Stumbled across this unassuming entrance in a a small side street that had nothing to offer otherwise. But what a find! Great atmosphere and imaginative cocktails until 2a.m. Read the title-giving short story by Zoshchenko ((Zoščenko/Зощенко) while enjoying my “Goodmorning Negroni” in pleasantly relaxed surroundings. Inviting ambience with small groups of friends discussing everything from politics to the books they were surrounded by while sampling the inventive offer of cocktails. Welcoming staff, happy to make suggestions to me, cocktail-neophyte. Despite the wee hours of the morning and the ominously named piazza degli zingari nearby (political correctness will eventually rename the piazza even in Rome, in a few years, maybe…). In the end I even got to take my companion for that evening (the Zoshchenko) home, as all the books are for sale for used-books prices. Can only highly recommend!

Un gioiellino nel cuore di Monti. Adatto per serate un po’ raccolte davanti a un cocktail con pochi amici o amanti si potrebbe pensare che sia più adatto all’inverno dato che è interrato e non ha tavolini all’esterno. Il personale ci ha accolto con estrema gentilezza e attenzione e ci ha dato un posticino in fondo al locale. Si vede che è un locale a cui il proprietario tiene e vuole garantire una bella esperienza ai suoi clienti. Il servizio è stato ottimo e anche il cocktail che vedete in foto (il Mai Thai se non erro) è davvero fatto bene. Devo aggiungere che c’è un tipico odore di cantina ma anche quello fa ambient. Nel complesso tra arredamento vintage, giochi di luce e qualità dei cocktail è un locale che consiglio e ci tornerò sicuramente.

Ieri sera abbiamo festeggiato i 30 anni (15 persone circa) del mio ragazzo in questo locale, oltre ad averci riservato uno spazio tutto per noi, la serata è stata speciale. Il personale molto gentile, il locale stupendo e pulito. I colori dell’arredamento, curato nel dettaglio, scaldano l’atmosfera a tal punto da sentirsi quasi in un salone di una casa vintage. i cocktail buonissimi.Daniele, il titolare, è gentilissimo, super disponibile e professionale. Una volta pagato il conto, ci ha anche offerto diversi giri di shot. Un ringraziamento speciale, per aver reso questa serata indimenticabile.

Exceptional drinks and friendly service in this cool cocktail bar in Monti, a trendy and fun area of Rome. We had the Clover Club, Negroni and a Tropical Whiskey Sour. All the cocktails were great and had a unique twist on the traditional recipe. We we there early (8pm) but it's open late (3am/4am) and was starting to get busy as we left. The space itself is awesome, speakeasy vibes. Well worth stopping in for a visit. The Clover Club was our favorite cocktail, had a large rim of raspberry dust (see photo) and tasted devine. Solid tunes!

Posto con del potenziale, ma decisamente NO! Quando entri ti avvolge un pungente odore di muffa e l'umidità ti entra nelle ossa. Luogo veramente angusto. Inoltre, la consumazione è obbligatoria per tutti, con cocktail minimo a 10€ (siamo andati in 7 amici, 5 persone hanno ordinato, 2 non volevano niente e ci volevano obbligare a prendere una bottiglia d'acqua PICCOLA a 2€ - vi assicuro che la consumazione nei locali non è obbligatoria, mai successa una cosa del genere). Non penso di tornarci in futuro, né di consigliarlo a qualcuno.

Probably our FAVORITE place in Rome! The atmosphere is beautiful and eclectic. The cocktails are hands down some of the best we've ever had. There is careful attention to detail with housemade ingredients. You must visit Naïs multiple times while in Roma!!! To our friends Daniel & Marco, remember... Ambiance feutrée agréable, bonne musique et déco chaleureuse. Très bons cocktails et de belles découvertes ! Notamment le New York saour qui était délicieux. C’est un peu dommage de ne pas recevoir quelques cacahuètes ou autres grignotages avec nos verres (qui sont quand même entre 10 et 16€ par cocktail). Les barmans sont très sympa et conseillent bien. Nous reviendrons pour d’autres découvertes !

Amazing cocktail bar, great and relaxing atmosphere and music (blues), the bartender was very nice and the cocktails were excellent, we love the daiquiri and Whiskey Sour a lot! The daiquiri is one of the best I had tried. The price is reasonable too. (Especially for what you got). We had a very lovely night there and will definitely come back when we are back to Rome.

Great bar!! Proper cocktails, done the good, old fashioned way. My husband and I spent a week in Rome and our only regret was that we didn’t stumble upon Nais Cocktails sooner. The owner Daniel and his right hand man Marco are true masters of their craft and genuinely wonderful people. They made our last few nights in Rome even more special. Highly recommend!

I don‘t know why the rating is so high, we came there expecting a warm and cozy ambience, however there was a very funky smell in the air (mold? can‘t say for sure but definitely sth weird.) and half the place was closed off. we did not consume any drinks or cocktails so I can’t comment on that. the staff seemed friendly.

I love this bar! It has amazing and unique drinks without being pretentious. The owner and staff are all super friendly and attentive. I went while traveling solo for the first time and they made me feel very safe and made sure I was having fun. I’m recommending this place to anyone who comes to Rome!

Great cocktails in a stylish location. The whiskey sour was great and the price was more than fair. 10€ for a quality cocktail in a city like Rome, what else can you expect. Owners have been really friendly. We visited several bars in the area. This one was by far the best!

Il locale si trova in una via tranquilla di monti appena sopra la movida, clientela selezionata, arredato con cura in stile vintage che crea una atmosfera speakeasy, i cocktail sono ricercati e ben fatti, musica piacevole di sottofondo. Da provare e ritornare.

The vibe in the bar is really cute. It feels like a living room with dimmed lights, good music and a lot of books. The staff was really friendly and we even got free crisps with our drinks, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side but would go again :)

Was looking for somewhere to sit down and came across this cute bar that was basically empty at 8pm. Very nice bartender and yummy, cute drinks! Gave us delicious little snacks as well. Very nice atmosphere and decor.

My family and I were on the hunt for a cocktail bar after dinner. We thankfully found this beautiful and cozy bar. The ambiance, service and drinks were fantastic! We highly recommended and look forward to visiting again next time we’re in Rome.

Coming from NYC we rarely have cocktails that surpass our expectations whenever we travel, however Nais absolutely blew us away by every metric. From the ambiance to the quality of the drinks, if you love cocktails you have to check out Nais.

Super coktails ! Auch wenn die Coktails auf der Karte eher unkoventionell sind , sind sie doch super lecker , meine Empfehlung : New York Sour. Super freundliches Personal uriges chilliges Ambiente , ein Muss wenn man in Rom ist.

Super bar mixology avec cocktails très originaux. Compter une 15ene d'euros par cocktail mais ils sont tous très bien travaillés. Bref une belle découverte
