Historical building with a great value by itself, the place also offers great views for pictures and sightseeing. Many people walking and doing sports at all times. Nice place like the are that around, try to visit early morning to avoid the massive tourist but recommend. It’s a nice place to take a walk around the beach

Appealing old lighthouse and interesting maritime museum. No café although there was a sign pointing to it. Also no wifi. Excellent views all round but the long climb to the top is rewarded by long distance view obscured by netting. The museum has some good model ships and a lovely collection of ships in bottles.

A fantastic nautical museum housed in a historical building, allowing you to immerse yourself in the history of Salvador and learn about seafaring and the beginnings of colonization in Brazil. The museum offers stunning views of the beach and sea, particularly from the top of the lighthouse. More

The fort/ lighthouse itself is a testament to the quality building as its still somehow standing to this day. Unfortunately I didn't make it inside so cant comment much but I did enjoy the sunset from arguably the best location in Salvador.

Next to the beach, amazing top view, good live music bar, acarajé counters (local street food), street shopping handmade crafted jewelry, open cafe on beach (new open) amazing place to hangout here. And spend your whole day here

There is more than meets the eye here! If you are able, make your way to the top of the lighthouse for the amazing view! Also a good stop to learn some of the history for this wonderful area. More

Beatiful place. A must see. A place rich in culture, learning and history. One of the best sunsets in the city. And yes, it's just perfect for your intagram photos.

Amazing view! It is historical fort in Salvador. We can feel and imagine that era atmosphere. Even for kids, they can enjoy fully this beautiful place.
