Great restaurant! I like how the menu offers sushi options! Lots of variety when it comes to drinks, appetizers and main dishes. I had a good lunch however, the service could have been a little faster by the waitresses. The managers managed to serve us instead. Great rescue lol. Ordered an Expresso Martini, was slightly disappointed with how it didn’t come with a coffee bean, and they didn’t fill the glass ti the rim, and was very foamy so it feels as if I’m getting more foam than drink imo, it was okay, just hoping they will improve their presentation. I ordered the Tuna Sushi Stack, I found interesting the TunaStack combination with Seasoned Prawn Crackers, tasty and light as my appetizers, also ordered the Shrimp and Calamari apps as well, love the sauces it came with, heavenly taste! For main dish, the Rib Eye Steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms as sides was good. Ordered a side of fries as well, it was delightful. The steak was rare when it arrived to the table, but that’s my own fault, hence I asked that way, so I requested to make it medium rare instead, since rare was too rare. Ops! All was great, very tender steak, tasty and fatty, but that’s why it was so flavourful, and went ok with my mashed potatoes and mushrooms, since the mashed and shrooms could have been more flavourful. Overall great lunch, hoped it had been a bit quicker considering it was my work lunch break. Hoping staff will improve their service, as managers shouldn’t be doing that themselves.

Very busy spot considering it's at the bottom floor of a hotel set way back from the main street so you don't see it when you're driving past. Our office went there after work one day and it was packed. Super loud music. Three young women were at the front desk and they were completely useless when I asked them where our reserved table was... gave a few names to check our company reservation but all 3 of them just stood there not knowing what to do. What?? Very unhelpful. So I called my group on my cell and they told me where they were sitting so I just walked past these 3 dummies into the restaurant... they didn't offer me a menu, or point to the area with large groups, it's like they were the mean girls who didn't want to talk to me. It was very rude and unfriendly! Atmosphere was fun after that since there was a few large groups in the restaurant and lots of loud music. Server was friendly, food is okay.

I sat in the dining area My server, Paola, was absolutely amazing, she made it an experience that I have never experience at a restaurant The food was great but Paola did a great job at explaining the food and desserts and calling out specific ingredients that can be considered allergens. Amazing how the team at moxies can have such great representation with just one interaction I was hoping to compliment her to the management but they did not touch our table for quality check but that's alright as Paola had everything under control Not to mention her lively attitude and bubbly personality lifted my wife's sour mood which is a huge plus for me as a married man. Her innocent sense of humor captivated my wife's attention and completely made her forget about the argument we had before we got there. Will be visiting and will definitely send my son in to apply for a job. Loved there food. Loved there atmosphere but more then anything we loved Paola and her amazing personality

We made a reservation in advance so when we arrived we were seated very quickly. The area we were in looked like it would be a patio during the summer time but it was entirely enclosed for the winter weather with heaters throughout. The seating area was modern and well decorated. The music was also great (but a bit loud at times). The service throughout our dinner was excellent. A few individuals were late so the waiters/waitresses were great about checking in with us for drinks until we were ready to order. We received our food and dessert relatively quickly. As usual the white chocolate brownie was amazing - highly recommended at all Moxie's locations. Note the parking may be tricky at peak times since it appears to share a lot with a hotel. Otherwise we had a great experience here!

Service is always top shelf here! (Pun intended) but seriously, the wait/bar staff is amazing and I haven't met one that wasn't super friendly and attentive. Food is pretty good as well, probably about normal sized servings but some shared appetizers are pretty big, so make sure to ask beforehand. Plenty of big screens to watch games and whatever else is on at the time. They open early for breakfast and stay open late for whatever you may need it for. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich is probably one of my favorite sandwiches ever but the pastas are also really good. It would be hard to find something on their menu that isn't awesome! I definitely recommend it, especially if you're staying at the hotel.

Visited Moxies with friends and family for the first time and fell in love with its food. Every food item we ordered was amazing. We order burger and pizza for kids , they loved it . Went to moxies yesterday and the food was fantastic but the service exceeded any experience I’ve had in a restaurant. Chris was my server. He was extremely hospitable, well spoken, knowledgeable and downright incredible. He recommended the chimichurri steak salad as a main as per my healthier option request, which was a 10/10 in my opinion. I was a little hungrier than I usually am and wanted a starter as well. He explained ( in depth) all of my starter choices with expertise, he painted a visual picture of every great thing that I may of enjoyed. Finally settling on the incredible roasted tomatoes and whipped feta, which exceeded my expectations. All in all I had an incredible experience at moxies Dixon thanks to the incredible selection, but chris was the best server I have ever had, and probably will ever have.

Great location at the bottom of The Sandman Hotel. I love going there for drinks and apps. I absolutely love the calamari, huge pieces, light breading, and cooked just right until tender. And they have a large bar menu that will have drinks that make everyone happy. Another recommendation is the Whipped Feta with roasted tomatoes, it's such a great way to open your pallet before diving into your main courses. Highly recommend eating at this location!

This place is the first place we have eaten while staying in Toronto and they are setting the bar high! The atmosphere was warm and inviting with perfect lighting and warm tones. They greeted us and seated us right away and the servers were attentive to allergy concerns. The primary server was very friendly and helpful also. The food was DELICIOUS. I had the Thai Curry Laksa which had just enough creaminess and heat. The Salmon had great texture throughout and tasted amazing. Even the Lavender Lemonades had a clean taste with just the right balance of sweetness. I would definitely come again (even through this snowy weather) if I'm in the area and recommend that you do too.

