I ensured NRMA/RACV had myself listed as the insurance claim contact person and also rang them to set and confirm thati would be the main contact for the claim. I repeatedly told motorserve that i was the contact person not the policy holder (2 in person) and they put it in the notes, yet every update they texted and called the policy holder only to told by them to contact me. The policy holder was not in the accident. If your car is still driveable and they ask you to take your car into motorserve and leave it with them, DO NOT leave it with them, especially if they have to send it off to one of their 3rd party partner repairers. They still need to have the 3rd party inspect your vehicle, provide a quote, get the quote approved by your insurer, order parts then finally once approved start repairing your car. So you will be left without a car for weeks without them even starting work when you could have had your car the whole time. All with no communication from their end unless you constantly follow up or contact the 3rd party. I repeat if your car is drivable get it assessed as repairable but do forfeit your car over for repairs. Take it to your preferred repairer so you can continue using your car. I got my car assessed as repairable then they wanted me to leave it and i said no, what about the parts how long will it take. Then we booked it in for repair a few weeks. When i brought it back they notified me it was going to a 3rd party repairer which they didnt advise me. Once i handed over the car thinking it was in the process of getting fixed it was waiting at the 3rd party for them to do another assessment and quote. Then this had to be sent to the insurer for approval, before they even started repairing it. So i left my car and was without a car for it to sit in a workshop waiting for weeks. If it was to go to a 3rd party repairer motorserve should organise a specific appointment time for them to make the assessment which you can keep the car then take it in for the assessment and then while they lodge the quote for approval you still have access to your car. I made repeated calls to see status of my vehicle to both motorserve and the 3rd party repairer to see if any progress had been made. It was frustrating to be without a car when the car was just sitting not being worked on. The staff at motorserve have their processes they stick to and have no compassion or consideration for practicality, no matter how ridiculous or inefficient the process is. They are also unable to tell me much about what is happening with my car and needed to ring the 3rd party. They began to get annoyed at me when I called to find out what was happening. Thankfully the 3rd party repairer also offered me a loan car during the repairs. Long story short if your car is drivable dont relinquish your car to motorserve unless the assessment is complete and insurance have approved the quote for repairs.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their customer service is atrocious, they don't provide time frames & don't keep customers updated. On the 1st attempt at fixing my partner's car, we dropped the car off only to receive a call a couple of days later advising they needed to order parts & they would take 6 weeks to come in. On the 2nd attempt, they had the car for well over a month to then deliver it back still damaged. When we called to find out what happened we were told 3 different stories from, it was repaired, to they replaced the wrong door & finally the parts were delivered damaged. On the 3rd attempt to fix my partner's car, they advised they would only need the car for 1 day & then on the day advised they would need it until the next day at least, leaving me stranded at work with no car. I requested a manager call me back to discuss taxi vouchers but their employee Jacob decided to handle it himself by calling & leaving a message on my voicemail saying cars get delayed & there is nothing they can do about it, it is what it is. RACV had to get involved & only then was I offered a loan car for the inconvenience. The next day they call to say they have finally fixed it & it is ready to be picked up. I get there to pick it up & there is new damage caused by them (scratches on the body & a scraped rim). After finally agreeing to fix the repairs at their cost, they booked the car in & then once they had it, they delayed the repairs twice meaning they had the car for almost 3 weeks. I spoke with manager Jake to discuss the delays & he lied stating the repairer informed them they would need the car for 1.5 weeks for repairs (to be clear, the repairs were only a 4 day job). It was only after speaking to the assessor at RACV that I was told the truth about the repairer pushing back the repairs due to being overbooked. RACV has had to get involved multiple times to resolve the multitude of issues.

