Morrisons, Fishponds. I used to love shopping here, a couple of times a week, but now try and avoid it sadly, there are never any hand baskets on entry to the store. On my last 3 visits I have had to walk through the hand basket tills to get one as none by the door or by the security gates, frustrating when you walk with a walking aid and have to push through the hand baskets tills, the wrong way, to get a basket! Even worse when the 1 member of staff on duty tells you off for not being in the queue for the tills and for coming in the wrong way!! Once is a slip up, but three times is not acceptable! After finishing shopping 20 mins later, there were still no baskets! Seems to be a lack of staff, albeit those you have are usually found in a huddle, chatting! Why oh why does the Evening Post papers have to be do far from all the other papers, esp when you have to push through people queuing for cigarettes etc to get to them! Also having to slalom through fresh food aisles because of loaded crates with no staff in site and empty shelves as produce still in crates - surely this is a h&s issue on account of food warming at least yet alone a challenge for disabled people like me! Lack of selection / empty shelves certainly down to deliveries not being put out in a timely manner. A few weeks ago I was carrying a hand basket when the zip on my bag got caught in it, I went over to the self serve conveyor belt so I could at least rest it on there and was struggling for a good 10 minutes with no staff in site. I then spotted one and asked for help, before I could explain what had happened she was walking away saying, sorry I can't help you. I ended up calling to a male staff member who struggled with me, found something to prise the zip off, which, unfortunately snapped the zip pully, but I was just pleased to be free! I haven't been in cafe for a long while as staff clearly aren't happy in their work and by the time our breakfasts were served our coffees were cold!
This review is for the Morrisons site in Fishponds Bristol. Today I've experienced the very unprofessional behaviour of the morrisons employees towards myself and another customer. First the self-service cashier was shouting at a customer because he was rude to her even after he was leaving and after when I went to ask if they could tell me the price of the microwave that didn't have the price on I've been told that I should take the microwave to a cashier and ask them to pass it to tell me the price and when I said that I don't want to lift a microwave and carry it to the cashier if maybe they can use a scanner to tell me without having to move the microwave the lady in a very annoyed tone informed me that she is not allowed to flit havy stuff. In the end still with a face that look like I've asked her to climb the Everest she manged to tell me the price. Sorry but as far as I'm concerned part of the price of the products I buy is due to the service that I receive in the shop. If this is the attitude towards a customer then the brand should rethink their prices. I've been in that role myself and the first thing they teach you is that you have to maintain control of your emotions and always be polite and helpful towards the customers even on a day when the only thing you want to tell them is to F... Off.
I went last Friday afternoon at 4pm for the first time just to try a new supermarket other than my usual. I wanted to like it. The selection was good with lots of vegan & ethnic products but omg it was dirty! I wanted to clean the shelves & sort the place out. Washing up liquid spilt on the floor & just left with a cone by it should have been cleaned immediately. Bags of flour burst on the shelf & just left. Mouldy lemons amongst the produce, a lot of which looked very unfresh. I only saw one staff member on the shop floor stacking milk. A lot of the produce had no price labels or the wrong ones, so check carefully. Also check the sell by dates as I saw several examples of unrotated stock. The shelves were dirty & the donuts display was gross. The store was not that busy but as I left an hour later it was very very busy with people entering non stop. It must have very poor management who need to use their profit to take on more staff & sort the place out with a good clean. I will keep to my usual supermarket as at least it is kept clean no matter how busy. I have worked in retail myself for several years & never seen a shop as unclean as this. I wonder what the back storages are like! On the plus side both young ladies monitoring the entrances were pleasant & helpful.