Tried the appetizer whipped feta with roasted cherry tomatoes and artesan seeded bread for the first time. What a gastronomical experience! Loved the cashew chicken ginger lettuce wraps but the chicken was a bit salty, maybe it was the sauce. The medium well peppercorn Chicago-style filet mignon was scrumptious. Our server was great but at times it was difficult to get the server's attention. Our service did come by a couple of times to ask if everything was okay.

Noisy. Noisy. Noisy. Did we mention noisy? We don’t mind it being a bit loud, but this place was too much on a Sunday night. Perhaps it’s because music was being pumped out of the overhead speakers and everyone else around needed to talk over the loud music just to hear the person next to them. It was so loud our waiter couldn’t hear us and even missed two plate orders for the group and needless to say, they had to wait for their meals longer than than the others. Overall, the food was really good. Just no need for all the loudness to try and enjoy a good meal with others at the same table. Rating higher only due to the food quality but otherwise might rate lower. Would think twice about returning.

Sarah greeted me with a vibrant smile and made me feel extremely welcome from the time I came in. She addressed all of my questions and even made some fantastic recommendations. What distinguishes Sarah is her sincere desire to ensure that every visitor has a good experience. She was extremely sweet, and her timing was perfect. I never had to ask for anything or wait for refills since she was always one step ahead. Sarah made my experience extremely unforgettable. We came here at 6pm on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't full. We got seated right away. Drinks and food are above average, especially the drinks, although the presentation of drinks and food looks pretty homemade. Chicken wings appe was excellent. We ordered sirloin for dinner, both medium rare. Maybe it's because of the butcher cut, or not aged dried enough, the plates were quite bloody when we finished the steaks. My expectation for steaks is high, after all it's an experience piece of meat. Good steak deserves good chef. Service was excellent. The lady who served our table was super nice.

Went to this restaurant for a girls night out and it did not disappoint. The vibes were so nice and the food was fantastic. Always enjoyed the food at Moxie's and it did not disappoint at this location by the Toronto airport. Speed of service was a bit lacking on the bar side though. There was sufficient staff but the bar area was far from full, the staff did not come around very often and bussing did not happen. During my 2 hour stay, a server came around 4 times and out of the 4 times, removed empty plates/drinks twice. It is fortunate that the food is good.

I had a reasonable breakfast at a slightly premium price. The service was good, and the serving was ample. The eggs and bacon were decent, but the toast was awful. It had some strange topping that tasted of a slight fish and nothing like butter or margarine. It was disgusting. Overall, it was slightly disappointing for the price. I was a captive audience as I was staying at the LOUD Sandman Signature located above. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

We visited this restaurant because of a missed connecting flight layover at the hotel which is where this restaurant is located(separate review on the Sandman Hotel). The food at the restaurant was great and our server was also very attentive and nice. I particularly like the high booth setup in this restaurant since it provided a lot of privacy, and I have not seen that many other restaurants have this kind of setup. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

Being from Brazil, it's hard to eat a good meat steak. Here, the New York Steak was good and well done. The meat is still not the taste I'd expected, but still a good steak. The side dishes are also good. I recommend the visit. Overall, it's a nice restaurant.

Visited the restaurant with my family a few days ago. Chris was our server and he took care of everything during our stay. He was a fantastic server and I would definitely come back to the restaurant. Chris was very polite, patient with my family, informative regarding the menu and the options we had. Im staying at the Sandman hotel, so I went this morning to have breakfast and the french toast was delicious! My server Paola helped me with ordering food and she was very specific about the ingredients as i have allergies. I’m glad that i had my breakfast there and its really nice to start a day with having good conversations as Paola made us comfortable. Will sure visit here again.

Incredible location. Food was cooked fast and tasted amazing. It helps that we went on a slower evening. Some of the best Moxies' food we've had in years. Our server Paola was fabulous. She made sure everything was made how we wanted. We can be fairly picky eaters, and she covered all bases to ensure our dinner was perfect. If l'm ever in the area again, I'm definitely returning!

I used the Lounge side, which is self seated. The waitstaff are incredible: not constantly all up in your face, yet attentive and helpful. Had a delicious French Dip here. Lavender Lemonade was my server's suggestion to match my meal choice, and I was pretty darn impressed.

Amazing experience. This is a great place if you want to have a large group who can all do A La Carte! This restaurant is gorgeous! Very modern inside! Bathroom is beautiful. Food is good! Waiters were very sweet! The reservation process was super simple! It’s not busy! Lovely view somehow, kind of like a house on Hill! Would Recommend!

Great restaurant in the airport area with food to please everyone. The menu has lots of options… we stopped in during the happy hour which included a discounted price on certain drinks, apps and entrees. The food was filling and delicious. As for service, our waitress Paola was very nice and quick to answer all our questions.

I can easily say some of the best food I have had this entire year. The Thai Salad and Quinoa Chicken were super delicious, and the tuna sushi stack was immaculate! The service was non-existent though, and the atmosphere during the day was alright.

Everything about our experience was perfect. I’m only writing this review because of the Amazing service from our server Paola. She was very attentive and never seemed rush when I was asking questions. I have a pretty high standards for service but she succeeded my expectations. The cocktail she suggested was amazing, I think it was the lavender lemonade.

Joe made us feel right at home from the moment he came to our table. It felt like he created an experience that was specifically catered to our group. Every interaction felt genuine. He is also very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose what he thought we would really enjoy. It’s rare these days to see hospitality like that. We will definitely be back

Try any of their steak options and you won’t be disappointed. I went with the New York striploin and it was great. The salads were drowning in dressing so I’d suggest getting the dressing on the side. Service was decent and the prices seemed fair given today’s inflation.

The starter and our meals were so gooooood! Oh my gosh! The steaks were perfection. Our calamari starter was delicious and our cocktail was done well. Our waiter John was so helpful in choosing our meals! We’ll definitely be back here. I highly recommend this restaurant!
