I suffered a pretty traumatic sports related injury to my left knee in January and was not given the best prognosis by an orthopedics specialist after having imaging done. Brigit happened to be working the competition where I was injured and she saw my injury happen first hand. She was beyond helpful in helping me understand my injury and parts of my knee had been effected. During the course of my treatment, compensating for my hurt knee also flared up a previous injury with my hip. Brigit was able to come up with a treatment plan that helped ease the pain and start on the road to recovery with both problem areas. The various treatment options she provided helped me get back on track with the end goal of getting back to training and being able to avoid any surgical procedures. She was also able to consult with and refer me to another physical therpist for additional treatment to help improve my chances for recovery without surgery. I do not believe I would be back to achieving my strength training goals without her knowledge and help.
I am a recent PT myself, and I started working with Brigit a few months after I graduated. She was an instructor during my last year in PT school, and I loved her as a professor because she is so knowledgeable and talented in her manual skills. As her patient, she has not only has helped me with my own aches and pains, but she truly is a mentor and role model and helps me become a better PT myself with my patients. She takes the time to listen to YOUR story and looks at more than just your physical ailment-she looks and addresses the big picture. Her approach is truly a "whole body approach", which is how change happens. She goes the extra mile because she genuinely wants her clients to succeed! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her practice. She is truly one of the BEST physical therapists, and I hope one day I will be able to help others the way she has helped me!
I came to Brigit after an ankle injury that had severely limited my running. The first session she spent an hour and a half learning all about my injury history and working on my ankle. Her approach gave me confidence in the process and made me feel heard. The following sessions lasted around an hour and consisted of mobility work, massage, dry needling, and numerous exercise instructions for home. I felt like Brigit understood how important it was to me to get running again. I appreciated how she encouraged me to run as apart of the healing process. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get back to their sport or needs physical therapy!
I am SO glad I made the first appointment (and all the rest)! For the longest time I had physical issues from various accidents in the past that I neglected. The work done at Motion Works is professional, efficient and custom to each person. I thought I knew what the problem was, but thanks to the knowledge and dedication at Motion Works, I was glad to receive treatments and well-thought-out plans to address and strengthen the issues. Thank you!!!
Brigit has completely transformed my musculoskeletal system! She has given me tools to make my body work in sync. She has top level assessment and evaluations of where your body is and where you could potentially get it to be, by putting in the work of the exercises she provides. She has this art and knowledge of carefully examining what your body is doing right and not so right. I am now able to move without pain and it feels great!
Covers so many bases!! I see Brigit myself, as a weightlifter with nagging shoulder pain. I am also a coach and parent of gymnasts, and am always referring my athletes to be seen by Brigit. Her deep understanding of the body, as well as her great intrapersonal skills for both adult and child athletes is spot on! From injury prevention screening, a variety of custom exercises, massage and dry needling, everything is amazing!!
Brigit is ✨️a w e s o m e✨️ at what she does! I went from a terrible hobble from a fairly nasty sprained ankle to effectively hopping about like a bunny rabbit in a couple of months! She's great at providing challenging exercises that'll get you really working on rehabbing your injury and is definitely and expert in her field. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!
I’ve been seeing Brigit for about 5 years. As a competitive strongman athlete who’s close to 60, having an awesome PT in my corner is critical. Brigit is knowledgeable, friendly, confident and is able to think outside the box to help me heal my injuries, improve my asymmetries and keep me from further injury. She’s really the best!
I’m a 71-year-old who’s been playing baseball and softball for over 60 years and my body has needed physical therapy numerous times. Based on a great deal of experience with physical therapists, I can say that Brigit’s skillfulness and.” table-side manner” are both exceptional. I give her the highest recommendation possible.
Brigit is amazing. She is kind and caring, listens to all about my aches and pains and always has great suggestions for modifications of activities and helpful exercise program that is doable. Her hands on and dry needling skills get me always feeling better! As a PT myself I highly recommend her!
Brigit is a very knowledgeable Physical Therapist. Her area is very clean and organized. She has some of her own personal equipment for you to use, however if there is equipment she doesn’t have in her office you are more than welcome to share SAGAs workout area.
Brigit is an extremely knowledgeable and caring PT! She always takes time to really listen to my complaints and uses a whole body approach to ensure lasting progress. Thanks to Brigit I feel confident again in my ability to move my body without fear of injury!
Incredible care for all physical therapy needs. My daughter is a competitive gymnast and Dr. Barre helped get her back to top form after a few serious injuries/surgeries. She is so patient and relates well to young athletes. We are so grateful!
Brigit is a wonderful physics therapist! She’s very knowledgable, while being able to explain in a way you can understand. She works on all aspects needing to be addressed with the injury/issue. I recommend to anyone who needs a PT!
Brigit is amazing! She has worked on me (literally) head to toe, and kept playing, working, and functional in my every day life. Brigit has an incredible skill set, and knowledge base with which she works miracles!
Brigit is a miracle-worker! I suffered for years with hip issues and she diagnosed me perfectly, manipulated me perfectly, and prescribed exercises that were amazing so that I had no pain. I recommend her totally!
A very intuitive and compassionate practitioner. I highly recommend her services even to the most gentle person.
