The museum is cool. The exhibits are interesting. The most fun part about the place is the interactive games they have towards the end. Had a great time HOWEVER the woman in the front opening the door 11/26/23 at around 6pm she needs to be FIRED. She is rude, and very very demeaning. Right from the start she started attacking my boyfriend and I for not getting our ID out fast enough when there was no one behind or infront of us, she also went on a rampage about "our mothers being ashamed of us for not respecting a property" and continued to say over and over that we should be ashamed (FOR DROPPING SOMETHING OUT OF A POCKET WHEN DIGGING FOR OUR WALLETS FOR OUR IDs) she ruined the experience from the start being at the very front of the store. She also slammed the door behind us shut as we left. She should not be the face you see from the beginning. She went beyond the point of scolding, she wanted to embarrass us and projectile her clear hate for her job onto us.

What a fun location for a date. While it wasn’t as explicit as I was thinking it would be, the museum did a fantastic job blending sex and it’s importance it has played throughout history and pop culture. I love the different levels of the building and how each floor concept thoughtfully curated. The best part was the adult themed carnival games which were a blast to play. This Museum is 18+ and is best explored with a partner or a group of friends. A bar on site and a full novelty shop when you enter. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Ticket packages vary but they all include entry and one round of all the games. Excellent trip and would recommend it for something different.

This museum is for STRAIGHT people. Not that big of a deal, but if you’re queer, then you won’t be shocked by any of this stuff nor will you feel represented. It is also kinda geared towards couples, so be warned about that. I will admit that the interactive parts were fun enough. In addition, the staff working in the shop were not the greatest. I paid for the ticket that included a “standard sperm toy,” which they didn’t have immediately accessible, despite other customers literally carrying one. Not sure what happened there, but would have preferred my money back or, just maybe, go grab one from wherever? I paid for it… The individual working at the register was not very nice either.

Like everyone else this has been high on my list of places to go while in NYC. We finally made the plan to go this time and while we admittedly had a blast, it was a bit of a let down in a way. The Super Funland aspect was obviously the best part and was a ton of fun. But the actual “museum” exhibit aspect definitely lacked. All in all, we’re glad we took the time and spent the money to go but don’t be too disappointed if you can’t fit it into your trip this time around. And if you do go, don’t miss the Photo Booth in the gift shop on your way out.

Very fun and definitely took my boyfriend out his comfort zone The first part is a normal museum with artefacts and info. Really cool stuff. The second part is a “carnival” type of thing and there are some interactive games and experiences there That’s all I’ll say. I have a 4 star though because of the price point. I ordered tickets online and I feel that we could’ve gotten away with just the lowest tier and still could’ve done everything.

One of my favorite museums to visit. Even my husband enjoyed himself. This is truly the spot to learn more and explore society's ideas about sex. The exhibits change on a regular basis, so don't think one visit is going to be enough. There is quite a bit to soak in. And it's not just educational. There's a good dose of fun as well. Naturally, there's a gift shop available. Stop and find a few books, toys, and other items you or someone else would enjoy.

Not too sure how long it’ll last but the latest attraction there was lots of fun (SuperFunland). I had been to the museum before (a couple of years ago) however it was more informative than fun. This time I truly enjoyed myself. The museum itself had way better pieces and interesting information. Super Funland was a lot of fun , the moving introduction show was a really nice touch. I would really recommend going here.

Amazing time at the museum and the shop! Please go!! But do not rush through the museum. Take your time to go through and really pay attention. There is so much in here and it’s easy to miss if you go too quickly. You can tell it’s been carefully curated and not just “oh it’s dirty or sexy so throw it in” - The shop staff was busy, but I get it, they were crazy busy with people and probably more worried about watching for people stealing and not worried about the ones buying.

