Edit: this quickly went from a great car service to one that does not care about its clients. Every thing was great at first until I began noticing that I would have to call to find out what’s going on with our pre booked car services. The car is never ready on time and on the most recent occasion said they would pick us up an hour later!!! And his doctor appointment was in an hour. The outrage! The tipping point was when my father had a bone marrow biopsy procedure done. We called for our return pick up. The gentleman on the phone told us an hour to wait which is fine. W waited about 2 HOURS IN THE SCORCHING HEAT JUST FOR ME TO CALL THIS TERRIBLE CAR SERVICE AND FOR HIM TO SAY THEY HAD NO CARS AVAILABLE! You’re here to help patients! This is my only parent and the pure anger that I felt for my helpless and in pain father is indescribable. THEY GAVE OUR CASE AWAY AND DIDNT EVEN CALL US TO NOTIFY. They tried to give away our case to a random car service that also never showed up. In total we waited 3 and a half hours for anyone to take us home. We had to call our family members to see who can pick us up. He was too much in pain to even walk to a train. HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO A CANCER PATIENT FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIFE!! I would rather be left drifting in the ocean with a tooth pick to keep me afloat than receiving services from you guys again. I’m sorry but some level of organization needs to be done. How do you expect to keep clients happy if you can‘t even send a car to a PRE SCHEDULED PICK UP on time? You guys were great the first 3-4 times we called but it all went down hill after that. Trying our luck with Best Dominican car svc. Best of luck to you guys. Wonderful wonderful service!!!! They came to pick up my father after a huge issue with another car service we we’re scheduled with (Mazz Transportation) who were completely unprofessional and denied taking my father to his transplant doctor appointment in Manhattan. After calling MAS (medanswering services) they assigned to us Newbell and I’m very very happy. We are now currently on route to his appointment. The dispatchers were all delightful and extremely helpful. They were able to accommodate for us very quickly. I’m glad that we can use them for future trips!!! Ramon, our driver got us here very quickly and his car smells like apple cinnamon ! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU GUYS AND AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP (my father says the same )

Horrible Horrible Horrible Service !!! I was waiting with my 84 year old grandmother over 1hour and 15mins for a driver. My first call of the ordeal was initiated at 5:33pm, the dispatcher was aware that I was with my elderly grandmother and told me a driver would pick us up in 15-20mins. At 5:59pm I called to get an ETA, the dispatcher said a minivan was 4 mins away. At 6:10pm, I called once again and the dispatcher stated that I had to wait due to traffic. At 6:25pm, I called again and told the dispatcher I had been waiting for an hour his exact words "that's impossible, my love" After informing him that it was possible and that I was not his love he made up some excuse of the system not getting my phone number correct. He told me to wait 10mins that he was dispatching another car. The amount of frustration coursing through my body was inexplicable but I remained calm. The victim of this dispatcher's inefficient job handling and improper customer service was my poor grandmother that waited so long to get a ride back home from her medical appointment. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. Stay clear. The icing on the whole experience, the driver rode maskless and talked the entire ride on his cell phone. When time came to pay I asked the driver to call the dispatcher. I told the dispatcher that due to the horrible customer service and the unsafe driver that NEWBELL will be covering my ride. The dispatcher stated that he would cover the ride on the contingency that they would no longer provide me with their service. I stated that he was doing me a favor by not providing me with with such service and he hung up the line.

I called and requested a pick up, I was told to wait 30 to 40 minutes. I waited an hour and then called back. I was told the delay was due to traffic. I waited for 2 hours and then called again. They then informed me they could not pick me up because their system was down for 1 hour and a half therefore they can not provided the service. Not only did they never come to pick me up but they lied about the reason for the delay and made me think someone was on their way when they hadn't dispatched anyone. They wasted my time and didn't even have the decency to call me to inform me they couldn't provide the service. Terrible communication and never provided the service they supposedly offer.I had to call Brooklyn Radio Dispatch and they arrived in less than 10 minutes.

I didn't get to use the car service but they were prompt getting to my location to pick me up. The only issue I had with the company is the language barrier of the lady answering their phones. She spoke with a heavy accent and slammed the phone down. All I heard her say was no car available. But apparently she was not talking to me bcuz New Bell services pulled up after I got in a different cab. Maybe its bcuz I called 3am in the morning. I really don't know. But I would encourage people to take this car service, bcuz they were on time and the car looked pretty good. The driver was even nice enough to call me

Called company because I left something in the van that picked me up. I was told by a rude female operator that because I flagged the car down and it picked me up, and did not call that nothing can be done. She did not make an effort to even contact any of the drivers to see if they found anything in the car or check the destination I was dropped off at. And not only that, but that it was impossible for it to be her company because her company refuses to take people who flag them down. She was rude, constantly cut me off while I was talking, and no help at all. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

One thing for sure the service was way better before the pandemic, as far as how fast they would arrive. After they would say 10 min and it would be a hit or miss now they are saying 10 min and they come between 4 and 8 minutes. Not bad but some drivers are really nice and some can be extremely rude & impatient with there customers because when you complain to there base nothing really happens to them. I woul give them a 3 star but it's the drivers that mess it up for the company & sometimes the dispatch. It's a hit or miss using new bell car service nowadays when I use to love there service

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! Someone posted a review about them switching prices at the last minute. That is true. I just fell victim to this horrible company. The driver spoke to me as if I'm trying to pull a fast one and like I did something wrong. I called the company on speaker phone and the same guy that gave me that price told me the new price is not much of a difference (it was) it's not a big deal. He said just pay it. It's nothing. How rude and inconsiderate is that ? Please save your time and energy and potential embarassment. Go with another company.

