We were at a meeting in downtown Indianapolis. When it wrapped up we had some time before we needed to head to the airport to fly home. I wanted to find a local coffee shop to get a fabulous coffee. My colleague was more interested in a quick drive by place. I insisted and found this place 8 mins away. I knew it would be a special spot when I looked it up online. We pulled up to this beautiful building outside and even more inside exposed brick great art and a welcoming atmosphere. The people that worked there were friendly and super helpful. I ordered the Cordato based on their recommendation and it was amazing as was the other coffee and dessert. We sat and enjoyed the place and the staff was super attentive. They delivered an excellent customer experience and a stop I will add to our next trip. You need to check this place out it’s a little gem.

Peaceful atmosphere with lots of sunlight. All types of seating, tables with chairs, lounge chairs, and couches. They have two floors and a patio for sunny days. I got the Nutella latte and coffee cake muffin. The muffin was fresh and very tasty. The Nutella latte was great strong and sweet with foam at the top. The staff were warm and welcoming. This is a great place to wake up some fresh coffee an sunlight and conversation with friends. It's also a great place to study and do homework. It's plenty of sections to sit if you are looking for privacy. I love the old brick walls. This even would be a great place to have a brunch or other events it is beautiful. This is definitely the new study spot.

Such a beautiful space with exposed brick, paintings and fully lighted coffee shop. The window panes are large and the leather sofa sets combined with the tables and stylish chairs giving a complete contemporary look. I ordered a 12oz Americano and a pecan sour cream coffee cake. The combo was divine, coffee so fresh in an aesthetically pleasing mug. The service was quick and super friendly. I for one did not face any issues with parking and I sat with my friends for a good 2 hours enjoying the country music which was very different in my opinion. I am yet to try their crepes but I can tell you the options are drool worthy! So on my list to visit again!

This coffee shop is amazing! I ordered an iced latte that was Nutella flavored. Delicious. We also ordered two of their crepes. One was a sweet Nutella one with strawberries and the other was a savory one, bbq pulled pork. Both were tremendous. I can’t wait to go back and try more kinds! The atmosphere is great whether you are studying, working, or catching up with a friend! Definitely recommend.

My wife and I got married at The Neidhammer in August of 2020. This nearly goes without saying, but that was a tough year for anyone to have a wedding. We were excited to celebrate with a relatively small group of family and close friends. The employees at the Neidhammer were always accommodating, listening to our ideas and doing everything possible to ensure that the wedding would be safe for us and our guests. Even with last minute cancellations, bringing our guest count to about 50% of the original RSVPs, they did everything possible to make sure that the wedding would still run smoothly and fit our budget. Looking back, we are still very thankful that we chose to have our wedding at The Neidhammer.

The owners were there and were extremely friendly! I told them I had missed the Yelp event the day prior, and they kindly gave me a tour around the place. I love the vibe of the place; the place is hip and well decorated. It's very cozy, and, the best part for me as a college student, there's an outlet at every table! Haha! No more searching for outlets or the awkward "excuse me?" As for food, they get their baked goods from a local place -- I can't remember where. All I can say is they looked scrumptious, but I sadly didn't grab a bite. I did get coffee -- just something simple: an iced Americano. It was smooth to the finish! I would love to go there again whenever I have more time in my mornings.

  • Savannah Martin

I've been here several times. As a college student, it's a great place to get coffee and study! Some of the tables have built in charging ports to charge your laptop/other devices which is awesome. The coffee and service is really good. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. I only had an issue one time when a barista forgot to make my drink, but it was handled immediately. They remade it and gave me a coupon for a free drink the next time I visited. :) I have never tried any of the crepes, but I have had a few pastries there and they were really good! I highly recommend to everyone, especially students looking for a good environment to study in!

If I lived nearby, this would be my coffee shop. This place is awesome! A simple menu, fast service, great food, excellent prices. What is there not to like I had the state street crepe, (yes auto-correct, crepe is a word) and it was wonderful. Not overstuffed, lightly wilted spinach, and seasoned well. As I was finishing it I was thinking a small side of salsa or pico would be really nice with it. If I order it again, I'd at least ask for that. Great mocha, and small selection of pastries and donuts, including a couple gluten free things. They are very close to.I-70, and it is a large space, definitely worth a trip off the highway if you are passing thru.

We’ve been coming here for several years now and despite a challenging pandemic, their hospitality, creamy froth, and kind smiles have never changed. Their espresso and lattes are deliciously thick and creamy. They often have seasonal lattes that you’d wish were available year-round. Their menu also includes sweet or savory crepes, which are made on-demand. Free parking is available out back in a small lot or street side.