I visited on a Saturday with a group of 3. We had pre-purchased tickets with a time reserved for 2:40pm. When we arrived, there was no line to get in, scanned our tickets and the experience began! Logistics were a breeze and the museum itself was so much more than I could have expected! The historical floors were so interesting to learn about and the carnival was AMAZING!! Interesting, to say the least! Nice place to bring a date, with cocktails at the upstairs bar. I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun this museum was. Also quite informative on history and many different rooms to visit. Each room has a different theme. I also really enjoyed the cute game room, where you can win prizes. You enter and exit through the gift shop. There was a 10 minute wait in the evening. I went with my daughter & wasn't even embarrassed with her there. It was quite informative in a classy way, as any museum would be.

It was very interesting. We had a lot of fun even with our time constraints. The price is certainly worth it with how much stuff they have for you to look at and games to play. I would recommend you portion a good amount of time to look and explore their exhibits. We did not unfortunately, but still had tons of for the time we had. Every employee was so nice and understanding. Can't say enough good things about it.

I went in with low expectations but honestly had an amazing time. The first half of the museum was super informative and interesting and then the Super Funland experience was so fun and over the top. Go in knowing that it’s going to be silly and have fun with it. The Tunnel of Love experience was by far my favorite and not at all what I was expecting - don’t miss it! Overall, yes it’s expensive but as a native New Yorker looking for something new to do on a Thursday night during Dry January, I’d say it was completely worth it.

This was an amazing, if not slightly bizarre experience. We came here after seeing it was included on the New York pass. The place has a great explanation of history. There’s also a bar, cinema and loads of games to play, which I absolutely wasn’t expecting at all. It also has a really cool vibe generally and the staff are informative. I’d recommend this place. However, just be aware that the New York pass doesn’t cover playing the games.

PRUDE, SHREWD, DUDE NOPE! This was an amazing all inclusive project well respected of all genres. Let me be the 1st to say we are in the city to celebrate my girl's milestone birthday and she ain't been a "girl" in a minute lol. What a blast. For any adult looking to have fun and open-minded about sex this is a fun place. The adult toys for sale are obviously priced a bit high but the museum is what you're there for. Standard ticket is 36 and you can add stuff on. You get to go through the museum and they have a good collection. When I went there was a pink room on display which is a great photo op. The interactive games were super fun, you get to play everything once. After you’re done you slide (literally down a slide) into the bar. A little pricey but would definitely recommend! I've always wanted to check this place out and wasn't disappointed. You're taken on a trip from videos and artifacts on sex toys, sex history through music, films, etc, and it's definitely a good teaching tool. Awesome place to visit. It started off slow but by the end it was well worth the price of admission. You're met with a couple galleries to start with but it really turns up with the games. They are all QR code equipped and you get to play multiple games. There are 2 rides in there as well. There's also a slide at the end to get you to the lounge area. Excellent place to visit but would not plan a day around it. We coupled it with a trip to the Warhol Art Gallery and it worked out perfectly.

This was way better than I had expected; the museum is well put together and very well done. It’s entertaining but also informative, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Probably the most fun I’ve had in a museum in NYC! The new exhibit is cool and definitely recommended for dates and friends; you could even drink at their bar at the end of the experience!

Very fun, VERY interactive, all of the games were included in the price of the ticket (including the claw machine games). There was plenty of chances to win prizes and the gift shop has a big range of items. There's a bar in one of the play rooms. If you are looking for an “unconventional” night out, this museum is worth checking out. The staff who work here are upbeat, creating a fun atmosphere. A place organized with an idea, divided into different zones, starting from historical exposition through modern multimedia presentations, ending of course with an adult toys store. Had a ton fun here, but wish the museum was a bit bigger! Tons of cool photo ops and activities, especially if you’re going with a friend. Such an amazing experience. Literally FLOORS OF FUN. i loved that this place was not only informational and impactful, but fun and unique as ever. I felt like I was launched into different period’s of time on each floor. I was hesitant about going here at first assuming it was going to be one of the similar just photo op tourist museums. But this place is actually super fun & cool there's so much to do and a bunch of freebies you get throughout the museum. I think we ended up spending 2 hours here and I would definitely do it again.
