cons: this is the perfect example of up-pricing something because it has the word vegan in it’s name. I got the Vegan Power Breakfast Bowl for $11.99, the only vegan dish on the menu, and it was a small bowl of sautéed potatoes, mushrooms, and peppers mixed with raw spinach, 2 slices of raw tomato and 2 slices of avocado. I noticed the jacked up price compared to other menu items and figured maybe it was because there was avocado in it. this was the saddest “vegan” item I’ve ever had at a restaurant. when it came out I thought it wasn’t mine because it looked like a side salad. this dish had no flavor, was small, and never should be priced at $11.99. The Veggie Breakfast Bowl, which has eggs and cheese in it, but otherwise is basically the same as the Vegan Bowl was $9.99! what?? please stop over-pricing food and taking advantage just because vegans choose not to eat animal products and have no other options on the menu. either decrease the price of your only vegan option significantly or make the dish way tastier. pros: the folks who work here are nice and everyone else I was with enjoyed their meals. the vegetarian options are plenty.

Hit or miss in my experiences here, it depends on who’s at the register. One girl is kind of crabby - she barks at the female customers “are you ready!?” but has a different, nicer tone for the males “what’ll you have?” or “and for you?” She totally forgot my order (cold brew coffee), but 4 people that ordered coffees after me got their drinks made. I waited 15 minutes and finally asked another young woman. The manager lady that was camped out at a front high top with her laptop couldn’t possibly have missed a person waiting for 15 minutes in front of her while more than 8 others all got their orders taken and served during that time. I know she was paying attention to what was going on because she called the girls name when people were waiting at an empty register to order. And they expect a tip up front when you pay on their POS system, like everywhere nowadays - tip us first, before we mess up or forget your order. My drink was good, but pricey.

Coffee is ok at best. Very watered down and low quality. Food has been great. Delivery driver complained 2/3 times. First, the order arrived 2 hours after it was placed. The excuse was that our home was too difficult to find. We live in a huge house with the address smack on the front. We work a lot and order delivery often, and have never heard that complaint of our 4 years living in our home. The second time, no issue. The third time, he delivers and states that we aren’t tipping enough. We are exactly 2.2 miles from their location. Their delivery is $10, there’s also an additional tip option which I usually use but apparently it wasn’t enough for him. The lack of customer service and subpar coffee is laughable. I will be going to Blind Tiger, coffee is much better along with the customer service.

we went here because they advertised gluten free sandwiches and my friend has a very serve gluten allergy. When we went to order we asked if the toaster could be wiped down before her sandwich went in and we were told that they couldn’t do that because they were “too busy” and that they couldn’t log in to the computer system to check if another item as gluten free because she was “running around”. It’s embarrassing to have someone care so little about someone’s gluten allergy. They also weren’t busy. Kindness goes a long ways and we weren’t shown that.

Food is really good. Not horribly priced. Food came out fast. Atmosphere is nice, just expect a city atmosphere as it is a cafe on the road. Service was meh. Lady at the register seemed a bit rude and lost composure due to being busy (15 people). The lady making drinks came over and helped and she was friendly. The reason for 3 stars despite really liking this place was because there was black mold on my beer (see pic). Things happen, but it made it past the employees observation who brought it to me, and it came from near the kitchen.

Came twice, once alone, once of my children. Got the ice mocha, hits the spot. Great spot for breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating, great location in City center. A short walk from the streetcar, City Hall, lots of other places. You can get food to go when you need it in the park where there is public seating. Staff is really friendly and remembered me when I came back the next day. Any dog theme restaurant is worth checking out. Next time I'm in Tampa I'll definitely come by.

I love picking up food from Moxies. The staff is always fast paced and lively. Literally the funniest thing about the cafe though is every time I order something, modifications or not, an ingredient is always missing. I’m not mad about it, but it’s kind of funny, weird? lol BLT2 - The B for bacon was missing in my BLT Green Egg and Ham - One time only had egg and ham, missing avocado, cheese and tomato. Second time missing tomato There were other things like this before, but I’m not mad or anything, I just find it funny. I’ll keep going back :)

In town on business and found myself needing breakfast because my flight out of town was delayed by a few hours, so a coworker and I happened upon Moxie's. OUTSTANDING breakfast joint - the coffee was excellent, and the open-faced Nova salmon bagel was not only delicious, but so gigantic that I was not REMOTELY hungry until dinner that night. If I find myself in Tampa again I will be sure to hit this place up.

Five star service - family friendly, very nice people, even the customers! Delicious food. I ordered scrambled eggs with spinach which is not exactly on the menu and they accommodated me. No wonder this place is a constantly revolving with customers. Great place to connect with others. Just wish there were outlets to charge with.

Just ok. This place is adorable! I passed it one evening when it was closed and went back the next day for lunch. The food was "meh" and the service was also so so. Two different employees regarded me and my +1 coldly. I'll give an extra star for great service even if the food isn't awesome, but that wasn't the case here, either. Fast experience and great food selection. This is a well organized cafe. I stopped by after landing from NYC, And I was surprised of the range of food they offer, wifi is reliable, very clean tables and Bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I end up coming here a few times since I found the place very cosy and reliable during my business breaks. Moxie's handles fair prices and I wish It could be open on the afternoon too. I'll stop by next time for fresh coffee or a small bottle of proseco.

