DO NOT GET APPRAISALS HERE!!!!! I went in to get my engagement ring and wedding band appraised and Frank charged us $75, which I thought was an awesome price. He said it would take a few days to get the appraisal back, but ended up being a week after I had to call and ask what the status was. He then called and told me it was ready to pick up, and I had kindly asked what the value. He had said it was around $3k then calls back and say that the band was an additional $500. My heart dropped!! We were not expecting the appraisal to come back SO LOW. I have a custom ring. 5ct lavender sapphire, which is a rare color to find that we couldn't find it here in the US. Diamonds on the band, along with a basket that holds the stone wrapped with smaller diamonds. On a platinum setting. And he had the nerve to tell me it was around $3k? Out of curiosity and a piece of mind, I then went to Jared the Gallery of Jewelers. Paid $125 just for the engagement ring to get appraised. Bonnie who appraised the ring, travels around the world just to do appraisals, and she appraised it for a little over $12k!!!!! She had mention that since its a custom ring, that is already 200-300% mark up. The platinum setting alone was over $2k. And my sapphire stone alone was around $9k. So don't waste your time and money here. I would really like my money back, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great place but let me say that mr. Robert Trujillo your post and review here in Google is awesome and it seems as though you would be a great customer but..........it seems that you weren't being honest by your post. You said you heard of it a year ago and always stop by when you go to Walmart....well after viewing the mobile website, your name is at the end of it as the owner of the copyright Hmmmmmm if you wanted to advertise, honesty is the best policy in business matters. Since word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, you should not speak lies, the truth is what keeps customers and lies is what get sales. I know it's hard to decide which side to be on as a sales person but keeping customers should be priority since vegas is a transit city. Being able to obtain and keep a customer is one of the greatest tasks to achieve as a business person.! Anyhow, that's my thought for you for the day good luck to you!! :)

DISHONEST! STAY AWAY! I went there yesterday to have a battery replaced for a vintage watch I wanted to give my girlfriend for Christmas. The watch repairman told me that the watch was broken and it would cost $65 to have it repaired including parts. I took the watch to another jewelry repairman today and he put in a brand new battery for $10 and said there was nothing wrong with the watch. He said even if there was an issue that all the other jeweler would have to do is to replace the movement for $20 rather than trying to repair the watch. The watch now works perfectly and my girlfriend’s Christmas will not be ruined. Now I have to get repaired the watchband the first jeweler damaged. The honest jeweler that took very good care of me is located at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet in the main aisle on the right. I will never set foot in that other store again.

I had an extremely important deadline to make for a memorial service, so of course everything that could go wrong went wrong. Despite my best efforts to give myself enough time, I ended up having two pocket watches that needed to be engraved within 48 hours. I didn't think it was going to happen, but Frank went above and beyond for me despite a very heavy workload and had them done with time to spare!! I don't know what I would have done without Neighborhood Jewelers. They have earned a customer for as long as I'm a Vegas Local. The store also has really nice pieces of jewelry and everyone was kind and handled my near meltdown with grace and put my anxiety at ease. For the record, the watches were done a full 12 hours before I could even pick them up! Thank you Frank! You are amazing!!

The people here are nice. They are kind. Great to talk to. However they do not get the job done. If you are there to do a custom made ring stay away. If you are just wanting to buy a ring already made in their case then go for it. They are open 5 days.... However Frank is gone a day, the jeweler is gone another day. So really they are only available to get anything done 3 days a week. They do not return calls and every time you go in they ask for your phone # again because they have misplaced it. Went in 5 times to walk away with 0 results. Not even to have imaging of the ring done. So like I said.... If you are going to buy a piece already made and there then go for it. If you want something specially made then avoid it.

