Horrible chippy I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down I don't normally do reviews but this needs highlighting the chips are cold and horrible we ordered soup and there was a fly in it even waiting for the food looking around I regretted ordering before I did as it looks dirty and run down lights don't work and the walls are greasy and dirty after this I walk down green lane to a chippy half an hour away that's how bad it is it really needs health and safety going in also I was speaking to locals about my experience and they said it's a hit or miss chippy and when I mentioned the fly they laughed and said your not the only one it happens alot

I have never met such unpleasant staff In my whole life. Was shouted at from the word go. Only ordered fried rice, chips and curry sauce, as they had run out of fish, even though there where 2 in the warmer for the 15 minutes I was in there. The older woman who could hardly speak English was very nasty. After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked how much long it would be, to be told to come back in 15 minutes. I have never have, and will never be, spoken to by someone I am paying for goods.. Shame on you New happy fryer. I ended up walking out telling them they were and absolute joke. I will never ever go back to that chippy again. Please avoid.

Food was delicious! We ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, crab meat and sweetcorn soup, BBQ spare ribs, crab claws, spring rolls and finally a house special chowmein. some of the best food me and my mum have tasted. Although, it's very unfortunate they do not have "OK sauce" meals as it was my favourite dish at one of their competitors. But none the less, thoroughly enjoyable takeaway!! Would definitely recommend. SUPER MEAL.

I phoned for 2 steak diners they said no steak I asked for 2 quarters of crispy duck they only had 1 and I thought it was just a one off but it’s happend a couple of times a week now for the last month absolutely scruffy chippy can’t even afford to buy stock will not be ringing again and when I did get steak it was tiny and like chewing an old leather boot stay away from this chippy if that’s what you can call it

I ordered a meal for the family and it was one of the best we have ever had. Quick service and hot food. Even during this pandemic they seem to be very punctual and still making food of high quality. The owners themselves are lovely and bring a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step foot in there. I would give this 10 stars if I could, this truly is an amazing place I would recommend it to anybody!

My mum just got us take away from here an honestly its bloody dissgusting my sister had chicken wings one was fine then got to the other it was very raw an still blood on the bone. I took pictures but wont let me post so but we have not had a problem with them till tonight. We will not be getting food from here no more disgusting suprised this place is still open

FOod was vile and all I had was a pie dinner. Chops warmed up and stale, pie that tasted like it wasn’t cooked with radiation from a nuclear spill and peas that’s you could skim across water they were that’s hard.

Absoulty discustine atitude on manager never smiles or greets customers always depressing looking an food isent upto much she makes i wouldnt recomend this chippy to anybody i have lived by the chippy since i was littl and shes never said hello or eavun smiled am a easy go person will chat an greet anybody

gave me curry sauce instead of gravy and i went into an allergic shock and had to go to A&E to get it sorted , called up later to tell them they messed up my order with gravy to curry and they didn't understand what i said and thought i was ordering another curry, i just hung up at that point

You know what we order regular from this place now I no its busy during lockdown but when you phone up and ask how long and get told an hour for it to turn up over 2 hours later is taking the piss . I have no problem with waiting just be honest with your customers especially regulars

Food is god awful, service if you can get it is god awful an sometimes your lucky to get chamge I don't mean things are expensive which they are I mean she literally won't give you your change.

Bloody disgusting, chips where warm ups, pie was burned ,food was warm ,waited 30 minutes for the meal felt like driving off..one good thing came out of it the dog enjoyed it...never go back there if it was the only chippy in Liverpool

Ordered beef curry fried rice and chips. Chips were dreadful the beef had chunks of grysel in i want a refund for the teeth i have just lost biting into a chip. 2.9 rating worst chippy in old swan gone down hill this place not happy.

placed an order at 9.05 arrived 10.05 ordered chicken curry with rice no onions and 3 chop suey rolls , got the curry full of onion and only 1 chop suey roll .Used to be a decent take away now I'll avoid and spend my money elsewhere

Terrible chippy the woman behind the counter is most miserable woman you will ever meet, just been in as theres no other chippys nearby and she left a fella waiting nearly 20 mins and his food was already done, very poor service

The chippy with no food you will be lucky to get what you want they probably have to go shop an buy it or lend it off another chip shop they have nothing in stock bear essentially your lucky to get a sausage and chips

Only popped in pot of curry and some spring rolls . Not many chippys about here so not really spoilt for choice food fairly decent

Needs closing down absolutely disgusting. The whole meal went in the bin was and hungry and passing so decided to get a takeaway there. I've got to say it again needs a visit from food hygiene.

Not too good . Me partner was sick because of the fish not being cooked properly also I never got no sauce on me meal which I couldn't phone BK because they where closed. ... SPOILT EVERYTHING

Kitchen is spotless and open too chips are cooked fresh no warm ups also fish cooked as ordered also do both telephone ordering and deliveries portions are large good value for money x

We are a care home that ordered afew meals for our service users.. horrified to be delivered RAW chicken...!!!! chips were disgusting!! Crispy salt & pepper chicken.. ? RAW and soggy!

Bought chicken fried rice it was horrible it was all stuck together and under cooked the only food I would buy again from there would be chip's

March 2016 - Basic chips order but they were dreadful. I don't mind a reheat now and again but these were like cardboard. Won't be going again.

Just got a meal sweet and sour vegetables with boiled rice was lovely. Service can't fault it. I will order again thanks happy fryer
