WORST CAB RIDE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, the hotel we are staying at couldn't pick us up from the airport with their shuttle bus and said to catch a cab and they would settle it when we got back to the hotel. We got a cab and told the driver to take us to our hotel and they would settle with him, he was not happy and said I must pay him to which I agreed from then onwards my wife and I were subject to his tirade because it was a short fare and he has to pay $5 and has to wait at the airport, he then proceeded to use his mobile phone while driving, narrowly missing concrete barriers twice. Once at our destination he drove very slowly into the hotel parking area while the meter clocked over, my wife told him to stop at the reception and he drove a bit past to clock up more on the meter, he never turned off the meter when we stopped but sat there for a while then gave me a blank receipt, I took out $20 to pay him and the meter clocked over again, then he said $11.50 I told him to turn off the meter and he started shouting at us to get out of his cab and that I don't want to pay him, he then got out a pulled the side door open and shouted at us again to get out, he then stormed into the reception and proceeded to shout at the clerk, telling him he doesn't deal with third parties etc. I started to take pictures of his cab and tried to get a picture of his taxi id when he stormed at me, shouting at me. I tried to take his picture as there was no id displayed in the cab to identify him to his employer and he hit my phone out of my hand and came for me, I pushed him back and he punched me in the face, this was witnessed by numerous other guests that were in the reception. I told him I was calling the police and he must wait as he had assualted me, he then proceeded to quickly get his money from the clerk and left in a hurry. Reported incident to company and police. P.S. The cab was filthy dirty and you could hardly see out the windsceen, no wonder Uber and other ride share companies are thriving.

Spent a few nights in Nashville with my girlfriends this past week and Henee from Music City was our driver from the airport. We needed a ride that night to the Grand ole Opry but he was not working that night so we used another service and set up to and from transportation, well we made it to the opry but but as we were talking to the driver on the line for pickup after he was directing us where he was parked we said we see him we just needed to cross the road, well in this time he was loading other passengers in. This was a super big deal because I am in a power wheelchair and there are not many cabs that can take me. We went up and explained the situation with those getting in and they felt awful (wasn't their fault) and they got out because they could catch any cab but the driver sat there and tried to turn it all around. Next night Henee was off so we tried another service and set up a pickup time for 8:15pm and no one showed even with several calls to the company!! A phone call to Henee and said he could come when his wife gets home to stay with their children but we said no that we aren't doing that to him but he promised he would take care of us the following day. Yup when we were ready to go downtown he dropped his kids off at his father in laws and picked us up at 2:00pm and said to call him when we are done downtown which was around midnight and he was there. He worked the entire night and picked us up the following morning at 8:30am to bring us to the airport. If it wouldn't have been for him I'm not really sure if we would have gone anywhere or even make it to the airport for our flight! He was incredible, caring and friendly!! Handicapped or not I would ONLY call Henee for taxi service, he's the only one you can depend on!! Henee is who made our trip possible to experience Nashville! Thank you Henee, you're the best!!!

Very polite reps but what an awful experience. I called and was advised that the driver would be a half hour- I was not told that I needed to be expecting a confirmation call or anything to indicate that there was any reason the driver would not be picking me up. So I, under the impression that I have a half hour call for a car rental reservation and get in the shower. I get out and see 3 missed calls with no voicemail. Being that there's no voicemail or indication as to what the calls are for I pay no mind to them. 45 minutes later no one has come. I call for an update and am told that because I didn't answer the calls to confirm the guy just decided he wasn't going to come, even though I had literally requested the cab 10 minutes prior. Also no answer as to why they didn't leave a voicemail and did not tell me there would be a confirmation call. At this point I'm considering just cancelling the appointment I'm supposed to have 3.5 hours away that it is going to be close on time for, especially since I have a $150 rental I'm supposed to be picking up due to my car being in the shop. She tells me the guy is close so if I'm still interested he'll be right out. I ask for an estimate. She tells me fifteen minutes. He calls me 5 minutes later and tells me he's TWENTY FIVE MINUTES AWAY which now officially makes me late for where I'm supposed to be. I, obviously frustrated, note that she told me fifteen minutes and that he was actually supposed to be there twenty minutes ago. He argues with me telling me it's my fault because they tried to call and I didn't answer. I again point out that they did not leave a voicemail and he simply continues repeating his arguments for why it's my fault. Finally he picks me up and when we get to the rental location he turns around and asks if I'm going to leave him a tip. Awful awful awful.