Getting a ride to the airport isn’t much of an issue, but good luck trying to get picked up. Three times I’ve scheduled rides with New Bell to pick me up from JFK and three times I’ve been left waiting. And waiting. And waiting… They never showed. Three rides, three no-shows. So I’m stuck calling a Lyft for twice the price and still having to wait. At this point New Bell has cost me an extra $150 by not showing up for schedule rides. If you need a ride to the airport, they’re not a terrible option. But make other plans if you want to get home when you return.

Ordered a car for a medical appointment- had set up a pick up and drop off time with new bell through my health insurance. I had to call them three times to get someone to pick me up half an hour late, had to call them three times for my pickup from the hospital and after waiting an hour- called again and was told I had never set up a time or spoken to the dispatcher before. Wanted to support my OG car service, I’ve been using them on and off for 15 years, but forget about it now. Never coming back.

5 mins turn into 30 mins, 3 days in a row! TODAY my 4th day, A CAB NEVER CAME! Then when i called the SECOND TIME, the dispatcher NEVER sent another Cab!!! HORRIBLE SERVICES! NEVER WILL I USE this Car service again!!! Too many disappointments!! Very UNPROFESSIONAL!! The dispatchers are NOT HELPFULL! ZER0 STARS!!!!! Don't even deserve one star!!! BAD BUSINESS!!! I wish I could give them 0. DONT ever TAKE THEM.THEY ARE UNSAFE. The ruined MY ONlY DAY OFF The driver took an hour off the way and instead Ateia he took me to east new york . i gave him address 3 times . Not only did i miss a class that I paid for Iit took him another hour to get where i wanted to go!!! He wasted 3 hours of the ONLY day off i have The guy that answered the phone at the base was very rude , he said it’s not his fault and hung up on me!!!

New Bell Car Service is great most of the time but in weather they seem to fail. Also their customer service needs to improve and they need more phone coverage /phone lines, there is sometimes a busy signal when I call when I need to call when i am in a rush and then i am forced to use expensive UBER. The drivers need to speak English better and use their GPS when they are going into the city. But overall it is not that bad of a car service.

Excellent service. Although the dispatcher is primarily spanish speaking they are also fluent in english and will work hard to get you the answers you need. I needed a quote from Bklyn to New Jersey and they researched the route and tolls to provide me with an accurate fee that was less than both Uber and Lyft. An immaculately clean car wisked me off with light music in the background. Thoroughly satisfied.

First of all plz train your drivers to speak English. Second, the time they tell you to wait is never to be trust. When they said 5 mins it could take up to 10 more mins. When they told you 10-12mins and you come out after 12 mins they already left. Blaming you that you haven't been waiting outside. Ridiculous. If there were more options in this neiboughood this company should already be out of business.

This cab service has dispicabally rude and disrespectful and unprofessional drivers.i took a driver today who was on his phone cussing someone out,when I asked him to get off the phone,he started cussing at me,I called the base to complain and all they had for me was a sorry apology,and no reprimand for their driver..i will NEVER use this service again,and I will ask my friends not to use them as well.

New Bell Car Service has been consistently reliable in my experience. I've encountered nothing but pleasant and professional drivers, and their pricing is both transparent and reasonable. However, I do have a reservation when it comes to the dispatcher, who hasn't been as amiable. Overall, it's a solid choice for transportation, but there's room for improvement in the customer service department.

I was picked up from my apartment at the exact time I was scheduled to be picked up by a driver in a white Honda and taken to LGA on time with professionalism and courtesy. The driver even offered to charge my cell phone. I will definitely be recommending as well as using New Bell car service more often. Thanks Jose for the great service and great hospitality.

This car service is the worst that I have ever experienced, you place your call requesting a ride they give you an estimated time, then they never show up, after waiting 45 minutes you call the base again, the operator tells you that they have just gotten there and know nothing of your request, but will send another car, this car also never shows up! .

I have used this car service as of August a few times and haven't had any problems with them. They give a time frame and have stuck to the time given so no disappointment there and the prices i've been charged have been fair and same as others. The drivers i've had have been polite and respectful. I still use this car service.

I used them all the time until these guys totally screwed up. They don't tell their customers that local reservations get canceled in the system, so they just don't show up. Then they told me "five minutes" for a car that never showed. Was late for work and had to take uber anyway. They're just not reliable.

Due to Uber being the top dog in how people are now going places, livery cabs are becoming non existent. This company should be shut down. before i took the ride i called around for price's they came in as $30 so i took i get in the car driver told me its $45 he did not Lat me call the base he called and then he told me base saying $38 and then i called base eigen and base also told me $30 basically driver wanted to make an extra $15

This is really the worst car service company in Brooklyn. The say they are going to send cabs and the cans never come. If the car does come it is after an extremely long wait time. The dispatchers are rude. The prices are never consistent. Save your time and money. Trust me.

I used to take new bell all the time but then I realized there's no standard for charging. Some drivers usually charge what they want. That being said how is a cab to soho 20 dollars. While a cab to midtown is 30. From the same start location. Makes no sense.

Used them 3 times in the past 2 days. Stellar service for seniors citizens! My husband left his cell phone in cab. We called and it was found and returned in 5 minutes. Best in Brooklyn. I am from CT and will definitely use them whenever I'm visiting my son.

Uber driver cancelled me 1 mile from my location. I couldn't pull up anymore Uber. This driver arrived within 5 min of my daughter's call. Great driver! Thank you for getting me to my flight. Lesson learned: Allow plenty of travel time for mixups..
