I went to motionworks after my mastectomy I had pain that travels from neck to all way to my arm and fingers, my family doctor told only physiotherapist can help me but what a disappointment Heather assist me, all she did is ask me to lift my hand up and down and lie on my back and gave me very gentle finger massage, and rest half an hour she gave me hot pack to sit down, I told her all these things I have been doing at home since very long and not helping me, and my pain is not reduced at all but she was failed to diagnose actual root of my pain, also she put me in very cold room when I said room is so cold she said this room is close to window that’s why it’s cold, instead of providing me blanket or putting me in different room, I felt waste of my time and waste of my insurance credit as it did not help me even one percent. I went to Stittsville Carp Road Physiotherapy and found Kalpesh who found ‘what was problem’ and were able to reduce my pain by 80 percent in very first meeting with his best hand technics and made a plan to get back strength of my arm by acupuncture and strength training and exercise plan which worked like magic . I went back to complain about my case but instead of trusting their client they were defending themselves saying they did best even though it was not helpful for me. they trust their employees blindly but not listening their customers it’s your customer who going through pain not employees and they can best let you know result. They made me fool in name of assessment, were failed to tell me why I m having pain and failed to set up plan to make it better, I asked for refund but later decide to just make people aware about them, they will do nothing in first meeting as they want you to keep paying for second but if your physiotherapist is not able to reduce your pain in first meeting most likely they don’t know what they doing. Save your time and hard earn money.

I have had the very best experience going to Motion Works and highly recommend anyone looking for a physio to call this place! I came for help with pain in my hip flexors and side and have seen and felt immense improvement in only a few weeks. The staff are not only super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, but really go a step above to take care of their clients. Having seen a physio in the past at a different location and feeling very unsatisfied, I wasn't sure what my experience would be trying again at a different place. I have been amazed. Cassie has really taken the time to help me understand and explain my injury, given me exercises and guidelines to help me improve at home, and as an active weight lifter she offered to review my program and watch videos of me performing the exercises to ensure that I was still able to do what I love but in a healthy, safe and responsible way. I'm moving better now, understand my body mechanics better and will always come back here if needed in the future. Thank you Cassie and the rest of the team, there aren't enough good words to say about you all. Everyone should come here!!

I had a car accident about a year ago and my sister suggested I see Lindsay at Motionworks. The results have been amazing. The accident unearthed a string of issues, which Lindsay diagnosed and I began working with her to address them. I appreciated that she cared about my entire condition, not just the injury from the car accident, and I could actually do something about a lot of the pain and problems that I had just accepted. Motionworks also took care of the billing and were available to handle any questions I had, which made an already stressful experience MUCH less so. Unfortunately, Lindsay moved however I was transferred to Cassie, who has been AMAZING in maintaining my care and introduced me to dry needling, which has worked wonders!! I still continue my sessions as a maintenance regime. All in all, I would recommend Motionworks for anyone who wants top notch care for their rehab needs (and I have.)

My physiotherapist was Evelyn LaRoche and I am giving her a 5-star rating and a strong recommendation. After being diagnosed with Diastasis Recti after giving birth to my beautiful baby girl, I was worried and a bit depressed. However, after attending numerous sessions with Ms. LaRoche, my muscles are stronger and my spacing and weight has significantly decreased. These results would not have been possible without Ms. LaRoche. She not only assisted me with my problem but just talking to her assisted me with my depressed state, I realized I was not alone. If you are looking for a good physiotherapist - one that would not only help you but would provide support by chatting with you, I would recommend Ms. LaRoche.

I have been to many physiotherapy clinics over the past 40 years, but none have provided me with the high level of friendly, professional and engaged service, care, and treatment as has Motion Works Physio. For over 25 years, I have only used Motion Works for my injury rehabilitations and I have the highest regard for this business and in particular, Physiotherapist Sheila Yeats. I have recommended Sheila to many friends and family and all agree that her energy, intelligence and dedication to her clients' health is outstanding. There is a level of excellence that is expected of all personnel and to a person, they excel in their work and care provided.

Can't recommend this clinic enough! Highly skilled and professional massage therapists and physiotherapists. Under their careful guidance and treatment my chronic pain has been reduced significantly and allowed me to keep up with the physical demands of my job as well as live and enjoy an active lifestyle. After injuring my knee, I went to Motion Works and spoke with Benjamin about my injury and he told me, working together I'll get back to running and playing sports as I was before. He took his time with me and listened and gave me the workouts and programs best suited for me. All my sessions went amazingly well with Ben and I'm doing great and feel amazing thanks to all his help. I would highly recommend going here as the staff are great and courteous and Ben knows what he's doing.

I was referred here by someone and can honestly say I'm not disappointed in the least with the final decision to come here. Every aspect of the business is professional and courteous from the various receptionists to the actual physiotherapists, one of whom i have jokingly dubbed as "healing crystal Heather". If you're looking for physiotherapy in the Ottawa area, and there's many to choose from, i would highly recommend this place.

Motionworks physio is great. Cassie my physiotherapist is amazing. She has helped me when I was in a lot of pain. She is professional, funny and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. I had a shoulder injury that was bothering me for more than six months and it was only getting worse overtime. I was super frustrated with it because I had to stop practicing Jiu jitsu for that while. I’ve tried other physiotherapy clinic, massage, chiropractor, with no avail. Daniel was able to get my shoulder fixed within two months and I was able to get back to Jiu jitsu, I’m super happy!

My experience at this clinic has been nothing but positive. My physiotherapist, Jody, is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. She combines muscle specific exercise, dry needling with hands on physiotherapy. It works. I have had much more progress from this treatment as compared to assigned exercise only physiotherapy I have had in the past. Highly recommended.

I work ten hour days on my feet and was having pain in my legs and feet. I went into Motion Works Physio and was greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cassie assessed and treated me.