After having a ring sized, come to find that they have removed the rhodium plating, applied an antque finish and losened the diamonds in the setting. Then the owner tells us that there is no heat in the removal or application process and anything they did would be non invasive...... After trying to feed us the lies and nonsense he goes back on his word saying " oh we dont do rhodium plating........" So we had a ring that was black with small diamonds ..... now we have a dingy silver ring with missing stones. Not what i asked for. To top it all off he then insults us and the place we bought the ring. TLDR..... LYING CHEATING LOWLIFE RUNS STORE AND RUINS JEWELRY.

I went in for a simple custom job to have a coin Bezel put around an item. They are professional, respectful, and quick. When I spoke to them on what I was looking for, they seem to understand, and the pieces they displayed looked nice. When I went in to get my item back, I was disappointed with the result. The frame was not even and looks crooked; there is a noticeable lip from the ring, which they said to help support the medal. The other side seems forced, and the craftsmanship is none existence. For what I paid for, I regret coming here.  If you are looking for custom work, you may want to try somewhere else.

Absolutely wonderful! I first heard about the Neighborhood Jeweler a year ago, and have since been there each time we visit Walmart. He's an old-world jeweler with a great current fashion sense, meaning he really takes the time to get to know you and what you're looking for, and then presents pieces that can be wild and entertaining and classically elegant. What we really liked was that he has inventory available immediately. It's a genuine, hospitable place with very impressive pieces at fair prices. We would recommend them to anyone.

I like to use local business whenever possible instead of the chain or big box stores. I was needing a battery replaced in my wifes watch and decided to give this mom and pop store a chance at my business. I will never go there again. The lady working the floor was beyond rude. As I waited for her to finish the customer she was helping she gave me several irritating looks after twice telling me I would have to wait. I finally decided that maybe going to the mall wasn't such a bad idea after all. So much for shopping local.

I brought an expensive watch in for repair on Nov 11th 2023. I have not received it back yet. I have called inquiring about the status ,sometimes getting a call back but, 2 or 3 times no return calls. I was told originally that the watch just needed cleaning, and then, no, there were parts that needed to be replaced that were on backorder. I regret my decision to take it there for repair. I was going to give it to my son for Christmas. That has come and gone.

I moved out of Las Vegas over 11 years ago, and I still trust nobody but Frank to touch my jewelry. I have been mailing my custom wedding ring (designed by Frank) to them for repair/purchase ever since, and I will continue to do so as long as they are in business. I very much like The Neighborhood Jeweler, a small shop owned by a gentleman named Frank...always goes out of his way to please, does an affordable professional job, and just an all around great guy. If you're wondering to whom you want to bring your business, and know that your jewelry is in good hands, this is the place.

I have been a customer of Neighborhood Jewelers for years. I now live out of state but every time I return to LV for a visit, I bring jewelry in for Roberto to repair. I don't trust anyone else. Frank and Roberto are the best! Won't purchase jewelry from anyone else.

I have been going to this Jeweler for 6 years and today I went to have some batteries for my watches and the owners wife was very rude she also rushed me her husband is a better person. I will never return to this place. Since then I have found a better Jeweler.

Awesome service. Went in to get a bracelet appraised. Super friendly and informative. Asked a bunch of questions and Frank took his time answering each and every one of them without being condescending (which is rare). Would go back, especially for appraisals.

My fathers watch was damaged. His breitling lcd was damaged after installing a battery. Watch sat perfect working in my safe since my fathers passing until the battery died. Its a delicate job and they forced it closed and damaged the lcd. Awful!

Many years, we are missing a blue stone silvertone ring we brought in in December 2021 and repairs do not get done “efficiently” currently so try anything and do prayers.

I had a broken clasp on my necklace. I took it in and Roberto had it repaired and back to me in the time it took me to look at the jewelry in the display cases.

They changed a battery in my watch. It died a few weeks later. I didn’t have a receipt so they wouldn’t replace the battery. Waste of money and poor service.

My other jeweler couldn't size my ring any smaller then 1/2 a size, so I was estactic when I found out this jeweler could. He did a great job! Very Happy!
