My son and I had a lovely stay at Mother Bosque. We traveled through Albuquerque during our cross country move with our dog and cat. We tent camped in a garden spot that got shade til about ten am, then we moved over to the shaded kitchen area and kept cool. We visited with Mikaela and Ernesto, who were gracious and interesting hosts, and allowed us to spend a few of the hottest hours indoors. They pointed us in the direction of the nearby high school/public pool, and the also nearby nature center/state park. We really felt safe and cared for, like we found an oasis in the desert. Their permaculture garden is beautiful, and is a certified wildlife habitat. We enjoyed flora, hummingbirds and artwork there. The place was clean and it was nice to have a shower and use of laundry facilities after camping for days. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful couple and treating yourself to an unforgettable experience camping in the city.

We stayed there last week while attending an ISA tree climbing championship downtown. The "discount" rate for hotels downtown for ISA members ( like me) was still around $200 a night, which I could not afford. We reserved a spot here instead to tent for two nights. It was only $45 a night! They were actually pretty full with other campers that first night, but they then let us stay in a room in their house instead, for the same rate, and that was just super with my wife, with a bed and close to the bathroom and shower. Even though those other campers cleared out that second night they let us still stay in that room. It had Wi-fi too. She and her husband were very accomodating!

Mikaela and Ernesto, their home and garden are enchanting. Due to covid, NM has shutdown all their camping sites, so I didn’t know where I was going to stay. As a woman traveling on my own, safety is paramount. It was dark as I rolled into Albuquerque when I found this listing. Mikaela and Ernesto were kind and comforting with their offering a safe space for my pup and I to camp. The hot shower was a dream, especially after traveling two days without one! This self-proclaimed hippie couple are full of love and have created a safe space for travelers. I can’t thank them and recommend them enough. * they graciously accept only Cash as payment.

Had a wonderful quite and peaceful stay at Mother Bosque Garden We got here a little late at night we had just arrived in Albuquerque but they were happy to take us in We are in an RV 28ft and theres plenty of room to park, they had a 110 electric hookup for us to use so we were able to watch TV in the RV. In the morning the hosts gave us a tour of the beautiful garden, which was a wonderful and magical experience. Hosts were friendly and accommodating 10/10 would visit again recommended for anybody who would like to experience something a little different and some peace and good positive vibes in the city We loved it.

This was an amazing place to stay. Even though I did no get the opportunity to meet Michaela, Ernesto was a very wonderful host. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, Every morning Ernesto me fresh ground coffee and helped me make a plan for the day and I was sent on many beautiful drives I would not have known about if I was residing at a Hotel. You will not regret choosing this wonderful place with these wonderful people as your hosts. Their home is your home while you are here. Tammy Mahr

Host went Above and Beyond! I had a very good stay. This was in spite of challenges that I experienced with changes to my travel plans, which were unrelated to the host (flat tire, missing cat, etc.). To help accommodate me, Michaela was very flexible, understanding, and caring, pretty much how one would hope a close family member would be! Thanks for your warmth and for being so helpful during challenging times!

I came into Albuquerque feeling anxious and sad to be away from home but as soon as I arrived at Mother Bosque Gardens I felt instantly soothed and calmed. I felt so safe and protected in their garden and taken care of by the two as they are very lovely people. The set up was very easy! We were happy campers. If you need a place to stay in Albuquerque stay here and you will be pleasantly enlightened!!

I called to check on prices for camping and I thought the lady was being nice at first but then she told me that “people book campsites months in advance” ummm okay. Do you want business or not? Guess not. When she told me there was no room I tried to apologize if I wasted her time and she just hung up on me without even letting me finish my sentence. Very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

We were thrilled to find this sweet oasis. Mother Bosque Garden is the perfect urban camp stop over. Michaela and Ernesto were open and flexible with their home and lovely garden. Homemade cardamom lemon cookies were shared as an amazingly delicious and a delightful way to cap off the evening. They have created a wonderful welcoming space for the weary road tripper.

My husband and I camped here- we pitched our tent in their side yard. It is a beautiful backyard and quite comfortable! The price is good for the hospitality as well as being able to use an actual bathroom with a shower that is limited to 3 minutes. All and all Ernesto was a very nice host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Called to get some information to stay and the lady/owner answered and informed me she was not a rv park just allows people to camp I said oh ok well thank you and she replied "ya whatever " and hung up on me!!! Not very perfessional and won't even bother trying to view or write about this place!

My friend and I were on a road trip and needed a place to stay with showers. Mother bosque was incredibly welcoming providing tent pads, bathrooms, and a kitchen for a great price. The hosts were very accommodating and even mailed back possessions I left behind. Highly recommend!

I visited this magical place. It is absolutely beautiful. During the day the myriad of plants are enchanting. At night the stars and sounds otherworldly. And the healing energy of Michaela and Ernesto brought me back into light. Forever grateful.

Michaela and Ernesto are the best hosts. Their garden is so beautiful and it was amazing to see all the birds freely enjoying the space with us. We loved camping for a night there and definitely recommend it to anybody passing through.

Your images show stuff that you don't have. Then labeling it camp ground. When all it is a back yard. That has nothing to do with camping. False advertising..only the first 2 images correspond to the place. The ones with a mat.