Such an unprofessional organisation. First, they never answer phone calls. Even if I try to contact via RACV, they don't even have any answer. I had an accident and when I dropped my car there, the repaier told me Headlight, side bumper will get replaced and front bumper will get repaired. They took 9 days to work on the car and, I got a call on Wednesday before long weekend saying car is ready for pick-up. I went there ; they didn't gave me any paperwork of the work was done on my car most importantly they didn't even touch the headlight. I confirmed headlight will be changed for 3-4 times (because it was bubling after the accident) and also my car battery was dead. I raised up this issue to one of the staff walking in the sitting area, he said if no one is here come back then show us what's the issue. Then a manager walked up and he had no answer and I had to back without a car and I was left without a car for the whole long weekend. Then they called me next week wednesday (car is ready) and I went there and same thing, headlight was still same, neither they replaced it or repaired it. Very important thing is they don't want to accept their mistake, as I am here free; travel there 30 km and still not get the car. That day after long discussion with one of their manager, I was told they will me an ETA by EOD, but again it's been 7 days and there no reply from them and when I try to call them they never answer the phone. I am very DISAPPOINTED by the whatever you are doing because it is definetly not called customer service. Whoever runs the business, they do need to check on their staff how they are dealing with their customers.

The experience there was long, exhausting and in the end bad quality. Very disappointing. I went there in 2021 to repair a door damage on my car because I am with coles insurance. I consulted other mechanics before I went there, I was suggested to replace the whole door, because there was possibly an internal damage to the door. I told the Motorserve people about this, they insisted there is no need to replace and they will let technicians check carefully. Okay that’s fine. I trusted them and decided to do whatever they feel suitable. The first time I went back to collect my car, the dent was not repaired at all. They didn’t check if there was an internal damage, didn’t see the dent, instead just put new paint on. They agreed to redo the job after negotiation. The second time I went there, the dent wasn’t done properly again. So redo again. The third time, the dent looked to be smoothened. But there was more small problem, such as the rubber seal wasn’t placed correctly, there was painting drops on the surface, etc. Yesterday, I drove my car out after a long holiday. I discovered the dent is actually still there, can be seen under the sun. The fact is they should have replaced the whole door but they didn’t do it.

the customer service needs allot of attention. the lady at the front desk was rude to almost every customer that walked into the door having an attitude that brings the whole lobby’s attention each and every time. it’s understandable there’s processes and rules that need to be followed however i saw three customers asked to move their cars from the side parking to the street then they are greeted again and asked to bring the car back around? if the lady had just given the customers a chance to even speak then she could’ve saved both the customers and the business time, which is probably a factor into why there’s no parking at the front of the shop in the first place. I really wasn’t going to write a review until she interrupted an elderly lady to ‘stop yelling’ when she’s just an elderly lady and they tend to speak louder as their hearing isn’t the best. Unfortunately i had a similar experience when she also told me and my mother “there’s no need to yell” when we were talking at a much lower volume than her. learning to adapt to different types of customers and being a bit more patient and simply nice would make the overall experience completely different.

Will NEVER EVER recommend motorserve for any repairs. I had no choice as after a road accident my car was sent here for assessment and repair by the insurance company. Initial time frame: 2 weeks. No update about it & then I ended up calling them only to be told that it will take another month. Again no update was provided during that time frame. I literally struggled to find a rental car because not enough notice was provided by this company. Then after 2 months, the repairer calls me to inform me that it's a total loss and can't repair it. Upon being asked the reasoning behind such a long wait (only to be told that it's a total loss) the repairer put the whole blame on the management stating how he didn't get the car for repair only up until the last two days. As I work with cars too, this whole process was appalling because I clearly knew it shouldn't have taken this long. At least they could have given an honest response. The reception staff was of zero help too and extremely rude. They kept telling me that it's with the repairer but as mentioned above the repairer never got the car until the last few days. Never ever wanna deal with them again.

I never thought I would have much of an opinion of a necessary evil like a motor repair venue, but having a car fixed here after an accident was actually a fantastic experience. From arrival, the reception staff were patient with my elderly grandparents (the car owners), super informative and very accommodating in offering complimentary drinks while we waited. The assessors were highly prompt- we were seen bang on our appointment time and the inspection was quick and efficient. The assessors made sure to address my grandparents when speaking to us and this won a lot of points with me. The car was repaired nearly 5 days ahead of schedule and the staff were quick to communicate next steps. Honestly, the convenience of having an insurance agent, repair workshop and car rental desk in one venue should not be undersold as the height of efficiency. All in all, we had a great experience and were so grateful.