Visiting Neidhammer us alwats a warm and inviting experience. What Joel and Kristy amd their team have created here is special. Taking an old historic building, breathing life back into it and contributing to the revitalization of this neighborhood makes them part of something that will be transformative. The coffee and food options are solid. Drinks and baristas are on point. If you dig craft coffee, the coffee here is legit. Also, they share a space with Ash & Elm Cider Company!! Seruously cool. Co-working space on level two and an event center on level three. Def put this place on your must-visit list!

  • Kylie Lockett

Greet place in the near Eastside area. They have a variety of things including coffee, tea, and crepes. It’s an awesome place to meet people. They have a coworking space that I haven’t checked out before but I think it would be a great location for anyone who lives and works downtown. The only critique I have is that the table tops are rough concrete and for a place to work, you can’t use a mouse or write on something unless you have something underneath. Not a deal breaker of course but I would have recommended them them to be a smooth surface top just because of the nature of the place.

  • Oscar Rodriguez

I love coming to the Neidhammer. The staff are friendly, the coffee is great, and the aesthetic is very pleasing. Most importantly I love the energy this place has. I work from home and sometimes need to get out of the house to be more productive and this is my favorite spot to come to. The staff know me on a first name basis and they keep me coming back because it feels like a very welcoming environment. Planning on having some consulting sessions for my other gigs here and introduce more people to this great place. Ps. You gotta try to Vanilla Lavender Latte

  • Noel Scott

I have been trying all the coffee shops in and around Indy. Neidhammer has a small cute charm. I love crepes so I was excited to try this place. Their crepes were just ok I had the State Street Crepe-pretty basic and the St. Clair Crepe. The hard shell in the brie can be off putting to a lot of people but wasn't my biggest issue the flavor combination needs more improvement it isn't quite there. I had a spice latte and I would say the same thing, whatever spices or add ins they used didn't 100% meld in my opinion. Was not bad and I would return but wasn't great.

Biggest fun in the Neidhammer! As a DJ, you never know what to expect at a new venue but at Neidhammer, expect nothing less than the best! The wedding was handled to perfection. The team's communication with each other and me was top tier. I was given the opportunity to learn about the facility a week before the event which always helps. Everything is conveniently located and classically beautiful. Alexi, Angie, John, bartenders, servers, everyone there made this a fun day! I highly recommend Neidhammer Coffee Co. for your event!

  • j g

Tea was great today. Coffee was nice last week. They have a shaded back patio that is private from street. Beautiful 120 years old restored building. Lots of room inside. One of the largest coffee shops in the city. Only negative is they close at 4 pm. Crepe are made here are tasty.

I stopped by Neidhammer Coffee Company to get a latte. I opted for the white chocolate and cinnamon combo, and it did not disappoint. The build is beautiful with exposed brick. There is plenty of seating. Parking is limited. There is also a space next door to host weddings/events. I will definitely return.

The building and staff are 5/5. We had an opportunity to tour the space and speak to the staff while trying to plan our wedding ceremony. Everyone was incredibly nice and the building is beautiful. The communication by the event planning staff is 0/5. After touring and discussing dates and pricing we we're excited to plan our function here but no one ever responded to our multiple emails and phone calls. Overall a very disappointing experience trying to plan our special day with them.

  • Alex Gale

When you are greeted with a simple smile, in a calming aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, you can’t help but fully immersing yourself into the space of serendipity. I received a iced dirty chai , with fresh silky foam paired with the soft warm Saint Clair Crepe that was cooked and served on demand! They have it all to experience on the day after Christmas! Thank you For offering a shared space for a traveler to come in and immediately fill welcomed!

  • Felicia Dale

The Neidhammer as an amazing crew. As a wedding coordinator have seen several venue teams and I can tell you - this one is my favorite! The level of communication was world class. Communication is the #1 element in executing a successful event They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure the bride had the best day and that I had what I needed behind scenes to keep everything running smooth. Beth and her team were a dream :) !

  • Alex Carter

Excellent ambiance and crepes! There are plenty of coffee tables with electric plugs built into the tabletop, so it's easy to charge your electronics while you work. Wonderful service, good playlist, good parking options - will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic space and an easy to spot location. I've enjoyed the Chai lattes and coffee lattes here. The team is friendly and helpful and the bathrooms are clean and single stall, which is always awesome. Parking is decent. A small lot with a two hour limit but also plenty of nearby street parking and another unpaved lot nearby. Definitely a go-to for me when I'm on the east side of town or downtown.

  • Stache 7h

This place is laid back and very inviting. The coffee was very good. It was nice to see a newer coffee house sever dark as well as light roasted coffee. The lady working the counter was very attentive and knew what she was talking about. The crepes we're good simple food. Not farm to table, yet taste and we'll done. Yes, I would go back. I would love to see the whole building.

  • Katie Rojas

Crapes are made fresh in house and are so delicious! I've been twice and both times the lattes were excellent, and the staff were all very friendly. I know they recently underwent a change in ownership, and one thing that was added was a cute little kids play area! There is a little table, a play, kitchen, and a few books and toys. My almost 2 year old had a blast.

