Bank is terrible had to close a joint account but this teller did not now how to close it. Also she could not verify it’s me because it’s a 20 year old account and only had a sim number and no profile picture. But then again I gave her my passport and driver license and she still can’t verify it’s me and she told me she needs call Montreal to verify it’s me. Then calls me Monday and said I can’t close this account as they can’t verify it’s me, as well. Stupid bank can’t verify it’s me with a valid passport and driver’s license I said I don’t have time for this and if I have to sue this bank I well. Had to go to the Richmond bank to close account. The person there new what to do and verified it’s me with all the ID I gave him. Do not waste time with this bank it’s a real nightmare and they start taking $50 from my bank account for not using account for a few months. This bank should go out of business as it’s very crooked.

I have been a client since last November, and my advisor (Louis) immediately helped me to find the best possibilities I could have with my student visa. Louis is a good listener, knows perfectly all the services and products offered and is especially reactive in case of misunderstanding. He is always on the lookout and will do his best to answer all your questions in the best possible conditions and time. The person in charge of this branch (Karen) is available and will not hesitate to call you in case of requests beyond the power of the advisor in question. The team communicates well, I am very satisfied with their services and the mutual trust between us. Thank you for your excellent work on a daily basis!

I had decided to close my National Bank account and move on to another institution as I thought it was not a good fit for my requirements. But around 2 months ago your colleague, Farnaz Boroumandi, called me and convinced me to stay with National Bank. Now I have a few other National Bank services in my account. She contacted me shortly after my initial financial advisor inquiry and we had a good discussion about my needs. This was followed up and provided advice relating to my situation. A very good outcome, at a time when I really need good financial advice.

A big shout out to the entire team at Vancouver branch ,especially Rebecca Lee who helped me very patiently with my umpteen number of queries prior to the account opening.Being myself into banking, I had numerous questions, mostly the nitty gritty about the charges, balance requirement, interest rates, services offered etc and she handled all of them quite professionally. On my short branch visit she handled everything exceptionally well and efficiently. So far happy for my association with the bank and hoping it to be a long one!

Since our first meeting till now, I only sent him three emails asking about the updates, he never got back to me ever. And have called the general line to this Vancouver branch as well, no return phone call either. Very much disrespectful to the customer! How do I know about my finance situation? Your advise is needed!

SECOND REVIEW I needed to get a bank draft, payment on my Master card and withdraw a couple thousand dollars for my trip back to Ottawa. They had it done in ten minutes. In Gatineau or Ottawa they would have questioned me through and through and it would have taken 3 times as long to get this done. Great job Vancouver! Thomas

The bank is not reliable at all. The customer service quality is not consistent. One day is good the other day is bad. Also funny is they don't resolve issues or sometime they answar my question incorrectly. On top of that they get all your financial information wrong. Like sometimes the app will give you incorrect balance.

It was a Great experience for me where Hylton from National bank Vancouver helped me open my new account. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and adding to it made my entire process online and get things completed without visiting the closest branch. Google has the wrong hours posted, the tellers open until 4pm. Although arriving after 4pm the friendly staff was able to think of a solution to my request. Overall very helpful, just wish their hours were open later.