Woke up with terrible cold symptoms having gone through my usually well stocked medicine drawer at home found that although still stocked up all products were out of date (it's been a few years since I was unwell)! So no choice but to do quick restock b4 I started work. I used to to work in retail so know its annoying when people feel the need to spread their germs so I went in just after 7am to avoid coming in contact with anyone. I couldn't remember how many packets of cold and flu tablets I was allowed so thought I'd ask b4 I went to pay. Took a while to find someone and when I did and with being mindfull not 2 get 2 near her said 'excuse me is it one or two of these I'm allowed?' woman snapped back 'its 2!' I felt like saying so sorry for troubling you but as I had barely any voice left plus she had already walked off. Maybe there was a sign on shelf I sld have seen but it in my tired state I didn't c it. Morrisons really do need to teach their staff how to treat customers, if I'd treated customers like that in any place I worked I'd have been in so much trouble! The one star is for attendant on self serve who quickly authorised sale of medicines and seemed grateful I stepped well away from her so she could do it without being 2 near me!
I went shopping on Saturday 12th June, it was around lunchtime and I was very pleased to see there was actually salad items still available as lately if you go in any later than 11 am the salad shelves are empty, obviously people buying more as the weather is warmer but I would have thought it would make sense to order more ! Anyway maybe that has now improved. I understand because of COVID etc etc there are problems but on that Saturday the queue was right down to the end of the aisle, I started to time it as it was obviously going to be a fairly long wait…..wasn’t I right it took 26 minutes for me to get to the till, I had quite a bit of frozen food so it probably wasn’t in a good state especially as it was such a warm day. I did go and ask a member of staff ‘if there were staff to put on the tills’ I think there were only 3 open, to be told by a young lady. ‘ if I had staff to go on the tills I would, lovey ‘! First, no apology and second please don’t call me lovey……..very condescending, very off hand and rude. There does seem to be a shortage of some items fairly often, can we put that down to COVID and problems of distribution Other than that meat, fish, deli all good.
This store must be the most unhygienic, unsanitary store in fishponds to catch a virus or get food poisoning, from very poor, stale unsafe to eat goods. There is a very unpleasant smell around the raw food areas. I’ve been poisoned 3+ times from eating poisonous meat and stale vegetables which were all in date…The store is filthy dirty and bacteria lurk everywhere. The shelves are always empty too. If you are wise I would avoid this store at all costs not just for your money, your health too! Why do you think the restaurant is doing half price breakfast? Because the food is stale, old and cold. They’d rather risk poisoning somebody than dispose of it properly! The staff are very rude and unhelpful in most cases and the security staff are impolite, offensive and bad mannered. Think twice before you visit Morrisons Fishponds…I hope you learn from my experiences as this store is unsafe and most likely to cause you danger, harm or loss…
Shopped here today and had to use the self checkout for my trolley full of goods, never again. I discovered that they are charging 60 pence for a carrier and asked for it to be removed as they can keep the bags at that price. The poor member of staff running from basket self serv to trolley self serve just not enough employees. The cancellation of the bag fee failed and was advised to move to another till so repacked the trolley and started again. re-scanned over £50 of shopping and found that 2 items that we supposed to be 2 for £3.00 went through at £2.25 each and then had to get them cancelled, what chaos I spent as much time at the self checkouts as I did shopping. Please employee more staff on the shop floor for the self service customer experience as the poor employee on there today could do with 2 persons for your set up and a shoe allowance as they were running from pillar to post.
If I can I would’ve given it a zero stars, worst customer service staff ever, this rude staff kept staring at me up and down and kept mumbling stuff about me like I didn’t notice while staring and was throwing the groceries at me when she could’ve simply just put it down on the table with slight push, this made super uncomfortable, and that lady is a black woman with pink hair, I saw her today as well and she was gossiping about a customer to another customer and that person she was gossiping about didn’t even finish picking up her groceries yet but obviously she couldn’t keep her mouth shut and started making snarling comments, if she doesn’t like her job or the people then QUIT instead of making us uncomfortable and obviously Morrison will hire such rude people to represent their business not surprised
They rarely ever have enough stock unfortunately. Don't attempt the bathrooms it's not worth it and I've heard some very damaging stories from the staff about what goes on there. Overall the staff are great considering their working environment. However there was one worker that seemed to be on a power trip at the start of the pandemic when they had a weird queueing system for the tills. She stopped me and got in my face when I went to grab something from one of the isles being used as a queue (no one was queueing) without going round the maze first. Given the social distancing standards at the time this was highly inappropriate at the very least. Luckily I haven't seen here there again so hopefully she is no longer employed.