What I saw today at this place was extremely bad customer service. I witness a manager being extremely rude to this poor woman who had her baby with her and English wasn’t her first language just making her feel like her problem wasn’t his problem and just kept saying to her that if she keeps being rude that he will cancel her application and she can go somewhere else. This woman wasn’t yelling she just didn’t understand something to do with her card not been able to process whatever she was trying to pay for. And then I could see her just crying at the whole situation! As a woman and a mother I wish I said something at the time because thats not how you should be treated! They have all these sighs saying not to be rude to them but what about when they are being rude to the customer!! All this manger cared about was going back to his desk to be with his dog that he brought to work with.

Worst repairer! Will never recommend Motorserve for repairs. It took 10 weeks to replace 2 bumper and wheels. They initially said it will take 10-14 days. They never provide updates of the progress. Had to call every week to get updates. They have a bunch of very slow low rated repairers associated with them. I finally requested the car back without repairing. They said it was not roadworthy even though it was. And requested for a rental car if it’s getting delayed, didn’t provide one. Also mentioned that they will allocate an assessor to get things fast tracked, never did until 3 days before the car was ready, it was in the 10th week. It was a nightmare to have worked with them. If you are registered with RACV and live in north west of Melbourne, then change your insurer or either add ‘choice of repairer’. RACV’s default repairer for NW is Motorserve. WORST!

A place not to go for any repairs!! After keeping my vehicle nearly six weeks, they said they can not do the job and towed the vehicle to my home. They have removed lot of parts of the vehicle and had not fixed them back. Never updated me any time till I inquired. Until the last day, their answer was"waiting for spare parts" and also sent text messages too saying the same. They sent a huge estimate to my insurer saying that there were previous damages. (It was an utter lie.) They themselves made the estimate for the entire repair but finally got rid of the work without giving any acceptable reason.The new repairer says they can not see any previous damages and even my regular service centre as well. Extremely disappointed.

I would like to give less than a star. I was told one week for some minor scratches. The day came for pick up and I had not heard from them so I spent an hour on hold just to confirm a time for pick up. Only to be told tomorrow. The next day again I tried to confirm a pick up to be told Monday. Today is Monday. No call not answering. Extremely frustrating. I had the car hire place call me yesterday asking for the hire car or when I will return it. I still have no idea. Each time they have given different reasons for the delay that contradicts the last reason. I have no idea what is happening to my car and they won’t even answer a call or send a message to let me know. I will never use this company again!

Customer service was great especially lady at counter can't remember her name but she was amazing to deal with. Beware people ask in writing what they gona fix on car , was told they will replace front end panels but nothing replaced painted the old bumper bar which still has split and cleaned headlights that's it still damage is visible. Had accident on 2/05/23 , had to wait for all the front panel parts to arrive in stock which none of them has been replaced , car booked in for repair on 28/06/23 and was ready on 30/06/23 . Car was handed in with overpaint and panel still loose. They do not take responsibility of their work and try to wipe hands from their end and advise to speak to insurance company.

Great service until 1 staff who abuses customer for a confusion caused by their own company. If you want to put bollards with laminated no entry sign but still have painted entry/exit signs on the floor of the gates, then by right you should expect people to be confused. Your unprofessional staff that yelled out at me in front of everyone at the entrance is the epitome of hypocrisy. The signs you put in reception to be patient and courteous to staff should be drilled in to your own staff !! Again, this confusion can be taken away if your floor sign is painted to 1 way ! and yes it is abusive when it is in the front door. Would you like a customer to do that to your staff? get real..

Had to send my car here for repairs through RACV and will now be changing insurance companies to avoid using them again. Was told my vehicle would be repaired on site and with them 5-7 business days. I was also promised text message updates to advise rough timelines. It’s been 5 business days with no contact so I called - and of course had to call 6 times to get someone on the phone because as you can see in all the reviews their phone lines jammed. When I did get through they advised my car had been sent off to a contractor repairer (not kept on site as promised) and won’t be ready until next Friday, so 14 business days with no update of timeline. Not good enough.

