For all the bad reviews this location got, my 5 day stay was a good to very good experience. It’s not really a place for the family (no pool and in a “questionable” area with many homeless wandering about outside the fences) but for flying solo, it was perfect for me. The office staff (they can come off as stand-offish at first) was respectful and pleasant after being there a couple days. Office is open 24 hours which is important to me as I work nights. My room was clean, all appliances worked great, and was quiet for being close to I-10. It was well lit and the staff wandered the property regularly. It has outdoor cameras everywhere. It has a 6 foot fence all the way around it to keep foot traffic to a minimum. Housekeeping was done every day and that staff was very nice. The deposit is only $20 and I got it back within days after checking out. I will return again when needed. Thank you!

Truck driver, not very much space, Bob tailed, front desk service is unique after provided info prior to arrival. The room seems very nice and clean until I had a good look at another one , my room is unfortunate . At day two I'm not sure why just speculations of race after seeing others come from the rooms no where near me at this point I feel that it's not a mistake or he didn't know and after asking the cleaning lady to wash my comforter she came back with another brown one no need to make a spectacle of myself then I would be what he's already thinking,with that being said I will finish my stay but never again.

The Manager Andy was very rude from day one at check in. Then I get to my room and my bed sheets are very damp and wet still. The floor was wet and smelled like dirty water. I was going to pay for a couple of more nights and because my boss had just landed in San Antonio, I was waiting for him to come pay. Well the manager Andy called the police on me and told me he wouldn't take the credit card information from my boss who I had on the phone. He said it was a brand new policy from that same morning that if the name of the person in the room and the card don't match he wasn't going to accept it. Well I asked him to show me the policy and he wouldn't. My boss said he would show his ID and credit card once he arrived to the motel. Again the manager Andy then said he wanted me to be escorted off property. Now I was not a disturbance, nor did I cause trouble or brother anyone. I believe I was treated disrespectfully for no reason at all. I feel like I deserve a refund or something? That is no way to be treated and I was alone.

I Came to San Antonio for work spur of the moment trip and wind up having to stay overnight I forgot my purse on the kitchen counter therefore had no wallet thank goodness my ID and some cash was in my consul I called numerous motels Trying to find somewhere to stay that would take cash and the amount that I had soon as I would get there their price will change up to 100+ dollars finally I stumbled upon this place after 5 other motels and they were wonderful they gave me the price they said gave me my deposit back the next morning the rooms were nice especially for as cheap as it was nothing was nasty ac was cold beds were comfortable no complaints here at all IHOP and bill miller barbecue place is close not that I had the money to eat there but they were close enough if you need a quick place to crash and food close by even if I had to stay here a few days I definitely recommend.

Stayed here twice within a week. Both visits were great. Clean, quiet and the free WiFi was a nice bonus. The front desk clerk Andy is friendly and accommodating. First time we thought there was something wrong with the tv so we called Andy. He came right up and fixed the issue, which was merely us failing to check if the tv was plugged in lol On our second stay (after requesting it) we were able to get the same room as our first visit. I also like that we've been able to park in front of the front office even though our room was more toward the side/ back of the property. Andy was very accommodating about this when we asked if we could. Walking distance to a Bill Miller's and a convenient store. Reasonable room rates and immediate availability both times we've stayed here. I would definitely recommend this location.

If I can help it, tonight will be my last time staying here. I'm not sure of the man's name, he works at the front desk and cleans rooms as well, but this guy is over charging on a technicality. He comes of rude and honestly he seems prejudice. My Fiance and I have been there a couple of weeks now. We brought it to the attention of this man, that he is charging higher than the rate on our reservation and he hasn't granted us the military discount he argued us down and he has yet to accommodate us. One day, when he saw us, he stopped in the middle cleaning a room to complain to us, claiming it had taken 3 hours to clean our previous room. Not only was he rude at this point, but he continued to taunt us, telling us we aren't kids, then repeating we need to keep our room clean. There was hair left from a hair cut after this same guy had us abruptly change rooms.

Absolute horrible service and room. Booked a room for our son for 09-21-21, who is on its way to his first navy duty station. Booked online, called 4 times to make sure he is not running into issues. Even emailed them an authorization confirmation to charge my card etc. He gets to the motel to find out he has to pay, since there was an issue processing payments. I literally talked to the Manager at 10 AM that morning, she confirmed receiving the email and assured no issues. He was so tired after 13h of driving that he just paid it. Called us from the room and is discussed with it - smoked in room and not very clean. He stays and left early in the AM. No apology whatsoever. Lesson learned! Sadly other well run and clean Motel 6 will suffer because of them.