Use access ride, and they use this piece of garbage taxi company to pick up their customers. I had a scheduled pick up at 11:00 to 11:30. The idiot calls me at 10:41 a.m., confirming my pickup time. I told him you are to be here between the hours agreed upon. I went on my front porch to wait for the guy. During the phone call, I asked him if he was going to be there in 15 minutes. He said yes. I waited and waited for about 23 minutes. I got a phone call from access ride telling me the driver had me down as a no-show. That was a lie! I verified my location and the color of the vehicle in front of my house. I contacted access ride and filed a complaint. The supervisor I spoke with offered to send another ride, which would have made me late to my appointment. The driver lied to me and the access ride supervisor. They need to turn their drivers license in and suspend his green card and everything in between. Terrible and horrible low down dirty ball face lying demon. I hope you read this. You know you lied! I have cameras to prove it! You never showed up. Do not EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Piece of trash

Booked a pick up at home for the airport via the website Called to confirm after online booking and got the 'okay' Driver called an hour before pick up and left me a voicemail that he was confirming that was not my pick up time, but an hour before--like the same time he called to say he was confirming. Driver called back a four minutes later to confirm my correct time slot and need to confirm in order to come and get me. Called the driver back 30 minutes before pick up and he said my trip was canceled. I explained I had already confirmed with dispatch and was WORKING and on the phone when he called. He said he would call dispatch and call me back. The driver never called back. Tried to call dispatch and nobody every picked up after multiple calls. Booked an LYFT who picked me up in less than 10 minutes and got me there on time. NEVER AGAIN--COME ON PEOPLE, THIS IS WHAT YOU DO. I genuinely think the driver just didn't want to pick me up and take me to the airport. If I could give a zero or negative number, I would. You had ONE job.

A VERY bad experience, we order cab for 3:50am to take us to the airport for an international flight. We were coming out of the house and bringing the luggage and stroller (we have two young kids), the driver left us behind and said I have to go to next customer. The time was 3:54am. I called the dispatch of the company and he started to yell at me saying I’m late. This is not true. It took us 5 minutes to bring all the our stuff to the car. Our flight was at 6:30am and we were left to call another taxi or Uber big enough to take our stuff. This was very unprofessional, inhuman, and very bad experience with this company. I had to pay extra because I ended up taking my own car to airport and parked there for a month!!! Bc of 4 minutes. The driver had an attitude same the Dispatch. I can’t believe they would leave a family with small children in the street! Do not use this company!!!!!

I was planning my trip to Nashville for the NASCAR Championship Week with my disabled spouse. We called this company and booked an ADA cab for 2 events 2 weeks in advance. Was told everything was all set. Reconfirmed the cab the morning of the first event. Time for pick up and no cab. We called, were told he would be at the hotel in 10-15 minutes, he didn't show. When we tried to call again they ended up hanging up on us. So we walked the 10 minutes to the event missing part of the show..plus I was wearing heels. Had to walk back to the hotel after the show at almost midnight and cold. Called the next day was assured the cab would show for the next event. Guess what they didn't. I had to walk in a formal gown and heels. So now I have blisters. They are not reliable. When you have a spouse in a wheelchair you can't take just any cab. We trusted them and were let down.

