This is one of my favorite museums in Atlanta, the staff is super friendly and super helpful. I always look at their calendar for upcoming events. Also, I really enjoy the broad spectrum of artists they exhibit/represent. The William Downs exhibition in particular was fantastic and has been stewing and bubbling within me since I first saw it. Very excited to have an artist like that being shown here in Atlanta. The Hispanic/Latinx show is also phenomenal and I can't wait to see the future series of installations of the works. I am so glad I became a member of this museum!
The commenter below me has no idea what she is talking about. I just visited for the second time and had an even more incredible experience than the first! Sweet receptionist is so friendly and knowledgeable of the exhibits and artists - she even knows them personally! She is super passionate and makes going there such a joy! It's unfortunate that some people take their unhappiness out on other's businesses and experiences. Will DEFINITELY be visiting again!!!
A beautiful facility in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. This is the official Museum of Contemporary Art of Atlanta. It is a forward-thinking Museum with not only great works of Contemporary Art but offers space that can be rented for your next wedding or social event. And they do a lot of fun stuff like push pin show and wine and coloring night. Worth a visit!
This museum had an amazing amounts of different contemporary styles and media. The staff were really friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. The only problem is that the stairs (while pretty) and very hard to walk up/down. Finding the back stairs would make things easier for the elderly and disabled audience.
We didn't know what to expect. It was great to see art done by local artists, that covered wide spans of time. Look forward to seeing you in your new building.

I'm super excited about this exhibition. Atlanta Photography Group Tula Art Center 75 Bennett Street, NW Gallery B-1 Atlanta, GA 30309 Exhibition: Dec. 9th - Dec. 30th Opening Reception: Friday, Dec. 11th, 7pm - 9pm Last Day: Wednesday, Dec. 30th
Fairly disappointed from a visitor experience view point. There is no signage outside or once inside to direct visitors to museum. Once you do locate the museum downstairs, it’s labeled as a “research center”. Once inside the space is
I adore going to MOCA. Very Covid friendly and enjoyed having the space practically to myself to view the exhibition. Participated in the recent virtual artist talk and information on the exhibitions is readily available online. The
We came to see the Brian Dettmer book sculptures and were not disappointed. I was surprised there weren't more floor exhibits. They have a lot of space. Note the gallery is downstairs and we did not find an elevator.
This place is great. Several galleries are housed within this building. Depending on the day all the galleries are open. It's also a great place to see solo exhibitions from new and local artist.
Extremely small with minimal art. It is located in a warehouse area. Skip.

So many emotions when I walked through this museum. They have a unbelievable collection. Love going here! Went to see the impressionist exhibit & walked around here, i could of spent days here.
Beautiful space hidden off of Peachtree Road. Came here during the Atlanta Preservation Center's Phoenix Flies and really enjoyed the docent tour! All Georgia artwork.
Really cool place that features many talented local artists. The curator took time to discuss the exhibits and that really added another dimension to my visit.
Excellent museum featuring and supporting Georgia based contemporary artists. Impressive how much great art is created here in Georgia.
My favorite museum in Raleigh. The exhibits are always amazing & so beautiful. Staff is friendly, it is never crowded or feels rushed.
I was a guest at a wedding here and it was just lovely! The staff were attentive and very knowledgeable about the art and artists.
Amazing collection of contemporary local artists. (Personal photos not for public use, no copyright infringement intended).
I thought I'd taken a wrong turn, but it's there on the right, down the hill by all the electricity gear. A nice gallery.
This place is small, but we enjoyed ourselves & actually got to speak with one of the artists whose work was on display.
It was very nice!... The art there was very lovely... And they also have a professional photographer...
First time there so experience is limiting for comparison to other venues. Great art work and setup
We go there often. This is another good hidden place in Atlanta where not many people know about.
Smaller, quiet museum with very interesting, unique and thought provoking art work.
Love the exhibits. Always pushing the limits of art. Puts Atlanta on the map.
Very poor exhibitions, confusing museography and expensive entrance ($8.00)
Love love love the work of the artists they feature and support!
Pin-up art show, fun evening!
