A fantastic little reserve designed to protect and educate about the wetlands. There are several plaques around the area with information, and a lot of artworks. From concrete stencils in the path to sculptures. There isn't much shade along the paths. On the other side of the reserve is a large dog off leash park full of tall trees providing a lot of shade. The maps show an informal path along the top of the hill. Unfortunately it doesn't exist. Instead your walking on the street or nature strip. The lookout provides a marvellous view of Penrith Lakes and the Blue Mountains escarpment.

A local spot I've walked for 16 years. It's been transformed to a beautiful natural water filtration run off site for the local suburb. In turn protects a small part of the Lakes Scheme and our stunning Nepean River.

Steps are very high to negotiate and need maintenance. Bird hides in good condition, lots of introduced weeds however onsite

Looks great from the outside but 30 seconds into our walk we saw a massive red belly snake. Make sure to keep an eye out
