"Don't expect any service at this hospital"
"Was at maternity ward, the care received from the hospital was good"
"A big thank you to all the staff at Waterfall Netcared and in particular the staff of the Debengeni Ward and main reception"
"The nurses in the emergency department just have a don’t care attitude"
"Shocking experience"
Don't expect any service at this hospital.the emergency room doctors are great. But in the ward I waited for more than an hour ....no nursing staff in sight....no one to make sure that you have dinner ordered...I'm disgusted, the monies you have to pay to make use if this facility does not justify the bad service.
Was at maternity ward, the care received from the hospital was good. My issue is the staff coming in and out of our room would always leave the door open and they have to be reminded to close the door or bang the door when going out waking the baby up. It was irritating. Either than that we had good care.
A big thank you to all the staff at Waterfall Netcared and in particular the staff of the Debengeni Ward and main reception. Their professionalism, effeciency, no problem attitudes, as well as their cheerful dispositions and great smiles made by brief stay all that easier. You guys rock!!!! Brian Murnane
The nurses in the emergency department just have a don’t care attitude. One was sitting behind the admissions desk digging his nose. Please don’t ever go to this hospital. They look like they don’t want to be at work. Like the patients are forcing them to be there. Disgusting service.
Shocking experience. How can you call yourselves a private hospital? 0 stars would be too many. Truly amazing how you are still running. As a hospital you should know that your patients cannot, in fact, read your minds... PUT YOUR RULES UP BEFORE YOUR PATIENTS TRY TO CHECK IN.....
My mum was admitted at 89 to have some tests to control her diabetes and artiritis. She was under sedation through drips for pain relief. She is asleep during meal times and was never woken up to eat. We had to feed her on more than one occasion during visiting hours.
I went to Netcare 2 June and got excellent service. I was admitted 13-14 June and all staff were fantastic, as they changed shifts each staff and nurse, doctor were friendly and caring. My perception of hospitals has changed forever . Thank you and keep it up
By far the worst hospital with the Worst ER ever! this hospital admin needs to be changed! you cannot make patients who are in need of urgent assistance wait for a bed. this is supposed to be a premium hospital! and your charges are absolutely ridiculous!
This is the second time I am coming to this facility, this time came with a friend with a leg injury. Waited 2 hours just to have an xray done and as we speak it’s now 3 hours, no results, no definitive care. Doesn’t really feel like a Private Facility
Only received service because I complained. Had to be a Karen to get assisted. It’s better to go to Bara. The one star is even generous. I pay for a service and I hate having to complain to get decent service. I want my money back ! I will also email
I am at my wit's end with Netcare Waterfall, there is no service to speak of, their phones are never operational and there is no correlation between their website and their actual practitioners. Not to mention the so called specialists like
What a horrible experience at Netcare Waterfall City Paediatric ward! The nurses are super rude, no compassion and there is preferential treatment in the ward. What counts for one person does not count for the next. You have to ask for help
If there was an option to give 0 ,I was. This hospital should’ve been just a Public hospital once!!! Horrible service!! The fact that people wait for over 3 hours just to just see a casual doctor is pathetic!! Worse there’s no privacy, why
my aunt was hospitalized in the Ward A3 after an intervention by one of the best urologist and surgeon Dr. Conradie. I liked the cleanliness of the hospital but unfortunately the service and care the nurses offered was extremely poor. They
The worst experience ever. Levels of incompetence are shocking, they can't use the drip properly, will stab you with a needle several times looking for veins, can't use local anesthesia, will stich your wounds while you're in pain. Waiting
I have been to this hospital on many occasions. And whilst there are some really amazing anaesthetists and the best gynae Doctor Roussot. The casualty, nurses and general physicians provide really poor service and care. Firstly, you'll be
Netcare Waterfall is seemingly perfect on entry and is anything but. The nursing staff are pathetic and that is being kind. They are, rude, unhelpful, and quite frankly incompetent. The facility was clean but half functional. Bathroom taps
Absolutely had the worst service, used the hospital to delivery our second kid and we have hated most of the services after birth. Can't understand how a hospital can charge for items and not have stock. I had to get my needed meds for my
This is meant to be one of the best Netcare hospitals, considering that not only is it in an upmarket area, but it’s also not cheap. But the service ? Horrible ! I am gutted. My baby nephew who’s only 4 months was due for surgery. We were
The most pathetic service I've ever received from a private hospital!! Had to rush my 6YO daughter here on Thursday the 12th Oct '23 because of a high fever. She couldn't be examined because she's autistic and refused to be touched. They
Today I had to go to Netcare Waterfall City Hospital Emergency Ward. Admission service was okay, but the rest of the service was terrible. The Dr attended us after an hour if not more. She was so mean. Service was really bad & very slow.