Pre ordered food for a funeral and collected it at the time stated when completing order online. They told us they couldn't fulfil some of our order and offered us alternatives. You would have thought they would have contacted us to let us know some of the items wouldn't be available, I placed the order over a week before hand, so plenty of time to inform us. Why pre order when a member of staff is just running around the store collecting items when we get there to pick it up?? We also didn't get the quantity of one item that we had ordered, only one packet instead of two. The food went down well and everyone enjoyed it. Just a shame we didn't get all the items that were ordered and neither the correct amount.
Spacious and well looked after shop with everything that you may need, vegan/vegetarian options too! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because on my last visit there was no carrier bags and as I asked member of staff at the self checkout for a bag, he told me that they had none. Not a big deal its not the first time I've seen a shop run out of those, but when I asked him for any kind of bag he told me that he had none so I've asked him if there are no bags in the entire shop and he was gonna send me somewhere to look for the bag but then went to get it really dragging his heels. Very unprofessional and unhelpful but I assume its just one of those days. Otherwise brilliant experience!
I am a frequent shopper of morrisons and I rely on this store quiet heavily for my weekly shops, I was a bit confused though as to see activists outside over this past weekend. Once talking with them they enlightened my to the abuse that morrisons is exerting onto to chicken in their supply chain, it's all to do with a better chicken commitment? Something that ensures the breeds of chicken they sell are lawful and adequate for the broilers to have a semi-good life before becoming food for us. It is deeply upsetting to see that they do not care for their customers wishes for good welfare produce, guess I will have to find a new retailer that wants to value their customers :(
Opening times need changing to reflect what the management here do! E.g. if you arrive 10 minutes before closing they will not let you in. Actually I arrived 11 minutes, at 3.49pm just for lactose free milk for my toddler who has allergies. The manager was at the door I suggested a few things that would give them peace of mind that I would be out before closing time. I offered manager to get it for me, security guard to come with me but nothing. Terrible manager. Dark haired bloke on a Sunday. This is a daily thing they do as I have been there and when exiting the store I see people who are arguing the same thing as they are being denied entry dur8ng opening times.
Clean and good produce. Only bad thing is, the self scan tills. Always full, always beeping at you with a red flashing light, so you have to wait for a member of staff to help. Would use the normal tills, but there's only usually a couple open. Cafe more than understaffed, and the quality of the food shows it. Poor girls were soo run off their feet, it's a wonder they had time to breathe. Only 2 of them working the lunch time rush, one of them looked like she was about to walk out. Don't even know how they got to go to the toilet or had a break. You need more tills open and more staff Morrisons, or your staff and customers will go to other places.
The store was disgusting, floors look like they have never been cleaned, trolleys for babies not left under cover like the rest of the trolleys and were stiff and wouldn't love so ended up with a normal trolley that I had to put the car seat in. Womens toilets were not open (looks like they were being gutted, no sign to say anything about what was going on) so used baby changing toilet and was vile rubbish every where looked like it hadn't seen a cleaner all day. No-one at customer service desk they had to get someone to call another person. Was staff stood around on their phones I'm very shocked for a morrisons store.
At one time I would have happily recommended them but lately they are getting really sneaky when it comes to produce placement on the shelves, prime example is putting the larger 600g packs instead of 450g packs of chicken mini fillets on a clearly marked 3 for £10 shelf and if that isn't bad enough, telling customers they'll get 500 points for buying a block of cheese and not honouring it at the till is plain taking customers for a ride. Morrisons, you should be really ashamed of yourselves ripping people off like this, the cost of living is bad enough as it is for some if not most people without you adding to it.