Taking longer to repair car, already delayed 3 times after making their estimated delivery. Upon asking a question about delay, their standard reply is - it's been cars has beed repaired with third party. So question is whose responsibility is to push for repairs. Also at the beginning of the repair, I have requested, I will only drop the car once all the parts (panels) arrived. It's been over 2 months still under repair. STANDARD ANS from customer service: cars been repaired with third party, when we push them harder, then second Ans, employees are sick, and even push harder then parts been delayed without any tentative date.

They don’t even deserve a star… horrible place. Stay away from them for your own good, my insurance send me here to fix my car, I give them all my car keys as they were all together, they stole my-car remote key, garage remote and house keys. They just gave me the extra car key .They said I can’t make a formal complaint and I have to wait for them to call me back. It has been 3 weeks with no call. I will be making a police report for stealing my keys and seeking legal advice. Update after 3 months of denying that they have my key, yesterday suddenly they decided to return my keys, with no apology. Very rude and unprofessional

Choice repairer of RACV. Read the poor reviews before taking my car here so was very worried. After the initial repair assessment, I became optimistic I’d have a positive experience. Michael conducted the assessment, explained timelines, process and was very patient, helpful. Motorserve also organised a car hire when they told me to bring the car in for repairs. Everything went poorly after that. Delay after delay and car came back in worse condition than when I took it in. Other reviewers were right about Motorserve not even being a repairer. They must ship the car off to a cheaper repairer they can find.

Racv insurance had my car for four weeks repair had to jump start it to get it out of shop failed on way home claim denied faulty battery cell and the age of the battery gave me a two month run around battery was tested a month before in service all ok . Took car in end of March to be repaired. Not much damage. Had the completion date extended more than 3 times, it’s now nearly halfway through May and still mucking around. Every time I ring they say “it’ll be ready on this day”. When I call on that day they say “sorry, still hasn’t arrived. Still delayed” over and over again. They never call with updates. It’s me chasing them all the time for any update, and when I do it’s a disappointing update with more delay. What disappointing service. I’ve been unable to work because I have no car. I don’t know why RACV recommend them

they never answer the call, and even they do. the customer service can not provide anything helpful. they just read what system said. and they are taking so long to repaired my car. i dont know why RACV recommend it. but now i am very regret. very unsatisfy. beware of 0 quality repaire. oh, btw. seems they are send my car to other car repaire. thats why they took so long and dont know what happened and why take so long...people give 5 star should just very lucky or motorserve paid for it. super angry right now. lose more money on rent the car for near month.

Absolutely appalling customer service from Lani. I have never experienced someone so rude, speaking over me, interrupting me and being sarcastic! I have a booking for Monday and will lodge a formal complaint. I certainly deserve an apology but she was yelling over me and being rude and sarcastic. I am a Nurse, and have managed many staff under my wing, and I urge management to provide her with further Customer Service training and etiquette. Happy to discuss this further with management but refuse to have further communication with Lani.

Impressed with the time frame turn around for my vehicle. Staff at motorserve and Sixt were very helpful. Upon collection I was told only rear bar was changed over. I new myself there (as I work at a panel shop) was reo, irons and back panel damage. Spoke with assessor onsite and he advised they were repaired (even provided photos). There was a few scratch marks on vehicle which were polished up for me. Only downfall was car was covered in cutters and not cleaned properly. Cutters stuck in light groves and sprayed all over my tailgate.

I went to the motor serve Derrimut as they were the RACV preferred repairer. There was an Asian looking guy for vehicle assessment. He did not even greet the customer or tell his own. Name. . He just came and start asking questions like he is interrogating me. He was using engineering terms and he was not even helpful to answer me. Such an arrogant person. I am not a racist as I am also an Asian. Hallo people …. I did not come to your store to steal something. I will wait for your so called service, and I will tell more.

