Response to owner First ever heard of guilty by association? Regardless of which shop you open both are under the same banner and second I totally see where your staff member got their attitude from! If you work in customer service you plaster a smile on your face & master basic manners like not snapping at kids! The staff in the morning have mastered this but maybe the staff member who behaved like this was your wife? Absolutely horrid! I've been going here regularly & the experience on Friday afternoon just completely soured that experience. No friendliness, no hi, smile nothing. Don't work in customer service if you don't have those qualities and don't wear a scarf if your only qualities is an inch of makeup, being overweight and highly arrogant! Food isn't good enough to put up with that. Do yourselves a favour & go to the bakery on Harrington road. At least they know basic human courtesy!

just had £20 (£24.90 in total inc egg n chappatti) of savouries and pastries....disappointed with one common theme, hardly any fillings across all my pastries. and unfortunately this was the case before but i thought id given another chance. chicken n cheese, ch n sweetcorn, ch tikka, yr just tasting the pastry. however my sausage rolls, and lamb burger were fine, and the masala tea is spot on. if management are reading this then hopefully they can act upon it. i have a lot from other outlets usually. lady was nice good customer service and seller too lol.. please increase the filling content in yr pastries.

Rude rude rude lady. Flippin heck. I suggest the owner trains staff on general manners. And if the RUDE lady was the owner- learn how speak coherent ENGLISH , when the customer asks for something remind yourself that you are offering a service so frying breaded chicken parcels is part of your service. We did not ask for your first born child, we were paying customers. Disgusted by the service- this shop needs to be boycotted. This is ENGLAND not Pakistan- learn some manners.

DISGUSTING. We have just finished a 3 month round the world trip. We came over to visit Leicester to visit family in Highfields on a holiday on a walk around the area the shop looked great from the outside. When we went in I could see the staff behind the counter picking food from off the floor and putting back on the shelf for sale.

My experience here was great , iv never actually been to a shop with that kind of atmosphere , it was absolutely electric , the passion of the workers and staff members that had clearly AiMed to make me as a customer satisfied , very nice food could not have asked for anything better keep up the great work ethic

Nice bakery good stuff price is very but worthy there is no bakery opening early in highfields munchies is in prime location loats of working people passing by munchies if they open for business for 5 o'clock its very helpful for people who works outside leicester start earlys their work

Good food at reasonable prices. The staff are very polite and always patient. Been going to this place for about a year. Possibly the best of its kind in the whole of Leicester.A credit to Highfields and Leicester at large. Please bring back your large vegetable samosas.

Top place, always look after me even with my Gluten allergy. I take my gluten free cobs and they will make me a filling for me to take to work. Not alot of places will take care and take their time to assist their customers

Always go to munchies to buy Eid biscuits and cobs really nice place and only few minutes away from my house and staff are well friendly I would certainly Recommend this place to family and friends

Yes,have enjoyed my visits to munchies,good selection of gastronomical delights,also have taken one or two meals home,the family enjoyed them also, certainly will be back.

Friendly hard working staff. Cheap and good for on the go nothing to complain about. Always a fan of what they offer best roll/pastry etc I enjoyed the mixed kebab

The Indian Tea here! Oh my gosh!!! It is Absolutely gorgeous; and only costs 50p per cup - that's right 50pence for a cup of hotT; freshly brewed Indian tea

Nice samosas very tasty chicken samosas with a lot of flavour , my only thing is with the lamb samosa the meat tastes weird is it lamb or goat keema ?

Masala tea is brilliant and only 50p. The food is decent and prices are good too. All staff are friendly too. A very convenient place.

Omelette cob was great. Wasn't too sure about omelette and hash browns(??) But it made me an instant fan..
