Lovely place. The staff are helpful and considerate straight from the security guy, receptionist and others. It's a clean place. They have comfortable beds and you will not feel like your privacy is being encroached as they don't bother you unnecessarily. It's just a stone throw away from the CBD. It's definitely a place I would stay for a third time. Disclaimer: Room service comes at a cost of Ksh 500 for orders below Ksh 1000 but it doesn't hurt to use the elevator to get the little orders you need.

The hotel is strategically located within Nairobi but not quite in the city. It is about a minute drive from the CBD as you approach parklands. It has great views of the city. The rooms are clean and the staff as very friendly. There is a bar and restaurant if you want to unwind within the hotel but you get very many other options around Westlands area which is 5 minutes from the hotel. I completely fell in love with the Nairobi transit hotel.

Transit Hotel is located along Limuru road. Very secure and convenient location from the city. The hotel rates are very pocket friendly. The hotel is easily accessible. It is by the road. Facilities and services are great and excellent! Worth every penny. Transit Hotel is also very near to the Nairobi museum, aboretum and karura forest. It is ideal for people who enjoy nature walk and suchlike things since they are just a few Kms away.

It is not a wonderful hotel, however for the rates (3,000 single room and 4,000 double room) the rooms are clean and well equipped. The only problem is the really noisy road for the front-rooms, the widows are really not sound proof! In the evening the noise is really loud even if the curtains are closed. But except that it is good. The food at the restaurant is also not bad for a fair price.

The hotel is really nice for anyone who is traveling for business around Nairobi CBD. It has an access lift to all floors. Rooms are very spacious, well-lit with large windows that let in lots of natural light, sparkling clean and neatly arranged, fitted with a TV set. The staff at the reception was very friendly and always ready to help. Wi-Fi connection is available.

I loved my stay at the hotel. The prices are very affordable and the rooms are quite clean. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and the hotel is very quite despite the neighborhood. They have elevators to access the higher floor in the hotel. They also organize transport from the airport at an additional fee. Keep up the good work

I loved the fact that you are in Nairobi but not really in Nairobi. The hotel is about a minute or two from the busy Nairobi town center. The place is very quiet during the nights and the rooms are very clean. I loved the service and the prices at the hotel and I would recommend anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Nairobi.

Was good but now no good service... like there's no mosquito nets in some rooms or too small to cover the whole bed. Some door locks are broken or not working, some toilets without cover or parts missing, some walls are with very old doted paints. Some power sockets and/or switches are hanging or not in it's original place.

A pocket friendly hotel, with the necessary amenities and the location is in close proximity to the Nairobi central business district. I would recommend it for business travelers or backpackers who would like to be able to access the Nairobi Central business District in the course of their travels.

Great service, friendly staff, clean facility, good restaurant. I stay here whenever I am in Nairobi. The owner is constantly improving things. Underground parking accessed through rear security gate. Lift access to all 5 floors plus parking garage. Close to the CBD

I can't recommend someone to these hotel,was charged extra one thousand just because i came with my wife,who was traveling to countryside the following day to attend to a close relative burial at Murang'a ,did want to cause drama,but I paid.

Service with a smile at the reception, very clean rooms , warm showers for those who like them, free WIFI, online booking available and easy very decent breakfast, all for around $60 per night. What's to complain about?

They have towels that are worn out and in a deplorable washed out green colour. The fabric is also cheap and rough to touch. I had to use a tiny scarf I had to dry up because I did not trust the towel.

I liked the hotel. Very nice hotel rooms and the rooftop is great for small parties like we did. My second experience at the hotel was even better. I enjoyed my time and the rooms were just perfect.

Good rooms but the shower was warm not hot no matter how you regulate. They didn't confirm payment so they kept calling upto 2 days after leaving.
