Sadly, I would not recommend Music City Autoplex based on my experience after purchasing a used 2020 Mini Cooper Coutryman from salesperson Octavus/Chloe in May 2023. The car was relatively new and by all outward accounts looked like it was in great working order. Octavus and Chloe assured me so. This was all deceptive. I found some quality problems within days like a check engine light and metal in my tire. But then came the additional major, costly repairs including a broken air compressor in the SUMMER with triple digit heat and roters that need to be replaced within just TWO months of purchasing the car, failures that would have presented signs and would not have gone unnoticed by any reputable dealership upon acquiring the vehicle to resell. After reaching out to the manager, Rick they were unwilling to take any measures to rectify the situation. Poor, dishonest customer service, pressurized selling tactics and absolutely untrustworthy. Consider a different dealership for your business. A lot of the negative reviews have been buried but if you filter by low ratings, you will find other customers were also sold lemon cars. **ADDED TO REPLY TO THEIR COMMENT** In their response to my review they stated there were "efforts to address these issues (referring to the air compressor and rotor replacement)," and " we did explore the possibility of trading your vehicle for another one," in a misleading attempt to imply they actually spoke to me about fixing these issues or options. That is false. They absolutely offered no help with fixing these issues or trade in and I would welcome a call from management to explain what options are available. If they mean they talked amongst themselves and decided they really did knowingly sell me a lemon car and can't do anything about it now bc it's too costly for them, yes sure. That sounds consistent with my experience. Major mechanical issues like the A/C breaking and rotars going out on a 3 year old vehicle, you can decide if that was "unexpected" .

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Saw a 2014 Dodge Ram on their website. Listed at $17,200. We came in, we were desperate because we needed a work truck and had poor credit. They got us approved but we had to pay $6,100 down. They financed the down payment over 3 weeks. 2 weeks later they told us we had to pay an additional $2,000 down or bring the truck back. We came up to the dealership and told them that we were NOT going to pay any more money and they could have the truck back. They told us nevermind on the additional $2,000. We did not have to pay it anymore and the $6,100 would be fine. We signed the papers, and as we we're signing them we kept clarifying that the down payment would be applied to the list price. They kept talking in circles and we were led to believe that it would! Fast forward a couple months and we have contacted the dealership and the bank because the numbers are not right at all. List price was $17,200 and we financed a little over $17,000!? We have called them and the bank and asked about the down payment several times. Basically, we paid $1,000 for gap insurance, tax tag and title, and they charged us $2,700 for a "bank fee". I asked them if they could at least buy the truck back for what we still owe, $16,681, they said absolutely not. What a crooked dealership. They saw we were desperate and took FULL advantage. Do NOT go here to purchase anything. Oh and I almost forgot, 3 weeks after we signed the papers, they still tried to charge our account for the additional $2,000. It did not go through, Thank God! CROOKED!

First of all I want to acknowledge the sales representative I had at Music City Auto Plex , Frank Messinger went above and beyond at helping me to not only find a car for myself but one for my daughter as well he assisted me with the fresh start program it’s for people who have had to file bankruptcy in the past so please don’t think if you filed bankruptcy that you cannot get a new car I am now the proud owner of a beautiful 2018 Hyundai Sonata and that is because he worked with me and helped to make it happen he stayed till almost 10 PM that night to finalize the deal for my daughter and myself. My car had a small crack on the windshield and hers had a small part broken on the tail light , Kimberly in their department arranged for me to have my car taken to Chattanooga because I was two hours away made the appointment and I was able to get the windshield repair done at no cost to me or inconvenience of having to go back to Nashville they got the tail light in for my daughter as well . I have never seen a car dealership treat their customers the way that these two did so hats off to you Frank for being an outstanding salesman going above and beyond in-your job description ! A big thank you to Kimberly as well for being so quick and getting the appointments made and everything necessary to get the windshield repaired as well as the tail light! So plan your trip to go see Frank Messinger and buy you a new car tell them I referred you lol you will not be disappointed he will assist you in finding what is perfect for you!