Used to be great, the last 5 times I've been there was only a couple cashiers and the self-serving. More people waiting than shopping. I don't want to use self-serving by principle: you can't ask me to do the scanning and bagging and make me having to get used to what to click when for the same price than going through a cashier, someone knows what to click, I get 5 min chat whit a person and makes it all easier and comfortable. You want me to service myself? I want a discount for the work you're not doing. Until then, I want a person to talk to.
The staff are rude. The cafe is ridiculous. Does anyone actually taste the filth sent out of this pit. After a disgustingly long wait, what arrived wasn't fit for the dustbin. Dumps like this shut down all the local small businesses, then offer really low quality, inferior produce. Absolutely appalling. The super market itself sells low quality produce which all appears to be close to the use by date. I can highly recommend this place to dieters or those looking for a fun day of fasting, you certainly wouldn't want to eat the filth on sale.
Saturday evening shop. Very poor service, no tills open, had to self serve a whole trolley of shopping, on till with the belt not working. Had to wait umpteen times for items that wouldn't scan to be corrected. Was approached in the car park by someone with a story about having no money because.... It appears my car was dinged by a another car door. I would emphasize that the minimal amount of staff that were available, were doing the best they could. IMO management techniques of this store seems to have declined over the last few years.
popular supermarket chain in the UK. The store offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, groceries, household items, clothing, and electronics. One of the standout features of Morrisons is its extensive selection of fresh produce, with a particular emphasis on locally sourced products. The store has a dedicated section for fresh fruits and vegetables, which are arranged neatly and clearly labelled for easy identification. You can also find a variety of freshly baked bread, pastries, and cakes in the in-store bakery.
It's OK, but expensive compared to either Lidl or Aldi who are either side of this store! Cafe and toilets need an update, which if they had, would make it more appealing and offer something better that neither Lidl or Aldi have? Toilets never have soap. You're lucky if they've got toilet paper. Cafe staff are lovely but food has definitely gone down hill recently, compared to how it was a couple of months or so ago. Come on Morrisons. Get with it. Make us want to visit and spend our hard earned money in your store!
Fairly busy at about one ish in the afternoon. I noticed that they did not have the hygiene station inside the store. I might have missed it outside the store perhaps. Quite a good supply of foods/ groceries, but quite a long line at the customer service counter, which was not very socially distance. The salad counter is back to self-service, but you have to follow guidelines on how to use it. The person behind the counter could use some customer service training, otherwise quite a pleasant experience
Use to enjoy going to the coffee shop here but last 2 visits have not been great. Staff constantly complaining they are to busy had to drink out of cardboard cups as not enough staff to cope with emptying dishwasher. Tables not cleaned. Shop itself is going downhill there are never bags for the veg. Staff not very helpful and rude if ask for a price at help desk they tell you to que up at till to get it. Management really need to sort these issues out. Such a shame as quality of products is great.
I really like this shop. It has a good fish and meat counter, which seems to be a bonus over other supermarkets. The choice is good and the prices are reasonable. I never have any issues with parking as they have plenty of spaces, with mother and baby ones as well as disabled, which they all do nowadays. I like the way the store is set out and also that it's smaller and more comfortable than say, an Asda. The patrons are a good mix of cultures and if you want something different, give it a visit
I've been shopping here for years...early in the morning usually..it's near work. Some friendly staff..BUT recently I've been followed all over the supermarket by security in a not too subtle way. It's been irksome being treated like a potential criminal. Last straw today - they asked to see my receipts. I'm not going back. I don't deserve to be treated in this manner - no one does. Look to your recruitment policy. You've got some very discriminatory staff.
Morrisons, you claim to 'make good things happen', but you sell Frankenchickens..... Over the weekend I saw animal activists outside this store talking about the appalling treatment of broiler chickens in your supply chain. I've been seeing bad press about Morrisons chickens for more than a year now, why are these activists being ignored?! You must sign the BCC as they are asking, and you must do it now! Stop letting animals suffer.