It was exactly what I expected for the price I paid for. I’ve been at a lot of cheap hotels so this is pretty good considering I didn’t pay much for this stay. The important part is that the sheets were clean and the room was clean. I saw a roach too but as long as it ain’t on my bed it’s whatever. It’s Texas you’re gonna see a roach occasionally. The only reason why I’m deducting a star is because our TV didn’t work and they allowed a homeless person sleep next to the office. It wouldn’t bother me at all back at home but when I’m visiting a place I wanna make sure I can get to my room safely and not scared that my stuff will get stolen. For starters, the desk attendant didn’t even greet me. Just asked for id and cc. I had to ask for my receipt. I entered my room and it stunk like smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. It wasn’t aired out. The bedsheets had terrible stains. Would’ve asked to change rooms but I was too tired and just wanted to sleep. Then our neighbors arrived near midnight and were screaming and fighting and trying to open the joining door to my room. Attendant asked them to quiet down but they would not listen to him and nothing happened-all night long! They had just quieted down when my alarm went off and I had to get up and leave. Terrible experience. Morning clerk was nice.

I would have given all 5 stars because I enjoyed my stay here, (I am currently staying here). The only thing I didn't like is the price of nightly stay is way too much for a 2 star motel. Also the price varies depending on who is working the front desk & which guest is paying. No improvement from last visit. The front desk people are really rude- except for one of them. The youngest man working in front is so helpful. The cleanliness of rooms is HORRIBLE!! I hope I don't get sick because the rooms are so disgusting and infested with bed bugs, dust mites and who knows what else.

Front desk was SUPER rude from the start, he tried arguing with me that “they don’t serve people under 21” even after I showed him my ID he kept trying to argue with me and reject me. Not to mention how dirty and damaged our room was, the bed had multiple stains and the ceiling and bathroom door had holes in it. That area is heavy with vagrants as well so I didn’t feel safe at all and kept hearing strange noises in the middle of the night. Not working outlets/ fridge, mold in bathroom, dirty microwave(only one option to heat "soup button"and dirty bed sheets with bugs, was supposed to stay 2 nights but couldn't, was not a pleassant stay for my family. Office clerk did offer to change rooms but afraid we would experience the same, so just checked out after being there a few hours. Maintainance/cleaning can be greatly improved. Wheelchair accessible room we requested was not even accessible.. couldnt get in the bathroom at ALL… bed wasnt accessible to someone in a wheelchair.. do NOT tell me you have an accessible room when you dont..and i dont mean getting in the room solely.. everything has to be accessible or its false advertising.. also the shady guys working there need to find other places to smoke and deal drugs..will not be back!! Worst service ever. I had a temporary card which I had to use to stay there at told the attendent when I asked about my refund of my deposit. The man at the counter told me don’t worry it will go back to your account even if it’s a temporary card bc it’s the same account. A month and half later I’m being told I can’t get my deposit back bc I have a new card. And that I have to just basically cut it a loss. I call to speak to manager and they give me the run around. Front desk personnel/owner not completely rude but very nonchalant in his attitude towards me and what they offered. Absolutely no free breakfast whatsoever. (It was 10 dollars less expensive than the Days Inn just next door.) Upon arrival to my room I was approached by my neighbor and was asked I'd I was "looking." I informed him that yes I was looking so I don't run into anything while I walked around, which he failed to see the humor in. So I got an ok room, an ok price, got solicited drugs, and got hot brown water for breakfast, enjoy!!

The room was dirty when we got there. A dirty wash rag was sitting there from previous people. Floor needed cleaned. The guy I called there was hard to understand and he gave me a cheaper price but then when I made reservations the price jumped up. The bed sheet was inside out on the bed as well. I wonder if it was even clean or if they flipped it so they didn't have to wash it. It was disgusting. The lever for the shower was also broken and literally fell off in the bath tub. I will never stay at this motel 6 again.

My stay was not very pleasant . Room was not very clean , sheets on the bed were very stained I had to sleep with my own bedding purchased at Walmart that nite . The towels were very gross and when I asked the head housekeeper to give me fresh cleaned towels he handed me towels that look like the floor had been cleaned with the day before . So I felt he gave me rags to dry off with . For the price I paid per nite . Which was 139.00 plus tax I should’ve received better service . Not a very happy customer .

The worst stay in any hotel ever! It was 58*, AND NO HOT WATER. Stayed 1 night and left at 5am. Very ugly hotel. Iwas very disapointed, as well as my wife and daughter. We only stay cuz we checked in at 5 pm, and had a 6am appointment. We couldn't take showers due to cold weather and cold water! We WILL NOT EVER STAY AT MOTEL 6, especially at this Motel6. I checked in at 2pm to a non-smoking hotel and when I got there it smelled okay since they had just finished cleaning. A couple minutes later you can small the tabaco strong which they tried masking with a spray. Within the hour at 3:00pm I was trying to return the room and get my money back but even though it was before cancellation and their non-smoking room reeked of smoke, they did not want to give me a refund. Had to leave for another place and lose my money. Would not recommend for anyone.

Customer service was great, however, the room was not at all. The bathroom tub was filthy that I showered with flip flops on, the shower head was loose and I had to keep tightening it, and the door was loose that it wouldn't close because it wasn't on its hinges. The towels were off white and dingy including the new towels I requested. The bed covers were old and looked as if it was together on its last thread. I will not stay at that Motel 6 location again.