Had to deal with this company through RACV and only had trouble with them and their panel beaters. They won't tell you the work that gets done and the panel beaters cheap out and do the least amount of work possible car had to go 2 times to get fixed 3 to 4 weeks for both times huge inconvenience When. I finally got my car back the 2nd time they never charged my battery and I died while I was out I now have to charge it at home tonight cause the panel beaters lied about the work they did for a second time

Terrible customer service, almost no communication from them regarding my cars repairs! Told me my car would be ready in 6 business days so I called on the 5th day ti be told my car hadn’t even been touched and had been sitting in the workshop all week for nothing, they sent it away without my knowledge or permission to another repairer told me it would be 5 days and 2 weeks later had it back no apology no nothing. I changed from insuring with RACV to avoid ever having to deal with them again.

Gave my car on 16/03/2022, I was told that it would take them not more than 3 months. It has been 2 months and they have not fixed the car yet. They tell you stories about quick and fast they are, but the fact is they just want to have your car keys and Wouldn't give 2 shoots after they have it. Not only that I have been three estimate dates one after the other. I have to call them every fortnight and ask them to give me an update, they themselves are least bothered about giving an updates.

They have had my car for over a month now, and this is for a parking accident. The first time they called me to pick up the car, there was visible damage to the car that a blind person would see which was not attended to. They blamed this to a repaired they sent the car to instead of repairing themselves. I have tried calling and left multiple voice mails over numerous days, even sent en enquire via their website and still nothing. No Car, no way of connecting them This is a nightmare

Absolutely awful customer service. One staff member to answer every phone call when they have hundreds of cars in their lot and take all business from RACV in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Asked the staff member today if there’s a trick to getting your call answered and he obviously knew there was a problem. Phone constantly rings out and their voicemail box is full. Thrifty guys on site joked that Motorserve miss 30 calls for every single customer that walks in.

Repairer RACV. Read the poor reviews please. I’d have a positive experience with repairer RACV before. Motorserve also organised a car hire when they told me to bring the car in for repairs. Everything went poorly after that. Delay and alway extended time again and again and i have to spend for hire a car more than money i have to pay for the excess. Thinks about this you will lose customers when your words always change. The right time frame is so important.

Modern avenue with no ugly power lines. Walk 5 min if you are early there to the 5-star rated Salt and Pepper House Cafe for their world-famous latte. Have it in-house with no sugar. Mate..take a half day off from engagements and make the trip to Motorserve a memorable EXPERIENCE.

My car was here for repaire here took 2 months to do that and did not get it done properly .when I came to collect the car I found the cap in the middle of the seat car was not been fixed. The car agin took back to them again took another 2 more weeks including lock down .I storgly not suggesting this repairer at all. The reason being the supervisor who is uncharged of quality control did not the job properly.

Came here because it was racv preferred repairer, they were professional from the get go, Rahul explained what was going to happen to my car and how long it would take and then helped me with getting a hire car with thrifty, and they helped transfer my car seats over. Everything was handled with ease and they answered all my questions and queries. Rahul was so great, its the best customer service yet !!!

Pathetic phone line and it is never picked by the Motorserve, when I was checking the reviews looks like the phone line is not working since from month's time and still it has not been corrected. Why don't you arrange at least some temporary number and it's very hard for customers who lives the car for repair and can't get the update. Really disappointing and will not recommend this to others.

Choice repairer here. Use with caution. They didt fix it well to the naked eye but look at that attempt of handing back a really nice looking car. They’ll buff two panels so your car will look weird. Plus fitment wasn't aligned properly either. Besides the other hassle I had since turning the vehicle in for repairs. Anyway, they’ll do a good enough job to those who know none the better.

Dropped my car off to get repaired today. Excellent customer service from the get go. Thank you to Michelle who greeted and explained process clearly. And assessor Mark for being patient with answering my questions and being thorough with the assessment. You can tell that they care about the customers. We are now waiting for the repairs to be done and pickup our car.

Walked in just after 8am on a Monday. I was greeted by Michelle, who was switched on from the moment I got in. She told me where to take the car, organised the free hire car, and the taxi ride to take me to the car rental place - and the taxi ride for when I return the rental. It was a good experience purely by the way Michelle carried herself and got the job done.

