Naguru Mosque is a communal mosque, with a school. It serves the Muslims in the Naguru I and II Parish in Nakawa Division. It is said to be founded around the late 1979 by the Nubians who predominantly inhabited the areas around Kasenke, Binyoyi and Naguru. The Friday sermons are said in Arabic with swahili translations and at times Luganda. The mosque is under the chairmanship of Abdallah Godo also known as Jajja Voice a resident of Naguru Go Down, and an ardent listener and contributor to the voice of Africa Radio programmes.