My wife and I just caught one of their taxis from garage 2 at BNA. I tried to confirm rates with the driver who repeatedly told me “just get in car sir”. My intention was only to check what rate if flat or if it was metered. When the driver entered the van, he mumbled something unintelligible and I said “Holiday inn Express downtown music city center” I believe he stopped listening after holiday inn because we landed at the holiday inn on 4th. Not being from this area, we got out thinking we had arrived only to be told by the desk agent that we were at the HI not express. Mr. “$35 plus tip” had already departed so my $40 ride grew by $15 including tip to my only service provider while in town from now on an Uber. Give these drivers some lessons or testing. Terrible manners, worse English and really bad service are a recipe for failure.

Cab number 40.. The man was an older middle eastern man. He was rushing me. I was finishing up washing at the laundry mat. I was in the process of bagging them up when he called me to tell me he was outside. In the span of 5 minutes, he called me 5 times asking me if i was coming or not even after i had told him what i was doing and would be out in a minute. And even when i was loading my clothes into the cab, he continued on about how much of a hurry he was in. I finally told him that id get another way and that he can go-on to whatever it was that needed his attention so badly. I called the companies diapatch and spoke to the young lady about the incident. Although she was nice and regretful about it. She didnt even attempt to rectify the situation. It goes without saying ill not be useing music city taxi again.

Called more than an hour in advance, asking for a taxi at 10:30 to go for a covid test in a drive thru. I received a call from the driver at 10:35 telling me he would be 20 minutes late. Called dispatch to know if somebody else could be there faster since we had an appointment at 10:45 . The answer was always that `` someone is on the way ``. Called back at 11:00 and still the same answer. Turns out that we're still waiting on that taxi ! Ended up calling an uber, showed up in 3 minutes, was friendly enough to do the drive thru with us free of charge. Uber for the win all the way! The taxi industry is over and I will never call one again. Uber can really do it all and do yourself a favor, avoid to call a taxi or at least, not at this place.

If you actually want someone to pick you up, this is not the company to call. The dispatcher was rude. Nonetheless, he said the driver would be calling me shortly when he was on the way. This never happened. I booked the ride at 9 pm and it’s now almost 11 pm and he still hasn’t called. The restaurant we were at closed down and we stood outside in the dark, cold night with spotty internet trying to figure out how to get home, while continuing to call back this undependable taxi company to no avail. After countless calls, no one ever answered the phone. I used to defend cab companies. Now I understand why Uber and Lyft are so popular. That’s how we finally got home tonight. I will never call this particular cab company again.

Why do you have to wait 10 hours for a cab why are all the cabs sitting at the airports waiting when they can pick you up which makes them money. Its Sunday morning I had called for a cab at 515 am the operator said he will get one to me. Now 633 am comes alo g and I called back to the cab company and the operator said no one has picked up m it call yet. For reals still no one an hour and 15 min later no one has responded. Like were are the cab drivers they are everywhere but no one will pick up the call why the hell do we even have cab company's out here in nashville if they are not going to be accepting cost to make money. That's B.S........what's the deal

I don’t usually leave reviews, but we have had the worst experience dealing with this taxi service! We called dispatch for two vans to take 8 people and luggage to the bus station. One small car and one van showed up and could only fit 6 people, leaving 2 people standing at our location. We called dispatch to tell them about the mix up and they were rude and wanted to charge us to send another car. I told them that we should’nt have to pay more for their mistake but they did it want to resolve the issue. We ended up having to take the other two people to the bus station ourselves and still be out the money we paid for two vans.

First time using Music City cabs. The driver came on time, but was not highly personable, which is okay. I guess not everybody is in a good mood all the time. When we were nearing the destination (I had a slight idea of where it was), he got lost and took a wrong turn. Upon asking why he doesn't use a GPS, he said he doesn't like GPS !!! In today's day and age, when you are in a TAXI service industry and if you don't know the place, why not use GPS?! I still tipped him because well, not giving tip was harsh, but only 10%. Not sure if I would like to experience this again in case I need to be somewhere on time.