A friend and I went yesterday to have breakfast and do a shop. During our last visit, I found they had a mobility scooter for customer use. This was great as I'm recovering from foot surgery and unable to walk very well. Because of this, we left the wheelchair at home. On arrival, the one and only scooter was out of use. I managed to get to the cafe and back on crutches but was unable to do my shopping. Very disappointed.
Aisle 21 please fix that flickering light - bad for epileptics and it triggers migraines in me. It's been like this for months. I go to this supermarket solely to buy 3 things Clarence Court duck eggs but often not in stock and oxtail for the dogs also frequently out of stock. I do buy meaty bones as well but I like to give the dogs a change. Sort out your stock levels as this is an ongoing issue for at least 2 years.
For some reason ,I Feel this branch a bit congested and not organised compare to Cribs causeways.I had to come in this area for some reason and thought this Morrison would have same basic things as cribs but I was annoyed not seeing anything organised and less helpful staff. Saying that all Morrisons are not same, 1 star for fishponds branch only. However Morrison is one of my first go to place for all groceries.
Horrendous place to shop, never any baskets in foyer, self service for trolleys just not fit for purpose, forever saying remove item from bagging area and there's never any staff on hand to sort out. Also today wanted lunch and cafe had no china cups all in the wash and was told wed have to wait a while, so left and I will NEVER shop there again, shame as other Morrisons are so much better
love your butchery, was delighted when several basic meats were reduced to go in freezer! just sorting out my handbag receipts etc. and noticed my reductions didn't come off at till again( this used to be a regular fault a while ago) as not driving now only manage to shop there occasionally .unfortunately dustman has been but have got 2 receipts butchery may have record from that date
Has the best rating for their Tiramisu, so had to try it & was not disappointed, highly recommended. I usually shop other more local supermarkets generally but found their selection, organisation, helpfulness of staff and the whole Click & Collect experience excellent. They also have a huge car park with lots of free spaces. Overall highly recommended for everyday food shopping.
I am incredibly disappointed that Morrisons have such awful animal welfare standards. After seeing groups of activists gathered outside the store, I wanted to find out more and went home to do my own research. The amount of bad press that I found was shocking. I can't believe Morrisons are continuing to cause so much harm to these poor animals and refusing to do better.
Went for full English breakfast and americano coffee, prompt service, but like all Morrisons after being bought out just a little low on staff hence why there is food debris left on the floor, tables aren't cleared and wiped regularly like they used to be, the owners of Morrisons need to inject more money so each store can have the staff necessary to serve the public.
I like shopping at my local Morrisons. It’s much better than Sainsbury’s where I used to go before we moved as it still has fresh fish and meat counters. Also it had a cafe which are all closing down at Sainsbury’s. I was debating whether to give 4 or 5 stars, as the quality of the rotisserie chickens they sell isn’t great and I took one back for a refund once.
I saw some activists at this store on Sunday 26th March. Upon talking to these individuals I found out that Morrisons buy chickens who are bred in the most appalling conditions, and are bred in such a way that the poor little birds suffer horrifically. Honestly Morrisons, I thought better of you, you really dhould Make Good Things Happen for these poor chickens
I love morrisons I have been shopping at this place since I was teen ..great food great supplies and I love the Morrison's cafe big breakfast great food great taste and but dissatisfied that they don't give you tissues while you eat they gave us kitchen roll and little sad to see how Inflation has affected and how the company is trying to cut costs
I saw some protesters outside this store at the weekend. They informed me that Morrisons sells Frankenchickens (chickens bred in awful low-welfare conditions). They were campaigning for Morrisons to adopt the better chicken commitment so that we as customers know that they care about these animals. Come on Morrisons "make good things happen"
What I really like about Morrison's their petrol station. Always or almost no queues, a part the fuel issue of the last few weeks. Also I really like paying directly on the pomp instead of going to the shop. With Covid-19, it's safe for me and everyone else involved. Unfortunately there's not a lot of them available. Great …
I love this Morrison's. It's my fave "big shop" location in Bristol... I enjoy the bakery section, especially the doughy bread rolls that remind me of the type from back home (the north!) Great deli and cheese counters... amazing veggie/vegan selections... It's always great value, nice and modern, never too crowded. Big thumbs up
Cafe! Appalling customer service. Ok, you may be short staffed, but why take it out on the customer? The person(!) who served me would have got the sack if I was the manager. Be thankful you have a job! You may be the only person some people see all day, so take a big breath, SMILE, and remember the person you are serving is a CUSTOMER!
