Add this to your Must Do While In Austin list! I had the best time exploring the Museum of Illusions. And I went solo. First, I advise planning for 45 minutes to fully enjoy all the exhibits and take tons of photos. Although I traveled solo, the staff is so great with capturing the photos for you. Haley was the best photo assistant ever! She's really good. Second, this is for everyone. I love the beauty and fun of science so it's hard to visit a space like this and not leave with laughs. And I highly suggest the Vortex Room. That one got me. Lastly, the staff is such a joy. Take your time and get engaged. They're available to create a great experience so talk to them. For $25 this experience was so worth it. I do suggest visiting on a weekday because it's not crazy busy in the early hours.

This place is wonderful and a very nice place for family/friends/date (not just for viewing but also taking up the challenges presented for you on the table). I want to post many more pictures however I do not want to diminish the magic and wonder of the first time. Let me clearly state that I am making reservations for friends and family to go, and I will plan a later return for more planned photos for framing. P.S. you are required to make reservations online in advance (you will recognize why when you go through).

It was our first time here. We made reservations since they use crowd control; they do accept walk in thou. Is very interactive and a cellphone for pictures is a must. The only issue is that a lot of pictures online are from different city exhibits so we were expecting some backgrounds that are not from Austin. The duration of the entire walk thru is about 45 minutes, a little bit short for the $24 per person. Overall was a good entertaining experience.

Hosted our daughter's birthday party at the museum and the team went over and beyond. Delilah, Carson, & staff were simply amazing! They made the event easy, fun, and all were very helpful! Great customer service! All of the kids and parents enjoyed the event. The museum was clean, exhibits were fun to explore, and the experience was overall great. Highly recommended!

I had zero expectations going in, but it would have far exceeded anything I could have imagined! We had a blast! It wouldn’t have been the same without Carson, the best employee/guide/hype man/photographer, etc. He was what made our experience so fantastic for sure! If you’re thinking about going, 10/10 highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this museum. There is no time limit, so you can take your time enjoying the different rooms they have. Be sure to bring your phone charged to take pictures. They have some nice staff that can assist with group pictures. We did leave a little dizzy, but it went away within a few minutes.

We held a birthday party for our 12 year old and 10 friends, and it was so much fun! Delilah and Carson were the best to work with. So organized, and they pulled together decorations that were on point. They made it so easy to host a really fun party. Highly recommend!

It wasn't crowded nor packed with kids when my boyfriend and I went here. Carson and Herman were wonderful and helpful during our visit. They have over 50 exhibits here most are interactive and absolutely fun I highly recommend visiting with your boo or friends

I was traveling into Austin solo and this museum was awesome. Trinity really helped give the full experience and was extremely helpful to show new angles to the illusion for a better experience. Lots of great photo opportunities and again want to credit Trinity for being a great hype man and available to capture these photos!