I made reservation online with Nashvegas and received a confirmed for a 4am pickup. I was ready to go an the expected pickup time. No one was there at 4:05am so I have them a call to make sure the driver was not having a difficult time finding me. The dispatcher put me on hold and then told me that none of their drivers excepted the job. I said but I received a confirmation email from her company. She said that didn’t matter and I needed to contact another taxi service. She was not rude but did seem indifferent. My guess is this is a normal occurrence. Don’t rely on them to get you to the airport.

If there was a zero star, this is what they deserve. This cab Co. Is a ripoff. The guy on 7 -7 -23 , picked us up at the Drury Downtown to go to the airport. We arrived at airport and the guy charged us 40 dollars. He didn't have his meter on either. The cost has always been 30 dollars plus 1 dollar per person to go to airport or to downtown. We went back the same direction to the airport. Have tried to contact co. But keep getting the run around. I notified the Drury Downtown to tell them of our experience. I will continue to get a supervisor to talk to them. Wish me luck.

AVOID. Horrible experience. Cab 86. Middle eastern/North African driver. Rude, belligerent. Creepy. I gave hotel address from airport making sure he knew it was going to be a short drive. Didn't deserve a tip but I gave 15% as it was lowest option. He proceeded to yell at me about the tip being too low and kept door locked until I asked twice to unlock the door. A frightening experience all around but does not reflect on the super wonderful locals of Nashville who more than made up for this terrible, horrible driver. Avoid at all cost.

After another taxi service went silent on us this morning, I called this company and the dispatcher was friendly and said he could get us a taxi in 15-20 mins and the driver would call. Several minutes pass, no driver called. I called the dispatcher back, he said 15 mins again, I asked for a driver number to confirm, the dispatcher then said the driver didn’t answer! What a liar. Don’t use this service unless you want to miss your early morning flight. You’re a taxi service — you have only one job and couldn’t do that!

I called on Thursday, 12/22 and reserved a taxi to the airport for Friday morning, December 23rd. That evening, the weather became bad, and so we decided to cancel our trip, even though the airline hadn't yet cancelled our flight. It was 3:00 a.m., and I called Music City Taxi dispatch to cancel our taxi. My call went directly to a holding queue, and stayed that way for 4 and 1/2 hours. No one ever picked up. Our taxi never showed up at the scheduled time either. I never received a phone call from Music City Taxi.

Had a time slot reserved drivers never showed I got a call 20 minutes before that I had missed and instead of still coming to to the house for the scheduled time they turned around. I called the driver back who told me this. When I called dispatch he yelled that they came and we weren't there so they left (not true)! I was then hung up on so I tried to call back three times and I was hung up on repeatedly. Extremely unprofessional and not reliable! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Charged me $63 for 3 miles. Absolute rip off. Paid $10 earlier in the day for the same ride through Uber. Driver took my card without telling me a price. Tried to hide his phone so I could see the amount, I proceeded to complain that $63 for 3 miles is ridiculous and I would never use them again. Driver says rates go up on the weekend and tells me he will give me 20% off for a total of $48ish. Once he left he submitted the charge for the full amount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I called to order a taxi on a friday at 1245am and my destination was the dangerous greyhound station (once your inside station, DO NOT LEAVE) I told the dispatch the time as ASAP "when nashville parties, they party" I called back an hour later for a "eta", the dispatcher laughs and says...i haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. Boy was i pissed! I called ABC Taxi in or by hermitage...they were there in 10 minutes and was a lot cheaper as well.

I would like to thank Music City Taxi for all their help! I was the truck driver that broke down on the side of the freeway. Just my luck on a Saturday with no available shops open to Assist. I called Kenworth, they had the part but they did not deliver. Music City Taxi went to Kenworth to pick up the part and bring it to me on the Side of the road. I was able to fix it and back on the road in less than two hours. Awesome people!

This company advertises accessible taxis, however, even when booking 7 days in advance by their request they have three times now told me that “medical transport takes priority.” If you’re medical only or prioritize medical, that needs to be known well in advance of the pickup time. Not be told 15 mins before your pickup time when other arrangements to catch a flight could’ve been made. Absolutely no regard for others’ time.

