Been seeing Dr. Widdicombe for 4 decades. That's 40 years! This was first visit since acquired by My Indy Dental. Will not be the same without Dr. Widdicombe. I hope Belinda stays. Received a personal note from Dr. Widdicombe after the visit. He thanked me for years of loyalty and advised all his staff left the practice. My appointment was billed to 3rd party insurance from E. 10th St address and processed as out of network. Talked to billing and it is supposed to be resubmitted but as of this date 10-26-22 EOB is unavailable on UHC Medicare Advantage website. 11-15-22 They were late getting me into a room. Between numbing and starting the filling was so long Dr. Yang had to ask if I was still numb and test the local. I think an intern actually did the filling she was very nice but took forever. Dr. Yang did come back in to check the work and he made adjustments. I hope filling was done correctly. My appointment time was at 3:30 I got out of chair at 5:30. I continue to have billing and claim issues between My Indy Dental Center and UHC Medicare Advantage. UHC says billing location on 10th street still show OON (Out of Network). My Indy Dental Center says that's not true. I cannot get the 2 companies to talk to each other. I getting caught in the middle. My Indy Dental Center says they resubmitted 05-24-22 claim UHC Medicare Advantage says they don't have it. I am not paying that claim until I see it processed as IN NETWORK. What a BIG MESS! I may be finding new dentist. 05/04/23 This visit went very well. The new staff; receptionist, hygienist and technician were great and very friendly. I like Dr. Yang. He took time to explain what he saw in my x-rays and explained future plans. If they can get the billing part squared away I'd give a five star. 110923 - Good visit. Hygienist Teresa did good job and she was very personable. Dr. Yang is also good and personable. Shannon at front desk also very nice and very capable. The office seems to be turning around the negative feelings I had from earlier visits.

My Indy Dental on N. Delaware St really doesn't deserve 1 star, but I had to put the minimal in order to post. Horrible practice since Dr. Widdicome retired!!! I Really Miss Him and the Old Staff! They Were Class Acts!! The people in there now are very friendly, but there is definitely an issue with the folks on the front desk. They do not do their due diligence as they promise. I was informed at the last minute that my dental appointment was being cancelled. When they left the message, they were not clear on the cancellation. Therefore, I had to call them back and had to pull it out of them. They then told me that they had to reschedule me out 6 months for another appointment, because they were so booked-up. Now, does that make good customer sense to anyone else? First of all, I am a long-term patient at that practice. If my appointment was cancelled by them, then I should have been squeezed in somewhere at the same location and not shoved back to the end of the line. I already had to wait 3 months to get that appointment. Sadly, I know of another individual right now, who is awaiting dental treatment from this location for the 2nd time, because you did not get it right the first time. They have been waiting almost 2 months with the run arounds you keep giving them. You don't call them back. They have to call you! I am going to make sure that I consult with higher- ups, to make sure their dental treatment gets done in a timely manner and to make sure that it is done correctly this time. Good customer service, follow-through, follow-up and communication is key to success.

Once again I am very disappointed with the services with Indy Dental on the north side. 1. I was informed that after 30+ years my hygienist retired with no notice. 2. My appt changed from 12 noon to 11:30 without notice. Due to my work schedule I have limited flexibility with my time. 3. I had to wait 45 mins while on my lunch break bc they changed the time w/o notice 4. I was informed that I may have to pay out of pocket bc insurance don't like to pay less than 6 months out in which the office made the appt. at the time of my previous visit (in person) 6 months ago. Technology Services have not improved since my last appointment 6 months ago. Although, the office staff was nice and tried to do everything they could to mend the situation. However it was over an hour before I was seen for my exam.

I do miss Dr. Widdicombe but with all things, change is a part life. The receptionist is great, l love her. Very friendly and helpful. Here's my problem, first - I'm an IT person so if the computer froze while trying to take the panoramic view of my teeth-how did you pull up pictures of MY teeth? Who's x-rays were you using while working on me? 2) I appreciate the willingness to educate but how are you going to tell me that my medicine is the cause of my dru mouth, when my mouth isn't dry? Also, I'm a teacher, say what you mean - mean what you say. Choose your words carefully, try medicine "could" create or ask if they are experiencing.....it makes a difference.

I had my first appointment today with My Indy Dental Center, Delaware Street Office. What a lovely office. What wonderful office attendants and dental assistants. What a fine Dr. Yang. I was a patient at the IU Dental School for 30 years and have been a patient of another neighborhood dentist for five years before making this switch. Dr. Yang gave me the most thorough exam I have had in this latter period and explained everything along the way. He also has an engaging chairside-manner.

It's always an experience when changing something that's been in place for years.With that being said, the new ppl that took over my old Dentist office were pleasant and greeted me well. My only issue was the time frame that it took to complete my visit. Hopefully as they get settled in, they'll be more efficient with their time.

It's hard to leave a place you have been going to for years. I did return for the second time. Even though I thought about leaving. It has nothing to do with the staff. Dr Yang, Tracy, and the receptionist Shannon were all great. I have another appointment next week and hopefully the bill won't give me stage fright, again

I arrived at 10:30am on Monday, March 6. It was easy to remember because I received at least 10 reminders. Checked in. By 10:50, nobody had come for me. The receptionist was present the whole time and never mentioned a problem. At 10:50 I told her I was leaving. Is Dr Yang a good dentist? I'll never know.

These people took over the Widdecombe Dentistry practice..and are very good! Friendly, personally care and took great care of my 91 yr old Mom so well. She had a broken upper bridge...could have soaked her for alot of $$, but, got it repaired..then adjusted for next to no $$. Very good first impressions!!

The hygienist, assistant and dentist all did great work. Two stars for their scheduling system threatening to cancel our appointments due to me not confirming their many, many texts. The front office worker simply stated that was how they did it. Very frustrating.