Loved this place! Very modern industrial. I love going into old factory style building, maintain the history of the building that helped build America and see how it can be converted into a place you want to work on your computer with a delicious cup of coffee. I got the Nutella latte and the expresso. They were delicious. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!

  • Kennedy Ormsby

I love this place so much!! Whether I come in to read a book or meet a couple friends, it's always such a cool and comfortable atmosphere. Their drinks are delicious (I always try the seasonal lattes) and their crepes are a great snack! The staff is always very nice and remember who I am and what I do when I walk in the door. One of my favorite coffee shops in Indy for sure!

  • Penny Straub

I really enjoy the strawberry and Nutella crepes they have. They use a strawberry flavoring and no real strawberries but it is still really good! Good enough to be my new favorite crepe place!

I love coming here to work, socialize with friends or have meetings. Great atmosphere, very clean, awesome food...my favorite are the crepes! Almost every drink they have on the menu is good hot or iced! Bonus is that you won't have to search for outlets...they have them at every table!!!! The staff is super friendly and always welcoming!

Not only is does this place have awesome service but great.coffee and tea. The 3rd floor is for events which is really spacious and gives off the homie look. The 2nd floor is also used for events certain days only. Elli was a great help and assured me that I wouldn't have to worry much for my big Day. This place deserves 5 stars

Looking forward to visiting again soon.

New favorite coffee shop just 10 minutes from downtown. My Husband and I love this family run, locally own coffee shop. Its beautiful interior and gourmet drinks make the experience magical. Check them out for events, a good time with great company, or a relaxing place to get work done. We love it so much that we got married upstairs in the Neidhammer building!

  • Aaron S

I've only been once. But the atmosphere was awesome. The old building, the antique feel and the open space are really a breath of fresh air. Not to mention their pour over coffee as probably the best tasting pour over I've had in quite some time. It's a must if you're in Indy and on the near east side.

  • Quinn Lark

This is my favorite haunt! The staff is exceedingly friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Every table has a power outlet under it, which makes working while sipping a delicious coffee a breeze. I love everything, but I recommend the americano with steamed almond milk, or any of the smoothies.

  • Brian Seward (Raaine)

Great oasis of a coffee shop with an option for co-workspace or events. They offer a variety of pastries including some Paleo versions but I prefer the crust-less quiche. The coffee is solid, and they do some very interesting latte combinations with their famous 'donut milk' and 'cookie milk.'

  • christine b

The people who work here are so nice and accommodating. Since they are etermined to help you find something to fit your taste for the day, you will end up enjoying anything you order in this menu. Buttered coffee, lavender latte, and crepes. How could you go wrong? Atmosphere very inviting.

  • James Mowery

We have a couple of favorite coffee shops in Indy and this is one of them! Their lattes are awesome, and the service is extremely friendly. We tried the sweet crepe (Smores) and that was a work of art. The espresso was pulled just right as well. We will visit again when we are in the area.

  • Fallon Crowley

I visited while passing through Indy. I got one of their seasonal drinks, which was iced espresso with grapefruit lemonade. It was delicious! I also really liked the art they had displayed alongside a collection of antique scales.

Cute little coffee shop. The employees were lovely. We ordered the dirty chai and saraba w a shot. They were so cozy and delicious, perfect for the drizzly glum day. They have crepes and oatmeal on the menu. We didn’t try either, but I thought they were a unique option.

Coffee places that close before midnight never get 5 stars from me. This exception is because everything else about this place is perfect. I ate 2 crepes in a sitting and drank a fantastic latte that had flavor without tasting like a hot donut smoothie. That's rare.

This place has a awesome environment and the barista is absolutely fantastic at making a coffee just the way you like. They also have small pastries if you are hungry. There is also sugar-free offerings for syrup flavors.

Their lavender latte is super good! They also have a very enjoyable raspberry vanilla mint tea. Their coffee pour overs are nice to sip on. This chocolate muffin was super good! They also have wonderful almond croissants.

Love this place, neighborhood staple. I will say, lately they’ve been playing a ton of like, uppity pop music which doesn’t really fit the vibe or occasion of a coffee shop…but that may just depend on the barista.

This is such a beautiful coffee shop and the perfect place to spend a morning with friends. I had a lavender vanilla latte that was SO good, and there are so many sweet or savory crepe options to choose from!

  • Prasad Nair

The coffee is pretty good. The crepes had more of an omelette like taste to it and could do with a few less eggs. The fillings were delicious and the portion size is good. The service is excellent and quick.

Coffee is decent but STAY AWAY from this venue. Ruined my wedding and management did not care and only says “no refunds”, very unprofessional.

We made a stop here, and the espresso and cortado were excellent. Nice vibe to the place, too.
