightbulbs and this cute female employee helped me out. She not only found what I was looking for but also stole my heart lol if she's single and down for a date add me on Instagram beenjammin88 …
Despite being a cramped and somewhat clunky shop, it still gets the job done and the people working here are very friendly and helpful. At least Home Hardware is a Canadian brand that is still surviving and the independently owned locations deserve support.
I've been here several times now since I moved to the area and they're always polite & friendly towards me, (& my well-behaved, little dog) and helpful whenever I have questions or need to reach something.. and I always manage to find what I'm looking for!
Good selection considering their limited size. Good location, but limited parking. one of the few stores to not have crazy mark up despite its location. friendly knowledgeable staff. Multiple services on site, concluding FedEx, and scuba gear facility.
Great service and staff whom will bend over backwards to help you. Has an incredible selection of hardware, tools, supplies, etc for a local hardware store - there hasn't been anything so far that they haven't been able to provide. Highly recommended.
Terrible customer service, overwhelming location to visit, and impossible to get near if you're in a car. Floor to ceiling packed with things, and the adage of trying to fit a FedEx pickup and Dive store means they end up being mediocre at them all.
Tried to locate a specific plumbing part by calling and was essentially treated with contempt by manager. My experiences shopping there in person in the past had been fine, but after this experience I doubt I will continue to give them business.
They have always had anything I've needed, no matter how random. The staff are always able to pinpoint where I'll find what I need. So fortunate to have this store right in my neighborhood! Shop local and help keep this a walking neighborhood!
I always find what I'm looking for in that little store. Don't expect to find bigger items like you would from the bigger chains but for everyday small repairs and Renos, this store has it. Service and professionalism is always up to par.
Good service! Friendly staff. Its my go to place to get keys cut, they have a slightly limited selection, but wide breadth of tools and gear. Scuba shop also has lots to offer! Come check them out for dive trips and certification courses
The staff was SO helpful! I needed specific hardware for a project I was working on, and one of the sales associates was very patient and spent at least 15 minutes helping me find the right things. Great neighborhood hardware store!
I've been shopping at this location on an off for years always pleasant informed knowledgeable helpful staff. A bit crowded but then I've found most Home Hardware stores are. If you don't see what you want don't be afraid to ask.
This place is sooooo gross. I cringe every time I have to pick up a parcel at this location. The store is clearly run by a hoarder and the back area where parcels are picked up feels like a death trap. Service is hit or miss.
The gentleman at the front counter gave off very interesting vibes. No manors, snarky, impatient and just down right rude. I know it's minimum wage but at least pretend like you want people to shop from the store you work at
This is the most disorganized and messy home hardware store I've ever been in. The staff were not helpful at all and completely apathetic, I doubt this business will exist in a few years unless they make some major changes.
If Morris Home Hardware doesn't have it, I'd be surprised. Cramped aisles, floor to ceiling stock. The staff seem to know where the oddest things are stored. Saved my bacon more than a couple times. Highly recommended.
The store is meh. very overpriced, and low stock. Maybe covid has something to do with it... Buckets are 5$ at home depot. Here buckets cost $8.49...ouch. 5$ for a 4 pack of dollar store aa batteries. You get the idea.
I consistently have positive experiences at this store. Many of the staff here offer to help and are normally quite knowledgeable. It is a small space but the customer service has been exceptional. Good vibes.
I love this hardware store. I don't think it has changed in the 40 years I have been a customer so it is still a perfect place to find the bits and bobs of hardware you need for around the house or garden.
It is the best hardware store as far as I'm concerned that has been there for the people I think since as far back as I can remember. It has only gotten better. Thanks for being there Home Hardware!!!
Had some good service in the past but went recently and the young lady gave me beyond poor service. I try to encourage local store, but that experience gave me doubts that I'll go back to that store.
Awesome customer service! I was looking for a very specific fitting for my faucet and the gentleman took time to listen to what I was looking for and he help me find it. Very appreciated, thank you!
The place is too small for everything they have. It looks like a mess. Some of the paint cans are VERY old. You can tell because the manufacturer's designs on paint cans change from time to time.
The worker, Marline, was very helpful, looked for what I wanted, found it and ordered more for me before I paid. She said to check in on Friday, they may be on. Thank you Home Hardware. Geraldine
Racist employees and management. NEVER EVER COMING HERE. WORST STORE! Never have I had such way of treating people. Color of your skin matter at this Westboro shifty property of shifty store.
Not the biggest hardware store but they have most of what you could need. Unfortunately some of it is locked away behind cabinets and the staff are chatty so often not around to open them.
Small store but so many things inside. And they were very helpful. 2 sales guys helped us with our questions very quickly. Always go here for those hard to find things. Do recommend!!
A man by the name of Will was amazing and helped me what I needed and that was to get the correct cut for plexiglass for my window and air conditioner..: thank Will for great service
Truly a fantastic local hardware store. Despite its small size I have yet to go there and find that they don't carry what i am looking for. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Went in to buy some nuts and bolts the other day, pretty good selection and price on what I bought. Way better to spend money here than at the Crappy Tire or Homeless Despot.
Staff seem very frustrated with Covid restrictions and get rude to waiting customers. But I have also had great service so guess it depends which staff is working
The store manager honors warranty like no other. They have good communication with the factory and stood behind products they sell. It was much appreciated.
Never had an issue here, always helpful. If they're out of stock, they'll simply order it. I recommend looking at their website(inventory) before going.
Manager is condescending towards employees in front of customers. There is laws that exist to protect employees. Employees gave excellent service
This is a great store with so much stock and variety, and people who help you get the most out of your shopping. Truly a local treasure.
Staff are always helpful. Small store so not a lot of inventory, but they always have what you need for daily things around the house.
The store looks small from the front but it absolutely packed once you’re inside. Staff has always been extremely helpful & friendly.
Staff is very helpful and responsive to customers, however lacks the size to carry a proper selection of items in a variety of sizes.
Small neighbourhood hardware store with personalised service. Took a few things I needed to replace and they helped me find them
Always polite, sometimes cheaper for certain items. Bought cribbage board for 10.00.. wooden too. Amazon 17.00. SHOP LOCAL!!!!
If you cannot find it: ask. Amazing how many little things are tucked in behind something else. Staff are like a comfy family.
Staff is always exceptionally friendly and helpful. I love how the store carries almost everything, even if it is only one.
Always helpful, pleasant.Support your local businesses. If there is something you can't find, you most likely will find there.
This my go to location because the staff there are very helpful and friendly. They're easy to talk to and welcoming.
Staff here were extra friendly and helpful. The store is a little cramped so they're happy to help you navigate it!
It's amazing that they can fit so much into such a little store and the workers know exactly where everything is!
Love this place. They're so friendly and helpful, even if you're just getting a key cut or buying a few screws.
Looks small but the inside carries alot of stuff. The staff is helpful and willing to help every time.
Staff is ALWAYS helping, and knows where everything is. This small store has everything a big box does
This little hardware store has everything for apartment living - no need to go to a big box store.
Small place. Packed with stuff. And well staffed with people who know stuff. What's not to like.
Poor customer service. Things are hard to find in the store, you ask for help and no one comes.
Well stocked for size, friendly staff. I can always find what I need here at reasonable prices.
Love this store i always find what I want and I love the one on one personal customer service!
Always experience great customer service and surprised at how much they pack into the store!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's small but perfect for a neighbourhood hardware store.
Staff could care less and when i made them talk to me i got bad misinfo from a know nothing.
Went for a key cut ,staff were very attentive to my needs.great customer service from all.
Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They have a good selection for such a small store.
I never got really shopped here but I see a lot of traffic in and out on my bus trips
Small place but it does have a lot of hardware options. Good neighbourhood option.
Great local store. I'm always amazed how much stuff they have. And quality.
