I recently had an experience with your online ordering system that I would like to address. I placed an order for pickup but due to a technical glitch, it was prepared earlier than intended. When I discovered the issue, I called your store and spoke with a very polite employee who assured me the order would be reprocessed without any additional charges. However, when I arrived at your store, another employee, George, asked for payment again. Despite explaining the situation, he insisted on payment without verifying the details in your system. I appreciate George's courteous demeanor, but his lack of understanding concerning the system error was disappointing. Furthermore, while I was in my army uniform, I chose not to dispute the matter on site out of respect for my role and your company's reputation. Afterwards, I contacted your manager( Jodie) over the phone to discuss the matter, but the conversation was unsatisfactory. Instead of offering a resolution, she seemed to ignore my concerns and blamed me for the system error. Such an approach did not reflect professional customer service, and her insistence that I had placed the order at the wrong time was incorrect. * She stated my food was chosen for health purposes. However, if it spoils within a few hours, it questions the quality. If better service isn't provided, I expect the food I ordered. I wasn’t asking for any free items, I only seek the service that I have already paid for. I hope this feedback will be useful for improving your services in the future

Ordered medium well steak for me and my grandmother. My grandmother's steak came out perfect and delicious. My steak however was COMPLETELY overcooked. I asked to get it cooked exactly like my grandmother's and the server (Maricela) asks if I wanted it medium rare. Medium rare is completely fine too but I just asked the doneness to be just like how I ordered originally. When the new steak comes in it's not even medium well, medium rare, or rare. It came RAW completely translucent in the middle. I understand mistakes can happen but how do you go from medium well to RAW. We decided to not request a change again because in this case we can just cook it more at home, however we rightfully asked for the manager to ask the reason as to why the steak came raw. A new server instead came and argued with us saying that the steak was medium rare when it was COMPLETELY TRANSLUCENT in the middle. She then talked over us and said she will give us a new steak and said in a loud voice "Medium well or Medium Rare" repeatedly in the diner. We were fine with just taking the steak home and cooking it further but she decided to completely ignore us or answer any of our questions. We ultimately just asked them not to make a steak at all and just paid and left. We have come here multiple times but after this experience, never again.

Wow…..this is my 3rd visit to Norm’s, 1st at this location. I knew what breakfast I wanted to order. I was underwhelmed with everything, from service to food. I was so excited expecting the same quality of food and service as I had at the Costa Mesa, CA location, I brought my daughter along to try it for the first time. I learned these qualities are not consistent across Norm’s brand. Our server lady asked for our order a minute after handing the menus to us. She wasn’t attentive and never looked at us when she spoke, and walks away before we have the opportunity to ask her questions on the menu. I placed my order and she tells us that the breakfast plate does not come with the 3 different sides notated and pictured on the menu, but with only 1 type of side (bacon) x 3. I showed her a photo of the plate I was talking about and she said “those photos are photoshopped for social media. That’s not what the meal looks like.” When I told her that i shot the photo myself at the other location she proceeded to say it was a change they made to the menu, all of Norms restaurants are different, she said. That’s ok, we are hungry, we are patient and we are understanding. The quality of the food; potatoes were raw inside. Bacon was too bunt. Scrambled seemed to be 1 and not 2.

Just Go to Chick-fil-A, I paid 20 dollars for this. Maybe the breakfast is what you should get here, but to give me this big container and literally a Small from McDonald’s is completely unacceptable..Yea the chicken is okay. But how are you better than Popeyes or Chick-fil-A? Especially with 12 soggy fries. Black Folks this is not for us. Go somewhere else plz. Completely would like to have my money back. I’m disappointed and can’t recommend this place. Rather go somewhere that actually gives decent portions for $20. I could of gotten a Pasta Bowl from Bossa Nova down the street instead of this …… So I called in to complaint because the fries are soggy as well smh. The manager wanted me to waste another hour of my day to bring the food back!!!! Are you serious, more gas more time I asked for my money back I’m not getting this food. I recently had the pleasure of visiting and was thoroughly impressed with their eggs and steak offerings. I ordered the steak and eggs dish and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender, juicy and flavorful, while the eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered them. The restaurant is open 24/7 and i was able to visit at any time and I was happy to find that the quality of the food and service was consistently high, no matter what time of day or night I visited. Always a treat, Norms has to be my favorite diner ever. The mid-century moderne architecture and decór are lovely, both outside and in. The menu is very extensive, allowing most everyone to find something to enjoy. I ordered the Potato & Leek soup to start... I love this soup, especially with a dash of Tapatillo Hot Sauce! I love the Caesar side salad... It helps me to feel good about my food choices. I ordered the White Fish grilled with rice pilaf and the chef's vegetables. I could not have been more happy with my meal... ¿Who could when they are having a meal with John Hollywood? I love the newer gender-neutral bathroom that the just created on the East side of the Dining Room area. After all, at Norms, you never know who you'll run into -24/7 ;-)