Do not use this company!!! My friend and I took a cab home after a night out in downtown Nashville. She was drunk and paid for the ride but forgot to keep her receipt. When she looked at her bank statement she found that they had charged her $450 dollars for a 10 min cab ride! She’s still fighting with the company and Discover to get it refunded. The company is claiming one of us threw up in the cab which we did not.

I was at an intersection waiting to get on the on-ramp to I-24 in downtown Nashville. Cab driver behind me honks at me for not moving forward (where I would have been blocking the intersection) and proceeds to speed around and try to pass me on my right. Reading the previous reviews it sounds like this company doesn’t care that their drivers are rude AND dangerous. Cab was a white van with the number #59 on the back.

I made a reservation online and called the number as per the reservation information to confirm it. Taxi was supposed to pick me up at my work and take me to the hospital for surgery. They are forty minutes late. When they were ten minutes late I called and was told because I didn't answer my phone they didn't want to waste their time to come. I was in a meeting. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had to use a taxi service to get home from the hospital after being hit by a car. They canceled on me at the last minute leaving my wife no way to get me home tour our four month old baby after I was discharged from the hospital. They offered no explanation and no apology. They joke is on them, we used another company to help me get around town until was out of my wheelchair.

Charged me 20 dollars to take me to the store one mile away from my house and brought me back. Then told me to hurry up when I went in the gas station not to mention he was smoking cigarettes with me in the cab . Set up a reservation for 6 am on a Sunday the day before. They called me at 4 to left me know that the person who took the call was inexperienced and that I needed to get them a photo copy of my credit card and if I couldn’t they’d have to cancel my ride. It’s 4 am and I have no means of getting where I need to go. Highly disappointed and stranded.

I scheduled MULTIPLE buses to shuttle people back to the hotel from my wedding over a week out. They failed to show up, and when I called they hung up on me and told me to calm down - Not to mention I never got my $65 back PER BUS. Do not use them no matter how bad you need a service?l because they will cancel 30 minutes before pickup at 10 pm.

We were stuck at 1 am, family member was being transferred to another hospital, car was at our hotel and you were the only company that helped us get to the other hospital. We booked the night before for 9am pickup from Best Western Plus. The cab driver from Checker Cab was on time and friendly. His vehicle could have been cleaner. We arrived to the airport within 10 min. He dropped us off to the South area but we were flying out on the North side. Overall we would use them again.

Literally called 1 hour ahead of time and was told to call back bc they werent taking reservations. I called back then 30 minutes before my time and the car still took over 40 minutes to get to me. I was late for work and still had to pay 20 for a 10 minute ride. This is why Taxis are going out of business.

Scheduled a day in advance. Everything was confirmed by dispatcher. Pick up time came and went. Tried calling dispatch. Was put on hold and was kept waiting. Kept trying. No one ever answered. Ended up calling Lyft which is what I should have done to begin with. Never again! I wish I could give -0 stars.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Scheduled a 3:45am ride to the airport they completely lost the record of the call. No one showed up. I was supposed to get a ride to the airport today. I scheduled it yesterday. Nobody showed up and I ended up having to drove and almost kissed my flight!!! I called and they out me on hold for ten minutes when checking on my cab and finally hung up and jumped in my car. Awful service!!! Never again.

Don’t waste your time. I called for a cab at 2:11. At 2:45 the driver called to say it would be about 20 minutes. I waited an hour until 3:45 and he never showed. I called the company and they said the trip had been cancelled. I had to be somewhere before closing and missed my deadline. Zero stars.

Took this cab for a 1.2 mile ride from Broadway to our VRBO. He charged us $25.00!!! I should have called him out. Taking advantage of women during the evening shift. He should be ashamed.

Just took a 3 mile cab ride and was charged $60 cash because he wouldn’t take a card. What an absolute rip off! These people complain Uber is putting them out of business and they should!

Great ride this morning. We had an early ride to the airport (4:30). Driver was 15 minutes early, loaded our luggage, was super friendly despite the time. Nice job.