Bland, liquid eggs, paid over $30.00 for 2 coffees, cold croissant was never asked if I wanted it toasted or not liquid scrambled eggs and bacon cheddar cheeese bland no salt or pepper around. 2nd breakfast was more liquid scrambled eggs bacon breakfast potatoes no flavor... we were never asked how our food was ... I ended up going somewhere else for breakfast that had some taste. The gentleman at the register was super sweet but I wanted to get a tasty breakfast. Was so disappointed

Just ordered a $12 lunch sandwich....with no kraut. You what gets me....is these businesses think they are the only ones feeling the changing economy...we feel it too....because when I pay for an $12 sandwich.....at least don't forget the main component to the sandwich. I tried before (different occasion) to go to Moxies....they close at 2:30....but at 2:10....the clerk was unwilling to unlock the door....and I don't beg ppl to cook for me. DO BETTER!!!

Great location. Hastily prepared food. Had a cappuccino and the Riverwalk Reuben with a side of lobster bisque. They don’t allow all sandwiches on the menu to be part of the 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 soup option even though that’s what their sign says. The sandwich had so much wet sauerkraut that it was impossible to eat without using a fork and knife. The bisque was straight out of a can. Mostly water. Cappuccino had too much milk and no foam.

Best cafe I’ve ever been to. Super clean place and great staff!! Highly recommend!!

They moved but did not change address. Ok, we walk over to new location. Wait to see if someone will acknowledge us. Grab menus. People there totally ignoring us. We go to order and see a sign breakfast ends at 10:30. It's now 10:45. She rips the menus out of our hands and says we can't get breakfast. We go to say it says breakfast sandwiches all day but too late. She has already walked away. Never again.

WARNING they moved. Luckily, you can leave the car and walk across the park to it. I went here because they bragged on their Cuban. It was bland and not pressed. Not bad, but not a Cuban. The potato salad was bland too. We also had the Mediterranean Salad which wasn’t bad, but a piece of pita would have been nice with the humus. Not worth the money. Won’t be back.

It is a great little coffee shop that also serves breakfast and lunch and has a good assortment of fresh baked goods like cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cookies. My green eggs and Ham sandwich was delicious and a couple of people that came in after me and saw mine ordered the same thing because it looked so good. Also the sandwich is huge. Coffee was great too.

The atmosphere is nice and so was the staff but the food was extremely bland. Both omelets were bland. The Cuban toast was slightly buttered and the French toast left something to be desired. I thought the Belgian waffle had a nice texture and flavor. I'd love to give a good review because the service was great but I was very disappointed in our food

I ordered a veggie bowl and it was so not good! No flavor, the potatoes were not brown, the mushrooms tasted and looked like they were out of a can. I felt like they threw it in a bowl, and popped it in the microwave. It's a No for me. Won't be going back there. Wasn't worth $10.90. Trash!!!!

Great, locally owned, coffee shop in downtown Tampa. The staff greets you by name and takes every care in making you the best cup of coffee - ever. Try their ECH - Egg Cheese and Ham pressed breakfast Cuban. It is delicious. If you are still hungry there's lots of hand made desserts to choose from.

We had two Latte, a wrap and a waffle. We paid over 30 $ for this. The taste of the Latte and waffle was good, the wrap was okay. The staff could be more friendly and we had finished our meals before the Latte came. In addition, it would be more environmentel-friendly to get real cups when sit in.

The sandwiches here are very delicious and they have a nice selection to pick from too. A1 service and their prices are very reasonable. Check them out when you can!

Iced latte made with premade espresso from a jug, then filled with cold milk. As most of the surrounding coffee shops were closed Saturday and Sunday, this place drew a small breakfast crowd. Perhaps the food is better than the iced latte.

Fabulous find on our trek downtown in search of brunch. Service was great and the food was most delicious and savory. A plus was having a mimosa on the menu. Food was served quickly and was plenty to fill you up. Highly recommend as there were plenty of healthy menu items to choose from, too!

Not impressed. The cookies are amazing but I ordered a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich was thrown together and barely had anything on it and the potatoes are so dry, burnt, and clearly very old.

This is a quaint little lunch place in downtown Tampa. I have only had coffee here, however, it is very good. This time I had 2 pumps of vanilla and a pump of pumpkin spice with non fat milk, extra hot You can eat or drink inside or outside. Masks are required inside unless you are seated.

The restaurant is absolutely adorable. My partner had a lovely breakfast sandwich, but my veggie bowl had a long blonde hair in it…. I called the restaurant to inform them, and they didn’t care at all. They told me to “have a great day”….. I can’t do that when I’m hungry!

Delicious food and lattes!! Both classic and fun options and $5 mimosas. You can’t beat that.

Fantastic food, my favorite here for breakfast is the lo carb scramble and lunch is the gyro pita. Also love the WiFi Waiter service that allows me to skip the line during rush lunch hours. Just connect to the WiFi and place an order from your phone, no app required!

Coffee was great, I got the St. Patty's Cold Brew but the Cuban sandwich was dry and meh. I'll try a different food item next time.

I've been twice for lunch for their salads. Theres a nice independent feel to the place. Soft rock music. Counter service. Mostly high chaired tables. About $7 for a half salad. A decent value. I have only tried three of the many surrounding restaurants.

Nice and cosy place with a lot of decent breakfast options. I had the chia seed oatmeal which was a decent portion of a delicious porridge. There's water and free wifi and the cappuccino was decent. I may return here another day and try more options.