We see a lot of great reviews. But we don't agree. We tried them while in Los Angeles. High prices Paid $11 for just one regular sized waffle (which was just pancake batter and tasted like a pancake) nothing like a waffle. Had to pay extra for the sausage and for the eggs as well. We also ordered steak, shrimp and eggs. Which I normally don't do anywhere because breakfast places usually always have grizzle and not the best tasting. But we saw some good reviews so I tried it. Sadly the steak was very unfavorable, and surprisingly even the shrimp were unseasoned. The waiter was good. The parking lot is small but there are parking meters close if needed.

The service it's terrible I always come on the morning (weekdays) first the young lady on the front she is the cashier and who hostes she treats people with bad actitud she throw the menus on the table with out say anything and when is time to pay she gets the money making faces, second the order takes forever the kitchen counter has a lot a plates ready and nobody serves, third the waitress don't check if do you need something and serves the food with the check ready and she doesn't like when you decide to order something extra or ask for more coffe and they added extra 3% charge on menu surcharge to offset the increase cost of doing business in CA plus taxes and gratuity just because it's close home and I like the food it's clean but the staff makes me upset

We got out of a late night show and were looking for 24 hour food. We found Norms on Google maps and were fairly happy with our experience. I got the chicken strip and Belgian waffle. My friend got chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast. The service was attentive and quick. The food was tasty and ready quick. The only complaint we had was there was a piece of waxy plastic in my friend's egg (thats why i gave 4 stars). We informed the server and she resolved the issue in a manner that was satisfactory to us. Overall, we had a good experience and would return in the future.

I live two blocks from Norm's location in Torrance and I have been enjoying their food and reasonable prices for 30 years. My granddaughters love to visit me and they beg for Norm's. This time I picked them up and we drove to the location, for our first time, near where they live in Beverly Hills. The original iconic building was built in 1957. It was packed at 11:30 am on a Saturday. Parking was a challenge but we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. The Bigger Better Breakfast is still my ultimate favorite. They make the only pancakes I enjoy eating. There wasn't a drop of food left on any of our plates when we were done! The service was excellent. We'll be going back again soon.

Come early before 8AM as this place do get packed especially during weekends! There are the usual morning rush but the wait is bearable 10-15mins depends on how many in your party. Parking is also limited as people are taking their time and enjoying their breakfast. It was our first time visiting this Norms location and we liked it. Servers were really friendly and accommodating. I got the socal breakfast with hash brown and my husband got the turkey sandwich with fries and soup, they were both good and the prices affordable! I have been in this place more than a couple of times but no kidding, it is a challenge just to get in. No wonder, the food is outstanding and service is prompt. I had the feeling of a family atmosphere, could be because of my friend who is a regular costumer, and is in love with all the staff together with manager. The last time I visited this location was about 6 years ago. Since my last visit, not much has changed. The menu has only gotten bigger. The menu is overwhelming. You will be handed a menu that's 32 by 15 inches. I simply asked for 2 over medium eggs with a medium steak. My steak came out moewing all the way from the kitchen to the table. The hostess was pleasant and friendly. Overall, I was just desperate for some quick breakfast, so beggers can't be choosers.

I couldn't wait to visit Norm's when in L.A. and wasn't disappointed. We were seated super quickly and all the staff we encountered were so friendly. There were so many food choices and the prices were excellent. We both went for a breakfast combo which was great value and so tasty. The portions are enormous and kept up full up most of the day. Only negative were a couple of 'interesting character's roaming the parking lot which nobody seemed to do anything about. However, if you want a classic American diner experience for a great price look no further!