It's been a while since my last visit as I usually use Sainsburys. Good selection and good prices. I think the store has had a bit of a makeover as the lighting has improved and the shelves are well stocked. I got a bit of Christmas bits today and was very pleased. No waiting at the checkout is always a bonus. I will use again no doubt.
CAFE Julia was amazing at dealing with a problem and went above and beyond to correct the issue. She was polite and very helpful. Credit to her. On the other hand was christine who was not very good at cooking and left us waiting to be served. Julia stepped in and served us. Julia needs to be praised and is a credit to you
Today was enjoyable... especially on a Saturday before Xmas! I saved £8.35 on a 14 item shop. Chickpeas had increased in price by about 12p a can but these erratic price changes are becoming commonplace now. Straight to a checkout, helped by a friendly member of staff, no problems parking. About 35 minutes door to door.
The worst supermarket I've been in, staff are run off their feet as self service tills are old and constantly breaking. Only 1 member of staff to manage whole self service area and often only 1 till open in the staffed payment area even when long queues. Not the staff's fault but I get better customer service in lidl
I always thought Morrisons had the highest welfare standards for their meat. However, I was appalled to learn from a protestor that their boiler chickens live in terrible conditions. I’m not against people eating meat but at least let’s have some standards of welfare. Come on Morrisons. You can do better than this!!
Very nice, but I am particularly distraught at the lack of frozen fruit. This time last week, the frozen fruit had a wide and tasty range, when I came in today all I saw was frozen bananas and blueberries which quite frankly no one likes. Please do better Morrisons I can not live without frozen fruit …
Went on a random trip in the quest for Tizer. My friends and I found some! Also a few other things which I had thought had disappeared from sale in other shops. Store was clean, easy to park a car and was a nice visit. Also found the elusive knorr pork stock cubes that have been missing for a few years.
Great choices, good prices don't restock certain things as quickly as I'd like. Empty spaces. I've been in the last 3 days but when I've enquired the staff don't know either. It would be good if upper management could let the floor staff know information. Apart from that one gripe. Great..
It WAS a nice place, they HAD good meal deals I would recommend - for just £3! Unlike the other supermarkets I HAD never conveniently come across a lovely salad bar such as the one in fishponds. They sell nice cheese. WAS a very good underrated supermarket. You're not missing much now.
Great choice of produce. Friendly staff.....when you can find one! Ample parking and the occasional £5.00 off voucher. All good except......it is absolutely freezing in-store, wear a coat, hat, gloves & thermal underwear of you plan on doing anything more than a quick dash in for milk!
Well stocked with a good selection of items. The fresh produce all looked good with plenty of stock. Butchers and fishmongers sections looked good. As does the bakery section. World food area has a wide selection of brands, better than most supermarkets. Will certainly be coming back.
Substituted an item half the size of what I’d ordered and charged me more for it. Called to get it refunded, the wait time for someone to pick up was 30 minutes long and they disconnected the call after all that waiting before I could get anything resolved. No attempts to call back.
Haven't been to Fishponds Morrisons for a while, but it still suffers from the same issues that it always had. A good store, but it has terrible shelf edge pricing, plenty of stuff out of stock and more tills non staffed than are in use. Not a great experience all round I am afraid.
