Had a bad experience with food from mr India once before, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again. Walked in and ordered a take away stood there and waited for them to prepare, whilst standing by the counter I watched as one of the kitchen staff pick up a pot that was on the floor and proceed to use his hand to fill my take away boxes with and pat it down, I asked for the manager and complained as this was not acceptable, i asked him why he was not using kitchen utensils to do this, he called the member of staff out and when he questioned him he denied it and then said he was using a large spoon that was lying inside the pot, I know the difference between a hand and a spoon, further more I was not alone in witnessing this, I refused the take away and asked for a refund. This was a great take away until the original owner sold it. Never again disgusting place.

I order my food at 7pm and at 845 I receive it told me 45 min wait wasn't to impressed I always been here because I love how nice the food is this time was cold I rung at 8 pm to ask if it left they said yes I said will it be cold and they slammed the phone down on me !!! How rude always thought was nice staff and food but my opinion has changed and that due to tonight's show from them ! so what took 45 mins to drive 5 mins down the road no wonder my food was cold ! Won't be ordering ever again lost a good customer always went here 2 3 times a month at least such a shame really am so ashamed

This is one of the best curry houses in south London, possibly even further afield! Incredibly extensive menu, great vegetarian options, full flavoured and reasonably priced. The simple dishes like saag bhaji are even amazing! You can see from my other reviews I have fairly high standards. This restaurant surpassed all my expectations! Their app is also brilliant, saves using conglomerates like the JustEat crooks etc... Once they sort the cancellation process I’ll have no faults to mention. Any negative reviews must be either bots or people who don’t appreciate good food.

Totally disappointed with the food & service. I ordered 4 main dishes with sides and appetisers. The poppadoms were totally stale, the vindaloo was sweet instead of hot as it is supposed to be. My 15 year old who never eats hot food eat this curry and said it tastes sweet . The potato’s had no flavour. The keema Nan was soggy and tasteless. Full of colour. Awful food . Feel ripped off. Would not recommend . Never ordering from here again.

This used to be a great take away curry house 10 years ago BUT what I have just eaten is a disgrace to Indian food . No flavour in any of the dishes what so ever , so bland , worst Indian meal I have eaten in my life , I think they should change the name because they are making a living of the very first owners great food , really disappointing, will never order from here again .

Not the fastest but superb food. Worth the wait. Order directly not via the just eat etc. I usually go and collect rather than phone order food then fresh and hot.

1st time we used Mr India Take away only, perfect for us. The food arrived in good time still hot unlike others we have used. The food was really good and very tasty great portion size. This will be are go to from now on

Head chefs are bringing over 20 years of experiences together to create incredible taste and to satisfy all customer needs. Mr India where do I start; last night takeaway food from you blown me away. It was incredibly authentic, aromatic, fresh and delicious. And this is coming from somebody who knows about curry or two. I can’t believe “it took me this long to discover this local gem of a place! 10/10 see you soon

Big and undercooked lumps of rise, More than 85min for preparing and deliver 1.6 miles away. Naan Bread tasteless. Rice tasteless. Small portion. Imagine 2 adults and 1 kid to left almost all rice uneaten.

Brilliant service and very tasty authentic South Asian food. If you want traditional quality food this is the place. Tell the chef how you like your spice and thickness of your sauce and he will try his best for you to return again and again.

First time experience, the best curry in the area. If u want to taste a madras that actually tastes like a madras and not just like a hot curry. I absolutely recommend you try Mr India....delighted Christine
