Nana Nani Park in South Mumbai (Bombay) is located near the Girgaum chowpatty. It is under a public charity trust. This park has been designed exclusively for senior citizens. It was inaugurated on January 26, 1998. Various activities including yoga class, meditation and laughing sessions are the major attractions for senior citizens who are members of this park. Improving quality of life of senior citizens is the main aim of this foundation. Medical checkups on regular basis are another important activity in this park. People who come here get tea every morning along with newspapers. Group discussions on various subjects are arranged for them. Moreover cultural programmes oraganized by artists in Maharashtra are also screened in this park. The financial source for this foundation is mainly by donation from various good samaritans across the world. It is a different and envigorating experience for senior citizens, who visit this park.

Good park..... Girgaum Chowpatty is a small sandy beach and a good place to chill, at the north end of Marine Drive, a must-go place for tourists visiting Marine Drive for the first time. Conveniently located next to Charni Road railway station, the beach is very crowded during evening hours and weekends and hosts street food stalls serving local delicacies. There are cafes/dine-in options available across the road as well.....

Very bad experience, I went with my mother (4th stage cancer) and father (62 ), I was very rudely asked "why are you inside if you are not a sr. citizen?", I could have been nicely informed and I would have left the park, Having rules are fine but being rude for such a silly mistake and that too visiting with my mother and father who are seniors, it ruined our evening.

Don't know a lot about this place as only (nana and nani )grandmother / grandfather i.e senior citizens are allowed. But then it's good as only they get that space which is like their own den far from the sound and all the Chaos of the city. It's very beautiful full of greenary. Also its a good place to mingle with other people of your age if you are lonely or so.

Good park for all age people.. a greater view with a big jogging track . A children's play area is also there... There is another park infront of this . That is good for elderly people... I would recommend this park if you are searching for a park which is less crowded and green.

A park for Senior Citizens and was founded by nine other than one time legend Nana Chudasama. It’s a blessings to Late Nana for giving this park to Senior Citizens who really today enjoy the day in the park facing the Chowpatty Sea face.

This only for old age people not for younger one rememmber that The two person's chair system is best for old love birds Younger's have also a good place to sit with there friend's and buddys out side of the park …

I love the idea about a garden near by beach .....every natural elements to feel from.sun, moon, water and trees .....garden is well maintained and clean and yes i must say world is healing because of lockdown.

my nanu nani don’t go here but I do. Green, Serene. I go for early morning brisk walks with my dog Drogba. I sit on the bench and do 10 min meditation. Peaceful. must visit heritage site of bombay

Tiny park adjacent to Girgaon Chowpatty, flanked by a busy road on one side and the beach on the other. Good view for sunrise and sunset though

It's a good place and I recommend visiting it, but it is located between Chowpatty beach and a busy road, so there is some noise.
