"Fantastic wee palace, so we'll preserved, presented and decorated"
"One of the best examples of a traditional Tunisian home (of the bourgeois), preserved as if it is in some sort of time warp"
"This is not exactly a museum, but an old house packed to the brim with artefacts of daily life"
"Absolutely brilliant museum, it's so beautiful inside"
"Great museum"
Fantastic wee palace, so we'll preserved, presented and decorated. An absolute feast for the eyes. Staff were very helpful, despite limited English. And just 5 dinar entry fee. There's an A4 handout in English, but otherwise there's no curation (in any language). A tea/coffee on the terrase would have made this the perfect visit!
One of the best examples of a traditional Tunisian home (of the bourgeois), preserved as if it is in some sort of time warp. Beautiful collections of native decor from clothing, bathing to the kitchen. Beautiful terrace upstairs to snap great landscape photos of Sousse
This is not exactly a museum, but an old house packed to the brim with artefacts of daily life. There is a printed handout which is very helpful in explaining the layout and pointing out some interesting objects. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Sousse. المزيد
Absolutely brilliant museum, it's so beautiful inside. Get a proper insight into how people lived hundreds of years ago. Far exceeded my expectations and a great place to visit. Also has a tower with great views over the city. Spent almost 2 hours here. المزيد

Authenticity guaranteed. One of Sousse's hidden gems. You roam in a house that belongs to one of the city's bourgeois family. It is amazing how this takes you back in time to decorations, outfits and tools used in the past.

I went to the museum and was very excited to visit it, but unfortunately I found it closed even though it was a Saturday and it was posted that it was open. I do not recommend visiting it on weekends. المزيد
The museum was closed when I attempted to visit at around 12pm on a Thursday. I returned around 90 minutes later and it was still closed. There was no signage to indicate when the museum would be open.
Well worth the visit! Quaint little house with a printed guide for the facilities. Tower with view of the city from above. Staff at the door were friendly and entry was very fairly priced too. المزيد
We were excited to visit the museum today on Saturday 11 o' clock, but unfortunally it was closed. When you look at the internet it shoukd be open from 10 o'clock. Saddly we went back to our hotel.
Very interesting place, you can experience 18 century traces of life. PS,❤️❤️: the staff of Museum lived in next house, if museum closed, you can try knock on the next door. !!!!!!!!!!!
Very helpful staff. Toilets are great but check toilet roll is in stall and not by sink. Not a huge museum but some very interesting sculptures, views, plants and mosaics. المزيد