AC did not cool ,went to the office they responded quick and replaced the AC but it wasn't much cooler and shut itself off every hour.there was a phone in the room just for looks lol it did not have a chord or plugged into the wall ,only 1 electric outlet worked

I will never stay there again! The rooms were clean and fairly nice, could use some updating though. The issue was that I overslept, (which never happens!), so, they walked right in, did not knock, and threaten to have me arrested.. SERIOUSLY?! For oversleeping?! I had been on the road for 2 days, car searching!! They did not even want to give me 10 minutes to pack up my belongings.. So, needless to say, worst hotel stay I've had, EVER.

During my stay here,I had a few ups an downs. The housekeepers live on property and are very very nosey, loud, rude, and stay up all night long outside there room doors making it kind of hard to relax.besides that The owner and manager were very kind And helpful. The room was pretty decent but not nice enough for the rate they charge on Fridays/Saturday!! This place could really use some improvements. Maybe even add a swimming pool!

Rooms dirty and damaged, employees rude, had to go to four different rooms and the last the door knob would not stay on the door. told them I wanted to cancel but they only credited 2 of the three days I paid for even though I was there less than one hour. There were a few issues with our room, we were in a non smoking room, but the bathroom smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. Normally not a problem, but my son has asthma. The microwave in our room didn't work. The bathroom floor had water on it leaking from the toilet we assumed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It was a holiday weekend and they were slammed.

There were crackheads and dealers right by the rooms stairs and cars. Didn’t feel safe walking to my room nor leaving the cars in the parking lot. And once we asked for a refund the owner didn’t want to issue one so we had to dispute the charges. Do not recommend staying here unless you are male and don’t give a F.

The location was excellent, close to all areas of the city and to shopping centers and eateries. The rooms, although it needed minor repairs, was excellent. Room service was outstanding and the desk clerk was very helpful and had great people skills. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. BTW, the coffee was excellent!

Mrs. Nancy was so helpful and plesent. Love the staff seems so happy welcoming upon entry to office. I will be returning in few weeks. Se y'all again soon.

The gentleman at the desk was very courteous & processed my reservation very quickly. Unfortunately the room #105 was not so great. The shower pressure was very very low & the bottom sheet on the bed was stained so I slept on the top sheet. Got in late so didn't have time to wait for it to be changed.

Nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel with plenty of rooms, even on weekends. Call hotel directly to make reservations, and secure the room with a credit card. Rooms in hotels are being or have been renovated; most rooms have microwave and mini fridge. Good value for families as well as pet owners.

I love this Motel 6!! My wife and I have been coming here on and off for 2 years now. We always come back to this Motel 6. Andy and his entire work crew are the absolute best. Extremely nice. Very understanding people. We never have problems here and always feel super welcomed!!

This motel 6 has the BEST employees and staff. They always give the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you, Andy and all other staff members. I stay here at least twice a month and highly recommend this motel above all others. The rooms are clean, well kept and the staff is great.

Roaches, bed bugs and even the covers are stained with blood and pee. We also got ripped off our deposit. They accused us of things we did not do to the room. We’re going to be seeking legal action against Motel 6.

We asked for non-smoking and the room smelled awful. I have an 8month old baby and as a parent you don't want your kids exposed to any ugly smells. The shower was not working it didn't shoot water the correct way so we had water everywhere every time we showered.

On the same premises as Days Inn where I stayed hence can't give an accurate review except that the property is clean, maintained and not once did I witness loiterers or negative traffic of any kind. Off property is a whole different world. Peace ✌️ Brian Bruce

After being on the highway all night I just needed a decent place to sleep. This Motel 6 exceeded my expectations. The night clerk was very nice, my room was basic, but clean and appeared safe. For $50 a night it's a steal. I would definitely stay here again.

No bucket for the ice. Had to plug in everything for them to work. No tissue in the holder. Not a very safe door. Did have a refrigerator and microwave. One trashcan In the room.

Mattresses are uncomfortable, blankets are stained, pillows are hard. Deadbolt doesn’t latch. Sketchy crowd, but it is affordable and has the essentials if you are in a pinch. The tv, microwave, and fridge is nice. Update* The tv remote didn’t work.

My family and I enjoyed the clean rooms and cold refrigerator and cold ac . After a long day and looking to relaxe for the night with very low funds , the night staff in office was very generous and was very reasonable on the rate .

We reserved a non smoking room. Room was fine when we walked in, but once I opened the bathroom door, we could smell strong cigarette smoke. Beds were comfortable. We were not fond of the shower, but made do.

Everything was good except the showerhead. Could barely get a decent amount of water to rinse my soap off. Had to use a cup. I think there were coffee stains on the sheet but they certainly smelled clean.

We got two queen beds instead of the king we booked. The wifi signal doesn't reach our room. There weren't enough towels. Other than those small things, it's been pretty nice.