Having seen activists outside this store, I was shocked to discover the awful conditions that Morrisons’ chickens are being kept in. I will not be purchasing from Morrisons until they adopt the Better Chicken Commitment and achieve better standards of welfare for these animals.
The guys working on the fish counter are valuable staff to morrisons great service, very knowledgeable and very helpful used them for the last 10 years, fresh sardines, beautiful mackerel and very tasty octopus and more very day, thanks for your great service all over the years
Not enough cashiers ques to long as people being pushed to self check out... an update I increased one more star now 3 stars there noticeably more cashiers but the prices are very high and shortage in stock saying this not as a complaint more of constructive criticism. …
Nice location with a large free car park. The store had a fresh bakery and butchers, even a fishmonger to choose from. Also there is a small Cafe inside as well as a pharmacy with good hours for those who work 8am-5pm as this still gives a few hours to pick up prescriptions
It seems people have been highlighting Morrisons' appalling, systematic treatment of chickens over the past year, but no changes yet from the company. Profits first? Think twice before you buy a chicken from Morrisons. You'd be disgusted if you knew what you were eating...
Used to be excellent but not any more. Insufficient staff. Unhappy staff. Not enough till operators. Too many empty shelves. Deli, Salad bar, rotisserie, butchers and, too often, fish counter close about 5:30/6:00 no good for shopping after work. A real drop in standards.
They're always in the middle of sorting out stock, drives me mad when I'm trying to do a weekly shop and most of the stuff is unpacked. Also the staff are always moaning about how bad the management is there. This place never has everything I need on my shopping list.
Have been a loyal customer at this Morrisons for years, but after speaking to campaigners outside your store about the incredibly cruel conditions you house your chickens in I can no longer bring myself to shop here. Do better Morrisons, adopt the BCC today!
Service was quick & welcoming, efficient & friendly staff. Our full English breakfasts were faultless, really good & set us up for the rest of the day. Great value for money! Thank you Morrisons, we will return again one Sunday morning for a repeat.
Was not allowed in the ladies to the floor was . I ask the cleaner to put a wet floor sign . She replied you argue you go I had my grandkids with me. I m a cleaner myself for over 25 years. She was very rude. So I complained to the customer service.
Like that shop. All perfect. All clean. Happy staff..... and then this parking.... every space for car very narrow - or you parking in disabled space- reversing from bay very difficult as distance to car on the other side of road very limited.
Pretty good range of food and items on sale at a reasonable price. Great location and big parking area. Cash machines and trolleys outside. However, toilets aren't great and there always seems to be a problem with atleast one of the toilets.
Following the TV advert fir the £15 meal deal for Valentine's Day, i thought I would purchase it for our 56th Wedding Anniversary, tomorrow but instead of the offer price, I was charged the full price of £24. Watch your receipt folks!!!
What a disappointing supermarket and shopping experience. The shop is generally unclean with multiple wet floors with no signs, so dangerous as well and broken glass around too. The produce section is sparse in selection and worse in
Have seen a few protests outside this store against the horrifying way Morrisons treats the birds in their supply chain. As someone who cares about animals, won't be shopping at Morrison's until they sign the Better Chicken Commitment
My wife and I called in to Morrisons Sunday to buy a few groceries and as we entered the store we were tempted by the sign outside as we had not yet had lunch. This advertised gammon egg and chips for the amazing price of £3. We were
Excellent location combined with petrol ⛽ station ( keeps the lowest prices I've ever seen,if you comparing fuel prices). There's also a hand car wash ,3 ATM'S + vendor cabin for unwanted clothes ( located next to the petrol station)
A nice easy place to shop in! Overwhelming range of goods across a wide range of Customer needs. Add to this well turned out and very helpful Staff, who with even no IQ could complain?! P.S. given the times, great value for money.
Morrison's one of my favourites. I remember when it was "Safeway's".I loved it then too. But at Morrisons I can pick up some things less expensive and just as good as the more expensive stores. You have to shop around.
It was busy. Good place to shop, with good parking facilities. On this visit, it was less busy and the shelves looked a little less well stocked. I was able to get everything we needed. Still like shopping here.
