I bought a Pad ke Mao, chilli basil fried rice, green curry (all big container portions) 4 curry puffs, 4 spring rolls, 2 roti breads and they gave me a free 1.25ltr pepsi and prawn crackers all for the $55. Unbelievably great value for money and now to the taste, ohhhh my word. Ingredients tasted so fresh, like really fresh, easily the best spring rolls I've ever had, the pad ke mao was a darker colour exactly how I like it and not undercooked, chilli basil fried rice was so clean and fresh tasting and not drenched with oil like other places seriously I can go on forever. They've won me over can't fault anything at all. Customer service is exceptional I picked it up as take away and the best part is it's Halal. Thank you Nawa 5 stars !!!

This place is always busy. You're better off getting takeaway, if you can. It's not a big restaurant and the seating fills up quickly. The lunch specials are great! You can get some dishes for $10 on a weekday. Their seafood is really impressive. The prawns and fish are always cooked perfectly. I haven't had an overcooked prawn from this place. The Pad Thai isn't great though. It's an Aussie favourite, but this version isn't great. It tastes like plain noodles and sweet and sour sauce. Get the prawn and cashew nut instead. Also, I love that you get free prawn crackers with your meal and I definitely recommend the satay chicken skewers. That peanut sauce is incredible.

Delivery drivers very rude and ask for tip.When tip isn't given they complain you are to slow to answer door ect to management,then management rudely cuts off delivery to you saying drivers complain you take to long to pick up.I live in an appartment building on top floors so it takes a couple of minutes for the elevator to go up and down and meet the driver.. The Ignorant management at Nawa did not care for my complaint or my situation and did not make any effort to resolve the situation..ps:medium quality food for emergency only when macas is closed is my opinion.

We love Nawa Thai. It is a small place but full of flavours and taste. Amazing Thai, my wife is a vegetarian and she loves the food and that is enough for me. ❤️ Btw, I love the food as well. I prefer chicken but there are ample other meat options. We loved the coconut water, that is a must have.

GINGER PRAWN (ENTREE) is a MUST! Prawn wrapped in a thick, very crispy and crunchy outer layer. Everything was tasty, reasonable prices, servings generous. Red Curry, Tofu/Veggies in Greenpeppercorn/ Oyster/ Coconut Milk Sauce, Roti. O noticed in the restaurant, they have been awarded 'Best Thai' by Menulog (or somewhere similar to Menulog.) Update: May 2021 The online only 'special' of main meals plus free 'Pad Thai' is in my opinion would need improvement with the taste and texture. Perhaps some more flavour and less gooey/ glumpy texture would be the way.

Nawa Thai is a cosy restaurant opposite the RSL. They are by far my favourite Thai Resturant in Merrylands. The food not only smells amazing but is absolutely delicious and fairly priced for the portion sizes. If you have a bigger appetite you can add extra meat for a very small amount. I am a weekly customer and can honestly say I have never had an order that I was disappointed by. I cannot recommend this resturant enough, thanks for the wonderful food guys! We ordered for vegetarian dishes of which one was mistakenly served non veg which could have been possible due to some reasons. Surprisingly, the guy in charge of the place was completely unapologetic about the situation and thought 10% discount could compensate for the situation. All we expected was a sincere apology considering we are vegetarians due to religious reasons. It was only because of good reviews and comments that I visited the place but due to customer service I don't see myself visiting again. Food was not great too !!!

Highly recommend this place for a relatively cheap, flavourful meal with great service and good portions. Ordered takeaway online. 4 dishes. Waited about 10 min which is incredibly quick. When picking up the food, the servers were really polite. They also gave us complimentary prawn crackers. The food was good portioned and was well seasoned. The order placing via their website (so that the delivery chains could not take 30+ % from them) was easy and fast. Delivery was advised in 50 minutes - it was actually delivered in just 20 minutes on a Saturday night - OUTSTANDING ! And the food - Pad Kee Mao with seafood was superb and Green curry with rice was SUPERB ! Definitely worth supporting, but do it direct on their website so that UberEats, MenuLog etc don’t pinch 30%+ from the restaurant.

Superb local eatery with great customer service. Highly recommend Roast Duck Plum, Tom Yum Fried Rice and Nawa Thai Special Fried Rice. The food came with an adequate portion and was really tasty. The restaurant is a bit small compared to its popularity, so expect a bit of a wait during the peak time.

Almost every week, my friends and I go to this amazing restaurant. It's homely with an extensive menu that makes it easy to choose something delicious! I've never had an issue here before, with food or service. They were even so kind to stay open one afternoon as i had left my phone there, to make sure I got it back. Incredible people and they have all sorts of delivery services that keep them busy! A true gem!

We ordered a fried rice and pad thai for takeout. Fried was okay but nothing special about it. Im sorry to say the pad thai was awful . It didn't look anything like what was on the picture on the menu . You can see the photo below. The pad thai noodles tasted like ketchup. The staff was really friendly though. But I won't go there again.

Lovely Thai spot with consistently good food. We order from here often and have never been let down. They throw in a free bag of prawn chips with every order, bonus! We love the Pad Kee Mao as it packs a punch with spice. Every dish has always been excellent.

I made an order over menulog, my God, I am surprised with the quality of the food and their service. The food was here in 20mins and I live at Granville. I ordered Massaman curry with rotti, it was so good. The presentation, the taste, quantity and price, everything is perfect. Thank you so much Nawa Thai, I had an amazing experience.

I have never written a review before but for this I have to! I ordered chicken peanut skewers tonight with Uber eats. The chicken skewers were raw! I took photos incase we get very unwell. Do not order from here, chicken is something that if anything should be over cooked rather than undercooked, salmonella can make you SO unwell.

The Ginger Sauce Duck Lunch Special served with a soft drink was well worth the $13 paid. I also had the small (but can be shared between 2 people) serve of Tom Kha for $6.90. The portions were really satisfying and the food tasted amazing. I will definitely return because of the baby-friendly environment and fantastic service.

Always happy with this place ! Was our traditional weekly order but had to stop ourselves from buying weekly ! Amazing food everytime ! Quality of food is fresh and the flavours are phenomenal !

Must try. We ordered Tom yum and parang curry. It was very tasty and reasonably. Staff is super friends and smiling. They have BYO ($2/person) + have toilets and dining area is nice and warm (check out the pics). Easily approachable from Merrylands station. They accept NSW dine in coupons. We won’t mind going back.

Spent $110 in total for 3 people including my 9 years old son. Too much salty food. Portion size is very very small. All we tasted is salt. Trusted the review but real experience was the worst Thai food we ever had and definitely $110 food was not even worth for $50. More

I’ve ordered Nawa Thai many times on Ubereats, and each time they never disappoint! Food is always cooked and delivered within 20-30 mins as I live close by, and is reasonably priced with generous serving sizes. Would recommend for cheap and authentic Thai. Great service

I ordered their Chilli Prawn and there was only 3 pieces of prawn which they charge 25 bucks. It’s such a disappointment. The chilli basil fried rice didn’t have any basil flavour at all. Overall it was very disappointing

It's the best thai food I've had in Sydney. Full of flavour, sweetness, noodles are cooked to a perfect texture and they chose the best and most appropriate ingredients for each dish. No matter what you choose on the menu, you will not fail to be impressed.

1st impression. Very disappointing. Have been a customer at that restaurant for about 10 years. New owners will need to improve. Serving size was very small. Didn't fill 1/2 the takeaway container. Flavour not up to standard. Will not give them another go..