I had some pancakes sausage and scrambled eggs and a cotton candy lemonade. First off the waiter was checking on us and offering refills. Now the food was a 10/10, it was super tasty and delicious. And the place was really clean with lots of seats and booths

My friend and I were craving diner food, so we headed off to NORMS! We split the lumberjack special (something like that) - three eggs, three pieces of bacon, three sausages, hash browns, and hot cakes. (I took the hot cakes, oh yeah). Everything tasted great, and was prepared extremely fast. Restaurant itself was nicely maintained, every table had its own sanitizer, and all the weight staff were taking the necessary precautions. Our server was very nice and was the perfect amount of attentive.

Like Norm’s needs my review lol! One of my favorite places to go and eat comfort food. Great meatloaf. I got a sirloin steak on my last visit and it came with soup, salad, bake potato, and a vegetable, I splurged and got fried prawns added for just a couple of bucks. I love that there are wait staff that have been there for years and years, a sign of a restaurant that takes care of its employees. Big portions and low prices with friendly service. Did I mention that they are open late?

The service is always good. I usually go to the one closer to my home but decided on this location. I got the T-bone steak and eggs with mash potatoes. The potatoes were rotten. I mean, they stunk really bad. I had the waitress sniff it as well because I knew it wasn't just me. I just couldn't eat it. Idk if it was a bad batch, but it killed my appetite.

Norms has always been good. Good simple homestyle food. Went there for lunch today, hadn't been there since Covid started, and was Shocked by the prices! I know everything is expensive now. Had a crispy chicken sandwich, fries, and a soda: $17.00 plus a $4 tip = $22.00 for lunch. I enjoyed it But this is Too Expensive for me! Good luck.

Finally went to NORM'SSSSS! Well worth the trip! Check out my plate of @norms famous #meatloaf! It had #BACON on top!! The gravy was delicious! I'm always looking for meatloaf with BROWN #gravy instead of tomato My only issue was that it was made with turkey ground meat and had that awful aftertaste ground turkey has. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade! Also had a root beer float! Ahhh felt like a kid again! Yummy!

How do you tell a good diner? All the police love to go there? Check. This is a good place to exchange kids in difficult divorces. Lotsa police protection. Classic fifties design? Check. This place is an institution. Good prices? Check. Breakfast most of the day? Check. Friendly? Check. Altogether a great place but the food comes out a little slower than I’d have expected. Enough so to lose a star. Still, you must go to Norm’s.

Norms is back to our good graces. During the pandemic, they fell out. But this is the Norms we know and love. Just be careful of homeless people asking inside the lobby for money to buy food. They really want the money for other things, not food. Other than that, we had a great experience.

5yrs ago , I wrote a 5star review saying “Really like this place specially the soup, friendly service” Unfortunately today was again disappointed with my online order. Got home from picking it up and realize they gave me the wrong soups( I go to Norms for the Gumbo) I got some water down looking soup. And nothing for my bake potato that I had order and my New York was not well done, After this I won’t be going back there .

This is our breakfast spot for when you don't want to break the bank! Very delicious pancakes & waffles.! omelette breakfast is great

This place had a good retro vibe. The breakfast options are the usual offerings. Plenty of eggs, pancakes and waffles. I chose to try the steak and eggs. Although the pricing was very reasonable I did find my steak to be a little too chewy. On the other hand my pancakes were tasty. The service was friendly and the wait for a table wasn't too long although they were busy. It would be worth another visit.

This Norm's was okay. Nothing special. Nothing outstanding. I got a BLT, and the bread wasn't toasted. Server was quick to bring out food even though we asked for it to be served after our soup and salad. Had to remind server for my beverage. Probably won't return unless there isn't anything else open.

There was a mistake in my boyfriend's order, and after calling the manager said he'd send $25 off our next order. We never received anything but we thought we could try again, and it was all a lie. The service was excellent, our waitress was Rosie. It's a pretty old looking diner and not very clean. The tables were dirty and some of the dishes were still dirty.

Keep in mind this review is for breakfast/brunch, not dinner. Service is quick, friendly and generous with coffee. Food portions are large and, generally, fairly greasy. This is not the best place to come with a big group on a Saturday or Sunday brunch unless you are ok waiting 45+ minutes, but there's usually no wait for a party of 2. This is comparable to an IHOP or Denny's.