Petrol £1.899 per litre unleaded and air minimum 50p ... even take cash and Google pay on 5th July ... love that there's a carpark outside wash, rinse and go for £4.50 ... no drying just quick and cheap …
Usual supermarket stuff...but if you look a little 'different' be prepared to be closely & clumsily followed around by their ridiculous amateur security...every time you visit. I will never shop here again.
It's a nice supermarket but why does the pizza counter never appear to be active? The ingredients are all there, there's staff on the deli.....but rarely ever can I get a pizza made. What's going on there?!
Meat on shelves literally brown with a use by of today(no discount or label) , when I realised this at the till the assistant they said they would put it back on the shelf . This shop is a health hazard
I deal primarily with the pharmacy and they've always taken care of me, even though I can be a neurotic pain in the rear. The food is moderate to high in price compared to say aldi, lidl b+m Iceland etc
Use to love shopping in this store but they don't open there counters until 10 o'clock I like to shop early so I find it not convinced to shop there any more shame as it's such a lovely friendly place
I saw a demonstration taking place outside Morrison's at Fishponds about the low welfare standards of chickens - they could do much better for animals if they adopted the Better Chicken Commitment.
Brilliant coffee van on cycle track opposite Morrisons. Great bloke who lent me a spanner to fix my bike, couldn't thank him enough. Great coffee too, had his own blend. Definitely worth a visit.
Great shop with plenty of fresh produce. Great little home range too. Got an indoor banana plant for my living room. Toilets fully stocked and clean although the lock on one toilet didn't work.
Wide range of goods, friendly staff and good offers as well as clubcard prices. Slight downside is relatively poor quality of produce. Great value for garden and outdoor products.
Salad bar complete con. Only have expensive smaller containers. If you want it for a family it costs you double because you have to buy two medium. Shameful in time of austerity.
The lovely lady behind till was lovely and so helpful. 2 others meal was red hot but mine was not hot enough. But having said this she did not cook it but was so helpful. Xx
There vegetarian breakfast or brunch are well worth the money. Plenty of food. Very tasty. Recommend. They do a cream tea plus cheese sandwich for just £2 99. Amazing price
there were protesters outside this store. They were campaigning for Morrisons to adopt the better chicken commitment as Morrisons sells Frankenchickens! very disappointing
Awesome place in fishpond to buy necessary items. Price are less compared to other supermarkets. Good infrastructure and self speedy check out queues to get things done.
i visited on march 26th and saw activist outside who informed me of the the awful treatment of the chickens farmed for Morrison stores. will they be adopting the BCC?
Morrisons you've had long enough to reduce your plastic waste now and it isn't going fast enough. The sale of pré wrapped vegetables has to stop. Now. All of it.
Great plants, really healthy and amazing value. Never anyone in the outside greenhouse to pay, it's a shame as have to go into main shop with plants and compost.
Very bad shopping experience only 1 till open and 12 shoppers queueing you've gone from good shopping to bad shopping in one visit lots of complaints from queue
Morison security officer on call was very helpful. They've also got a lot of stuff with proper labelling so it's easy to shop without asking too many questions
Not a lot of food on the shelves, restocking was very slow. Bigger issue NO staff, most had been sent home through Track and Trace. They need a backup plan.
Good prices and lots of choice. Would rather visit here than my local Asda in longwell Green as it often has low stock no matter the day or time u visit.
The best fishmonger in a supermarket around the neighbourhood? Probably. Love to have all-day breakfast in the cafe too. Not bad, and just had 2 at £10!
Café is functional but sometimes the tables are not cleared away quickly. Staff are friendly but can be busy, enjoy the value for money breakfast meal
Your usual great morning! Love shopping at Morrisons as they have the best Frozen Breaded Garlic Mushrooms! Perfect for a quick meal after work!
Had a good breakfast with are granddaughter before she went to a lecture the place was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful
