A home store with a convenient location almost out of the city but suitability away from the most busy traffic. Has a huge Variety of everything you can think of from furnishing your home room to room or items and ideas just for basic renovation . Has all up to date styling new and retro furniture , tables and chairs cushions , pillows , duvets and throws . Accessories to die for designer candles , mirrors , vases etc. Has a smaller appliance selection . Neat and well stocked Mr Price Home. The only problem is the lack of staff and assistance on busy days like weekends you have to wait ages for staff help and advice . Has good parking with a few security.

Misleading promotions. I visited mr price home in morningside and found an offer on pillows cover if you buy them with something else. At the cashier I was told no not this fabric it the other one. I brought the other one. Then, no it is a third one which wad not there despite no description on the promotion board. I bought without a promotion. Then went to mr price sport next door. Same story. It is not this shoe it only one color. Again the promotion sign didn't specify colors. Very frustrating as the manager tried to defend themselves and prove me wrong by all means without an apology even.

Im so dissapointed with the service at this store. Was charged the incorrect delivery fee of R1300 to Overport durban instead of R400. The manager Thavendren assured he will rectify the situation and a week later despite me calling him repeatedly nothing has been sorted. Then they sent my furniture to Vryheid instead of Overport in durban and i still have not received my furniture.... Terrible service from the store and the manager Thavendren and his staff Siya Won’t recommend this store

I was impressed with the range of different items they had available. The store is large and you will almost certainly find something in the range of what you're looking for. You get what you pay for though, so some of the items you buy can be duds or extremely poor quality. A discerning eye can catch the less than average quality items out. Great stop for the odd missing item in your household or for easy, inexpensive housewarming gifts and the like

Staff never ever acknowledge the customers. Had to wait 10 minutes for the person responsible for the kids area. Even after a public announcement was made for her, she was unaware. We questioned the stock of an item and she said there was no stock without checking. After checking she then brought the product out. Lines were very long at the tills. We had to make a scene before the manager exchanged a product that was flawed, sealed and unused.

Love love love this Mr Price Store. Yonela is the Sales Lady I always use. She's soo helpful and goes above and beyond the 'general Sales Person's ' idea of being helpful. Yonela respects that Customer is King and that Customers actually pay her salary. A rare attribute. To be fair there are also other Staff Members who are pleasant.. it's just Yonela stands out as a STAR and deserves mention. Carol Hanssen

Purchased 3 dinning chairs. All of which were sealed. When I got home one chair was badly damaged. Staff do not check the goods when they retrieve it from their stores and issue to you. Also the return process was frustrating. The staff could not refund my credit card purchase. A supervisor had to come over to assist. It seems that it is left to you as the customer to inspect your purchase.

The staff was sooooo kind and caring from the man who welcomed us at the entrance door until we exited the shop. Unathi,who was assising us even gave us ideas on what we wanted to do and we bought them.It was as if we've known each other for long. The kitchen department ladies were not kind nor willing to assist instead pushed us to other departments. Either than that, all was good.

I had a terrible experience. The manager is undermining. Paid for my items but one remained at the store somehow when the lady was wrapping them up, I called the store manager (NAEEM) following day, he was rude telling me I have to wait for 2 weeks or they'll refund my money back with bad attitude. I called the Customer Care Line and delivery for my item was arranged.

Lovely store. Alot of stuff to tweak up the look of ur home. Great vases, bedding, crockery and Alot of other stuff u can fill ur house with. Prices not bad either. Lots of practical things. Would be nice to be asked if u need help though, staff sorta mind their own business, not rude at all, just a little oblivious. Nice store guys. Got what I needed every time.

Prices are moderate. You will get what you are searching for. The staff is very friendly and try to help you. There is a lot of walking space you dont feel suffocated. The stock is packed out nicely you dont have to struggle to find the right thing except for the paintings. The store is big and offer ornaments, bedding, kitchen equipment and ornaments.

