"An absolutely amazing experience"
"An absolutely beautiful and the largest display of Norwegian paintings and sculptures"
"I really enjoyed my visit"
"The pros : beautiful building hosting an eclectic art collection, including but not limited to a wide selection of Munch paintings"
"Great museum! 3 floors full of kind of art I spent there 3 hours and it was like 1 because there are so many artists and styles, that time flies"
An absolutely amazing experience. There is so much to look at over 3 floors with an extensive collection over such a large space. Tickets are good value and there is a cafe and lounge on site too. You can spend a good 2-3 hours taking all the sites in here. I would recommend visiting if you are in Oslo. Mer
An absolutely beautiful and the largest display of Norwegian paintings and sculptures. The National Museum is home to Edvard Munch's "The Scream". The rooms are categorized and grouped nicely together. The National Museum is a must visit if you are traveling to the Oslo, Norway area.
I really enjoyed my visit. Excellent art exhibits, especially the exhibits from the three female artists. That was my favorite part of the museum and it was art that was so refreshing and new to me. I wish there was a museum of only their work that I could visit. Mer
The pros : beautiful building hosting an eclectic art collection, including but not limited to a wide selection of Munch paintings. The cons : no discount offered to senior citizens, some of the bathrooms were undersized for the number of visitors. Mer

I love to go into museums if the weather isn’t as good as it could be. You will see a lot of art from different epochs and cultures. Really nice. There is a nice coffee bar in the 2nd floor with a huge window to look over the harbour of Oslo. Mer
You can have a great experience here with having access to interesting collections. I went there to see specifically The Scream by Edvard Munch but there is a great collection of the same painter. Make sure to take your time at recreation … Mer
Top-notch. Absolutely one of the VERY BEST museums I have ever had the opportunity to visit. The collection and the exhibition installations are phenomenal. Also, female representation in the collection is superb. And one final note, the … Mer

Fabulous new museum! The exhibits are stunning and the museum shop well stocked with high quality arts and crafts. The only drawback is how well they've managed to hide it, despite the massive size, and also that it's easy to get lost in.
You simply must visit this place! Incredible art and exhibits, all tastefully and impeccably presented! It's worth every second - and I would give yourself at least two hours to walk the many wings and rooms! Mer
I just love the new building and the smartly created and beautifully designed exhibitions!! I am a museum curator of fashion, so for me, it was pure joy to see the amazing fashion exhibition!!! Mer

The National Museum of Norway in Oslo is so much more than the fantastic version of Munch's The Scream. Set aside a whole day so you have time to experience all they have to offer. Mer
Great museum with a great selection of art from famous painters. Of course it's a must visit as this is the place where the original Edvard Munch Skrik is showcased. Mer
Undeniably one of the best museums I have ever visited. It shows the evolution of Norway from different angles, in an immersive and aesthetically Nordic spirit. Mer
This is thr national and a "must see" museum if you are in Oslo city center. But there are many better museums you can see for free by using the Oslo pass. Mer
Congratulations. The Nationalmuseum has become a diamond of art collection. To mix the old art with new art, is genius. There is something for everyone. … Mer