My husband, Kimyran Chetty, was admitted to the Debengeni Falls ward. We had an a great experience with ALL the nurses and staff in this ward - from day shift to night shift. Special thank you to Stella, Emily and Susan. These ladies are
To be honest I was sceptic and nervous when I was admitted for the delivery of my baby because of the reviews Iv read. I was surprised bcoz I was expecting for the worst. The staff was so friendly with me. Although the waiter mixed match
Emergency room reminds me of a public hospital. Drs and nurses are nice, but waiting times are ridiculous (waited 4 hours to be seen again). Netcare or their casualty unit use the lowlife “Saya recoveries” to hound discharged patients to
Expect to wait a minimum of 4 hours at casualty. Honestly this hospital is disappointing. I have been there 4 different times and I have always waited approximately 4 - 5 hours at CASUALTY. The service is cold, you have to constantly ask
The service at the emergency / casualty department is extremely slow. I went there on the 14th of September 2023, and I was there for 8.5 hours. I spent most of that time waiting, whether in the general waiting area or in the consulting
Horrible service. How is a patient admitted for a week and the family cannot discuss with the doctor what the issue is and to make matters worse nobody picks up the phone when you call. My mother (who is a 'risk falling patient') had to
Shocking experience and poor service as I took my child for a scheduled surgery, only to wait for an hour whilst the sister who supposed to be in theater with the team of doctors was not around. It took me standing up and raising it for
I spent time in the Maternity Ward after the birth of my baby girl in September 2021. The experience I had was exceptional. The nurses are fabulous - friendly caring and competent. C-section recovery can be rough but the nurses were so
If I could give minus 5 I would. Arrived at 3 PM yesterday in the ER. The checked us in due to mestatic brain lesions and more than 24 hours later not a doctor in sight. All the neuros are on holiday so they have a back up in Boksburg
I had an incredibly distressing experience in the emergency room in the early hours of 11 Nov 2023, with an indifferent black male doctor and black male nurse. This facility hardly deserves the title of a private hospital. Getting
You might die in the emergency room waiting for assistance and support. We arrived in the emergency room and the nurses refused to help without checking in with the front desk. We get to the front desk waited half an hour with no
The service is terrible and very low standard, not worth the charge even with booking an executive suite we experienced poor service, nurses provide no communication, waiting times are bad and very poor time management
The service at this hospital is truly horrible. The nurses acted and made unprofessional remarks in my presence with no care. It took forever to get attended to. There is no place to buy food or refreshments at Night.
So incredibly grateful to the emergency room at waterfall city hospital . DR Y SINGH literally saved my life and I am so grateful for all of her help and that of the nursing staff that were on duty on the 29/09/2023.
Absolutely terrible hospital with regards to ER, only 1 doctor results in you waiting for hours upon hours. In the reception, patients vomiting, and staff dont clean, even if you ask it to be cleaned.
Utter trash service. Rude and unreliable. How is this hospital a private hospital. EMERGENCY MEANS NOW, your service is comparable to home affairs. The whole staff needs to be changed.
Bad service from one of the Dr in the emergency rooms. She only attended to me 3hrs later, got to the hospital at 8am, i left at 18h34, no major/severe injuries.
6 hour wait for a private hospital is not reasonable. I hate giving a bad review,i hardly ever do. sitting in pain for 6 hours . …
Do not take your child to Netcare Waterfall. My experience at the hospital was honestly disappointing. My 2 year old was