Definitely one of the better Mr Price Home stores in Durban, they have plenty stock and a wide range - they always have stock of things we find online which is great. We bought a small dining table, it was easy to assemble and they made an effort to ensure we had all the screws and tools we needed to assemble it, we will definitely be back.

I love shopping at Mr Price home store Argyle Road it is has everything you need to furnish your home and the staff are really helpful and friendly and the manager is always visible and available if you need him to assist in anyway. This Mr Price Home is my favourite store I go there at least once a week to shop.

This has to be the biggest and best MrP Home store around! They have such a wide variety of products in this store, so much to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly and will assist you in finding anything in particular that you are looking for even if they don't stock it in the Argyle Road store

Mr price home is one of my favorite home shopping experiences with the most affordable prices.. The prices have increased though.. But what beautiful themed items you are able to find here...from my kids beddings to my kitchen ware to beaut delicate stone dinner sets..curtains etc etc♥

Cheap and cheerful, unsophisticated cottage furniture and accessories for the starter home or not quite so wealthy families. Almost quality, yet not quite shoddy, the goods walk a thin line. This is the branch closest to national head office so you could call it the "mother ship" of branches.

Situated not too far from Suncoast Casino. Good and secure parking for peace of mind while shopping. Huge store with a huge variety of home necessities. Friendly staff that assisted us while shopping for specifics. A special section dedicated to all marked down items with great bargains!

They went out of their way to help us really. Thank you so much. We felt them so sorry though because of Durbans loadshedding but still they tried their best to help us and called all branches to find what my mom was looking for. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality.

We purchased a furniture item on line that required assembly. It was too difficult for us so we visited the Argyle Road branch for assistance. The staff there couldn't have been more helpful and we have now taken delivery of our new piece of furniture. We'll done Mr Price Home.

My favourite furniture store in the world. It would be nice though I'd some of the stores changed there decor inspiration. Like in pmb. Argyl my favourite but they need to expand. Furniture stores u want to see things in a wider open area. Overall good quality and prices

Hillcrest branch is in dire need of a face lift!! I went to other branches on the weekend, they are so nicely laid out, with all the stock displayed beautifully, making you want to buy the whole shop!!!! Our one was like that in the begining but now its just a shop.

Staff behind the cash tiles do not know the warranty period on a duvet, told me it was on the back of the sales slip. I asked them to show me where, none could, only the the assistant manager knew. It makes one wonder what level of intelligence these employees have.

The staff are not helpful at all.. but that's understandable as you See the manager flit about with getting involved. For a flagship store you would expect Head office to monitor closely. The branches in Ballito and Pavilion are far better managed

Long long long wait to get to till. Not enough staff to man all tills. Lighting section an absolute mess unpacked boxes blocking walkways. Bad selection of items. Quality of items pretty low overall. Scratched /scuffed /damaged items in shelves...

We have bought bedding, curtains and other goods here.Very affordable. Lots of goods , one can spend a lot of time shopping here.The store layout is great with lots of goods on display. You go to source one thing and leave with something extra.

Well I have been a regular visitor to MR P in Argyle but now I have lost appetite, discouraged and disappointed. They put bedroom and bathroom essentials at the top level which is not wheelchair friendly. I don't enjoy going there anymore.

What a good variety and range of products. They have ALL the necessary items needed and if not they will arrange for it . Very very friendly and helpful staff Would highly recommend going there if looking for new things for your home

Lots of staff around but they seem to hide from customers when you need assistance. When the store gets busy they all seem to make themselves busy so they don't see the customers and don't have to go to the cash desks to help.

Would've rate it 5 star, but the management of the centre needs to sort out the horrible sewerage puddles in front of the store. We are forced to walk through it to enter and then have to bear the stench once inside as well.

Shocking attitude from some of the assistants. No product knowledge and they don't bother to get answers. When you challenge them they get argumentative. They need to know the customer pays their salaries.

Wide variety, I was looking for furniture, a couch specifically but did find what I like. Store is well stocked, beautiful linen, got very expensive.

They don't stock wooden curtain rails. Considering the proximity to the ocean I think that's a problem. Even treated metal rusts on the beachfront.