This 5 star is because of one person: Rahul. I had a great experience at Motorserve Derrimut. Rahul is very helpful and proactive person. He helped me in every step of process at Motorserve. He always there to solve my queries. Without him, place deserve 2 star. Will definitely refer someone. One suggestion: Reception should answer the customer call.

Very pathetic serivce..... my car has now been sitting at the workshop for 3 weeks; it was suppose to be fixes in 10-15days. I contacted them myself to get an update and was being told it will.be ready same day and I should expect a call; nothing happened. Next day, I contacted them again and was being told it will take another day or so... :x!!!

Poor customer service! They don't pick up phones, Frustrating. My car was used with almost 90kilos added to the odometer. A fine was sent to me while my car was still at their care. I reckon it was used while they were still repairing it. Very terrible experience. Even though I complained, they never got back to me for 3 months.

I have never had such a smooth and pleasant experience with an insurance company, I was kept up-to-date, repairs were super quick with the upmost quality and I felt extremely looked after. Excellent customer service from all the staff. Went into drop my car for repair. Technian who did the assessment gave me an honest assessment and provided guidance for the repair. Got a hire car from the on-site Thrifty team, was quick and easy. Waiting to pick up my car after it gets repaired.

- my car was at the centre for good 23 days and everytime I needed an update I had to contact my insurance to get it as there was no communication with the repairer whatsoever - no emails or calls were responded. -repair quality is good no doubt, but I am not at all happy by their service.

Good coffee and water amenities but so hard to find parking and navigate into the centre. Pick up process was easy but i was only given 5 hours notice to get my car which was ready before the estimated date. I had to finish up at work and get the car or i'd be charged for the rental car.

Hello, I was visited on 14 feb for my ute assessment and they said I will inform you when parts available then drop your vehicle and now is 24 march no one contact me . So I request you not go for this smash and repair shop only wasting the customer time and attendant also rude.

Had our car repaired at this place and they did a fantastic job. The service was fast and of good quality too. Hopefully we don't have to visit them again but if we need a panel beater we know who to go to. Car rental also located within facility making it very efficient.

Very bad services time frame to Complete the job 2 weeks , more then 3 Months over, but our ute not fix yet , also nobody pick up phone , you can hold more then 20min every time. Friends please don't go with them , talk with your insurance company to find another one .

What an awful place to go. Got our car fixed here and staff behind the counter didn't explain anything to us and when we questioned about payment she blamed it on racv. Shame on uou. Never going back here. Ppl have forgotten about being nice to customers .

All the service from time off drop off to pick up of my car was great, but the cursty car l had driving lights... very dangerous....they needed to be adjusting.... up...and power on hills not so good... All staff very friendly and great service .

Poor communication. Took extremely long to service the car without communicating delays. No integration between them and the rental company Sixt which made us rush last minute to give back the hire car without proper communication!

They promise you a date it will be ready and it’s never ready on the date they say. It’s not even Motorserve that repairs your vehicle, they use another company I wouldn’t recommend this company to repair your vehicle at all.

THE WORST EVER COMPANY. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. I don't understand how this is an RACV accredited service provider as they provide NO service. They have left my ill father with no car and no contact what so ever.

It is a good repair centre but the only issue is that they hardly receive your calls, very long wait time. They should either increase more ways for their customers to be responded back if calls are not answered.

Excellent customer service from the mechanics. I dropped of my car and was told 7-10 days, I received it after 7 days. Everything was repaired perfectly and they even cleaned my car inside and out. Fabulous job!

They don’t pick up any phone calls past 10am. They say they close at 5pm on weekdays but no one picks up and the call automatically ends anytime you call after 10am. Garbage service.

Got a big scratch from 1 incident but they only fix half and then tell me to make another claim for the other half (???) Can not talk to anyone there, they don't listen at all.

Car repair is good but can't reach them on phone. Not sure why the phone is given at all. Could contact them only the first time and then only through my insurance provider.