The staff at this location are constantly working hard to keep everything running smoothly no matter what the time is. In my experience they are consistently polite, accommodating and fastidious.

One of the best places great food not expensive and the service is really good. All the reasons to go out for food without being afraid to spend too much. My husband and I had breakfast at Norms a few mornings ago. I had Strawberry pancakes. The strawberries were not appetizing... they were originally frozen and did not look good.

The wait was about 15 min not bad for a Sunday morning. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious, my waiter was prompt, kind and courteous. And the restaurant and bathroom was nice & clean. Super busy tho but excellent service

We LOVE NORMS! The service we received from the minute we arrived was that of a superstar! Lucy delivered amazing service and outstanding food! Everything was cooked to perfection and priced to please, even! If we could give more than five stars, we’d give the max!!! Thank you and know we will be back!

Love the pancakes♡ Old fashioned cooking :) services was great ;*) the only thing was that it needs to be updated with new tables and seating:( the bench was moving when the person next to us was Slouching down I thought I was gonna fall of the seat :( needs to be cleaner specifically for the area!

Such a great place! Service was excellent, food was delicious and the atmosphere was nostalgia extraordinary!!; Highly recommend.

i visited resturant when i saw their add and they were giving special discounts in that days. i ordered my food and 20 mins i received food with wonderful garnishing and decent cutlery and charming smile on waiters faces. food was fresh and yummy inshort it was worth of spending money here.

Ordered the half pound burger and I got two thin, very thin patties. Huge bun, all bread. I have eaten at norms my entire life and this is not what I remember. The fries were scant and cold. The server was nice, the onion rings were good

Pretty darn good !! A great menu with a very vintage feel. I love all of the original booths and stools. It looks just as nice as the day they opened.

Food was absolutely amazing! Great prices, large portions. Definitely didn’t know what to expect when I ordered my food, but was certainly blown back when it arrived. Definitely will recommend giving this place a shot! Left there feeling stuffed without breaking the bank.

1/12/23: I had the tbone steak and eggs which were fine, just like you'd get at Denny's but what I really enjoyed here was the building itself. It's stuck perfectly in time in the late 1950s when it was built, in the Googie style of architecture which I find just so fun.

I love Norms. The attendants are very attentive. Tasty dishes with generous portions. Prices are great. Always with good deals. Typical decor of a classic American diner. It has free parking for customers. It is open 24 hours. Great option on WeHo for a meal.

I’m not surprised that this place can have lines of people going out the door. I hadn’t Thanksgiving lunch here and it was mind blowing. Turkey, pumpkin pie, it was all there. Best value for money in West Hollywood and the service cannot be beaten.

Definitely the worst experience I’ve had in a long time ! We waited for 40 minutes to be noticed (I’m not joking ) , tried to order drinks and took a looong time to get our food , I wish we had left before we ordered … bad .. really bad.

Good food. Server was excellent. Gave 40% tip. Has initiative to refill our beverages. Clean and less crowded (at 1AM). Parking is so convenient. Very close to Beverly center in Hollywood. Rodeo drive is 2.3 miles only. Will come back.

It is a very popular restaurant. We had a short wait to be seated. The food was very tasty. Employees were kind and helpful. Parking lot can get full.

Best customer service throughout. The host and my waitress, Connie were awesome. Very attentive and sweet. In LA I was going to Denny’s until I found Norm’s. Now I will be a Norms regular. Thanks for the great customer service!

great breakfast staff was nice we were seated as soon as we arrived. got eggs, hash brown, sausage, bacon and pancakes. would ask them for jam for the pancakes but i used the syrup on the table. anyway nice place for breakfast!

This location is 100% better than the Santa Ana location. Find is better, service is better.

We ordered the Socal breakfast and Egg benny. The hot cakes are super fluffy and yummy. The harsh-browns are also very good. However, sausage is salty and egg benny is just okay.

Very busy place on Sundays but you get seated very fast. Lots of choices for breakfast and lunch.

The service here was amazing despite the crew being short staffed. Just don’t recommend this area after midnight in the weekends. That’s when the freaks come out.

Super cute diner. I stopped by randomly and decided to try. The food was decent, large portons, the service is quick too. I would come again, great for families.