This dealership is awful. I wouldn’t even give them one star if google allowed me not to. They sold me a lemon. The salesman I worked with not only talked me into something I didn’t really want but this car is a total dud. Only 2 months into having it and the air compressor is already out, and I found out that the rotors need to be replaced. Also when I first got it there was metal in a tire and I had to bring it back to get it fixed and they just put a patch on it. Not only that but I also had to get the evap system fixed too after just having it a couple days. They haven’t worked with me at all and pretty much just told me I’m on my own with the repairs. Do not recommend coming to this dealership at all. Worst car dealership I’ve ever dealt with. I typically don’t ever leave bad reviews but I am bc of how they’ve treated me. Not only that but I’ll be reporting to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Found the truck my wife and I wanted to look at. Called Chloe and had a very good experience with her, she was helpful and made the first part of the experience pleasant. Agreed on an out the door price with everything included(including the loan fee). When we signed the loan papers the finance guy agreed that everything was included in the agreed upon otd price. Then when we got the loan setup to pay in the app it showed that the loan fee was added on top of the otd price. Tried calling and leaving messages with the dealership and no response. Happy with the vehicle, not happy with the way they slid that extra charge in on us. Edit: The dealership got in contact with us and made amends. We appreciate the effort they put in to make things right and are now happy with the end result.

My husband and I went there to check out some new cars and see about trading in my Jeep. We worked with Hunter and Buck and we could not have been happier. Hunter went above and beyond while showing me vehicles on the lot and actually listened to what I was saying I wanted and needed in a vehicle and showed me exactly what I was looking for! (And he made it so enjoyable!) Buck made sure everything was smooth sailing and that we got exactly what we were looking for and had no questions or concerns. We love our new vehicle and I will recommend Hunter and Buck at Music City Autoplex anytime someone asks about buying a car. We also got the best little “Thank you video” a couple days later which made the whole experience very personable!!

I would highly recommend this dealership. Theo in finance is extremely thorough and very caring. My deal started off rough but he and my amazing salesman Buck stood by me every step of the way. They helped me troubleshoot my problem even coming to pick up my vehicle and deliver me a loaner car a couple times. They helped me find the vehicle that worked best for my families needs. They were very communicate and fast to respond to me even after business hours. They helped me surprise my fiancee with a new truck and made the process pretty painless. I came in to look at truck I had seen on their website while I happened to be at another dealer down the road. I was partnered with DJ, and the entire experience from start to finish was the most positive truck buying experience I’ve had. DJ, Chris in finance & Kimberly were over-communicative and ensured my complete satisfaction through the extra steps we had to take with additional finance paperwork & they also issued a repair order for a malfunction in the passenger step which was completed on within an hour of my scheduled appt time. I couldn’t be happier with the way the deal went, and I’m happily running in my 2018 Denali!

Saturday we were shopping for cars for my wife, no intentions of buying that day, but needed to very soon. We stopped at a dealership right before that, just wasn’t that great in service, and couldn’t find anything we liked. So we decided to go over to Music City Autoplex, Martin started helping us find what she wanted and found her the perfect car, he was absolutely amazing through out the whole process ended up buying it that day. But they had us in and out of there so quick and everyone we talked to was great! Definitely recommend them for any of your car buying needs! Again Martin was great in every way!

Great experience. It took a min to get me into a vehicle, but that was on my end. April K. kept working with me until they found me something that I liked. Considering my credit is not the best, and working with a minimum down payment, she shook it for me. Adante G. was also an assist, he gave me valuable information from a friend's point of view and made this buy more comfortable for me. So they work great as a team at M.C.A. My guy Martin went above and beyond. Reached out to him regarding a new Ram when I pulled up he had it ready for me to take it for a spin. Not once did he push me on the sale it was like I was taking a drive with a friend. If you’re looking for someone to take care of you, you need to go see Martin! I purchased a 2020 For Edge. Short test drive was great. I work downtown so I ever only drive it to work and catch. I noticed a couple months ago when driving in traffic with a lot of stopping and going I was hearing noise from front driver break. It only does it when coming to a complete stop. It goes away then comes back and now seems louder. That wheel gets a lot of break dust compared to passenger side. I Texted fo assistane and still no date to be fixed. Shouldn't need breaks 6months into a very expensive car.!

I was a little apprehensive to deal with a "used car dealer" but after the initial call I received a video introduction from Rodger (the salesman). I was pretty impressed with the personal service. I was also a little concerned that I was "required" to finance the vehicle through them in order to get the online price. The purchase went through smoothly and, so far, my only complaint is that they only had 1 key. Another key will cost me $400+.

I stopped by here last night, in desperation, to look for a used car. Before I arrived, I spoke with J and told him my situation. He was nothing but kind to me and my girlfriend during the process. While I was anxious, he walked me through everything and explained it all in great detail. I walked out with a 2021 Nissan Versa. I can’t express enough how appreciate I am of him and the team at Music City! I’ll definitely be recommending them.

I have to say that I had been very upset with other places not listening to me and trying. Thankfully, the good Lord reminded me that I should try MCA and here I found my angel. Was in need of a new truck and saw multiple options at the MC Autoplex.
